Thanks Shea.😙 My 2 nephews and I enjoyed 7 games of bowling, 4 rounds of laser tag, glow ball mini-golf (18 holes) and $30 worth of fun cards for taking the online surveys. Had a ball playing air hockey, giant pac-man, giant space invaders and a variety of other arcade style games. Staff was very helpful, courteous and professional! Recommendation to all adults: While bowling, purchase the Teriyaki glazed Salmon plate ($14 + $20 funcard) for only $24.95 ($9.05 savings) plate included rice pilaf, green beans, red bell peppers and a nice portion of teriyaki glazed Salmon cooked to perfection and very delicious!!! (See pic) Management was nice enough to split the $20 funcard into 2 $10 funcards for each nephew. By the way, if I haven't mentioned it yet, my nephews had a great time also.😂😂😂 To management: remind all staff of the importance to be polite, helpful, courteous and professional. It causes customers to write wonderful reviews, return in the future and recommend Main Event Entertainment to all families as a wonderful place to have an enjoyable evening of fun!!! Note: Purchased 3 evening passes ($18.95 each) evening session was from 5pm - 12am (closing) 7 games bowled were two separate sessions but paid for shoes only once. Cost for shoe rental was $4.25 each.

Main Event deserves five stars! I came here for a company event with 50 people and the staff went above and beyond. They were accommodating, helped with translating, and made sure we were cared for until the very last guest left. Truly exceptional service!

We went and bowled for a while and got Gigi as our server. She was super sweet, made sure we had everything we needed, suggested a meal for me that would fit my diet and helped modify it 😜 The food we got was great (didn’t taste like “bowling alley food”) and even though we went on a day that was super packed, Gigi was always on top of things and made sure everyone was having a good time.

Amazing atmosphere and energetic staff. Loved every minute of fun my friends and I had here. Definitely worth the visit!!!

We had a group event on a Sat to go bowling … Wheat was our server at the lanes and did an amazing job. We were all the way at the end and he was attentive, quick, and friendly. He got napkins, drink refills and was so helpful and positive. The lanes at the end were great .. our reservation was at 12:30 and everything was ready to go on time … excellent experience … would for sure come back! Thanks! (We have come numerous times on monday PM and it is really busy but still great - we really appreciate the monday madness deal night! This was the first time we bowled and it was great!) So i always take the opportunity to go to M.E, the games are great, and the activities are always a winner. Service is good, food could be a little better (but im spoilt by the Austin food scene) But never have i been approached by a manager! Ashton was so sweet and funny and it was such a nice change for the service.

We can’t for Valentine’s Day and had a great experience. We had some questions but Ashton really helped us out. He solved our problem right away. But everything else was absolutely amazing.

Wow! First time at a Main Event in Austin and I am beyond blown away by the customer service. When we walked up, Crystal was so informative and patient in helping us navigate the inside. Crystal told us about the $12.99 special they have on Mondays at 4pm which was a steal! Hannibal at the bar is incredible too! So great at multi tasking and ensuring bar is fully stocked while also providing above and beyond service. Gabby assisted us quickly at the bowling lane counter and had such an upbeat and positive attitude. When we got to the lane we weren’t sure how to order but Cedric popped up and took great care of us. Was very efficient and ensured our food came out in a timely manner. Thank you Crystal, Hannibal, Gabby and Cedric. Had such a great Labor Day here! It’s hard to find amazing service like this! We will for sure be back 💛

Ashton helped us and was amazing very kind and Energetic , brandon also Assist us in was wonderful. We had a birthday party of nine and they helped us figure out the right package for our kids. Highly recommend this place and if you do come in, make sure you speak with Brandon or Ashton they are amazing.

The family loved it. Been here a few times and we have never been disappointed. Food and mixed drinks are yummy. Games are fun and almost all are in working order. Decent game payout too (unlike Austin's).

