Opinions de Triple George Grill Las Vegas
Did I mention this was the best dinner of my 10-day trip to the U.S.? An absolutely wonderful experience — every dish was fantastic. I especially recommend the Cajun seafood pasta; it instantly became one of the top three pasta dishes I’ve ever had. Beyond the food, the service truly stood out. Every server was warm, friendly, and attentive, which made the whole experience even more memorable. Highly recommended if you’re visiting Las Vegas!
First time eating at Triple George and it did not disappoint. We were a party of 6 on Christmas Day. Service was great. Drinks came quickly from the bar. The Vanilla Raspberry Martini was delicious. One of the best french onion soups I've ever had. Great downtown restaurant.
We stayed the Downtown Grand for one night and wanted a delicious meal with great service without a strict dress code, but not a tourist place, so we chose to eat here. The ambiance was perfection, but the service even better — with (of course) delicious food and drink!! Our server, Rebbecca, was one of the two best servers we’ve ever had, and she tied with the other: beautiful smile, friendly, perfect timing! The food would bring us back, she makes us recommend it to others!!
I made a reservation at a nearby restaurant, got there early and once seated, no one even brought water. After nearly 10mins of waiting, I left. I ended up enjoying a meal at Triple George. And, Jose was absolutely amazing...working the bar and serving my table effortlessly. Thank you Jose for a lovely experience!!!
LOVE LOVE Triple George Grill for dinner and lunch… we stopped in today for brunch and again, LOVE!! Always a memorable downtown dining experience, decadent steaks, classic cocktails, and the BEST service!! Thank you to our bartender this morning, exceptional service by Joy!
If you are on Fremont and want very high quality food and drink at a reasonable price, this is your spot. Super classy. Elevated food and drink, rustic decor. Look no further!
Triple George is on par with the best. We have never had a bad meal or experience. Todd makes the best drinks and his vibrant personality just adds even more fun to the experience. Tana is also amazing and so attentive to requests you really feel special. LOVE this place!!
We had a group birthday dinner for over 20 people, and Triple George was a great choice! The room was comfortable, and the wood tone walls made the room very warm and easy to decorate. The staff worked hard, and the food was great. The calamari was a particular hit, and people said it was the best they ever had! The location is perfect with a 2 minute walk to Freemont Street after dinner. I was very happy that I had booked The Triple George!
Cool spot with a San Fran lunch counter style bar. The steak and oysters were great. Definitely not cheap though.
Great place downtown Vegas, just a block off Fremont Street. Nice old school steakhouse vibe. Real good steaks and seafood. No wait for our table with reservation. Very good service. Very cool long bar with seating; also some booths and tables for dining. Very extensive cocktail list. Tableside prepared Cesar salad for 2 was very nice presentation, but it was just average tasting in our opinion. Good portions- not huge (unless you order the huge steaks) and not skimpy. Too full to try dessert, but it was a nice list. If there is free street parking, we didn’t see it. Paid street parking and a variety of paid garages walking distance.
I loved the service. Sat at the bar and gentleman was pretty attentive and friendly. The octopus was AMAZING. The Steak even better. I was asked if I needed any condiment on the Steak. Just cook it with salt please.
I went for my birthday dinner and the food was excellent. The waiter was friendly and my group loved her!
The staff was perfect the food was perfect it was a perfect Birthday Dinner for my beautiful wife of 35 years thank you Triple George for the perfect Dinner and drinks. We had the dinner for 2 and added a Tail Ceasars Salad was excellent as well and the loaf of warm fresh baked bread was awesome we did not finish that whole porterhouse it was cooked to perfection, we left there completely satisfied. I never new this place was here will definitely go back next special occasion when we come back Downtown Vegas
Amazing restaurant with a New York style vibe! Ricardo, our server, is such a huge credit to the establishment and very patient with us whilst we were deciding on our dishes. Popped in to celebrate mine and my wife's 20th wedding anniversary on the recommendation from someone who works at Mon Bel Ami Wedding Chapel (look out for the review for them 😘). We were not disappointed with the recommendation! There is a bar you can sit at as well as tables and booths. We popped in on a Wednesday at lunch time and whilst it was not quiet, we managed to bag a booth to ourselves. Food was amazing; I opted for the meatball starter whilst wifey decided to skip the starters and opt for just a main due to portion sizes. Wifey selected a turkey club sandwich with fries and I opted for a medium rare steak, which was cooked to perfection, along with truffle fries. The steak was so nice, even the fat was edible (it was very crunchy!) The sandwich was nice but as anticipated, too large for my wife to finish. The restrooms, located on the other side of the bar from where we were sat were nice and clean, which is always good. Staff overall were friendly and polite and it's just a shame I am a visitor to Vegas and not a resident as I would frequent this establishment at least a couple of times a month (the Big Dogs Lager goes down VERY easy, even at $8!) Thanks for a very memorable meal and top notch service, the food and service in this place are second to none!
