I had the opportunity to visit SUSHISAMBA over the weekend while I was in Las Vegas for the Backstreet Boys concert, and it was truly an incredible experience. I had never seen such a seamless fusion of Japanese cuisine blended with Brazilian flavors and Peruvian influences all in one place. The concept is unique, and it's beautifully executed. The service was attentive and welcoming, and the food delivered both in flavor and quality. Every dish felt thoughtfully prepared, and the quality to price ratio was absolutely worth it. If you're looking to explore Brazilian, Japanese, and Peruvian flavors in one vibrant setting, this is definitely a place I would return to again and again for a different and exciting touch to the palate.
I come to Vegas every year I've been coming for the last 11 years and this is one of the spots that my friends always tell me that I should go to and I finally decided to this year. I went with a buddy and we tried about 50 different things on the menu not joking. It was so incredible every single thing great service we got treated like kings. Nick was amazing and really suggests that you should go check this out. If you haven't checked it out you're really missing out. The ambience is awesome. The service is great. They're quick. They're very attentive. What are you doing reading this you really should just go eat sushi right now. Seriously stop reading this.
We stopped by SushiSamba before the Backstreet Boys concert and had a fantastic experience from start to finish. We were pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to get a table, especially with the pre-concert crowd. One of the biggest highlights was discovering they have a kids menu, totally unexpected and very appreciated for a family night out. The food was absolutely delicious across the board, beautifully presented and full of flavor. Huge shout-out to our servers, Andy and Colt, who were spot on all night: friendly, attentive, and perfectly timed despite the busy atmosphere. This was the perfect pre-concert dinner and we’ll definitely be back.
SUSHISAMBA delivered an exceptional dining experience from start to finish. The service was personable, attentive, and truly impressive. My specific allergy needs (celiac) were handled with genuine care and importance—not an inconvenience. Our server, Caroline, was knowledgeable and thoughtful. She made the entire experience seamless - guiding us through signature cocktails, sake, spirits, suggestions for main courses, and complimentary dessert options. We were especially appreciative when the General Manager, Phil You, stopped by and graciously shared a few complimentary dishes that were packed with incredible flavor. They paired beautifully with our main course selections. We left fully satisfied and genuinely grateful for the variety, creativity, and care throughout the evening. This restaurant was recommended to us by Diana R., a SUSHISAMBA employee whom we met on an airplane! I'm grateful that she shared with us, as it exceeded every expectation.
An unforgettable dining experience – Stunning vibes & incredible sushi~~ I cannot say enough good things about my experience at SUSHISAMBA! From the moment we walked in, we were blown away by the atmosphere. The restaurant itself is absolutely beautiful—the decor is vibrant, colorful, and creates such a cool energy for the evening. The food was just as impressive as the interior. We ordered a variety of rolls, and the presentation was art on a plate. The fish was incredibly fresh, and the flavors were unique and delicious (especially the roll with the crispy toppings!). To top it all off, the service was fantastic. Our server was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had a great time. If you are looking for a spot that combines great vibes with amazing food, this is it. Highly recommended!
SUSHISAMBA – The Palazzo, Las Vegas SUSHISAMBA inside The Palazzo is a great spot whether you’re looking to grab a quick bite and cocktails or sit down for a full dining experience. The restaurant offers multiple happy hours throughout the day and night, so it’s definitely worth taking advantage of those deals. The drinks are amazing, well-balanced, creative, and beautifully presented, while the food is absolutely delicious, blending Japanese, Brazilian, and Peruvian influences perfectly. Kelly, our bartender, was outstanding! She took great care of us, made excellent recommendations, and ensured our experience was top-notch from start to finish. Intimate dinner between the great service, excellent food, and inviting atmosphere, SUSHISAMBA is a must-visit in The Palazzo for anyone looking for good vibes and flavorful bites.