Very chilling place for entertainment here in Austin. Offering ALL-YOU-CAN-PLAY ACTIVITIES for playing Bowling, Billiards, Laser Tag, Gravity Ropes and much more lot of fun games for kids as well as youngsters. Too much crowded during weekends including Friday night. Great concession on weekdays. Great atmosphere/ambience and inside with quality people. Nice taste restaurant, Casino PlayStation, kind cooperating service staff, neat and clean restrooms are good attraction to motivate people visit frequently. Enjoyed a lot 😊

I had my son birthday party here last week my party host was Maria she was the sweetest girl she was so fun and played with my son and his friends and went over the contract with me and explain everything well I 100% recommend her for yall party host

Had a wild hair to sneak out with my youngest in the middle of the night to go waste some money! This was a great spot for it too! My kid got a free soda from the bartender! That was our biggest perk of the night! Great arcade! There could have been more of the classic games, but I’m old so what do I know??? My son had a great time. Good for family bowling/gaming arcade, having visited Fort worth Main event which had rope climbing, was looking for similar activity but didnt find in here. Attached the pricing for events as of December 2023. Food is good, cafeteria is beat and cleaned regularly. Gaming experience was nice and staff fixed a machine which we reported. Have a good gaming

Went during the weekend with my kid and some of his friends. We had some pizza & funnel fries. Very delicious food. After the kids had some fun and got some things from for the points they had. All the kids left happy and full. My kid told me later that evening he had a great time!! Sucess!!

This is a great place to host a birthday party or family time. There is plenty of activities for everyone to enjoy such as bowling and video games. The hostess was very friendly, helpful and served our pizza in a timely manner. I would recommend this location super pleasant experience.

Overall experience was good, server/host was great, but food was bland, chicken tenders didn't have any seasoning, pizza was ok, and the mac&cheese was also bland. Game wise the girls loved running around playing all the games.

It’s been a super busy Saturday night. It took us about an hour to get our wings that we ordered but Nina was amazing. She checked in on us multiple times and took great care of us. Came in for the first time today staff was very friendly and was able to explain the passes and bundles that they have. We got the bundle and got a good amount of time on bowling. Didn’t have to wait in line. The place is big and they even have food! It was affordable indefinitely, worth the price

First time coming here. They had a lot of game options. Bowling/pool/laser tag/arcade games/party rooms. We got the laser tag option and played it 3 times which was worth the money. I believe the play times were 8 mins long which felt good enough. Sadly the putt putt course was closed for some reason. They do sell a package that includes everything minus the arcades which would have been a good deal it mini golf was open. All of the arcade games worked and were pretty easy to get bonuses for tickets. The prize room had really good options compared to other places. We felt our money was spent well here. They also do military discounts. Will be back in the future.

We had a birthday party at Main Event for my son who turned 8. We had an amazing time! We booked the party for ten kids, bowling and laser tag. The boys had so much fun. Additionally, I booked two extra lanes and had an order for extra food for siblings and parents which kept everyone entertained, fed, and affordable. Lastly, the party package includes arcade cards so they were able to enjoy the arcade for a good while. One thing to be aware of is laser tag is only 15 minutes long. With the party package, you get a party coordinator so as a parent, you can just enjoy the party without having to really plan what's next and everything just keeps moving along. The boys definitely got rowdy but the atmosphere was great for it. It's a large enough venue with music that their noise got drowned out by music and tvs and arcade music.

We came for my daughter’s 15th birthday as a family. It was a great experience. First, Mikayla helped us pick what gaming options were best for us. She was very helpful and patient as we went back and forth on what was the best fit for us. Nikki was our server while we bowled and she was very attentive. Then I had a really fun interaction with a staff member, Keoni. We bonded over the importance of having large to go cups, which main event does, and she made sure she brought me one so I could get a soda to-go. Great experience all around.

You can tell the team genuinely cares about their customers, which made the whole visit feel special. Will definitely be back!

I visited this place for a bowling session with two friends, and it turned out to be a great experience. We booked our slot online for 6 PM on a Sunday, and it wasn’t overly crowded, which made it even more enjoyable. The overall setup is well-maintained, and the atmosphere is perfect for a fun outing. It’s a solid spot to relax, unwind, and spend quality time with friends.

