Wonderful service and food was deliciously prepared.
Fantastic food and wonderful atmosphere. Highly recommend!
Tasty food! Enjoyed the Thai omelette with sausage, Mama's fried rice, satay flank steak, drunken noodles and green curry.
Our family enjoys sharing the variety of duck, shrimp & curry dishes, consistently 5 star! Staff are warm & professional.
Small but cute location. Food was fresh and delicious. If i lived closer id frequent this place. Their lychee sangria was rad 🤙🏻
Best Thai food i have had in new york state. I am not kidding.
Wonderfull traditional Thai food with a few "unique fusion" dishes on the menu. Not too spicy unless you ask for it to be, then its the real deal!
Always delicious, our favorite for thai takeout/delivery in the area
Friendly service. Delicious food and cocktails. A must and gem in Larchmont!
Loved it the duck was incredible 10/10 and true authentic Thai food
Awesome gluten-free options as well as regular food. Nice vegan choices as well. A hidden gem in Larchmont.
This is my local Thai spot! Great food and good vibes.
I love their food. Extremely consistent restaurant all around. Very nice people.
The food was delicious. It is a nice and cozy place to stop by and get a meal with your family.
It’s always a fantastic experience at Durian, the service and the food is always excellent!
Exclusive place. Wonderful place for an evening out. Very tasty food.
I travel from 3 towns away to come here the food is sogood!
Food here is unbelievable in a delicious way! Always love coming here.
So lovely. Beautiful service and food was amazing!
Great authentic Thai food! Friendly service and great portions!
Excellent Thai Cuisine. Emphasis on Cuisine. No gloppy sauces. Well balance from the Currie to the Kraprow.
Great first time experience, excellent food, good location, recommended to all!! ❤️
1. The only real Thai food in lower westchester. 2. It’s prepared well. 3. Spiced down for American palate but you can ask them to make it properly Thai spicy. Now go eat there or order from these lovely people.
This is one of the best places to eat in the area. The staff is so friendly and the food is always great!
Thai fried rice w/ chicken, and the Bangkok Duck were amazing! Also highly recommend the Beerlao Dark Lager, will definitely need to hunt that down. Food and service were top notch, I can't recommend Durian enough, 5/5 all day.
my favorite thai restaurant with authentic food. always so delicious and the cocktails are great too
Great dishes and lovely service! Next time will come to enjoy a tasty mango sticky rice :)
Always a favorite! Best Thai in Westchester! Small restaurant but big on taste. Dishes are standard Thai you'd expect, but the care taken and quality is top notch.
Authentic, calm and friendly atmosphere and service. Gentle Thai songs with guitar for background music. Kao no ped duck entree is delicious. We plan to return often.
Visiting Larchmont and was at loose ends, cold day, walked around the village, stopped for an espresso, burnt and undrinkable, over priced at any price, not happy and hungry and gave this place a try for dinner. The staff were real attentive and friendly, the service was good and the kao soi, a favorite of mine which I have eaten in other places was not inexpensive here but so good, great taste and flavour, happiness more than restored... ..
Delicious. Layered with flavours. Well priced. Authentic. I loved that the vegetables we not overcooked. Penny was a gracious host.
Wow!! One of the better pad thais I've had. The lady who served us was very attentive and lovely and the food was absolutely awesome. Perfect date spot!
My favorite Thai restaurant local to the area! Great food, outdoor seating, and the owner is so nice.
Always an enjoyable dining experience, the food is so delicious and fresh!
Okay, as someone who hates durian fruit itself, it's not easy for me to tell you that Durian, the restaurant, is excellent. Servings are not that big for the price, but every dish I tried was fantastic.
The staff is very kind and nice. Food comes out in a reasonable time and is extremely good. Would definitely recommend this restaurant
really good. best pad thai i ever had! i highly recommend. cosy and sweet people.
