Everything we ate was incredible. Loved the Chicken Milanese and the honey bourbon salmon. It was quite cold and they went out of their way to bring over a heater to make sure we were comfortable. Carson S was our server and i am not exaggerating when i say it was the best service we’ve experienced since moving to Florida in 2022. He was friendly, efficient, and gave excellent recommendations. He also brought us dessert he. He heart it was our first time visiting. Thank you! We will be back.

I've eaten at Libby's 3 times now & we have immensely enjoyed our meals. I love that they give you real whipped butter instead of butter pats & their bread is sooo good! We have always sat outside & I like that they have heaters deployed for when it's cold. The menu is pretty big with a lot of options & they have the best truffle fries! Salads are very large & for Thanksgiving, my husband really liked the turkey plate - the turkey was very tender & had a good gravy. Plenty of parking - go check it out!

A great place for dinner. I ordered the avocado egg rolls as a starter and the honey bourbon salmon as a main course. It was a very good choice. I recommend it. The service was also commendable. Enjoy your meal!

Amazing food! Brussel sprouts, brunch burger, Cuban sandwich, and chocolate cake. Everything was perfect. The ambiance was very inviting and we loved the decor. Plenty of parking and seating. We definitely found a new favorite restaurant! Our server Dalia provided grade A customer service that should be mirrored across the board in the food industry. Highly recommend dining here!

Libby’s Lakewood Ranch is a must-visit! We had an outstanding experience — the food was delicious, the drinks were spot-on, and the atmosphere was exactly what you want for a night out in Lakewood Ranch. Service was exceptional from start to finish; the staff was friendly, attentive, and made the whole evening feel special. If you’re looking for great food, great vibes, and top-notch service, Libby’s is the place to go!

My boyfriend and I went to Libby’s last night for the first time, and were highly impressed! We ordered a Texas Paloma, Dr Pepper Ribs, Orange Chicken, Jalapeño Mac and Cheese. Wow, we would defintely recommend the Ribs and Orange chicken for a tasty and filling meal. Our server Carlos was knowledgeable and smiley and lovely. He hooked us up with a ridiculously delicious slice of key lime pie cheesecake for our first time dining at the restaurant. Well done Libby’s

We made a reservation but arrived early and they quickly seated us, our server was polite, helpful and informed. He took his time to take our order and was very attentive. The food is a bit pricey and not a huge selection but it was packed with good choices and the food was delicious. I had the chicken salad sandwich with beacon and a side salad. The decor was nice and elegant (they have an outside area. It was my first time here and I have no complaints- except for our steak not coming medium and was more like medium well. But all good.

We had a wonderful experience! It was our first time. Our waiter Larry was so knowledgeable about the menu that he made it easy for us to order! We had Avocado Eggrolls and the Crispy Blue Crab & Shrimp appetizers. We had the Chicken Carbonara and the Dr Pepper Ribs with Truffle Fries and Jalapeño Mac & Cheese. When we thought we couldn’t possibly eat another bite they brought out their warm Cookie Sundae for Dessert! Everything was absolutely delicious! Their manager continued to check on us, I believe his name was Matthew, he was incredibly kind. Thank you for the hospitable service we received from the moment we entered until the moment we left.

Enjoyed our dining experience at Libby’s! They have two locations and we decided to visit this one since it was closer to our house. It wasn’t busy (we had made a reservation just in case) and we were seated promptly. Our server was very friendly and attentive during the entire meal. We visited for lunch/brunch, and ordered several different items. We started with a French onion soup and the avocado rolls. Both were delicious! For entrees, we tried the brunch burger, shrimp scampi pasta and half rack of ribs. We didn’t have complaints about any of the dishes at all! For dessert, we went with the strawberry shortcake. Admittedly, we weren’t as big of a fan since the cake was actually a biscuit, but it was still pretty good. Overall, we had an excellent experience. We will definitely be back again!

We started with the Pub Pretzels. The vegan garlic aioli is delicious. Our daughter had a Chicken Salad Sandwich with fries both were great and the fries were nice and crispy. I had the Parker House Rolls French Toast with Berries and Crème with a side of bacon. This is a new menu item and is very good. Having the Parker House Rolls instead of bread made it a lighter dish. I still couldn’t eat it all and finished it the following day. My husband had the scrambled eggs with breakfast potatoes, bacon and toast. This particular meal did not arrive hot enough the butter did not melt on the toast. The service was good though the food took awhile to be served. I did order a Bloody Mary with just tomato juice. Elaina our waitress said she would order it without spices. The drink however did arrive spicy. I added stevia and lots of ice and drank it slowly. All in all a fun anniversary brunch with our daughter.

