Opinions de Abbott Pizza Lake View
Look, yes the pizza is expensive. While I was eating there three different people exclaimed “$6 for a slice???” But this is really really good pizza, especially the salad pizza. 2 slices will absolutely fill you up, and for $12 that’s a good price here in Venice.
I recently had the pleasure of indulging in what can only be described as the perfect pizza experience. The crust was beautifully golden-brown and toasty—just the way a pizza crust should be.
Best and likely only salad slice in all of LA. And cant get a pie with everything bagel style crust anywhere else in LA that I can think of. GREAT pies. No bathroom, but there used to be access to an outside one in back, years ago. Major people watching zone. Wish they would put a UV/window tint on the front wall. No one ever sits in the front window seats because its SO hot, so those stools, and the best views, all go to waste unless its cold out... in LA 😂. Service is fast. Wish the'd have a sauce bottle like they do for ketchup. They used to drizzle the sauce on the salad pies for you. But everything has gone COVID crazy on single use plastic in this city, and seems to never be going back because employees are a more expensive upfront cost than a tsunami of plastic trash later. Granted, I know youre not going to be washing reusable plates, but how hard would it be to out the salad sauce in ketchup squezz bottle. Youll likely save on sauce for those who use less... not to mention fewer containers purchased and packed by employees.
One of my favorite pizza places on one of hottest streets in LA. I always get their salad pizza, but other slices are very good too. The portion’s huge, ingredients are fresh, and the complimentary dipping sauce is a must for the crust! Getting salad pizza from here became my routine when I’m in the area:)
Delicious pizzas in the heart of Venice. The crust is just perfect, and you have an almost unlimited amount of topping options (you can also create your own). 10/10 would recommend (went two days in a row because it was so good)
I go here usually at around 10:00 PM because a weekly meeting I attend ends at that time and even though they have their leftover pieces of pizza from dinner time then, they are so delicious! I ask them to warm it open in the oven and it's some of the best pizza I've had in L.A. I can only imagine what it would be like fresh at dinner time. I will definitely have to try it around then. Also, when you're finished you can walk right around the corner and get Salt & Straw ice cream for dessert!
Looking for a spot to dine in some pizza? — look no further! This was another recommended food place from my hostel host. The staff were friendly and helpful with recommendations from the menu. I had x2 slices of the meat lovers and BBQ chicken pizzas as the whole pizza sizes were too much for me to eat by myself (and I eat a lot). Great value for money and surrounding nearby food establishments. It is about a 10-15 min walk from the boardwalk area, but can be cut down by e-bike/scooter. I would definitely recommend checking it out if you’re staying in the Venice Beach area.
here’s the thing- this place is a sanctuary of pizza. the employees are the kindest people with commitment to making community as good as their slices. nice people! YOU GOTTA try that everything crust!
Konstantine has always been really helpful all the time. Ive known him and this place since forever and its always good to feel at home whenever im grabbing pizza from them.
This is a tiny little place but absolutely worth the 6.50 a slice. PROTIP: Ask what is the freshest thing on the rack. I got lucky and the five onion pizza had just come out; amazing! Like an everything bagel except it is pizza! Fiiii-yuurrrr. I will say the salad pizza seems very popular as well. It is more salad than pizza lol
Max is amazing. Very inviting and helpful. I had the pepperoni pizza and the new crust recipe is so good!
I started eating at this pizza shop when it was located on the Venice Beach Boardwalk. It later moved to Abbott Kinny in the early 90s and was known as Abbott Kinny Pizza. Now it is just habit Pizza. Whenever I come into Los Angeles, I always make sure to stop here for at least a slice. I can't believe how the prices have risen. You used to be able to get a slice and a soda for $2.50 Now it's way over eight bucks. The crust is good. It's thin and crispy and if you get a full pie, you can have anything needed into the crust like garlic, sesame seeds, and other various types of add-ins.