Thoroughly enjoyed it, been looking for a good Thai restaurant and just found it. We had the the Pork Krapow which was really tender, and the lamb shank - both excellent- we look forward to coming back! If I had to offer constructive criticism- love the peanut sauce to be homemade... but minor in the grand scheme of things
I love this place. Completely disagree with the last review about long wait times. We came On Friday night. Seating inside And outside! Food flavors amazing. Service attentive and efficient. Cocktails delicious. No we didnt wait long, we lived abroad, this is NY time not France. I am So over the negative reviewers who kill Our local establishments. We drove From scarsdale and had a lovely dinner. Support your local restaurants so they don’t shut down. Covid sucked. Go out and eat and if you don’t feel safe inside they had 5 tables for 2 in front. And yes we lived in the city for years so we Know what to expect in a suburban Thai place.
very good Thai restaurant.. large menu with all the Thai standards. Ample portions but not monstrous. Very nice lady that manages it and very good service.
I cannot believe my husband and I have JUST discovered Durian, after living in the nearby area for a few years! This is by the far the BEST Thai food we've ever had! Everything was done to perfection from the food, to the delivery, to the cordial staff and delivery personnel. What an exceptional restaurant - would give ten stars if I could!
Durian is under new management and wow, what a difference in the service and staff. It's the same amazingly tasty food at the same prices but a whole new wait staff. The owners are super friendly and the staff are nice, attentive, and kind. I encourage everyone to give Durian another try if you haven't experienced it under this new management.
Great authentic Thai food. Cocktails are also delicious. It has a small cozy vibe.
We've been a couple times and had take out. The food is quite original and though some standard Thai stuff is on the menu many original dishes or twists on standards are present. The dishes we've tried have been consistently interesting, tasty and delicious. The cosy space makes for an intimate atmosphere and service was good. This place deserves to be visited multiple times to explore the menu and also to maintain something much more original than the typical american / italian / french places in Larchmont.
Great friendly staff, varied menu and cozy outdoor tables for dining. The palor duck is a MUST try. It was delightful! We opted for the ice cream shop down the road on Palmer Avenue, as the desert menu was limited and allergies were present. Prices were somewhat high for 2 dishes and 2 drinks, but that's a given for post-covid everywhere. I do recommend a sit down in the evening, as the sun beams down hard. Train noises are tolerable, but try not to go during rush hour.. lol...
A cute intimate restaurant with great food! I was so pleased with my pad thai and curry puff. My first time being there and I will be back. The staff was welcoming and kind.
Absolutely love this restaurant ! I’ve been coming here for a while. A gem in my neighborhood :) My favorite place to eat. Try their chive dumplings & curry dishes, so good :)
Whether we order in or come to the restaurant the food is always outstanding. The service is wonderful My only advice…. Order more, the food is great as leftovers as well.
Delicious food every time!! Great cocktails, ambience and the perfect service. This has been our go to Thai restaurant for years!!! Always great!!!
Flavorful, amazing Thai food with fresh ingredients. Take-out is very, very busy -- for good reason, and the staff have a hectic pace to keep up with. Pricing is actually fair for the area, but can seem higher than some prices elsewhere. Cozy eat-in setting also available, full of character. Order from their web site directly and you'll get 10% off of your first order, too (for pick-up or delivery).
It is good, but pricey. We have been a few times and only go when we really are craving Thai. They do a great job and the food is very delicious. Small dining room. Attentive service and great drinks. We will be back for sure!
A hidden gem tucked away at the Larchmont train station. We have been going there for years and always enjoyed our meals. One of the finest Thai places in the northeast if not the whole country.
We have a great time here. We got the mango colada and the lychee mojito and it was perfect, not too sweet. Our duck dishes were also very good and came with wild rice which my mom loved. Servers were very attentive and the restaurant is very nice and quiet
Awesome Thai food that is authentic and can adjust the spice level. Try the beef Krapow, snapper and the puffs . Cocktails are special .
This is awesome Thai. I love the Kraprow with beef or chicken spicy. Yummy paired with a lychee martini and Mango Ice cream. A very pleasing experience for one or many❤️
👍2022 Recommended 👍 Very comfortable atmosphere, nice staff the service was excellent. I decided on 2 appetizers. I would highly recommend the which was the Moo Ping, Grilled Bonless Pork Chop. It was so tasty. The Steak Satay was good too. 2 different textures that complemented each other.
Excellent food, fast and friendly service. Reasonably price. And you can sit outside on a nice day.
Very nice small spot, clean, and the food is very delicious. Highly recommend for dine in or take out.
