Came here to say for Valentine’s Day and had the special they were offering. It was great! Staff was very nice and brought our items as soon as they were hot and ready. The food was good, we definitely over ate on the carbs I love the bread here. I’d never had the pasta here but we got the garlic fettuccine and it was amazing! The plate it was served on was gigantic. Thank you CPK staff for a great night

This is an update to the original review I made a few years ago. This is the best CPK I’ve been to due to the great service and the consistency with how the food is prepared. They have a lot of great team members here. My favorite at the time I first left my review was Vanessa, but she no longer works here—she left shortly after my original review. My new favorite team member is Andres, who primarily works in the bar area as a bartender. He is outstanding, even better than Vanessa was!!! Remembers me, my favorites, and is always friendly and provides fast service—along with recommendations when new menu items become available based on what he knows about my likes and dislikes. Other great team members include Emily and Jackie. Apart from the awesome service, the food is also very good and tasty too! CPK has a generous rewards system for those that join the program, which is free. And Costco sells $100 worth of gift cards for $79.99 ($69.99 around Christmas time). The Avocado egg rolls are such a great appetizer here, and the chocolate soufflé and butter cake desserts are also a delicious and sweet way to cap off a meal

Went with a nice sized group for lunch. Service was okay. Ambiance was better. Food quality was better than average. Nice variation of me u selections. Server was not as responsive and attentive at all times but they were satisfactory. Need to anticipate when drinks need to be filled and check on the table periodically. Would like to see the menu changed up in the Spring.

Last minute holiday order. Was pleasantly surprised how easy, quick, and good everything is. Lots of people had the same idea, so it was very busy. The service was great. Very good food. When I asked for a drink holder, he actually offered to carry it for me. Meanwhile they are swamped. 😆 but just saying how helpful and good the service was tonight during the crush of the holiday. And the food is so flavorful and delicious. I am not a big fan of chicken bites, but these have blue cheese flavor baked in. I loved it. The shrimp also were so good and nice quantity. I've never been here before so didn't know about the bread and dipping cups. Also very good. Now I'm a fan and will be back soon. Happy new year 🎉

1st time being here on a slow Tuesday lunch hour. I rarely craved for American food. Got seated right away Ordered the lunch combo Enjoyed the casual dining Jessica was quick, attentive, friendly My sphegetti was a lil dry, wish more sauce was thrown in Not salty-- is good for me Salad was a delight Will be back for the next craving for something different.

Food was delicious! Shout out to the chefs. They never miss. Service was okay. Maybe the waiter was having a stressful day but when working in a service based industry, the show must go on. Maybe crack a smile and make your guests feel welcomed. Our waiter was stone cold. I don’t want to go out and try to have a good dining experience but feel like I’m bothering my wait staff. Make your customers feel like they can come to you if they need anything regarding their service and time there. Just a suggestion.

This was our first time visiting the California Pizza Kitchen in Lakewood, though we've had great experiences at two other locations. ​We arrived during a very busy dinner rush, and the quoted wait time for a table was 25 minutes. We opted to sit at the bar instead, which worked out well for us. ​The drinks and food were delicious—CPK quality was consistent here! The service was a little slow, but that's completely understandable given how packed the restaurant was. ​Overall, it was a positive experience despite the high volume of customers. We enjoyed the food and appreciate having the bar seating option when it's busy.

Revisited: Did I mention before fresh food, fresh made Thai crunch salad, fresh ingredients!! Along with the strawberry shortcake ! Positive dinning experience. Friendly attentive staff, tried the egg rolls and thai crunch salad, delicious and fresh. I went on a sat. dinner time, not packed at all, not a noisy place, quite comfortable place.

Overall a good experience. CPK is located in the Lakewood mall (outdoor entrance). We waited 15 mins to be sat, but walked around the mall while waiting. Service was kind and attentive. There were two of us and we ordered a starter, pizza, and a drink. That was enough food to satisfy us, but not be stuffed. I was surprised how big the portion was for the Dynamite Shrimp and it was good. We enjoyed the pizza as well, not amazing, but good. Bill came to about $50 (tip not included)

I think the price is too high for what they serve. The value just isn't there in my opinion. Our server was great, the wait time was a little long, the food was average, and the price was too high.

On a pretty slow Thursday afternoon it took way too long to get served. Looked like they had plenty of workers so I don't understand the delay. Once we did get served the server was not attentive at all. She seemed as if she couldn't be bothered. The food was good. We had a Spicy Honey Bee Focaccia ( without ham ) which was delicious. Cheese Tomato pizza which was very good. We also had the California Fields Salad and a Watermelon Spritzer which was very good. Ended with the Strawberry Shortcake which we loved.