Abbot’s is a classic. I do the bbq chicken slice usually but you can’t go wrong. Staff is wonderful as well
The best place on Abbot Kinney BY FAR!!! Keeps the neighborhood rich and honest! I love Max, Monica & Constantine~ they are gold.
love this treasure spot! always feeds the soul! and I heard they will be open for another decade! congratulations to the team you are our community joy 💐
still great pizza, more than a decade since I'd last been. If you're into onions, gotta try the 5 onion. Sold easily by the slice. You've never had a crust edge like this...an everything bagel. Seriously worth a try if you're a pizza lover. Not much seating (like 10 stools) so best on the go or takeout
Pizza worth traveling for. Ever had a slice of pizza feel so good? Last night I had introduced for the 3rd time the salad slice. A combination of fresh light and healthy with a ready to serve spin. Topped with greens you would find in your favorite salad and a crust that says "I'm good for you". Sesame seeds, avocado, tomato bits. Gosh writing this just makes my mouth water. Don't forget the spicy sauce that ties it all together. This is why we come to Abbot Kinney. While you're here try the Pepperoni slice and any other slice that suits your fancy I promise you you won't be disappointed. Bring a date, bring a friend, tell your family, come alone. Just do yourself a favor try a slice of a pizza thats hard to find. Delicious and made with love, that your stomach will thank you for. Thank you Abbot Kinney Pizza Company for always hitting the spot.
This place was good, its obviously not the cheapest slice pizza however I imagine rent on abbot Kinney must be painful. We were just looking for a quick bite with good pizza and luckily came across this place. For a late night slice pizza joint it's very good quality and was very delicious.
What a hidden gem! I'm visiting from Idaho for a week and I popped into this place looking for a Coke. They had my favorite glass bottled Coke and I ended up grabbing a slice of pizza too. It was delicious! So good that I ended up going again again and we tried several other choices. Pretty sure I'm gonna squeeze in one more time before I go back home. Staff was very friendly too. I like the overall vibe.
Classic Venice spot with it's signiture own style. Best salad pizza ever. Best bbq chicken pizza ever. Make sure you get the everything crust! Get a giant cookie.
Been coming here since I was a kid same great slice. I love this place so much and it always hits. Do yourself a favor and get their bbq chicken slice or any of their other delicious gormet slices
It’s been at least a decade if not two since I last had a slice of Abbot’s Habit (as it was called on my last visit) but nothing has changed when it come to the undeniably high quality and tastiness of the pizza made here. I’ll be frank…I’ve now had four slices in the last 24 hours and that is no small feat. Just look at the size of the slice in my photo! That one there is the Salad slice and it is just their delicious crust with a salad on it. Delicious! Do yourself a favor and plan your travels to take you by this place. It is a must experience.
Loved the food, still here 16 years later, still delicious as always. 5 star food, but very small spot, so that's a bit of a crowded experience, but part of its charm. This is a busy town, you will be close to other humans while there. Very cozy. Also, they are friendly 👌😁. The cook was very friendly too, when they gave me my slices. They give you a nice big box, I am addicted to their salad pizza , omg, brilliantly delicious 🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪👑🙏👌❤. I can't tell you what else i am buying, I go by looks and point 🤪😂😂. The food is amazing 👌👌👌
Athens pie is to die for. We ordered a large pizza and it was so delicious I cannot even explain. It was the most delicious pizza I’ve had in the last few years. I have since visited NYC and this location and this Athens pizza puts every one to shame. It is just so delicious I would definitely say that it is thin crust. But it is beyond delicious. Customer service was great. Flavor and delivery was on point. We also ordered the mushroom pizza only and it was not as good but the Athens pizza OMG don’t miss out.
My top 3 🍕 restaurant in the world, the 2 other ones are in Dubrovnik and in Taipei. so surprised that I'd be in love with vegetarian pizza. Highly recommend the salad pizza (topped with avocado) and the gyspsy one that is also delicious. What amazed me was the crust that was so crispy that I'd almost cried. $13 for 2 giant slices, we were full.
Abbots is finally back!!! I grew up on the westside and ate abbots as a kid, the early days were wonderful but anyone with half a palette knows the quality went way down hill about 10 years ago. This is real pizza. The team is clearly making big changes and that’s long overdue. The updates: dough with real crumb structure, fresh tomato’s, quality cheese, artisanal pepperoni. Our neighborhood joint is finally back and better than ever.
The new owners have been working on a new dough recipe, and I think they finally nailed it. Got a cheese pizza this week and it was excellent. If you were upset about the transition in ownership, I’d encourage you to try it again. It’s very good now!
We’ve been going to Abbotts for 30 years and it’s never been better. The pizza is delicious, the crust is incredible, and the new ownership is local, committed, and quality-driven. Try the cheese pizza— SO much better than ever before!