We had Thanksgiving dinner here just a couple of weeks back and let me say it did not disappoint!! We were a large party of 18 people and they did a fantastic job accommodating us all! I am pretty confident we ordered almost every menu item between the large group and everything was great! I would highly recommend this place to any one for any dining occasion/experience. Definitely give it a try if you are looking for a good restaurant downtown.
This is the best kept secret in Las Vegas. The food was amazing and the service went above and beyond. I was particularly impressed with Tanya the general manager who helped me get across the street because I am visually impaired. I come to Las Vegas monthly and will definitely make this my new go to spot.
02/14/25 Happy Valentines Day to all the George employees! We is back again!!! Thx for another wonderful dinner treat again. Loved the Marvelous looking Chicken pot pie and uniquely flavor Brussel sprouts side. Pot pie was wonderful smooth and way too big to finish. Salmon just melted in my wife’s mouth . Love you guys and thx for Becky our waitress as well as Micheal and Jared who attended us before dinner started at 4pm after happy hour. Thx Tana for accommodating us earlier to get our booth. ************************* Wow a very pleasant jewel downtown Vegas . I never knew this restaurant existed for last 20 years. Modeled after the in San Francisco I was told . Kristy was and excellent sever and ever vigilant. Tana the manager was very friendly and runs a very nice establishment. Enrique the Chef prepared a wonderful lunch. My turkey club sandwich was beautiful and a most generous portion. The giant asparagus was tender all the way down the stamps and grill at the last minute. Best I ever had. The warm sourdough bread was soft butter scoop surrounded by a pleasant spiced sauce. A great different taste from my pallet. The fries were seasoned wonderful and waffle cut sweet potatoes were plain, soft with a light crunch. My wife had a side of chicken, which was yummy and cooked to perfection grilled and seasoned perfectly When one partakes from Triple George grill your valet ticket is free when you park at the Grand Hotel downtown Vegas .You can tip Valet any amount by scanning the barcode the restaurant sticks to your parking stub. Normally parking runs 20/25 dollars. Thank you “Triple GeorgeGrill “for a wonderful afternoon meal . Looking forward to trying your wonderful mind blowing extra large Chicken pot Pie with the thick snowflake light crust in the future. God bless and Merry Christmas to all. Jesus loves you!
Outstanding restaurant, and I can't believe this was our first visit. They are doing everything right... food, service, and atmosphere! Very friendly from the moment we stepped in. The food was cooked to perfection and very tasty! You don't hear many people talking about Triple George, but it's a hidden Gem. Highly recommend and we'll be back for sure!
I ate here on a recent work trip to Vegas. Ricardo set us up nicely at the bar and was very helpful! The food was great, and the meats were cooked to order. Will consider coming back if I'm ever back in the area.