Here’s a polished and more eloquent version for your Google review — still honest, but with a smoother flow: ⸻ We enjoyed a lovely lunch at Samba Sushi while strolling through the Grand Canal Shoppes. Since it wasn’t too busy, we were greeted and seated right away. Our server arrived promptly with water and menus, kindly explaining the specials and giving us time to browse an impressive list of house cocktails (and mocktails). There were so many creative options to choose from, but we ultimately went with the Mango Grove and the Chipotle Pepper — both delicious choices. As we waited for our drinks, we explored the two menus available: a Chef’s Tasting Menu and the regular à la carte offerings. Since we weren’t quite hungry enough for a full tasting experience, we chose the à la carte route and ordered a King Crab California Roll, a Spicy Tuna Roll, and the Chef’s Choice 7-piece nigiri. The portions were generous and more than enough for two to share. Our food arrived quickly, and from our seats we could watch the sushi chefs working skillfully behind the counter. The fish and vegetables were fresh, the rolls well-executed, and we enjoyed our meal with a second round of cocktails. Presentation wasn’t particularly memorable, but that would be the only critique. Service was friendly, though our server got swept up by a large tour group right after taking our order, so we didn’t see him quite as often as we might have otherwise. Even so, he made sure we had what we needed. Overall, pricing felt reasonable, and the earthy, moody atmosphere added to the experience. We’re glad we stopped in — and we’d happily return.
Everytime we stay in Vegas, we always dine at sushisamba. First up, the pao de quejos are a must order. The bread is so light and airy, yet deliciously cheesy. The rock shrimp and hachi are also delectable appetizers. The sushi is very fresh, as expected. The Chilean seabass skewers are something else. They’re so buttery and flaky and umami. The ramen is also really good, slightly salty for my taste
Good food and beautiful restaurant. Salt & Pepper squid was amazing. Their sushi is not bad, definitely decent, but the ramen was spot on, extremely delicious. Decor of this place is beautiful especially the bar that area, service was great too.
Great lunch at Sushi Samba in Vegas! The sushi was super fresh and delicious, and the service was excellent. Everything came out quickly and the atmosphere was great. Highly recommend for a quality sushi spot on the Strip!
Absolutely phenomenal experience! This Japanese and Latin American fusion sushi restaurant exceeded every expectation — the flavors were bold, fresh, and beautifully balanced in every bite. Each dish was a work of art, blending the precision of Japanese cuisine with the vibrant flair of Latin American ingredients. From melt-in-your-mouth sashimi to inventive rolls with tropical twists, the food was simply unforgettable and would definitely return The service was just as impressive — attentive, friendly, and genuinely welcoming without ever being intrusive. The atmosphere was calm and serene, perfect for a relaxed meal or a quiet conversation. It’s rare to find a spot that delivers such top-tier cuisine in such a peaceful setting. Truly a hidden gem!
Sonny!! Loved having him as our waiter, he was friendly & intuitive. He made a great impact on the overall experience. We had absolutely fantastic meals- sea bass was perfect, green beans and pao de queijo were a great start. Sushi rolls were all balanced and unique. 10/10 every time. The ambiance is fun, creative, and comfortable. Absolutely a favourite. Thank you!
We really enjoyed everything we got here! the food was outstanding, we really enjoyed the tiger maki roll as well as the yellowtail crispy taquitos!we would definitely come back for another meal next time we’re in vegas!
This place is truly a 20/10! Service was impeccable and the server was so thoughtful and detail oriented for a large group and catering to everyone trying/tasting many different items. The food was insanely good. I do not think one item disappointed. The Sea Bass skewers that they are known for are very much worth the order and melt in your mouth. We ordered a mix of apps, small plates, rolls, meats and raw and every time we were blown away. Highly recommend, and they take reservations. Will make sure to go back here next time I am in Vegas.
Recommend for the raw Salmon and Tuna, really delicious, and the seafood is great. The location is easy to find, service is very welcome and friendly. This is one of the must-have restaurants in Las Vegas
I made a last minute reservation and ate here by myself. Jade, my server, was WONDERFUL. So attentive and friendly! I absolutely loved everything I ate here— I tried the hamachi taco appetizer, the brazilian cheese bread, the matcha cocktail, the Vegas roll, and the asacevichodo roll. Thank you so much Jade for a warm welcome to Vegas!