New owner, and pizza is utterly improved. More fresh ingredients and better dough. It was maybe 2/3 stars before but now hands down 5 and definitely my fav pizza place on the westside. People that work there are also very friendly and personal. A+. Can’t recommend enough
Abbot’s pizza has been a Sunday night staple in our home for over 20 years because they consistently produce ,fresh, yummy pizza that’s fresh, crispy, toppled with tasty ingredients. Their unique salad pizza is our healthy favorite And, their counter reps are always friendly. Thanks guys! Lil
YUMMMMMM! Amazing pizza we always leave smiling.. Definitely bummed about the Menu changes – especially the missing avocado on our favorite salad pizza :( - but the vibe makes up for it thanks to Mr. Constantine the host with the most! Change is good, but don’t change too much Abbots pizza! You guys are the heart of Venice!
Abbott Pizza is our pizza spot. My husband and I are both from NY, and this is the only place in LA that keeps us coming back week after week. We drive from Huntington Park to Venice just for their slices. The salad slice is my absolute favorite the mix of that everything-bagel seasoning, the crunchy greens, the warm bread, and that spicy dressing is unreal. Their regular slice hits every time too. Ten years of going here and never a bad slice. Legit the best.
Before coming to try their pizzas I made a list of 6 possible slices I would like to try just in case they were out of a few. When I arrived they had everything! Amazing to me they had all pizzas available but it did make it hard for me to narrow down my choices lol They were all friendly & patient explaining each slice. I ended up choosing the Fourway, Popeyes, and Marinated BBQ Chicken. The slices were big and it took me two times to eat it all! They each were rich in flavor & had their own distinctive taste. I am very impressed & sad they are not local to me. I will be back soon! Keep doing what yall are doing 🖤

Abbot’s Pizza Company – Venice, CA ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (5/5) Had the gluten-free Meat Lovers pizza and it was on point. The crust held up beautifully (which is rare for gluten-free), and every bite was loaded with flavor — high-quality toppings, perfect seasoning, and just the right amount of crisp. Service was excellent. The staff were chill, welcoming, and knew what they were doing. No stress, no rush — just good vibes all around. The place itself? Super relaxed. It’s got that classic Venice energy where you can kick back, enjoy your food, and let the day slow down a little. No fuss, just great pizza in a spot that feels local and real. Definitely recommend — whether you’re gluten-free or not, this spot delivers. I’ll be back.
Maybe I just like pizza but this is so darn delicious. On the plus side the pizzas are so unique I would take my friends new to la here. The salad pizza tastes nothing like regular salad on top of pizza dough and you just gotta try it! Bianca was so good also. Try pizzas you wouldn’t normally see elsewhere.
my family came here during a trip to la and absolutely loved it! after spending some time walking the beach and shopping, we came here in the evening to grab a bite. we ordered a small tomato basil and an extra large curry and chicken which was more than enough for the six of us. the whole team was really kind and helpful to everyone who came in, and was really receptive to questions and conversation. overall we loved it and was definitely the best place for dinner during our last night in la, 5✨ p.s. thank you to the team for the cookie! my younger siblings were very happy :)
I recently tried Abbott Pizza and it was a fantastic experience. The Buffalo Chicken Pizza was a flavor explosion, with just the right amount of spice and a generous topping of juicy chicken. The Pepperoni and Bacon Pizza was equally impressive, boasting crispy, savory bacon and perfectly seasoned pepperoni. The crust was perfectly baked, balancing crispness and chewiness. The staff was friendly and the service prompt. Abbott Pizza is a must-visit for pizza lovers!
I’m so glad I accidentally stumbled upon Abbot’s Pizza Company. It’s a tiny hole-in-the-wall place that’s easy to miss, but the smell of fresh pizza drew us in, ready to eat! As a big pizza fan, I usually stick to my favorites and rarely venture into different toppings. So, I went for my ultimate favorite: pepperoni and pineapple. I love this sweet and savory combination—it just works. But if you’re not into pepperoni and pineapple, don’t worry; they have plenty of other choices. The restaurant was quite busy, and we had to wait a bit. The space is small, with limited seating. They have high bar stools with a table attached to the wall, which aren’t the most comfortable, but they did the job. When our pizza was ready, we decided to eat it there since we were starving and already seated. The pizza was perfection! It had a great amount of sauce, cheese, and toppings, with a crust that was both crispy and doughy. Just delicious!