Triple George Grill in downtown Las Vegas. This place is an absolute gem! From the moment I walked in, the vibe was perfect—classy yet cozy, with that old-school charm that makes you feel like you’re stepping into a Rat Pack movie. The staff were super friendly and on point, making the whole experience even better. The food? Oh man, top-notch. I had the bacon cheeseburger, and it was cooked to perfection—juicy, flavorful, and honestly one of the best I’ve had in a while. The sides were just as good, and don’t even get me started on the cocktails—spot on. Google Maps nailed it by putting this spot on my radar. It’s now my go-to whenever I’m downtown. Five stars all the way for Triple George
This was an amazing place to eat. We came here for my fiancé birthday. We received a birthday card from the staff congratulating him. The tables were spacious and a beautiful ambiance. The meals were divine. We had steak, seafood pasta and prime rib. All the sides were ala carte. The waitstaff were very attentive. This is a must try outside of the strip
Loved this steakhouse! Located off the strip in downtown and surrounded by lots of things to do but in a quieter area. The restaurant is beautiful inside and the ambiance is 🔥. The booths are very intimate and private for dining which allows for quiet conversation and romanticism. The steaks were absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection. Highly recommend the 22oz Bone In Ribeye which is about 16oz of steak minus the bone. The initial breadand butter is very tasty as well, sourdough and butter dish. The wild mushrooms and bearnaise sauce were terrific to pair with my steak!! Perfect combo and you get a heaping amount of mushrooms! Delicious and cooked perfectly as well. Soft buttery mushrooms. Service was immaculate and highly customer service driven as they were very attentive but not over the top. When they seen a drink empty they would be quick to ask if you need a refill and it may not even be your server doing so but rather staff walking by who notices. Same with removing empty dishes. I loved that!
Wow! I’ve had steaks all over the world and this is at the very top it was unbelievable ! We got the monthly special which had the ceaser salad’ tomahawk ribeye and cheese cake deserts! Sides are also massive so be warned lol Also got shrimp cocktail separately was massive and amazing! The food was absolutely tops the service was amazing (shout out to Monique and knight) great staff! If in Las Vegas go make a reservation and get to this place it’s just special! And 2 mins from fremont st! Thanks triple George we will be back 100%
They have the most amazing lunch special. I had ribeye sandwich, ceaser salad, sweet fries and tiramisu. And they start you with the best bread with whipped butter and vinegar. Service is impeccable - Juan was very knowledgeable, patient and extremely old school polished! Will need to give dinner a try, and lunch has blown my mind.
My wife, son, and I hit the Triple George Grill for dinner as it was close to a party venue we were to attend. We selected it based on photos and reviews. Now we’re adding ours. The food, presentation, and series were all amazing. My son and I shared the 40 oz Tomahawk special which included two Caesar salads and two slices of cheesecake. My wife had the short rib. It was amazing! Brenda, our waitress, was excellent. She knew the beverage menu inside and out and was also exceptional with her wine knowledge. The manager, Dana, stopped by the table to make sure our experience met our expectations. This restaurant is highly recommended!
Excellent steak & seafood. We decided to try this place since it was close to our hotel. Hubby had Ks City Strip and added shrimp, very tasty. I had the petite (8oz) filet that was prepared perfectly (rare). Very tender. Salads were both very good& appreciated that the wedge salad wasn't ginormous. I don't think the tomatoes were fresh? Maybe sundried?? Bread was hot & crusty- yum! Greatly enjoyed the Raspberry Sorbet which turned out to be black raspberry that night... even better!!! Hubby had Bright Sun cocktail & I tried their Sidecar... both very good! Will definitely return here!
10/10 would recommend. Probably the best meal we have ever had. My husband's ribeye was the most tender, and my scallops were cooked perfectly. The flavor of everything was amazing and we would HIGHLY recommend it. They even gave us a complimentary mousse for our anniversary, and it should definitely be listed on the menu! Phenomenal. Also, the atmosphere allows for semi-privacy with some booths that are surrounded by walls. Dim lighting also provided a romantic atmosphere.
We went for Thanksgiving dinner last month. Absolutely amazing meal! Fantastic service. Liked the privacy of the booth, and still got to watch the Cowboys game; not sure if they did that based on the Cowboys jersey I was wearing or it was coincidence. Appreciated either way. I was beyond stuffed at the end. Turkey and gravy was great. The stuffing, green beans, carrots, and mashed potatoes were great. Bread and salad were great. But the pumpkin cheesecake was the most incredible dessert I've had in ages. Generous slice and just... I don't think anything will beat will beat it for a long time. Inspired me to make one for Christmas but I'm not sure if it would compare to theirs. It was worth the trip downtown from where we were staying on the strip. The casino itself is a nice getaway from the strip, but Triple George Grill was the real gem.