Libby’s has a Sarasota memorial happy hour menu for nursing staff and first responders. My wife and I coworkers told us about this place and the happy hour menu for good food and good drinks. The food was spectacular and flavorful for being our first time. I got a chicken sandwich and Mac and cheese balls with a cucumber basil martini. My wife got the fish and chips and the food was good portioned and definitely filling. Our waiter was a delight as well and we had a spectacular first time. Will be back

We stopped by Libby’s for dinner and were pleasantly surprised by not only their dish options but also their service! The menu offered many options but not in a suspicious way like Cheesecake Factory does. Our waitress, Elysia, was so kind and welcoming during our visit. We very much appreciated her attention to my partners dairy allergy. If you get her as your waitress you are in good hands! I could also say the same for the rest of the front staff who were equally as welcoming and kind. Tried the Tuna Tamaki and definitely recommend as an app for 2-3 people!

Great spot! We ordered the pretzel bites, meatballs, ribs, salmon, brasserie burger, and caccio Pepe with steak added on. We were a little shocked how great everything was! We’ve come here twice now and the meatballs, salmon, and caccio Pepe have never disappointed! The outdoor atmosphere is nothing to write home about. You’re just staring at a parking lot and bright lights from cars. We had to sit outside because we had our dogs with us, so I’m unsure how the inside is.

My husband and I rarely go out to eat, but we decided on Libby’s for an early valentine dinner. Omg we forgot how amazing the food is here!!! I highly recommend the avocado egg rolls. Our server, Cameron gave us such impeccable service. I haven’t received service like this in a long time. Libby’s please don’t run out of the caipirinha next time 😏

Went to this gem of a restaurant, by our home, and it was an incredible experience. Dalia, our waitress, complimented our celebration, as she was very friendly and hospitable. As far as the food, it was absolutely delicious. By far, one of the best places to dine in Lakewood Ranch. We can’t wait to come back!

Decided to try somewhere new and based on reviews, we decided this was our next endeavor. We couldnt get a table since reservations made a full house.....thats on us since we didnt know. We were able to sit at the bar and it was almost like eating outside for us since we were on the end. We ordered drinks and appetizers. The drinks were flavorful and delicious! And the apps were gone in minutes. We will definately be back....but next time we will reserve a table. Prices were reasonable and staff friendly. 4/30/21.... went back for a second visit for dinner. Ordered a few martinis and eggroll app to start. The egg rolls were good, but, they were really hot. We ordered the ribs...which were fall off the bone delicious. I ordered the. chicken dinner and it was average..... met the manager and provided some feedback and he was extremely appreciative. He even gave us a voucher for a chicken dinner for our next visit, having every intention to address issues. Nice gesture. Nice outdoor seating. 4/20/25 Haven't been here in 4 years but what a fantastic experience. From the app, to the meals, to the cocktails, and to the service....everything was spot on.

All dishes we ordered were really good. Kids also loved their kids menus. It was a little crowded on a weekend but the wait was surprisingly not that bad on a Sunday lunch. The host and our waitress were really great. This is definitely a quality lunch.

This was our first time here even though we live so close! We don’t know what we were missing! Everything was delicious! My son ordered the rack of ribs and the meat slid off the bones beautifully! The cocktails were great and the BREAD!!!!!!! WITH HONEY BUTTER IS TO DIE FOR!! Everyone’s food at tables should us looked delicious so we already know what we want to come back and try. Elysia our server was great! We will be back soon! 💓

This was my first time here and I will definitely be back. Mike took wonderful care of us, made great recommendations and the service was the best I’ve had at a restaurant in a really long time. Would highly recommend the Brussel sprout appetizer!