Excellent local Thai food
Good value. Great food at a reasonable price. Mango curry was tasty. Loved the rice cakes with jam.

The food is delicious! Most of all, I love the people and service here! They remember you and always make space for “their people”
Sat outside on a sunny day with my dogs, and my waiter was so nice, attentive, and friendly bringing extra water for my dog! The food was good. I really liked the curry puffs.
Loved the atmosphere of this restaurant. It was so cute and perfect for evening outings. The waiter was very attentive and checked up on us throughout our meal. The food and drinks were great as well.
Daring, authentic flavors and delightful staff. They can be gentle with the heat, or light it on fire depending on how you like it. An absolute go-to for great Thai and a cozy meal.
I love the kratium duck here. I always try to visit when I'm in town!
Good Thai food, ordered for delivery and the food was ready as expected and still hot by the time we got home!
Merry Christmas!! We ordered several dishes for our Christmas Lunch with our family and ALL enjoyed all of the delicious food! Service was Greatly enjoyed and appreciated the hospitality jane thank you 🙏

Small, cozy with friendly staff. Unfortunately they did not have the two appetizers I wanted to try but food was good overall.
The food is good but I feel like it's so overpriced compared to other Thai places we've gone to.
Very good food and service. Nice lunch specials. Right by train station.
At first I was surprised how pricey Durian is for Thai food and wouldn't go, but after multiple pleas from my local sister, I was converted. They really know how to use their Thai herbs and spices and I think it's among the best Thai I have had anywhere in the U.S. Updated - taking one star off since I think the owners changed and it seems less authentic than it was before.
Would really give 3.5 stars. The service was ok. The food was tasty. The place is small, but makes you feel like you're in a home, not a restaurant (up to you if that's your thing). The prices are a bit high - definitely higher than what I pay in the city for the same quality. Would be more inclined to come back if their prices were more reasonable.
Chicken Thai fried rice was very good! Definitely would come here again!
We have been so pleasantly surprised by takeout from Durian. It’s a little inconsistent, but mostly good. Better than most of the UWS Thai options! The Chiang Mai noodles are tiny and not really worth it, but otherwise prices match most Westchester Thai spots. The papaya salad is always fresh and tasty, the chicken satay is often a bit dry, the drunken noodles come with lots of fresh veggies, and the Penang curry is our favorite of the curries. One day we might even try eating there!
Solid Thai food with a little extra. Meals are a bit more expensive than standard but come with small salad and soup. The ambiance is very nice and the location is great right near the train station. Good for lunch or dinner.
My server was so delightful and paid me close attention. My food was good too and with a good rate of spice- before my glass of water was finished it was refilled. Nice treat at the end of dinner to put a smile on your face too.
Tasty Thai Food. Located next to Larchmont station. Nice staff. Veggie Thai food is great and so are the servers. Good place to bring kids.

Quaint restaurant with really good food. The snapper was a bit more-sweet-than-savory for me but they make the best Thai fried rice I have ever had! Order ahead if you are taking out on a weekend; they are busy!

Dine in food quality was very good and service was excellent. Take out food quality not so much.
Great food, very rude staff.
Decent food but way too expensive, I can get the same quality at a noodle spot in the city for half the price.
Fun, creative, and thoughtful gourmet menu choices, but for me it felt unnecessarily overpriced for the ambiance and experience.
Nice and cozy place. Almost has a feeling of being in a home setting than a restaurant setting. The train station is right beside the restaurant, but did not hear any noise and it felt very comfortable inside with a nice view. The food was good, but not the best that food I ever had. However, food was super expensive!!! Specially compared to quantity and even the quality didn't feel like a $20 drunken noodles etc. The highlights were the nice owner and purple rice pudding! The desert was very delicious! Staff need to smile more and be more welcoming.
I've been going here for 5 years now so clearly I am or was a fan. Their service can be inconsistent, they're not the friendliest team initially but they do warm up. All that I can accept because the food was very good. However, last night the chicken was so tough, it was inedible. There was so many julienne ginger slices, I had to push them to the side and so few of those amazing mushrooms. Very disappointing. It seems they have quite a bit of staff turnover w/some constants. Not sure if that turnover is in the kitchen as well. My guess is yes. Sadly, I'm not in any hurry to return after last night's experience. I miss what Durian used to offer.