Went for dinner last night and had the special. It was a 40 ounce porter house steak with Caesar salad to start and a side of mac and cheese. We also were able to get two slices of cheesecake for desert. It was so good and I haven’t stopped thinking about it! our server was great and I loved the atmosphere!
Excellent steakhouse with exceptional service. The custom wooden booths create privacy! Each cut of steak was perfect. The signature dark cherry martini is amazing!
Love this place. Best food on or near Freemont street. Great service too. I highly recommend. You'll love the happy hour. Revisited on October 31st, 2025. Enjoyed the prime rib along with a half dozen oysters on the half shell. I cannot wait to get back again.
We got there at Happy hour and got the Fremont salad and Steak and frites. The salad was one of the best I had. So refreshing and savory. The steak was cooked perfect. The bartender mixed up some great drinks. This was our first time here and it won't be our last!
Didn’t know such a cool place existed! You feel like you’ve stepped back in time into a very cool time in Las Vegas. Reminds me of great restaurants in Chicago and New York. And being just steps away from the Mob Museum makes it even better. I had the payment for lunch and it was great. The bread was actually good too as well as the butter and Italian dressing combo that I had never seen before. Was super addictive. Service was impeccable. Will plan on eating there every time I visit downtown Las Vegas….
My husband and I were staying at the Downtown Grand so this place looked enticing and convenient since it was right across the street. We went there for late lunch and had several dishes including the lobster roll, clam chowder, salad, Honey Truffle Crispy Chicken sandwich, and steak tacos. Everything was excellent! The staff provided outstanding service. If you are staying in Downtown Las Vegas this place is worth a stop for lunch or dinner.
Was a wonderful dinner and the service was amazing. Nadia our server was above and beyond. Its so great that we were serviced by so many not just Nadia. Best filet mignon I've had in forever! A little pricey but we will keep coming back. Calamari and cheesecake were top notch as well!
Ate here twice in a week, everything was awesome. The decor is beautiful, with private alcove booths. I don't think you can go wrong with anything on this menu and the service is meticulous. The pot pie is huge and delicious with a flaky top crust.
★★★★★ 5 stars — Triple George’s is a downtown Vegas must!!! We had dinner at a booth atTriple George’s on New Year’s Day and it was a ballet of hospitality… the kind of service that feels rare lately. They actually pick up the phone when you call! And from the host to the servers to the entire crew, everyone brought their best to the table warm, attentive, professional, and somehow still relaxed and human… even on New Year’s Day. And the food? Perfection. Our steaks were cooked exactly right, beautifully paced, and genuinely delightful from start to finish. You can tell this place takes pride in doing it the right way… no gimmicks, just classic Vegas steakhouse excellence and a fun, professional team that makes you feel like family. Where is that these days? Also: the staff had this bright sense of humor that only comes from teamwork and being appreciated. I truly hope leadership is as solid behind the scenes as what they deliver to the table. If you’re downtown and want a meal that feels special (without the Strip chaos… which is the opposite of what happens downtown), go to Triple George’s. We left happy, impressed, and already talking about coming back… and we still have steak for days!
We chose this location for my daughter's wedding celebration. Every single person we interacted with was wonderful from the phone calls to the service and the meals. Everyone raved about their food and fantastic cocktails. Such a wonderful evening of exemplary service and food. Thank you to all the staff for truly making it a magical night for all of us.
Great experience overall. The staff was professional and attentive from start to finish. The food was excellent, and the atmosphere had a classic, comfortable vibe that made the whole dinner enjoyable. Service was smooth without feeling rushed. Definitely a place I’d come back to.
The best food I’ve had in my ENTIRE life. My husband and I shared the steak dinner for two and it was perfect. Cooked to perfection. Flavored to perfection. I just cannot stress enough how delicious the food was. The atmosphere is so charming and romantic. Please visit this place!!!