This was the best dinner we had in Las Vegas. Louie our bartender was phenomenal and made me a wonderful cucumber lychee drink that was absolutely delicious. We had the pineapple ribs and my word we couldn’t stop eating them. Our “cheapest” meal was by far our absolute favorite we will be back
This place was so amazing I can not say anything bad about this place. The food, the service, the atmosphere all incredible! Mika was knowledgeable, friendly and made us feel very welcome. The was the best flavorful sushi we have ever had! This will always be our first stop when visiting vegas from now on.
Excellent upscaled restaurant, special occasion experience! Try testing menu, really good food! Excellent service and atmosphere! Sea Bass Anticucho is out of this world! Highly recommend!
Amazing experience, had lunch at Sushisamba and enjoyed every dish we ordered. Love the ambiance and the exceptional service.
Amazing food! My partner and I loved our meal and the service was fantastic too. Highly recommend if you’re a foodie who loves sushi & fusion cuisine
Sushi Samba was a random but pleasant find. This not so hidden gem is located in the Palazzo Grand Canal Shoppes when entering from the bridge that runs over the street connecting to the Wynn property. It is easy to walk by as there are many restaurants throughout the resorts, many of which are overpriced and leave something to be desired as far as food quality and taste. This restaurant was not one of those. My wife and I ended up there randomly after wandering around the shoppes we wanted a place to grab a quick bite. This was one of the few restaurants around that were actually open for lunch so we decided to try it. The restaurant is a fusion of Japanese and Peruvian cuisines. I usually don’t like fusion foods like that as they tend to be poorly executed and more gimmicky than anything else, however, this restaurant delivered on the theme. The service was friendly from start to finish. We were greeted and seated right away. The restaurant had a nice relaxing atmosphere. It wasn’t overcrowded and was quiet and easy to have a conversation in. The food was very well executed (highly recommend the ceviches, miso sea bass, and banana chocolate with the liquid toffee sauce). What was most impressive was our server. We had plans to eat at a buffet that night and so we didn’t want to have too much for lunch. We had initially been interested in the tasting menu priced at $100 per person. Our server quickly pointed out that it is a good amount of food and probably not what we want if we’re planning an all you can eat later that evening. He gave us great recommendations for food. There were a couple of other things we wanted to try but again our server recommended that we start with what we had already ordered and see if we want more later as we were going for a lighter lunch. To his credit he was absolutely right. We enjoyed every dish we had and the amount of food was just perfect. He didn’t try to upsell us and even told us when to pull back when he though we might be over ordering. His honesty was refreshing and his recommendations were excellent. We ended up going back the next day for the tasting menu and fortuitously ended up with the same server! Atmosphere: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Food: 5/5 Overall Value: 5/5 Price: $$$ $: $0 - $50 per person $$: $50 - $100 per person $$$: $100 - $200 per person $$$$: $200 - $500 per person $$$$$: >$500 per person
We had such an amazing experience! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The food and drinks were top notch, and we were especially impressed with the wonderful vegan options—something you don’t always find at sushi places. The prices were also completely affordable, especially for a Las Vegas sushi spot, which made the experience even better. What truly made our night unforgettable, though, was our bartender, Liz. She was not only friendly and attentive but also incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. Every drink she crafted was perfect, and she went above and beyond to make sure we felt taken care of. Liz’s energy and professionalism really elevated the whole evening. We’ll definitely be back again soon—thank you for such a wonderful time!
I've been to this restaurant a couple of times now, and it's quickly become one of my go-to spots. It’s almost always packed during dinner hours, so I highly recommend making a reservation ahead of time to avoid a long wait. Most of the dishes I’ve tried here have been consistently good, but the standout for me is definitely the Sea Bass Skewer. I order it every time I visit — it’s incredibly juicy, flavorful, and grilled to perfection.
Food. OUTSTANDING! Service. PHENOMENAL! Erica was just absolutely a pleasure! Top notch service, answered every question with all the answers we wanted! Amazing! Hands down one of the best experiences I’ve had dining out. Thank you so much!