We have always loved Main Event. This was our first time back after living out of state for 8 years. It did not disappoint! We got the $19.95 unlimited play wristband(only $10.95 after 9pm on Fridays) which allows you to play any game(pool, bowling, rock climbing, glow golf, and laser tag) as much as you want until they close. The arcade games are not included but they had a special on those as well but we didn't purchase it. Main Event is good clean fun and we will definitely be back with our kids. Even though some activities have height limits for younger kiddos, there is still plenty to do. The only disappointments I had(hence the four stars) were that we arrived a few minutes before 9:00 and we didn't know about the $10.95 special. We gladly would have waited the extra 5-10 minutes to get the bands half price but at least we know for next time. Also, the food was not very good and the restrooms were dirty, probably because it was a busy Friday night but they could still have had someone check them. We still had a blast and will definitely be back!

The front desk people were great they made us come twice!! We’re Out of town visitors and they really had their customer service skills down and their pricings are fair for a large family to have fun! Atmosphere was great and worthwhile . Recommend for a date . Friends or family !

We selected this location as our primary location on a Saturday night. Our family members were gathering tonight as a result of our visit to see them. When we walked into the facility, the front desk was not able to accommodate us for well over an hour and a half. Some of the kids went to feed the game machines and play the video games while we waited and called around for space. It seemed like a great place for our family night out, but this location was not able to make that work. I checked around the area and saw that the food area, video games area, the party area were all clean and orderly. There were many people in the facility at this time.

This is the perfect place to go with a group of people when you dont know what you want to do. They have Games, Bowling, Pool, Rock Climbing, Mini golf, Lazer Tag, A full bar and a mini restaurant. The price point is a little high and flat out confusing in some respects. Went there to play some pool and was told by reception they had some 7$ unlimited pool thing going on but then the guy at the bar said it was 7$ per 30 minutes during prime but it wasn't prime time so it was 6$ per 30 minutes or something like that. Those rates do not seem to be posted anywhere at the location so I ended up doing the typical 'whatever, just give me pool stuff.' I will also mention you don't get to choose your stick so if your handed a crooked one.. that is what it is unless you make an issue out of it. The food is decent but highly priced as you would expect. The drinks are great with many options. All of the staff was super nice and I have never had any issue with the service I have received at this location in the 10 or so times I have been there. Over all I would say its a great place to have a little party given the wide amount of options available to you. You will also never be without a TV in front of you in the bar/bowling area giving it a nice 'sports bar' kinda feel.

Great place for kids and adults. More geared for kids obviously, but similar concept in the arcade as Dave and Buster's. Rock Climbing area is good for beginner rock climbers, no challenging routes, but a good way to keep muscle up. The hand holds are enormus and the routes are not challenging. Family enjoys coming for a few hours and then it's a little too much stimulation, so perfect for a small mid afternoon break.

We came at 1:00 pm on a Friday and it was pretty dead besides a kid birthday party. On some of the games we tried only one player worked which kinda sucked for my son and daughter who wanted to play together. There were no out of order signs on such games so I was outta such money. Overall I would say my kids had a blast and we will be back to try the food and maybe some other activities that are offered.

Great place to have fun, go wild or just chill. You can rock climb, play laser tag, play pool, do bowling, play golf, play at the arcade, and eat delicious food. Although we encountered several machines that didnt work and the bowling lane we had kept messing up, we still had fun and managed to have a great day at main event. The greater at the door on our way in and the one on our way out were really nice and actually made us feel at home, we believe that was a nice addition to main event, keep it up!! We cant wait to come back.

Really fun day with the company. I used to come here when I was a kid, 20 years ago, and it's been significantly improved, and incredibly clean compared to years prior. Loses a star because the pizza is the worst pizza I've ever experienced. It barely qualified as food. Dry bread with tomato sauce, flavorless cheese, and chicken chunks that had been freezer burnt. At least it was hot, I guess.

A very nice place to spend some time with your friends. The games playground area is in great condition, the bowling section it's great but the tables and sitting spot near it is kinda small and you may be very close to other partys. The bar section is clean and very well lit, the pool tables are in a ok condition but you may find a lot of the cues very deteriorated, some of the tables are stained (all this is very understandable due to the fact that they are free of charge to use) and good place to practice you game to be honest. The staff has been amazing all the time I had been there and is all across the different sections of the building, kudos to them (sometimes you can see them exercising a lot of patience and being very professional to those "no so good customers")

Had a company event here recently. Nice place to bowl. Has pool tables, food , and an open bar. Nice little arcade. Mostly kid games out has some shooters for adults. Couple old school arcade games as well. Staff were friendly. Meal order was timely and good for a big box bowling alley/arcade. Would recommend for events or just bowling with friends.