Very personable staff that have worked years for the company and are passionate about the community and your tastebuds! Monica and Max were both so exceptional with their customer service; I will absolutely be back to try their Hawaiian pizza. Had the mushroom and salad pizza. Full of delicious savoring flavor. Crust was thin and just right. Most pizza places out here never get it right but Abbots does it well!
This pizza has gotten lower quality and more expensive over time. Still good for a quick slice and the salad pizza is amazing but it’s just not the same. $25 for 3 slices is wild
Abbot's Pizza might be Venice's favorite pizza place to take out from. The smells escaping this tiny location are always tempting. Its a colorful place that makes you happy for finding some quality slice options to choose from. In my opinion, the prices are a bit steep, however, some slices like the salad topped one is worth a pretty penny. Its all relative I suppose. If the exterior looks inviting, perhaps because a constant number of folks digging in to slice outside on the counter, this California mainstay is jam-packed with entertaining chalk designs, old photographs, singing pizza cooks and counter staff, and beachside brightness, so the interior does not disappoint.... and hey, you might just find yourself packed inside like a crowd of sardines besides others looking to snag some great pizza just like yourself!
Chill local spot serving up pizzas and salads. Came here for a late bite on a Thursday night and there was still a line. They were out of several slices including the famous salad pizza, so I tried a different veggie slice per the cashier’s recommendation. The pizza slice was very large and one was enough to tide me over. You pay first and then get your order. Slices and whole pizzas are available. Gluten-free and vegetarian friendly. There’s limited indoor seating but most people seemed to have opted for takeout. Credit cards accepted. Street parking.
THE GOOD! Big Slices, tasty veggie toppings, hip location, vintage vibes. THE FAIR: skimpy on the pizza sauce, limited stool seating. THE MEH! no ice for sodas, pesto sauce is more oil than sauce. CONCLUSION: Not many by the slice spots for locals left so I support them. Inside stools on end table or bench outside to eat.10/10 people/fashion watching on The A.K..
One of the best salad pizzas you’ll ever have. But the pepperoni pizza may be the worst pizza I’ve ever had. No taste. Not enough cheese. Zero love in making it. $30+ for a tasteless pepperoni pizza. I could only eat one slice. I don’t get how you even mess up a pepperoni pizza. I’ve never been to a pizza place that had one of the best slices I’ve ever had and one of the worst slices I’ve ever had. The service here is the absolute worst! Every employee miserable being there. No people skills. Can’t even put on a fake happy while working. Check out Gjelina pizza next door. Ospi or Prince Street Pizza are better options too.
The kind of pizza that’s premade-they store it in a clear box, you choose your pizza and they then heat it or finish cooking it in the oven. That’s not my favorite style.. Restaurant is cool and seems to have a pretty good following.. Just not my thing..
What happened? I’m born and bred west side but I’ve been away for 4 years and salad pizza from Abbot’s was on the top of my list. It’s not the same. There’s no avocado and the quality has changed for the worst. Get it together…
Used to be awesome, but recent order was not very good. Mushroom pizza had no sauce? No more goat cheese pizza? Pricing is good tho at $40 for ~3-4 meals edit: if i had one suggestion, i bring back the old pizza even if it means a price increase. i would happily pay $10 more for what i had previously (october ish)
It’s mid. No good. Not horrible. But anything over/under 2-3 stars is completely ignorant.
I don't get the hype. I went twice hoping the first visit was a fluke because of all the good reviews. Nope. $7 a slice and it's not good. At all. Super thin and it looked and tasted like it was three days old. They even warmed it up for me and it was served like a swampy mess. I went twice and got different slices both times and had the same experience. The staff is indifferent as well. They tell you to refer to the board with all the slices that are available. Then you tell them which one you want and they tell you we don't have that right now… We don't have that one either… Nope, we don't have that one either… Then you have to try to look at stacked pizzas in the dark behind plexiglass and keep pointing and asking what is that… What is that…? Annoying process and the pizza is not good or served hot.
Let me start by saying that I loved this place for over a decade. But they recently sold the business and things have gone downhill since then. The pies are more expensive (and as I write this, it looks like the prices on some things have gone up again), they're smaller, the crust is different and nowhere near as good, and the people that made this place a neighborhood haunt are no longer there. I'm sad to say that this is likely the last time I'll be getting a pie here.