My friends and I went to SushiSamba for lunch on my friends bachelorette trip and had an amazing time! The service was so fast and we had Jade who took amazing care of us. Jade hooked our bride up with a cutie dessert and every single dish was so so delicious~ some of our favorites were the Tonkotsu ramen and the Wagyu gyoza in the sweet potato puree!!
This place was a completely unexpected find, but it exceeded all my expectations. The service was outstanding, with attentive and knowledgeable staff. The food and drinks were delicious. Absolutely a 5-star experience! When I come back to Las Vegas, I will definitely visit again.
Celebrated a birthday here and it did not disappoint. They took us in fairly quickly on a walk in and the service was prompt. Food was delicious and definitely worth trying for a fusion flavor of Brazilian and Japanese food. It's basically Jiu Jitsu for you mouth.
Food was great and filling. Cute and fun drinks too! The desserts were delicious so please save stomach room for the end lol and we enjoyed a free pastry for our birthdays!!
Had a delicious dinner this evening. Sonny provided excellent customer service and even gave me a few birthday treats! He was so thoughtful and attentive and we really appreciated the service!
Sushi Samba shines with its amazing service and lovely ambience. The team is very attentive, and the dishes are thoughtfully prepared and beautifully presented. While the food was good overall, the experience is really elevated by the service and setting.
I went to Sushisamba at the Palazzo and ate at the bar. The restaurant did not disappoint. The food is a little pricey like most places in Vegas, but it was worth it. The food was delicious with amazing taste and flavor. I tried a little of everything and I enjoyed all the entrees I ordered. The gyoza and sushi were my favorites. The service was awesome, the staff is very attentive and gave excellent customer service. The restaurant has a great ambience and well decorated. I found out they have a happy hour from 3-6 pm, which I would definitely recommend. If you are staying in Las Vegas and want to try a great sushi restaurant check out Sushisamba.
This place definitely exceeded my expectations. Went with a group of people, we ended up doing the $90/person course. It was tapas style. There was enough food to go around, at least at our table. Everything I had was delicious and flavorful. It’s more on the pricier side, ofc since you’re in Vegas, but I honestly have no complaints. Would definitely go again in the future.
Sushisamba was delicious! If you’re in Vegas, and you like sushi, make a reservation! Our server was Simon F! He was awesome, friendly, and knowledgeable! Overall experience was a 10/10! 🌟
Went to the bar for food and drinks. I think I just found my fave bar in Vegas! Excellent food, drinks, and service. Susie and the bar gang were attentive and welcoming. DJ playing for the evening. Visited the spot twice during our short visit. Definitely coming back!
This was our first stop and we arrived in Las Vegas and checked into our hotel and it did not disappoint! Food was incredible. We had the beef Gyoza and the spicy tuna roll. Our fantastic bartender helped us pick a fabulous drink to go with our meal. This was such a great way to start our trip. I would definitely come back again!!
Great vibe. Amazing food. Incredible staff. Stopped in for dinner and everything was amazing. Great sake menu. Started with 6 oysters and then went with the chef special 7pc and each bite was perfect. Friendly staff kept drinks topped off and service moving. Comfy booth behind the bar. Will be back.
I’m vegan and had other dietary restrictions, Diana made sure to customise the best sushi rolls according to my needs. She was so sweet, listened patiently and accommodated everything perfectly. Had the best time. Coming back here everytime we are in Vegas!
We ordered the assorted vegetable tempura, pao de queijo, and the avocado roll and everything was great. The pao (the cheese bun) was a bit salty for us but that tasted good with the truffle butter too. Highly recommend this place.
Had such a great experience at Sushi Samba!! The food was seriously SO delish! Every dish was full of flavor & the attention to detail was incredible. Our server Diana was absolutely amazing. She was so sweet & attentive, super knowledgeable about the menu, able to answer any questions we had & even offered some great options for us to try, which we LOVED!!! Overall, everything was fantastic! Amazing food, amazing service & a great vibe. Highly recommend & cannnn’t wait to come back! (=
Excellent experience on everything - food, place, atmosphere! Beata - our waitress, made us best recommendations on food and drinks. We didn’t hesitate to ask for a dessert and it was just a masterpiece… P.S. Beata, thank you again! Kindly yours, couple from Florida :)
We had an amazing dinner at SushiSamba before the Backstreet Boys concert at the Sphere! The food was fresh and delicious, and the atmosphere was the perfect pre-concert vibe. Jules was our wonderful server — so attentive and sweet. She surprised us with complimentary birthday shots to celebrate, which made the night even more special. We’ll definitely be back!