I went to Main Event tonight and sat in the bar while my son was playing games. I ordered a Chicken Caesar flatbread. The waitress came back a few minutes later and said the kitchen was confused because they don’t have a chicken Caesar flatbread on the menu. I opened the menu and pointed to the chicken Caesar flatbread sandwich and said that was what I wanted. The waitress left and came back a few minutes later and said that it’s a chicken Caesar sandwich and they don’t have a chicken flatbread. I said in either case that’s what I want to order. Am I the crazy one here ?

Attended a large company event recently and the staff in the event room were polite and helpful. Once we got to the floor and started playing, golfing and doing lazer tag the staff there were rude. Even a manager at the bar completely ignored us. A simple acknoledgement and telling us someone would be with us soon would be the least he could have done. Very off vibe.

We had a lot of fun! But I have had a couple of experiences here that annoy me. The last time we went we wanted to eat but they would not clean off a table for us and told us we could sit in the bar but I told them no because I don’t like my kids sitting in the bar area. But this time we ate while bowling and we had a good waiter. We bought the all inclusive package that include everything but games. We decided to buy a $20 game card but found out it has a $2 activations fee (WHAT WHY)! Other then that we love the bowling, laser tag, rock climbing and mini golf!

I am writing to provide feedback regarding the service we received for our recent event . While we appreciate the flexibility shown by the event manager and sales rep regarding our gel blaster request ( which is why we are giving it an 2 star), our overall experience with the party host service was well below expectations. For instance, we were disappointed that despite arriving 45 minutes early, our party was not acknowledged until the official start time. It was also discouraging to see guests who arrived after us greeted before we were. We believe that acknowledging guests as they arrive, even if their area isn't ready, would significantly improve the guest experience. Furthermore, our assigned host was largely absent throughout the event. We found ourselves independently handling tasks such as setting up the bowling lanes, locating rags to clean spills with their own supplies, and getting serving items for our cake. This level of self-service is not what we expected when booking a hosted party package. Based on this experience, we would not recommend booking an event here if you expect dedicated hosting. I believe that providing a more consistent and present host would greatly improve the service provided for hosted events.

I was at the facility three times in the past week and the experience was below average every time. The staff is not friendly. The facility is not clean. It has a dark gloomy ambience which I don't enjoy. We had call the waiter multiple times before he took our order. The quality of the food is below average.

I don't know. Maybe my hopes were too high with this being my first time here, but I expected WAY more for the cost. Would NOT recommend this place for birthday parties. Not only are they unorganized, but to be "rushed" through your party activities was disheartening. No space for our guests, annoyed hosts, and lack of service made this a really terrible experience. We couldn't even use our passes to play laser tag in a timely manner. I'm sure it's probably fine if your there on your own, but for birthday parties, you're probably better off choosing more of a kid friendly place.

I’ve never been to a bowling alley that didn’t oil its lanes. Just… wow. Total no spin zone as you’ll gutter 3/4-way up the lane. Also, no half-sized shoes, nothing larger than a size 12 shoe and the worst selection of balls you can imagine. But, hey, bowling is gonna suck no matter what, because no one here observes etiquette anyway. People will use your ball and run up next to you while you’re lining up your shot. We tried three of the six pool tables and none of them were true. Your ball is gonna go weird places. The cues all suck too, but that’s to be expected, so I don’t hold that against them. Lots of chalk though. The web site says all games all night for $12.99 starting at 4p, but when you get here, they tell you that arcade games are a separate $12.99 charge. This place blows. But the bartender was chill, so that’s something.