I had previously given Abbot's Pizza Company a 4-star rating, but after trying a free slice of cheese pizza, I am lowering my rating to 2 stars. The pizza was disappointingly low quality. The crust was doughy and undercooked, the cheese was bland, and the sauce was watery. I was really disappointed, as I had been looking forward to trying the pizza again. I understand that the restaurant offered me a free slice in an attempt to change my rating, but I feel that it is important to be honest about my experience. I hope that the restaurant will take my feedback into consideration and make some improvements to their pizza. Here are some specific details about the low quality of the pizza: The crust was doughy and undercooked. It was difficult to cut through and had a gummy texture. The cheese was bland. It had no flavor and was very greasy. The sauce was watery. It was runny and did not have any depth of flavor. I was really disappointed with the pizza. I had been looking forward to trying it again, but I was very underwhelmed. I hope that the restaurant will take my feedback into consideration and make some improvements. Here are some of the ways Abbot's Pizza Company could improve: Use better quality ingredients. The crust, cheese, and sauce were all of low quality. Using better quality ingredients would make a big difference in the taste of the pizza. Cook the pizza properly. The crust was doughy and undercooked, and the cheese was bland. Cooking the pizza properly would improve the texture and flavor of the pizza. Experiment with different recipes. The pizza I tried was very basic. Experimenting with different recipes would allow Abbot's Pizza Company to create a more unique and flavorful pizza. Take inspiration from other pizzerias. There are many great pizzerias in Los Angeles. Taking inspiration from other pizzerias would allow Abbot's Pizza Company to improve their own pizza. Here are some specific examples of pizzerias that Abbot's Pizza Company could take inspiration from: Prime Pizza: Prime Pizza is a New York-style pizzeria that has been praised for its high-quality ingredients and authentic flavors. Ghisallo: Ghisallo is a Neapolitan-style pizzeria that has been praised for its wood-fired pizzas and fresh ingredients. Joe's Pizza: Joe's Pizza is a New York-style pizzeria that has been in business for over 60 years. It is known for its simple, yet delicious pizzas. Jon & Vinny's: Jon & Vinny's is a California-style pizzeria that has been praised for its creative pizzas and casual atmosphere. Pitfire Pizza: Pitfire Pizza is a wood-fired pizzeria that has been praised for its seasonal pizzas and commitment to sustainability. I tried Abbot's Pizza Company again, and it was even worse than I remembered. The crust was like a soggy sponge, the cheese was like rubber, and the sauce was like ketchup. It was so bad, I almost threw up. I don't know what they're doing over there, but they need to stop. They need to ship in their water from New York, try Prime Pizza, Ghisallo, Joe's Pizza, Jon and Vinny's, Pitfire Pizza, and reconsider what they are doing. Because right now, their pizza is a disgrace. It's like they're not even trying. They're just throwing together whatever ingredients they have on hand and calling it pizza. It's insulting to the people of Los Angeles. We deserve better than this. So, Abbot's Pizza Company, if you're listening, please do us all a favor and get your act together. We're begging you. Make better pizza. Or else we're going to start a petition to have you shut down.
I’ve ordered here a few time the first two the pizzas were delicious. The third time the salad pizza was soggy and the avocado was wilted like maybe it went on the oven, they were willing to remake it. Today I order and it’s completely burnt. I’m over the salad pizza experience which is unfortunate because their other slices were pretty good
Sad to say, but Abbots was sold and the pizza has changed. I had been eating here for 20+ years, but probably not any longer. The cheese, the dough, the crust are all different and all for the worse. It’s not terrible, just sub-par. RIP Abbots.
omg , i walked all the way over after looking at their delicious menu thinking i will get my late night dinner , I had other options, but I chose here, walked all the way over here only to find out that they have the wrong hours listed, and they are closed. And by the time I went to a different place, they were all closed. Very disappointing experience trying to eat here.
After changing the ownership, taste is so different and not nice. It was full of with ingredients before, not the same taste and service.
The pizza is fine, albeit a bit doughy and bland. Price is pretty out of control though. $7.50 for a slice of cheese. Cant justify going here unless I’m in a pinch. Places like Angel City and Larocca's are just so much better overall
won’t be returning here after decades of being an avid customer. was literally on my way for a slice when my boyfriend noticed a new review. the news of menu and quality change is extremely saddening. sorry to see such a wonderful longstanding classic ruined by LA once again
I ordered a slice of pizza. I sat there while the owner and his employee talked for 20 minutes in front of me listening to this owners life story. 20 minutes later someone asked if my flight put in the oven. They looked at each other like they never of pizza before I said I knew you guys didn't put the slice in. They said do you want a slice? I said no keep the money and then the owner cursed me out on the way out. Avoid that all costs.
