Excellent food and service with some uncommonly comfortable seating. I highly recommend them if you have a little time at the airport. The chip and salsa came out on a metal stand that was different, but accessible and tasted great. The shrimp burger was outstanding and the ribeye tacos were amazing. Our server Martin took great care of us. He watched us and made sure we had everything we needed on the spot. Thanks Martin.
Convenient sit-down eatery in the Los Cabos International Airport. For us, Corona Sport Bar Los Cabos International Airport was the right stop for a bite to eat and a drink before our departure flight. We had a good experience here—different than negative reviews I’ve read. The sports bar sits in the middle of the terminal action, separated by barriers from the milling flyers. The place was quite busy on our visit around lunchtime. We waited in a line to be seated, but our wait was fairly short, perhaps 10 minutes. The seating is varied, supporting parties up to larger groups, but is somewhat crowded and loud, usual for most airport dining of this type. Our server was attentive, friendly, and informative. The menu definitely has a Mexican theme; the offerings are varied. Our food came out after only a short wait. The tortilla soup was fantastic (TIP: I though this soup was exceptional; if you’re not sure what to get, pick the soup). The chips and sala were fine. The sandwich was good. The margaritas were decent. The price was a bit high but normal for an airport. The server was sensitive to our timing needs for aircraft boarding. Overall, I’d rate our experience as good; we had some decent food and drinks and relaxed prior to our flight—I’d eat here again on a future visit.
Overpriced, crappy food, poor service.
This is a bar and restaurant in the departure lounge upstairs in the Los Cabos airport. Average food, tastes good when hungry. Very crowded and unorganized. Service is slow, so you need lots of time.
Ordered fish tacos. Pathetic. They could have done much better. Very disappointing.
Service was spot on. This review has nothing to to do with the staff or quality of the drinks. The price. 800-1000% markup on cocktails is obscene for any country. All people need to unite and refuse to pay these ridiculous prices and put these bars our of business. One shot was $16 not counting tip. Noooooo.
One of the less exciting places we’ve been to. 2 stars at best. Second time here and at least they’re consistent lol - had to chase someone down to take the order after sitting and waiting forever. Not the smartest for an airport restaurant where people are waiting to catch flights. Friendly enough but truly on tropical time. Decent menu, airport prices. Come if you’re bored and have time to kill.
Awful food and so expensive. The o my good thing was the margarita, but for $240 I'd hope so! STAY AWAY unless desperate. Worst meal we have had in Mexico. Just feel sorry for the staff, must be zero tips for them 😔
Food wasn’t terrible but it was to expensive for such basic food and they charged us for cutlery that we didn’t use because we ate burgers... ordered onion rings and they never came. To anyone in the airport pick one of the fast food instead.
Make sure and wait until you get all your change and then count it
very high prices for something that looks like roadkill.
Worst mistake to eat here
Ugh
Bad food, overpriced
I wish I had read the reviews before choosing to eat here. I should have just went to Carl Jr’s. The food was beyond pathetic. I ordered a chicken quesadilla and it came out as 3 pressed chicken tacos with big chunks of what looked like boiled or steamed. I wanted to send it back but everyone else’s food looked bad too.
Be aware, you're charged a cover just to go in. Very expensive for terrible food and worst bloody mary I've ever had. Unfortunately it's the only sit down restaurant in this terminal so they get away with it. Will pack food next time.
The WORST food we had all week in Mexico. We should’ve ate before arriving to the airport, don’t make the same mistake we did!
My wife and I sat at a table and no one would come up to us for 45 mins but other people sat down and got service finally I had to sit at the bar to get a drink my paloma was good just the waitress and waiter that walked by us numerous times without acknowledging us at all but serviced the white people but failed to even offer us a menu maybe because we are a mixed race couple
$10 for an order of soggy cold fries. The chips were stale. Way over priced, even for an airport.
AVOID THIS PLACE! We each had 2 magaritas...4 drinks...$144.07 CAD. Insane.
Ripoff. $30 for a double Bloody Mary. I almost fell of my chair when I saw I paid $60 for two subpar drinks.
"Cover Charge" even though we paid for food we also paid just to sit!! Bad food, expensive food, undepaid servers asked for a tip. Hey Corona corporate you guys are blowing it here!!
Waaaaaaay over priced for subpar food...
$17 cover charge and $7 beers. Pass
Charge you $12 on top of your bill.
Overpriced drinks, slow service and uncomfortable seats.
They charged $88 USD for 2 8oz margaritas. We noticed a sign about charges so this is clearly a business strategy to scam customers. They should be shut down for these deceptive practices.
The food is wildly expensive and not great ($22 for a couple lousy fish/shrimp tacos, $17 for mediocre guacamole and rock hard chips). I love Mexican food, and had so much amazing food during my trip. But the food ay the corona sports bar is pretty lackluster. It's really the only place to sit and eat/drink before your flight, so kind of no choice. But just stick to alcohol because you'll waste your money on the food.