I was a bit disappointed with this place. We ordered two $120 sets and a few drinks for three people, as I personally wasn’t very hungry. The food looked beautiful when it arrived, but the portions were quite small, and for me the dishes were too spicy. However, I really liked the drinks. What confused us was the billing. We specifically asked for two sets, but the server kept bringing plates meant to be shared among all three of us, which made us think everything was part of the two sets we ordered. In the end, when we asked for the check, we were charged as if we had ordered three sets. The total bill came to around $450 for three people, not including tip. My friends actually enjoyed the food a lot, so I would give the food 4 stars. But spending $450 and still leaving hungry — along with the confusion about the order and the bill — left a disappointing impression. I would also like to express my appreciation to the lady in the restroom who kept everything clean and handed out towels to dry hands. She was very attentive and kind, and her work did not go unnoticed!
We came here primarily for drinks. The service was professional. There was a 20 min wait for a table, but we grabbed a spot at the bar without any wait. I ordered a “Mango Batida” cocktail along with “Salmon Seviche” and loved how beautifully everything was presented. That said, I found the drink and food too sour for my taste, and the miso soup was overly salty. Nevertheless, we enjoyed the atmosphere and charming decor of the restaurant.
We visited Sushisamba inside the Venetian for lunch on a Saturday, and it was absolutely divine! Our group of eight ordered a wide variety of dishes - so many that I can’t even list them all -but every single one was incredible. Some standouts included the Brazilian cheese bread (2 orders) - the BUTTER was so delicious, Shishito Peppers, Yellowtail, Japanese Wagyu, A5 Wagyu Beef Gyoza (2 orders), Assorted Vegetable Tempura, Chicken Teriyaki (Samba Style), Ribeye Tobanyaki, and the Amazônia. Everything was perfect for sharing, especially with a larger group, and the drinks were just as impressive. Our waiter also had fantastic recommendations that made the experience even better. Highly recommend!
Kobe beef pot stickers were a incredibly good, very flavorful. The nigiri were fresh and specialty rolls were equally impressive. Fun atmosphere and solid service made it a very enjoyable night.
Had lunch at sushi Samba, the staff and the service is excellent. Had the pork belly ramen noodles soups. It was very good and flavorful. If you are sensitive to salt you might find it a little salty. For me to was great. I will order it again.
Very good and quite expensive. Great service with the exception of the, not so accommodating, head waitress/greeter that didn't want to give 4 of us a small booth, which we asked for twice. It only needed cleaning and would have made our day. Four people with a healthy appetite and budget jammed on a tiny table with nowhere to place everything and the smoke in our face from the hot stone, totally inappropriate and a departure from the very professional service. Kinda ruined it for us given the price. Top tip, get the ribs, they are outstanding, the wagu is not worth it. Spend was close to 100 per person.
Food is okay for me. A little exotic. Which is fine. But if you prefer standard options this isn't the place for you. One of our party ordered sushi and loved it. My wife and I ordered several different items and didn't particularly care for it. The primary reason for the three-star review was because the waiter we had wasn't very friendly. Bordering on rude, actually. We asked him about some of the items and he acted as if he didn't have time to go into it. It was also difficult to get his attention when he wanted something extra, or even to to get the check. Seems popular though.. I would suggest a reservation during busy times.
Price vs amount of food is a joke. 42usd+ tax for 6 pieces of a sushi roll? Not even sashimi. 9usd for one piece of nigiri? What...? We waited a lot for ordering, paying, everything inbetween. It is more a bar, than a restaurant... Loud music, in the middle of venetian open in the hallway. Not again...