Update (01/23/22) The GM Matt was very kind as we sat on the patio outside( it was chilly) offered us both a cup of coffee while we waited. Loved the fact that he came outside to check on us. So far Dylan is a good server, quickly brought us our waters and took our order, after he put in our order he came back to check on us and see if we wanted any cocktails. So far so good. Now will the food be as good as Kyle's customer service? The food looks alot better. So this time we got the brunch burger(absolutely delicious and juicy) the fries( the parm fries are so 👌 especially if you pair it with there hollandaise...divine) perfectly crisp. Also the hollandaise was perfect it wasn't like butter this time. The French toast: smores(not enough marshmallow but once they brought some more it was absolutely delicious) bananas foster(this is not your traditional foster it's more like banana de Leche but that's not a bad thing cause it's still delicious). And then finally the American breakfast eggs cooked correctly this time our server was thoughtful and brought jelly and butter with the English muffin. And man are those potato cakes delicious. The fruit needs to be trimmed a little better there was some rind still on the watermelon. They experience overall was an Astounding A+. Well done to Matt and his team they step up to the plate and hit home run this time can't wait to try those tri-tip egg rolls. Me and my partner order the American breakfast (her eggs were raw), smores French toast(not enough marshmallow spread), Banana fosters French toast (no Carmel sauce), and finally the shrimp and crab Benedict ( which the hollandaise was broken and runny as well as rubber shrimp. But the crab and eggs were cooked to perfection.) I don't know if we just had a one off experience but maybe lunch is better. Also the fruit was so sweet and delicious. Kyle the bartender and management saved this experience not only handling this professionally but offering to fix the experience swiftly.

Wonderful food, great location, competent and friendly service. I had a tasty grilled salmon, which while good, was unremarkable. The mashed potatoes and spinach sides were absolutely delicious, however. The tuna appetizer was a wonderful mix of crisp wonton pieces, fish and avocado. The whiskey sour was attractive but not my thing, whereas the waitress suggested a local IPA (Caloosa?) which was fantastic, fruity, and complemented the entree. The wife had a cauliflower 'steak,' which was fun, though she said she wished it were slightly more cooked. The strawberry shortcake was lovely; a shortcake split and stuffed with vanilla ice cream, served with macerated strawberries. Worthwhile, which for me is saying a lot (not a big dessert person).

REDEMPTION: I'm glad to see that our last experience was a one off. We were 30 minutes early and just waiting outside on the couch when the manager, Matt, popped out to check on us and offer us coffee. The server, Dillon was very observant in anticipating our needs. The food was of much higher quality than our last visit. Overall an exceptionally different experience. I'm glad to update my review to a more positive perspective. Although, it is still my opinion that the balance of flavors in the s'mores French Toast needs adjusting. Customer Experience: First the hostess tried to seat us at a table at which we would be constantly smacked in the face by the cloth divider with no ties. I suggested a different table to which she went inside for approval. Once seated, Allie (not sure on spelling, apologies) arrived to take our drink orders during which we also placed our menu orders. The time to arrival seemed a tad long particularly considering we were the first customers with one other sweet elderly couple. I specified that we would like our food served upon prep. Despite this apparently a simple side of fruit takes a minimum of 30 minutes to prepare and serve. After our food arrived, there was no check in to confirm food was to order and satisfactory. We waited until finally a light in the dark arrived, Kyle, the savior of this experience at least in customer service. He was genuinely concerned about our feedback, listened patiently and acted accordingly. He apologized on behalf on the restaurant and sent the manager to our table promptly. The manager Rashad (again apologies on spelling) listened to our feedback, then brought one of the sous chefs to listen to our complaints as well. After we conveyed our disappointment again, Rashad reiterated Kyle's initial response, apologizing and informing us this was not indicative of their standards. He took 50% off our bill and provided us a $25 gift card, requesting that we return again to experience a hopefully better display of their positively reviewed food and exceptional customer experience. He mentioned upon our return he would appreciate if we request him by name so he monitor or experience more closely which we intend to do. So here's to the possibility of redemption and hopefully another much more positive review and experience. Bananas Foster French Toast: laughable! 4 half slices, literally 6 thin slices of banana, drizzled with canned milk. Completely missing the fosters. No caramel. No flavor. S'mores French Toast: Basically Nutella spread between two pieces of bread, the marshmallow must've been undercover because I only caught a rare glimpse of it and nare a taste. Good concept needs better execution in balance of flavors. Blue Crab & Shrimp Benedict: Not actually a Benedict. Hollandaise was so broken it appeared identical to melted butter. The shrimp perfect...as my next set of tires. Pure rubber. The crab cake PHENOMENAL. Solid base to improve upon. All American Breakfast: Over easy eggs were raw and yes the yolks SHOULD be but not the whites. Potato cakes were excellent perfect balance between exterior crunch and moistness. Fruit was surprisingly ripe, well prepped and tasty unlike my usual experience with restaurant fruit sides. The toast was served unbuttered with no options for such provided. The grill needed cleaning as the toast acquired a bitter charcoal flavor along the grill marks. While we were served I noticed this and requested some butter/jam options, Allie returned with a silver tin with what appeared to be jelly and plopped it on the table with no explanation. I was able to derive that it was strawberry scraped from a jar based on the appearance. Key Lime Pie: provided free of charge by the sous chef. Can't really speak to this as I did not partake but according to the other half of the equation: More like cheesecake but very tasty. He wasn't a fan of the crust but much can't be said about that since he's not a fan of nuts which it contained.