The salad pizza was awful. The service remains great, the atmosphere not so much but since the new ownership the salad pizza has gone from a 5 to a 1. This restaurant has been unchanged for decades and now it’s been ruined. Sad 🥺☹️
I’ve been coming here for 11 years. Recently paid $15 for two plain cheese slices and experienced a noticeable drop in quality. The texture, structure, and flavor did not reflect the standard this place built its reputation on. After seeing the note inviting direct customer feedback, I reached out. While Jay responded professionally, the reply felt more like a defense of the new direction than a real acknowledgment of the quality concerns raised. It gave the impression that the path forward is set, regardless of long time customer experience. For perspective, this visit felt below even basic chain level execution, which is disappointing considering the legacy and price point. The previous standard here was far above that.
This. Place. Is awful now. I used to drive an hour just to grab a bbq slice. The slices are smaller. The sauce and ingredients are dry. No more avocado. Pizza crust doesn't have the bagel magic anymore. Don't waste your time.
I’ve been coming here for over 20 years, and it honestly hurts to say this: the new owner completely destroyed the soul of this legendary pizza spot. What used to be a true LA classic now feels like a cheap imitation of itself. Smaller slices, higher prices, fewer ingredients and replacing avocado with cucumber is straight-up criminal. The salad pizza used to be iconic. Now it’s just a shadow of what it was. This isn’t “updating” , it’s gutting everything that made the place special. Pure greed, no heart. They even stripped away the decorations and the good vibes that made the walls feel alive. The atmosphere is gone. The magic is gone. The only bright spots left are Max, Constantine, and the vatos, the real ones who still bring some humanity to the place! Truly heartbreaking. After more than two decades of loyalty… I’m done. Never coming back.
Everything has changed from missing ingredients to the ownership. The cheese , the dough the marinara tastes like straight up tomato sauce. The bbq pizza missing cilantro. We used to be regulars and make the drive to get their pies but not anymore it’s a sad day. They removed most of the menu and it literally tastes like cardboard so disappointing how downhill it’s come so fast.
We have been coming here for the salad pizza with avocado for the past five years and love every bit of it. But today, for New Year's lunch we thought we would have it again. I called my order of an extra large salad pizza with sesame crust in at 11:00 am, just as they opened. There was no mention of a recipe change nor any forwarding on their menu. By the time we arrived home, half an hour later, and by the time the guests arrived, another half an hour later.........SUPRISE! NO avocado!!! For $50.43 to have salad tossed onto a crust was ridiculous! I called the restaurant twice. The first time, the clerk indicated that he mentioned the change, NOT TO MY KNOWLEDGE! The second time that I called, all the man could do is apologize!
Really disappointed with this place under the new management. I drove nearly 25 miles because this USED TO BE a great spot. Their posted hours say they’re open until 11pm, and I arrived two hours before closing. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt unwelcoming. No smile, no greeting, no effort to assist. Just a “this is what’s left” I had to ask if they were closing because I was confused. That’s when I was told that “new management/owners” have staff close the pizzeria as soon at it slows down, regardless of posted hours. When I mentioned how misleading and inconvenient that is, I got a shrug and was told “the hours online are wrong.” No apology. No acknowledgment. No basic courtesy. It genuinely felt like i was a nuisance for being there. There was zero hospitality, enthusiasm, or neighborhood warmth, just an uncomfortable, dismissive interaction. Sadly, that attitude perfectly reflects what the new ownership has done to the place. It feels like the business was bought as an investment, not a passion project. Instead of preserving what made Abbott Pizza special, it now feels like everything is being run off a spreadsheet: fewer menu options, removed favorites, and a vibe that’s corporate, tired, and uninspired. Culture gone. Soul gone. Magic gone. They’ve already removed so many pizzas that gave this place character, including the signature items that people actually came here for. When you strip down the menu and cheapen the experience, you lose the heart of the place. For contrast: I walked into another nearby pizzeria right afterward and was warmly greeted, treated kindly, and helped immediately. Same night, same situation, completely different experience. That alone says everything about how far and fast Abbott Pizza Company has declined. Really disappointing, not just as a one-time experience, but because it genuinely feels like the heart of this place is gone under the new management.