I made it all week at a resort feeing great with food and drink but should have known better than to eat here. The shrimp burger tasted good but definitely made me get montezumas revenge my first day back at work. I feel terrible and I know it was from this place. Also it’s very expensive for what we got
This was easily the worst restaurant I've ever been to. My burrito was and old tortilla with Franks sauce on it. Three entrees and 4 beers for 120US$ made it also the most expensive meal we had the whole time we were in Mexico.
If there was a way to give it a zero i would. I, along with 3 friends, stopped at this place on our way out of town. We all made it 4 days without any sort of GI incident and our last stop for a drink and a bite to eat was the Corona Bar. Needless to say the Skirt Steak Tacos were disappointing in more ways than one. When we got them they looked nothing like what was expected but even worse all 3 of us ended up getting montezuma's revenge. I did not get it as bad as my friends. For me it lasted about 8 hours. For the other two it lasted between 16 to 24 hours. Avoid this place like the plague since thats pretty much what you can expect.
Service was slow. One of our party ordered pasta that said it had a white sauce. Came out as buttered noodles. Half of which were over cooked and dry. They charge a fee to have the privilege of being a patron and then you get to over pay for sub par food. Which contained msg. Stick with the fast food places available!
I’m totally not happy with this restaurant, we asked for a table for 6 and got put in a table for 4. The restaurant was not busy and there were a lot of open tables. When we asked the hostess if we could move a two person table over, which was only 3 feet away, she looked at the server as if she did not understand English. We felt oh well we can live with it and we sat down, we’ll just move closer together. Then the server came to our table and asked us all on one bill and we asked to have 3 separate bills. He said no. It was obvious in my mind they did not want our business. When we went to this same restaurant in April of this year the food was good but very over priced but we were on holidays and felt ok, but this was the last straw. I will not be back and I’ll be telling everyone of my friend and anyone one else that goes though the San Jose Airport that it’s a rip-off.
This place has a great location and they know it. Asked for a table for 6 and they added 2 chairs to a 4 person table. When we asked them for an extra table they just stood there looking at us like they didn’t understand, the place was less than half full but they must want to keep as many tables open as possible. We relented and sat down crammed together. Then when we asked for separate bills the waiter replied 1 bill per table, we said no, 3 bills please, no, 1 bill per table was the answer. So we got up and left, I told the manager why we were leaving and he said have a nice flight. They lost 6 people today and will never go back.
This review isn’t for the restaurant but for the STORE. The girl working there at 1pm today was VERY rude and pushy with me and my boyfriend. SHE CHARGED ME WAY MORE THAN SHE WAS SUPPOSED TO!! Luckily I checked my bank account after I purchased my shirts and I noticed it was incorrect. I went with my family to tell her what she did and she acted dumb. She never gave me my receipt nor a signature,PLUS she “couldn’t find it” even though I had just purchased it. We went in looking for T-shirt’s because we couldn’t find corona shirts in Cabo. She kept watching us and wouldn’t let us look and shop in peace. She the younger girl pictured in the pictures of this company at the corona store. Someone really needs to follow up on this and needs to keep an eye on her!!! She knows what she did and who knows who else she could have done this too!!!
So we all know airport food is overpriced. Fine. But this place takes it to the next level. It was a late flight, everything else was closed. We glanced at some of the prices and accepted it was what it was - I take full responsibility for not looking closely... A burger, French fries, chicken wings, and two cokes: $77 cad, roughly $55 usd. And.. It wasnt bad, it wasn't good, it's what you'd expect at a fast food place like A&W. Service was fine, we even complained about the price saying it was ridiculous to pay $240 pesos for fries... And the server agreed and simply said "airport food, yeah it's always pricey" Someone is doing a social experiment here to find out just how much people will pay when they are tired and hungry and distracted. There you have it. $77 dollars. Do you want to be part of the experiment?
Honestly the worst service I’ve experienced . The server Armando tried to first hit on my friend and I when he literally asked us about our boyfriends (who were with us) . We asked for a separate bill, but he came back with one bill. Then when we got our order he tried to rip us off with the payment to get money for himself and thought that since it was 2 girls alone he could scam us. So when we comforted him about the price 2 other employees came and cornered us, and were speaking in Spanish laughing at us. This was the worst service I’ve got during my trip in cabo. Might as well get yogen fruz at the airport.
Group of 4 of us ate here. Corona brand logos at the corona sports bar. The chips were stale, my salad was literally 4 pieces of iceberg lettuce on top of a handful of shredded cheese for ten bucks. Everyone else's food was on par with mine. I'm not really sure if it was possible to care less about the food at a premium price.