We have here twice always good service and quality food. A little bit on the higher side as far as price goes but worth it for sure.

Great food! Appetizers were AMAZING! The pretzels were great with the cheese! The avocado egg rolls, and Mac n cheese bites were out of this WORLD!!! Elysia is a great server who was quick, attentive, and sweet!

We ate at Libbys at Lakewood Ranch. The food was excellent. We started with two appetizers. The first was the avocado roll. The wrapper was crispy on the outside and pure silky heaven on the inside. The avocado was mixed with sun dried tomato and red onion to add a little color and an abundance of cilantro to add to the flavor. The Dynamite Shrimp were cooked to perfection. The tail were removed, which to me is a plus, were deep fried in a light tampura batter with a spicy & sweet sambai aioli sauce scattered on the plate. The sauce was an added plus to the tender shrimp. The Krabby Patty was delicious. The Patty was crispy on the outside and loaded with sweet blue crab and local gulf shrimp. It was served on a fresh sesame brioche with lettuce, tomato, and the sweet and spicy sambal aioli sauce. The house slaw was sweet with little mayonnaise and the fries were light and airy. The Fish and Chips transported me back to European pubs. The lightly battered chilean sea bass was airy and so sinfully flavored and flaky. The house slaw was a hit because it was a little zesty with very little mayonnaise. The tartar sauce was good, complimenting the dish. Unfortunately, we had no room for dessert. Chris, our server, had a tremendous amount of tables to service but did a great job. We will be returning. Kudos to the management of this restaurant.

We have been needing some new restaurants out our way. Libby’s did an excellent job on the decor and outdoor seating area which has been useful since Covid-19. It has a really nice vibe inside. It’s very well staffed and the menu is small but had many good choices on it. Mitch was our server and made all the suggestions for our meal and he provided excellent service. Even the manager, Tony, stopped by our table.

I ordered the orange chicken and it was absolutely phenomenal. It was like eating clouds of meat. It melted in my mouth and the portion was huge, I was able to bring some home for the next day. The staff is all very friendly.

The best food we’ve had in Florida. Everything was perfect, from the drinks and apps to the main, no place is better. The server, male bartender, knew everything and was incredibly kind. Don’t second guess it, go here!

Libby’s is a wonderful spot that combines delicious food, friendly service, and a warm atmosphere. The menu offers a great variety, and everything I’ve tried has been fresh and full of flavor. The staff is welcoming and attentive, making you feel comfortable the moment you walk in. The atmosphere is relaxed yet inviting—perfect for a casual meal or a night out with friends and family. My friend and I had a great dinner here! Rob was our server and was very friendly and made great recommendations! We loved our meals. The manager Mike also stopped by our table and visited with us for a while. Great hospitality and we will be back for the bread pudding!

Great contemporary menu. We had salmon toast as an appie - delicious crusty base with smoked salmon on top. The menu choices had varied selections, all of which looked good. My Thai chicken noodles with crisp vegetables in peanut sauce was amazing - big pieces of chicken! My friend had chicken Milanese which also looked great. The server was polite and attentive. No reservations, but we were seated immediately. Prices were very reasonable.

Had a great time at Libby’s for a friend’s get together dinner. Service was fantastic, specifically our server Hannah. She provided great recommendations and was spot on with all her recommendations including the Cuban sandwich with delicious crispy fries, Santa Fe salad was fantastic and catch of the day was phenomenal! Will continue to provide business and recommend to all friends and family.

My sister and I had a delightful dinner yesterday evening at Libby’s! The hostess was very sweet and gave us options for seating. Our server was wonderful, attentive and kind. My sister had sliders and I had the fish and chips. Both were exactly what we were looking for on this particular evening. Will definitely be back!

