Always excellent food, it may take a while on a Saturday night but it's worth it.

My only complaint is that the wings and Balboa are so good I never try anything else on the menu!

Family favorite. We go to LT often, it can get packed and you might have to wait a good 10-15 mins but that's not on the regular. The Staff does a great job at managing tables.

If you're looking for a great sandwich go here! They have a number of different specialty sandwiches, all very tasty. The Tavern is typically pretty crowded around Noon for lunch, though the wait is pretty quick. They have great options for kids, including PB&J, Grilled Cheese and Mac n' Cheese. There are many beers on tap and sports up on the screens. Great for a meal with friends or hanging with the family

My grandparents started the LT and lived above the tavern, they had 12 children and all worked there as they got older. My aunt's and uncles (andy mother) carried on the business to a point . Now the new owners have done there best to keep the money of my family alive. I am very thankful for that. So please go to the LT and see the history on the walls and enjoy a drink and some food. For me many fantastic memories. To all enjoy life !!!!

This place is a Larchmont staple. It serves all kinds of great comfort Foods. We really like to get the Balboa. I usually substitute ham for roast beef. My wife usually substitutes American cheese for Swiss cheese. But the garlic bread that it is served on is delicious. They also serve a great burger and really great meatballs. You can't really go wrong here.

It's tough to beat LT. Few places come close, none do it better. The staff are amazing, the food is incredible, the atmosphere is one-of-a-kind. Can't wait to go back next weekend!

This is the "it" dining spot in Larchmont. Generations of adults, families, and children have enjoyed the burgers, pasta staples, and famous Balboa...not to mention wings and other standard pub fare. The atmosphere here is second to none; every photo, newspaper clipping, and piece of decor tells a story about the community and patrons of this tavern through the years. Don't miss it, even if it's just to sit at the bar!

My favorite restaurant in Larchmont. I love everything on the menu, but my favorites are the Z Freakin Chicken and the Miguel. The LT beer tap is actually Captain Lawrence because they were one of the first places to serve it. Also make sure to order a large bowl of their coleslaw.

Such a lovely place to go with my wonderful lady and the kids. They make a hamburger with some sort of magic because I can't explain how good it tastes.

Every town in Westchester should have an LT. Whether it's burgers and wings or a delicious sandwich, the LT is a family friendly gem that has blessed Chatsworth Ave for over 80 years. Word on the street is some associates will be opening their own neighborhood spot in the town of Harrison that will focus on the quality and service the LT has been known for. As I said, every town in Westchester would be lucky to have an LT.

Great food. This is one of the default places we go or order from when we cannot decide what to eat. Consistently great. I love the Balboa and they have the best Cole slaw in the world. Arturo wings and regular buffalo wings are great as well

Been going to the LT since I was a little kid. I have always enjoyed everything I have ever had there. Sometimes, I go there more than once a week. It is a great place to bring a client for lunch. The atmosphere is old town Larchmont. Our Server, Todd is very attentive and always brings us exactly what we order and makes sure we are never lacking any water or other beverage. For my friends, this is our go to place and has been for many years. I always say that a certain place is in our weekly restaurant rotation, but this is the place that started it all.

We had a good time here. We sat in the indoor patio area. They had it covered with heated lamps. The food was great. The Mac n cheese was buttery and yummy. I had the Shrimp Po' Boy. It tasted good. The LT Lemonade(I think it was called) was strong! Very good drink. I'm looking forward to ordering other parts of the menu when we go again!

This Balboa was sensational!! The price is right and service is on point. A wonderful neighborhood destination.

We came here for the first time and absolutely loved it. We saw this spot all over social media and had to give it a try. The food was delicious and we were very happy with the waiter. They explained everything on the menu and helped us choose something. We will definitely be back to try some more food. Great place!

Amazing food, warm cozy tavern atmosphere and super friendly staff. We were seated right away at 4:45pm on a Saturday, the kitchen opened at 5:00pm, our food came out by 5:20 and by that time there was a line of people waiting to be seated but the servers were hustling and I feel like tables would become available relatively quickly.

I think when you think of a tavern this would be the place. It felt old school in that there's nothing fancy just regular people and a menu you can touch, no QR code fanciness. It's in an upscale neighborhood so if you want some high society foo foo shee shee environment just go a few doors down. 😁 There are two doors. The door on the right takes you to the bar on the right side or the door on the left takes you to the dining room. It's a comfortable casual environment. I had a spicy salad that I thought was good.

