I'm giving this particular Burger King in Lakeport CA. A five star for having the quickest, and most affordable, and great tasting, ice cream around the lake. It's never a wait in a line, or be shocked by how much two one scoop ice creams can cost. It's in and out and on yr way, and on a hot summer afternoon it's the only stop I'll make for ice cream. You can keep the lines!
The other night started with a nightmare at McDonalds, rude, poor English, no menus, walked out, grateful I found Burger King next door Had a guy named Armondo, excellent service, great manager, asked for a double beef Wopper, with cheese, no tomato’s, not only was my burger perfect, my onion rings were fresh and hot as well The property was immaculate, feeling comfortable in what I was receiving Owners get Kudos fon hiring Armondo, as a manager, will stop regularly when I’m in town Thanks again Burger King
Burger King is my favorite chain This was by far my best experience The service was polite fast and the food was hot the best fries I've had in years everything was perfect clean and like I said really fast service Glad I stopped there today live stars
It almost feels weird to give such a high rating but this place has always been good to me. I usually show up later in the evening. People don't always seem to be in the best moods but that late I fully expect it. They still always get my order right and are timely.
The Doctors and the staff are wonderful. Everything is welcoming and quiet. I love the service and I love my doctor visits. This is a great place to get the help you need.
One of the best Burger King's I've had. They didn't put a bucket of sauce on my Whopper. Most Burger King's I've eaten at put on too much sauce, where I have to bring it back, so they can make me a Whopper with less sauce. This is the first time in months that I haven't had to do that.
I had it my way. If you're gonna eat fast food, BK is the one to get. The service here was fast and friendly. No big screens to wade thru. I could speak to a real person and make sure I got what I wanted.

I saw my order go to drive through and had to wait for staff to remake my order. I'm not upset it was a simple mistake on their end.
Service depends on who happens to be working it seems. Or maybe it's just luck if you happen to get everything fresh, fast & correct. However, they're perfectly located near the other fast foods, i.e., McDonald's-Taco Bell & KFC. We choose Buger King over the other fast food burger joint...(mcdonalds) cuz we usually get all our food in the drive thru. I'd reccomend going inside to order, it's faster, better service & easier to fix their mess ups. But the location is nice, it's fairly clean, restrooms are decent. Just try to avoid after work time- you'll never get out!!
The food is usually fresh and quick drive through service. The only exception is when you go close to closing especially on the weekend. Slow service, long drive through line, cold food. Also when closing I'm sure it's against food standards to be touching the mop bucket and then scoop up fries and put food in a bag🙄
My son and I went on a drive to Lakeport to look at cars. I going there to buy my new car. I. No wait in drive thru, no wait in side. The staff was one up front, one in drive thru. No one was bagging anyone's food. We sat and then we sat some more. Kid you not, it took 9 1/2 mins. That's long time . Then the topper...... Fries were 🥶 cold. Burger King you disappointed me. .
I love this place. But it seems to be falling apart. We had to order at the window and wait at the window for the food due to the speaker not working. Everywhere else lets you eat inside now I don't understand why they don't let you eat inside. The food is good but they put way too much mayonnaise on the burgers. I keep forgetting to tell them light mayonnaise but I shouldnt have to.

I enjoyed the deals they were giving at the local Burger King in my area but don't see them much anymore so don't visit that often enjoyed it though love the 2 for deals and the large menus you could get for real cheap five bucks you know things like that maybe six now prices are going through the roof and fast food and I don't care to eat there much anymore
Do not get me wrong. I like burger king a lot, a very nice fast food service. Perhaps a little too fast for most of the time I did not get my full order and when I try to call back I don't get an answer. Definitely makes me more aware to check everything in the bag before I drive off.
This is the 3rd time staff messed up my order. Tonight they gave us Hershey Sundae pie. We ordered Apple pie!! Don't like the sundae pie at all. The day staff, before 5pm are great-no mistakes. The evening staff, not so much. I will keep going back but will check my bag before leaving.

Ate there yesterday, only two other people in dining area, not one table clean! Was like that last time too! Prices went up, they charge extra for dipping sauce and clearly have lazy employees!!
If you are on your lunch break (noon) they are really busy,at least the drive thru. If you go in, you might not get back to work. As far as the food, it's Burger King, still better than Carl's Jr in Clearlake. And so is the service 😀

The biggest issue is the presentation of the burger, it commonly ‘thrown together’ with odd ends of tomato and lettuce falling off the side. There IS a way to build a burger so it stays together, and these often look like they were built, and then pressed downward for some reason. Overall atmosphere is decent, clean most of the time, and they almost always have seats available. They have decent sized restrooms and locks which work (which isn’t always the case). I will be back when lunch is needed, however it would be nice to have it appear that some care went into the creation of their burgers.