I used to love coming to this main event with my family, it used to be pretty cheap and affordable, now the prices are super high. The food over the years has been unpredictable, with the food being decent the first few years, then becoming old and disgusting, and now back to half decent, but also very expensive. The chocolate shake was okay, the shirley temple was good, the fries/pizza/pretzels were mediocre. My favorite activity used to be the rock climbing which has been taken down and replaced with this Gel Blaster activity, which is basically a weird laser tag. I heard from a worker that they took down the rock climbing because they got sued for a kid becoming paralyzed. The laser tag has been “upgraded” meaning they have new suits and guns, which work okay, but are still hard to use and confusing. You have to sign up to use the laser tag but it doesn’t make any sense because barely any people play it. The suit smelled disgusting and like it had never been sanitized. The bathrooms also smelled disgusting, the women’s bathroom had a sanitary dispenser which was completely empty, and most of the toilets had some disgusting concoction in them. If you want a locker it’s 25cents which doesn’t sound bad, until nobody has a quarter/change including the employees. Mini golf course is so vandalized and broken down, everything from the walls to the decor has holes/writing/and who knows what else. It used to be kind of difficult, but they’ve dumbed down the mini golf way too much. Another thing that people have to enter spaced out. Some of the attractions in mini golf like the pirate ship were just broken in general. We tried to play an arcade game, but a card cost $3 each, I had a card from the previous visit, and they wouldn’t accept it, or allow us to recharge the credits on it. Crazy high costs for few games. Bowling was pretty fun, the pins weren’t the most reliable, but it was good. Overall we still had fun as a family, but it was peppered in between disappointments.

The operations manager struggled to effectively address customer needs and often demonstrated poor judgment in handling situations.

Some of the worst, most disinterested foodservice I’ve ever experienced. Kids had fun playing games but restaurant experience was shameful.

Went on a Friday at 3pm wasn’t very busy which was nice. Bowling was fun but there were no servers for a while! I kept Going up to the desk to try and order but was just looked at. Finally someone came. Food took forever and was so cold! My kids Shirley temple had nine of the candy even tho every other person around us that ordered it got it. Drinks were flat i got 3 separate drinks and each one had no fizz and no syrup. The blaster game sucks!! Paid the extra for the unlimited and only went 1 time it was that bad! The things don’t shoot at all the entire time we played it was fully jammed for all 3 of us. A lot of games were broken not to mention every single claw machine there is super rigged. Several times did we win a prize just for it to fill pull up and move towards the opening to drop and the claw just opens for no reason. This place is over priced half the crap is broke. Dave and busters is better.

Booked a kids birthday party - it didn't went well. Booked a party at 7:30 PM, Was asked to show up 15 mins early - had to wait for more than 30 minutes, got the party space at 7:50 PM. As a host had to wait for more than 30 minutes for the table, all the guest had to do all the setup in front of guests :( There was no communication between the staff and the person receiving at the guests at the lobby - NOT GOING HERE AGAIN

Rude staff and the "unlimited" plan isn't actually unlimited. They kicked us off our bowling lane before we even got to finish a single game because they were overbooked.

I frequent a few spots in the area and this will not be one of them. The lanes are absolutely unkempt, there are deep streaks in the lane and there was NO oil on them.At one point we were bowling and a snapped screw was hitting out ball in lane 6. Any gentle curve was had to keep from ripping in that direction immediately. The house balls looked like they were pulled from a gators mouth they were so chewed up. The service was not good. We spent 130 dollars in 2 hours and the waitress answer to refilling our beverages was get it yourself. Very Blasé attitudes across our entire experience. Finally the ladies restrooms were out of toilet paper and would make a random interstate gas station blush. None of this would bother me at all different price point than the one we were at. I would recommend ANYWHERE else to go bowling. Very disappointed.

I don’t think I’ve ever been more frustrated. This place is straight not worth the money. We waited 35 minutes for someone to even take our food order. We were told to just go to the bar to order. 10 minutes standing at the bar to be helped. 20 more minutes waiting for food. Bowling lane finally ready after being told 25 minute wait.. took 1 hour. Went to get shoes, lady behind the counter straight ignored me. I asked why I was being ignored, she shrugged her shoulders and told me she was there to help a party, not me. I asked for a refund on the bowling lane since I clearly could not get shoes for my daughter and I. She pointed at the line out the door and told me to get in line for a refund. To say I was livid was putting it mildly. I had already paid for everything and no one cared. Finally, one person takes pity on us and offers to help us. Not a manager in sight. I spent $200 on a lane, drinks, and food, and never ever again will I come back to this place. Edit: Right before we leave, still waiting for my daughter’s pizza. She is starving. Waiter tells us they ran it to the wrong table accidentally and need to remake it. You can’t make this up.