The Boa and soup here were great. For the price of a martini size glass cocktail ($14), we would have expected the vegan entree (Tofu) to be more up to par. It was very bland only with a spare amount of sauce and 2 sliced cucumbers. We won't be returning but this location is cozy and service was good.

nothing special here...mediocre food and service...also, over priced...ordered a minced chicken entree which was minced chicken soaked in soy sauce...my brother ordered beef short ribs which were fatty and has nothing to do with thai cuisine...the papaya salad was pretty good, but not enough to make up for the other dishes we ordered...
I was a huge fan when it first opened. I have been a lukewarm patron since due to inconsistency in service and food quality. Recently, I decided to order again, and I was shocked to find that a $30 chicken and shrimp dish came with just two shrimp. I called to verify the shrimp count and was told, defiantly by the person who answered the phone, that indeed the said $30 dish comes with just two shrimp. WOW!
Wanted to try new local Thai food. Ordered take out. Went in on a Sunday afternoon. Elderly lady inside never greeted us, said thank you, nor gave us utensils. Ordered 3 entrees, all of which were way too salty, and fried rice had so much vegetables to rice ratio. Thai iced tea too sweet & not enough tea. For the price & good reviews I'd expected good food at least. Definitely a miss in my book. I'll stick to my usual Thai spots.
It might have been a better experience eating there, but we had to do take out. Whole Snapper overcooked & dry. Fried pork wasn’t fried, but rather sautéed, overcooked & tough. Shrimp rolls were fair. Not a good experience… but if we try again, will eat there.
I did not enjoy my food. The food came dry and had no flavor. I requested for the food to not be spicy and it came HOT. I was to the point of tears and sweating. It was awful. The prices were overpriced especially for a “lunch” portion which was quite small. $21 for a small cmon.

The old lady has offered 0 service from start to finish, and check the highest tips option by herself without asking. That is very rude and disrespectful in my feeling.
From the minute that we walked through the door, we felt unwelcomed. We were ignored for about 5-8 minutes before being acknowledged. It wasn't difficult to see that we were waiting, as this establishment is extremely small. We ended up leaving, I refuse to spend my money in a place that treats the customers as such.
We love thai food and this place was the worst! Overpriced, bland food. Was served dried out pork patties which were inedible; was charged for them anyway;) Below average food at twice the typical price.
I called and asked for their spicy soy vinaigrette on the side of my order which is on a lot of their food the lady straight up said no I said okay no problem could I just have some soy sauce on the side since my order comes with dark soy she said NO?! Horrible horrible customer service im shocked
Overall I won’t recommend this place. 1st, The waitress missed one of our order. 2-3 other items we had to remind them after a while. It wasn’t busy at that time. 2nd, the food was ok, not bad nothing fancy neither. The waitress was impolite, never greeting us and obviously having an attitude when serving the food. 3rd, when we pay the bill, the rude elderly lady grab the bill and crossed the tips by herself and said it has to be no less than 23% for 5 people. We were 4 people with a 2-year old and was originally tips 20%. It’s probably my worst restaurant experience in NY.
I really haven’t the slightest idea of how this place has a 4.2 rating, it must be artificially inflated by workers, worker’s friends, and worker’s family. We decided to take a family member here for their birthday dinner because they enjoy Thai food and we had never tried Durian. Our party was 5 adults, two toddlers who did not order any food because most small children don’t enjoy Thai, and a baby who also obviously did not eat. That being said, the waitress/manager still attempted to charge us 20% gratuity for being over 6 people. She counted a baby and 2 toddlers who did not eat in order to obtain a 20% tip. Then on top of this we had brought our own birthday cake and asked if we could please just get several plates to eat it and then leave. We were told that this would result in an additional $8 per person charge. Once again they included the baby for an extra charge of $64 for using a few plates. The food tasted like overpriced Chinese food and the atmosphere/decor was fine, that’s about all.
Will never order from them again… horrible experience. We door dashed and they never delivered part of the order, called to ask what can be done and they directed me to the other location— all they do is run people in circles.