The drive-through speaker has been broken for weeks. It makes it a very slow ordering process. The food has been good, but having to wait for 30 minutes or more to place your order will keep a lot of people going somewhere else.

Everyone else is open except for this place. They have a huge lock on the door so you can't go in. You can only go through the drive thru which is poorly placed. You can't get out of the parking lot easily. Long wait just to move forward in line. Didn't even get food because it was going to be such a long wait.
Dont go to after like 1000 at night. They shut the grill down early, so forget about freshness. The service people are nice. Alyssa is great. I'd give 5 stars for her service. But not having even halfway fresh burgers is a huge draw back. 4 stars for day shift, 1 for closing

Their only cook had walked out and I sat at the drive thru forever for nothing. This is NOT the regular staff's fault. They were ultra sweet and apologetic and I felt so bad for them. The management and corporate leaders on the other hand are scum pure and simple. Workers don't just walk out because they're happy (okay maybe if they win the lottery or are having a baby) they walk out because of abusive treatment. This place needs to get itself together. On the plus side it saved me some calories I did not need. This location on the few times I've visited in recent history has improved a bit. I haven't been given old dessicated food or fries so salty they seemingly embalm my guts so that is a plus. Keep that up! I hope for everyone's sake that this location gets new management and they get back to doing things right for the sake of their employees' sanity.

I went to Lakeport Burger King when I was working ordered a Burger NO cheese got back to work unable to go back there was cheese on my Burger,mabey if people were working not flirting g with each other my order would have been right.
They forgot a portion of my order, I tried to call them but apparently they are too busy to pick up the phone but not enough to stand there and hang up after the first ring over and over again.
Sad establishment. Slow service. The personnel was discussing how they forgot to give the fries to a drive-throu customer rather taking my order. When finally my presence was aknowlwedged, I ordered a value menu burger with bacon and couldn't find any trace of it in my meal...
Extremely slow drive through, staff will only take two cars at a time. They are now requiring a mask while your in your car. Inept management and poor service. With all the other options around there choose one of those and you'll be happier.

Most unclean and unprofessional run BurgerKing in the Nation that I've been to. Diffently calling Burgerking corporation and informing them about the rude Hispanic employee the they have in the Lakeport Burgerking!!! Hispanic woman coughed on my order without her mask on while handing my food through drive up window. She was very rude with me and when I asked if she was sick told me rudely to mind my own business. Never will I return to that Burgerking business in Lakeport ever... very unprofessional business practices! Just read all the terrible reviews!
Went here today and got 4 number sevens for my family and the mayo was old and fries under cooked. I've never had a bad experience here before it's actually been a very good place so today was actually very horrible I've been trying to call you guys on your phone but there is no answer it rings and rings. I have my receipt and I would like a refund IAM sure who ever did the hamburgers knew that the mayonnaise was old and that is not ok
This is the worst Burger King I’ve ever been to especially at night tonight they had 5 employees with no line and legit two small order 45 mins in line and still nothing them just standing around doing nothing. They should just close at night like they used to. The owner should really get in there and see what’s really going on.
Nice employees, but 2 people who ate the onion rings got food poisoning. EDIT!!! I’ve gone back and have not got the items I ordered, and the sprite taste like mold!!! I’m never going back to this place!!!
A loyal customer here, or I though I was, who uses the rewards system, and I have l my PayPal and a gift card linked to my account. However, I've encountered a recurring and deeply frustrating issue. Every time I visit this particular location, the mobile app just inexplicably stops working, every single time a certain manager is there. The app functions perfectly fine right up until I step foot into the store and begin ordering. Then, without a beat, it becomes "turned off" or otherwise unusable. This has happened a handful of times now, and I'm honestly sick of it. I strongly suspect the manager at this location is intentionally disabling the app when my presents if known. While I can't definitively prove it, the timing is far too coincidental. Beyond coincidental. This suspicion stems from a previous unpleasant encounter with her. On one occasion, she spoke to me in a very condescending manner, implying I was trying to misuse the app by attempting to apply two codes. I tried to explain that one code was for tracking the purchase to my account and the second was for an offer. It turns out, the offer code automatically links the purchase to the account, which I had no way of knowing at the time and she never mentioned that. It was I that ended up finding out myself. Ever since that interaction, the manager's attitude towards me has been consistently high-handed. It feels incredibly petty that the mobile app only seems to malfunction at this specific location when she's present. If she were a competent manager, she would understand the app's limitations and know that it wouldn't even allow the kind of "misuse" she accused me of. The least she could have done was give me the benefit of the doubt instead of making unfounded assumptions and making feel uncomfortable. It the reason why I stopped going to this location. Frankly, I felt awful. All I wanted was some food, and to be treated with such disdain was a terrible experience. What's crazy is that I've noticed that when this manager isn't there, the app works perfectly fine. This further solidifies my belief that her actions are deliberate and personally targeted. This repeated pattern of app malfunction and the manager's behavior has made my visits incredibly unpleasant. I hope you'll investigate this matter thoroughly. This kind of petty behavior is unacceptable and reflects poorly on your brand.