Slow. And I mean painfully slow service. Maybe they are understaffed? IDK. I ate at the bar. I started with the wedge that was ok but it had hardly any dressing and it was supposed to have bacon on it and I maybe had two bites. For an entree I got the filet mignon with bearnaise sauce. The filet was tasty but not Ruth’s Chris tasty. Good flavor but not as tender as Ruth’s Chris or other high end steak houses. Probably won’t be back.
Not bad of Happy Hour Monday-Friday 3pm-6pm with food ($10 hummus, salad or $12 Prime Rib roll) and drinks ($5 beer, $6 wine, $7 mules, $10 Martinis). Off the beaten popular path of from Fremont Street, but still part of DTLV.
We chose this place due to its proximity to Fremont Street. I didn't have any specific expectations initially. We began with clam chowder soup, shrimp cocktail, and calamari. The clam chowder and calamari were good, though the shrimp cocktail was just okay. Our main dishes were salmon and bone-in ribeye, both delicious with generous portions. The service was satisfactory.
The Triple George Grill was excellent. Located downtown very close to the Mob Museum. Probably the best choice for lunch in the area. The vibe feels like classic fine dining but still casual enough for the wandering tourist. The staff was friendly and attentive. All of the food we had was delicious. Will be sure to return on our next visit to Vegas!
Very good steak and chicken parm. Atmosphere was intimate with a high wall private booth and classic decor. The bar area was really nice classy old school look and vibe.
Very disappointed. Ordered a top shelf gin martini. It was gin & water- no vermouth. Waitress stated that’s the way they make them (not true). Ordered the Fremont Salad… it was a big bowl of spinach and a piece of blue cheese, nothing else was added. The waitress immediately took it backed and had it fixed. Our wait staff was awesome but the quality of the food has gone way down hill. We’re locals and have been dining at Triple George for over 10 years.
We had dinner here after a Uber driver recommended it. Higher end grill. The service was attentive, nice and almost complete. Sides were not placed at my side but in the middle of the table. Food was good but not amazing. However my old fashions were top notch. It was a nice experience but would not come back.
I was in Vegas, and stayed at the Grand Downtown Las Vegas. I was hungry so I decided to venture across the street to Triple George Grill. I was greeted at the door by a slim gentleman wearing a blue shirt and wearing glasses. He had a pot belly and was holding his stomach as though he was sick. I asked him if he was OK, he never answered, so I said, for one pls. He responded rudely, "sit at the bar." Throughout my stay, I noticed he seemed very friendly and attentive to others sitting at the bar, but never once did he approach me and ask me how was my meal or how was everything? In fact, I noticed he asked others at the bar on several occasions, how their meal was? He wd look at me and keep going. Other than the seemingly rude host, the food was excellent and the service was great. Everyone else, the beautiful atmosphere and the food made up for the rude, unhappy host. He made me feel like I shoud have never come in there. I would not go back, or recommend to ppl I know to avoid this place. I did speak to a female manager behind the bar, who was very kind, and welcoming The male host in the blue shirt made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome.
Gave it a try with the $25 off from the hotel. Would rather pay full price for decent food. Lobster mac was basically undercooked pasta covered in bisque served lukewarm. Maybe served hot the pasta would have been a bit better. One scallop was slightly under and the other was rubbery. Steak was cooked properly but doesn't have much flavor and the peppercorn sauce was abysmal and arrived with a film on top and tasted some kind of rancid. Waiter encouraged a small Caesar salad, didn't expect $17 for a side salad when that's the same as my scallops or a side dish but the salad was the best tasting part of the meal. Bill was $140 before the discount so not badly priced just poor quality. The food, including the salad, was quite slow coming out.
The communication between this place and the downtown grand regarding their promotions is horrendous. Grand advertised a 100% off chicken Parm which this place could not see but they could see 50% off which is the normal promotion. Went back to the grand who seemed confused at perhaps a misprint and gave me a comp for half the meal. Upon paying for the meal I was still charged full price for the parm. Had to go back to the grand then back to this place to correct it. I wasted so much time and it wouldn't have been such an annoyance if the $42 chicken parm was actually good in comparison to chicken parms I've had for half that price. Im still sitting here waiting for this to be corrected the entire time I've been typing this. Completely turned me off from ever coming here again but my assumption is I'm saving money on overpriced mediocre food.
