Katelyn was absolutely wonderful! She was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. She checked in at the perfect times without ever feeling rushed and gave great recommendations from the menu. Her positive energy really made our dining experience special. We’ll definitely be asking for her again next time!

We had an amazing time, we decided to sit in the bar area because the line was quite long. But they have the full menu along with the happy hour deals to choose from. We got the avocado guacamole made table side and it was so good, plus it was a really interesting process to watch. The margaritas were delicious, the fajitas were to die for and the service was wonderful. Our server was quite pleasant and attentive. The atmosphere was lovely and it was a great place to enjoy and nice meal while enjoying the company I was with. I recommend this place for sure and will most certainly be returning

We were visiting Long Beach for a cruise to Hawaii and we stumbled upon the most delicious Tex Mex restaurant. El Torito has great prices for drinks (happy hour) and food. Their staff were also very patient and courteous.

It had been a very long time since I had eaten at El Torito. One bad experience can set you back. This was a totally different experience. Sergio our server was also the bartender, he made the drinks perfectly, very attentive and straight up a great server as well. The bacon wrapped shrimp and that sweet and spicy sauce amazing! I thought the food was going to be more expensive bit to my surprise it wasn't. The fajitas suprema and the Don margarita matched well together. The rustic look and music were on point. I have paid more money at some places that claim to be authentic and no comparison. The only thing is that the rice needs a little work, other than that everything was PERFECT! They earned a repeat customer and I will be back.

Lakewood location used to be on it for delivery. Unfortunately, a number of our orders keep falling short 😔 Typically it's a missing taco from a combo...no less than 5 times. Now we purchase the Queso & Chips. Received the yummy Queso but didn't receive the chips. Really? Come on...where's the quality control? Is your take out truly always that busy that orders cannot be verified? Not possible that it's only our orders. Please do better already.

Went for late lunch , the food was HORRIBLE ! I ordered the three meat fajita- the steak or chicken has no seasoning, salt or pepper! My rice came absolutely cold, the corn- cornbread was absolutely raw . Others I came with ordered birria tacos, which had no flavor and were dry, and wings half habanero half buffalo….It was not good and the ranch was WATERED DOWN . My other counterpart ordered the combo with enchiladas and tamales, let me just say there was more masa than meat (chicken) and my enchiladas had more oil than meat sauce or tortilla… I ordered a drink that consisted of honey, ginger and lime- they added coffee beans to the top of it , which made it quite….unappetizing. I went to the front desk to ask for a manager/supervisor and file a complaint (Feb 12, 2026 ~5 PM). Before I could explain anything, the manager assumed I was there applying for a job and directed me to the company's website. That was incredibly disrespectful and set the tone immediately. I’m a strict vegetarian. I’ve asked this exact location multiple times whether the rice contains beef/chicken broth, and I keep getting different answers! Last week (Feb 7, 2026 ~5 PM), I asked my waitress (in the bar area) to confirm. She walked away, came back, and said the rice had no meat-based ingredients, so I ate it. Honestly, it didn't seem like she cared enough to check. On my next visit (Feb 12), I asked again and had the server (the bartender) verify with the kitchen. This time, I was told the rice does contain meat broth! So because staff gave me inaccurate information, I unknowingly consumed meat! I’m extremely upset. This is not a small mistake. When someone asks a direct dietary question, guessing is unacceptable! Why doesn't staff know what's on the menu? The inconsistency is constant at this location, and the manager showed very little concern when I reported it.

I don’t normally leave negative reviews. The food was just okay, and our waiter was fine. What really disappointed me was the kids menu situation. I called ahead specifically to ask if I could order the $1 kids meals for all of my kids while only I ordered an adult entrée. I was told yes over the phone. When it came time to pay, the bill was $65. The woman at the front (who appeared to be a manager) explained that the policy is one adult entrée per kids meal. There was no apology or acknowledgment that I had been given incorrect information—just a matter-of-fact explanation. I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was frustrating and handled poorly. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning.

I met a large group of frineds there for Sunday Brunch Buffet. The staff is rude. The buffet area is not organized. There is an area where i guess it's staff only but its not marked. I saw a customer wonder over there and the employee should have walked over and informed the customer its a restricted area. Instead, the employee shouted across the room and waved her hand as if she was herding cattle. Completely unprofessional and inappropriate towards a confused customer. Then, once seated nobody ever came to check on us, dishes piled and I wanted to order a soft drink, I got up and stopped a random waiter. The food quality is decent at best, not worth the price. I would be willing to overlook that if the service was top-tear but it was from from it.

Went in to split a dinner with my wife ordered the burrito Especial shredded beef option from this young guy who was way over his head, the burrito took an unusually long time and when it was brought it was not shredded beef, took so long we sent it back and ordered a side of beans as a dip but even that took a long time. One of the shift managers came in to apologize and try to make thing right but it was a bit too late our hunger passes with chips. This was our only meal for the day. This place is very consistent, the food is good not great but it’s consistently good and nice options to choice from. Dinner is good, lunch is good and the Sunday Brunch is good, great with unlimited mimosas! Jose is a great waiter on the weekends. Chips and salsa are very good you can even order some to go. We haven’t been her for a while but as good as we remember. There is always better and there is always much worse, as I mentioned it’s consistently good. Yes I recommend this place