At 7pm 1/12 Husband ordered Whooper and small fries, a Bacon king and larger fries, a small and large drinks at driveup window. Was given the drinks and a bag. Got home to find bag only had whooper and small fries. Drive to go back too far. We were ripped off by this restaurant, and question if we will return. Avoid this place.
Ordered our food in the drive thru, it wasn't a large order or anything, was asked to wait in the parking lot for a few minutes. Turned into almost a half hour wait. The manager was nice about it but when we got home there was a hair in my burger and my little brother's fries. Absolutely disgusting. Will never go back there.

Sat in the drive thru for almost 30 minutes and it turns out that it was closed but there was an auto prompt over the drive thru, when you drive up that says " I'll be with you shortly".... Unbelievable.... I'd leave negative stars if I could.
One star for management. 5 stars for the employees. We frequent this restaurant multiple times a week. Between the lobby being closed, the broken order speaker, broken headsets, and paper signs displayed everywhere, the smiling employees always seem to deliver the best meal they possibly can. Even despite soaring temperatures, and literal HEAT pouring out of the drive thru window from the long time broken air conditioning, the wonderful staff there make it a decent experience and deserve the highlight for keeping this franchise open. Hard times or not, management should be ashamed of its general lack of upkeep and maintenance. Hope to see improvement soon.
I have come to the Burger King in Lakport on several occasions and either they run out of the nugget fries for lunch or are closed early. So disappointing especially when I drive 30mins.
Arrived at drive through at 5:55. There was a sign saying order at window. We sat in line for 10 minutes and no movement. When the car in front of us pulled out of line and left, we followed. The car that was at the window when we arrived was still there. I understand about places not having enough staff, but there must have been a better way to handle the flow of business.
Up until 2025 this place was managed really well! It often shocked me that going from ordering to pick up often took less than 5 minutes. Now, the same process starts at 15 minutes. There can be no cars at the pickup window and a line of cars just waiting to order. This is changed dramatically since last year when both food and service was excellent. I was here in January this year. Two of those times they had no burgers. This last time when I ordered a value fry I was told they don't have value fries until I insisted that it was on the order board right in front of me. Whatever happened to this place? Management used to be stupendous! Now it is run like nobody knows what their job is. This is a management issue because the food is still very good.
The only reason I get a mobile order is some employees can see exactly what I want. I asked for no lettuce and extra ketchup and barbecue sauce on my chicken sandwich and I got no sauces and a whole bunch of lettuce. Imagine if I was allergic? The employees here need to be more attentive and pay attention to words on a screen. Your job isn't that hard I promise you. Edit 9/29/25- I came again to order 3 chicken sandwiches, 2 how they come and 1 without lettuce and with sauces, need less to say they made all of them the same even though I hate lettuce. How hard is it to read letters on a screen? I literally placed a mobile order so you can't mess it up but Lakeport Burger King has incompetent workers.
I ordered a bacon cheese and egg croissant I asked for well done at the window the person at the window said she would let the cook know she would order she told the cook well done I get to my office the bacon raw!!!!! I have always asked for well done bacon because it is always raw but according to somebody that answered the phone at Burger King in Lakeport said that the bacon is precooked and there's no way that they can ever make it well done. I let her know that that's not correct because I always get the bacon from their well done because it's always raw and she told me that I was mistaken she became very condescending and very disrespectful. Complete garbage. My daughter wanted chicken fries so we decided to give it a try. Husbands Texas whopper was cold, sons bbq bacon and cheese whopper was cold and had not bbq sauce or bacon. Ordered 12 chicken fry box and it have 6 1/2 chicken fries that tasted like they were made the day prior. Onion rings were okay. The only thing worth a damn was the cheesy tots. I tried to call but no answer so I guess I’ll be going on tomorrow.
