Could have sworn I rated this place already! Excellent sandwiches. I've had a lot of them here: the spicy tuna, pastrami, Italian sub, and meatball are all great. The patrons and staff are all wonderful and treat me like a neighbor. I wish I lived closer to Lake Forest, still, but I look for excuses to come back to Peanuts whenever I can!

A hidden gem in El Toro. Great food. Try the pizza! A great local crowd. And the servers and kitchen staff are great. Watch it if you're there on Wanda's shift. She acts as her own bouncer. No mercy.

Just a heads up - this is a beer/wine only bar as of the writing of this review. This is probably the least pretentious place you will find in Irvine. If you want a chill place to grab some pitchers and hang out this is the spot. They have decent bar food and free peanuts too. The bartenders are really nice as well.

I come to Peanuts every week for a cold beer and great food. Wanda and her staff are awesome people and there are a bunch of regulars that come. Highly recommend checking Peanuts out if you have not.

Fun little dive-bar in Lake Forest! I was near getting my car window tinted, so I have wait time of 2 hours then I walked to this place. I ordered chicken wings and tap beer there. Love the wings 🍗 because they are more Southern flavored; with a kick! And I like their tap beer selections too 🍻 so I know next time to come back here hungry again 😋

Nice beer selection. Amazing custom pizzas. Outdoor seating. Great local bar. Regulars are welcoming, and they treat you like family. Bumping up to 5 star now after 10+ visits. And yes throw the peanuts on the floor...

I had lunch here. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive. I had a cheese steak sandwich. It was good, but not great. I would try something else next time. The environment was a bit too noisy for me. However, I'm more sensitive to noise than most people. Perhaps it's a bit odd to mention this, but the owners of this place are clearly conservative... they got a Trump banner. They are also not politically correct. I personally am a liberal and had no issue with any of this. In fact, I found the banter quite amusing and even agreed with some of what I was hearing. I only mention this, because if you are one of these woke crybabies then you might start fuming over nothing like you people always do. Maybe not the place for you. I would go back, but I'm not in the area that often.

I'm not much of a bar person, which is what this is, therefore, the 4 rating. I went because of the Deli and was craving a corned beef sandwich, which they did not have. I opted for the pastrami which was quite tasty. I would go back again to try something else.

You are better off eating at Burger King if you are wanting it your way!!!!!

I ordered sandwiches from here because of the high reviews. Turns out the place was packed on a Thursday night. Nobody wears masks, servers included. Felt very uncomfortable while waiting for the bartender to get my food. On the plus side, the food was still pretty good, but not worth the risk of contracting a deadly disease.

I didn't share my review last time I stopped here, but when a person's experience is repeated, it's time to do a review. Why can't you order your food and get what you asked for? They can't even get a basic hamburger right, I'm guessing the cook does not understand English or the person taking the order doesn't get it either! Then my change from my tab wasn't brought back to the table. Duh! The locals may find this place to be just okay, but I have no reason to come back to this place. You are better off eating at Burger King if you are wanting it your way!!!!!