Outstanding Experience at Libby’s! Libby’s in Lakewood Ranch, is hands-down one of the best dining spots in the area! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm, modern, and invi ng. The staff wasincredibly friendly and a en ve without ever being overbearing. The food was absolutely phenomenal — every dish was fresh, beau fully presented, and full of flavor. The meatballs we shared as an appetizer were phenomenal. The Honey Bourbon Salmon I had, and the Dr. Pepper Ribs. my wife had were perfectly cooked! The cocktails were top-notch. Our Server Kirsten at Libby’s, was very a en ve to our needs and takes real pride in what she does. Whether you’re stopping by for brunch, happy hour, or a nice dinner out, Libby’s never disappoints. It’s the perfect mix of upscale and relaxed — a true gem in Lakewood Ranch. Highlyrecommend to anyone looking for great food, great service, and a great vibe!

This dinner was a girls’night out with a great friend. They seated us right away. I didn’t prefer where we were seated as it was a 2 person half booth that is so close to the next table that you can hear all of the conversation of your neighbors. It was busy for a Thursday evening so the noise level also made it more difficult to have a good conversation. Our server was attentive and shared the specials and gave us time to order. The food was beautifully presented and was flavorful. We both had the chicken Milanese with arugula salad on it with a bed of rice. They don’t rush you there and that was nice and the prices are comparable. It was a nice evening.

A
Ana Machado

Libby’s at Lakewood Ranch is good. I had the wedge salad which was HUGE!!! Personally proportions are important and less is usually more. Then I had the chicken Milanese which was decent as well. We went for happy hour and the drinks were $7 bucks a pop which I thought was nice. Opted out for dessert as I was stuffed. Side note there was a dead fruit fly on the lime in my drink. I normally prefer not to have protein in my beverage so I just pulled it out and kept it rolling. 😂

In a place with endless strip malls and chain restaurants, Libby’s is a unique gem. As soon as you walk in, you immediately feel the warm atmosphere and friendly vibe. The staff is very accommodating, and I’d like to give praise to Grace, our server. What a special, caring person who took the time to make sure we had everything we needed, and even sat with us for a fun chat. It made our evening so enjoyable, and combined with fresh, yummy food, it was a lovely evening. Thanks, Grace!!!!

The food was good. We had a burger and Cuban at 2:30 on a Wednesday. The fries were served luke warm with the Cuban, but were heated on request. The upkeep and ambience were not great. There was a lot of crap on the floor, the place was a little beat up, and the furniture seemed sub par. We ordered a smoked Manhattan and canceled the order after it had not arrived in 15 minutes. Getting our server's attention was a bit of a challenge

C
Courtnie Clemens

Loud and crowded. Our server Elena was sweet and friendly. The pretzels with cheese was pretty good. My dad enjoyed the pulled pork sandwich. The chicken club was decent, they were able to handle my moms food allergies. They brought me the wrong side but quickly fixed it. I didn’t particularly enjoy my impossible burger, it was dry and the toppings were kinda non existent (lettuce/tomato).

This review is for the Lorraine Road location: Average food. Menu not extensive enough for our taste. Atmosphere okay, comfortable seating. Excellent staff, servers and host/hostess. Food not really worth the price.

M

Nice atmosphere. Service was good. We both had the catch of the day and failed to ask for the price. No bread was served prior to the meal or salad. We got Sea Bass which was very good. It seemed like an appetizer to me. It was very good but just didn’t fill. I did not get potatoes with the meal. Got the bill. No drinks, no appetizers or salads. My wife got a coffee. I got an ice tea and a non-alcohol beer $7. The bill was $130 with tip we were out for under $160. The seating was strange also. My wife sat on a bench seat with a divider to her left. The divider did not extend to me. The waiter sat a couple next to me, so some guy was literally sitting a foot from me. He might as well have just sat on my lap. Just no reason for a sitting situation like this. Food was good, limited and expensive. We will not return.

Real disappointed with the fruit selection. Got the breakfast burger not a big fan. Server hospitality was poor.

S

Food was very good, but would probably would only come here again for take out. Customer service was so-so, and the sun was in my eyes despite us asking for another table. This was 5 pm when a number of tables were available. You’d think they could spring for some shades to block the sun. Not a fan of their dine in option.