We had a couple of nice experiences here in the summer. Both times we sat outside and even though the outdoor dining area is right on the street, they make it pretty pleasant. There were lots of families with young kids out there. The food was abover average and they have enough options but not too many. The servers were friendly and attentive. Don't be fooled by the word 'tavern' in the name as this is more restaurant than bar.

I was working in the area and stopped in for dinner. The employees are very nice. The food here is great. I’ve had their wings, their burgers and their French dip hero. Everything is good but the French dip is phenomenal. I have been back 4 times to get it and have yet to be disappointed. Highly recommend.

The food was pretty good. However, the service wasn't that great. The staff wasn't rude but my family and I kind of felt out of place. The wait staff wasn't very attentive. The guy that seated us spilled some water on my daughter's clothes and he just said "Sorry" so casually and he didn't even offer any napkins to clean it up, I had to ask. I wouldn't recommend it to others.

This place is great if you're eating in. Food is on point. DO NOT ORDER TAKE OUT! The food to go is not the same as served to sitting guests. Bland, tasteless and most of the time incorrect.

Can get a little rowdy on a sports night... which is every night at the tavern. I like their sandwiches more than their burgers. Both are pretty good, though. Blue melt!

Today was my first time going here. The whole place was chaotic. My titos lemonade was watery. I ordered the Chatsworth burger, well done. The center of my burger was red and not all the way cooked. The English muffin being the bun is super weird to me. Fries were bland. The only good things were the calamari (not pictured bc was eaten in seconds) and the chocolate lava cake was divine. Maybe I'd give it another chance? The whole menu was just sandwiches.

The manager was really rude on the phone with me. I sent an email last week and followed up and called today about a picture that was on the wall for many years just to see if they still have it. I offered for them to pick their price for the photo. No harm no foul that they did not have it anymore according to him. He proceeded to tell me he had just gotten back from vacation and could not find the email. Totally fine, but his attitude on the phone was insane when I’m just asking about something so small 24 minutes after they opened for the day! That was shocking as the staff was so kind back in January when we visited. They get the second star. As a native restaurant worker I can say: some of the only free things you can give your patrons are kindness and a smile. That energy starts at the top.

2 bland fish sandwich specials with cold fries, one club sandwich, and 4 cocktails. The margaritas were the worst I've ever tasted. The food is bland, mediocre, and extremely overpriced. 🙄

Got string beans and they had a mysterious thing inside that wasnt supposed to be there. Missing avocado in 2 salads. and the food was terrible just massive proportions. never going back

She took a couple bites & realized it was VERY CHEWY & I had put in the options for the burger to be WELL DONE. She woke up today throwing up. Shes not feeling too good. We've been regulars here for years and last night we had an experience that will unfortunately be our last visit. We arrived at 4:15 and were told the kitchen didn't open until 5:00. No problem -- we were happy to wait and ordered drinks. We had a friend with us, and we were excited to bring her to one of our favorite spots. A server seated us in a large booth and we settled in. After 45 minutes of waiting, they brought menus -- and then moments later informed us we had to move to a small table in case a larger party came in. We'd been sitting in that booth for nearly an hour, waiting on them. The restaurant was practically empty. There was no manager on site, just a server telling us "it's our policy" with zero flexibility or apology. The waitress was abrupt and dismissive, and our loyalty as regulars meant nothing. It was rude and very embarrassing. We paid our drink tab and left. The food here has always been good, which makes this so disappointing. But being treated like an inconvenience after years of patronage isn't something we'll forget -- or repeat.

I recently called Larchmont Tavern to purchase a gift card They told me no problem to come in and speak to the bartender. I decided to walk there because my car is not working. When I got there, they told me they don’t do gift cards and I need to come back later. This isn’t the first bad experience I had here In regards to the service.

While dining here Saturday for lunch, I witnessed something upsetting. A father and daughter who were speaking Arabic sat at the table next to us and quietly left before ordering. When our waiter returned and saw they were gone, he loudly said to a fellow server, “Where did the terrorists go?” The female waitress responded with an uncomfortable laugh, saying, “You can’t say that.” It’s a shame, as the meal itself was good, but the experience was hard to swallow. Until incidents like this are addressed, we won't be returning.
