La vista es simplemente relajante, el pasar de la gente y ver diferentes culturas (turismo) es interesante, servicio de primera y precios de promoción en bebidas, comida algo caro

Excelente servicio, calidad y sabor en los alimentos, su vista es espectacular al atardecer

Llegamos buscando dónde comer alitas y tenían una promoción de 10 alitas x $100 pesos y la corona en $25 el resto de los platillos me parecieron normales en relación .

Bebidas deliciosas acompañadas de una excelente vista al mar, ideal para disfrutar un rato de descanso con los amigos después de pasear un poco. El servicio fue muy amigable y definitivamente volvería a ir.

I've had a breakfast and two lunches here. Excellent food including the presentation. Sitting on the beach with my feet in the sand eating a delicious meal. Wow! Can't get much better than that!

What an Excellent beach front place to stop for lunch and beer! Friendly staff. Choice of on the sand dining area or open air building. Ordered a burger and fries and a chicken quesadilla. All came promptly and we're delicious. Huge portion size. We will return!

The Sea Monkey to the rescue 🐒💦✨ New Year’s Eve in Puerto Vallarta 🎆 We were walking the Malecón 🚶‍♂️🌊, all the way to the pier, plotting the perfect spot for the drone show and fireworks 🎇🤖. What we did not plan for was hunger. Serious hunger 😅🍽️. Enter The Sea Monkey 🐒✨ If you don’t know it, it’s the Malecón restaurant with the ever-changing palapa hat. And on one of the busiest nights of the year, minutes before midnight, they welcomed us like old friends. Past 11pm. No reservation. Front beach. Front row to fireworks. Same menu. Same prices. The manager even brought out an extra table so we could sit immediately 🙌. On New Year’s Eve. Legends. Huge hug to the entire staff 🤗💛 Friendly, calm, great spirit, even while working that night. You could feel the good vibes ✨😊. We ordered like people who skipped dinner 😂🍤. Breaded shrimp tacos to start 🌮🍤, plus my always-favorite shrimp cocktail 🍹🦐 (so good). For mains, the Orangutang burger with mushrooms and onions 🍔🍄🧅, and shrimp fajitas that were an absolute killer 🔥🦐. Add two margaritas 🍹🍹, a limonata 🍋🥤, and a joyful midnight 🎁. My 2026 heroes and the year just started ✨🥂 Happy New Year, Sea Monkey 🐒 We’ll be back!

We visited this beach restaurant 6–7 times during our stay, simply because it was the only place where we truly felt relaxed, welcomed, and treated like human beings ,not like tourists. The beachfront setup with loungers right in the sand is perfect, and there is no pressure to consume or spend. The whole team is incredibly chill, kind, attentive, and genuinely generous. The beach servers especially took such good care of us every time, without ever being intrusive. The food was consistently more than satisfying ,we tried the burrito, tacos, guacamole ,and everything was delicious. Even the cocktails were honest and well-made, with real alcohol, not the watered-down versions you often find in tourist areas. This was the only place where we could simply breathe, enjoy the ocean, and feel completely at ease. That’s why we kept coming back, day after day. Thank you to the entire team for your hospitality, your warmth, and your way of welcoming people just as they are. Please keep being exactly like this ,it’s what makes your place so special. We will happily return again and again. A special thank you to the beach servers (Jaime and his Team) for their kindness and care.

Great spot on the beach. They have a drink special each night for 99pesos and the drinks are lovely and strong. Staff are super friendly and there is a restaurant the bar belongs to where you can get food.

Great prices, great food! Ask for the drink specials! Right on the beach. Great spot to grab a table during the day and enjoy the view. The shrimp avocado salad was AMAZING! Chicken wings were very good!

Great place, right on the Malecon. I had the house speciality coconut shrimp and it was absolutely delicious! Big serving too, with potatoes cakes and corn on the cob. I definitely recommend it.

We went there 8 morning out of 10day this vacation. Best coffee and view with toes in the sand. The staff are great and we considered them friends. Will be there next year. Oh and the best French Toast.

Great place for lunch on the beach or indoors! We loved the fish and chicken tacos along with our cold drinks! There was relaxing live guitar music while we ate. We even had whale sightings! No pressure to leave right away. The vendors do come by your table to try to sell you things. Seems to have a lot of loyal customers. Very clean bathrooms.

We came to Sea Monkey for an afternoon snack and we got a beautiful view as well. Just soft drinks and the Guacamole dip but it gave us time to relax from walking the Malecon and cool off. We would come back here!

A good value place on the seafront. Decent food and drinks and a great view. Tables inside (but still open air) and right on the beach. Massive salads. Not fine dining, but comfortable and reliable. Excellent and friendly service. This is our go to place for casual dining. Great for people watching or for a sunset. I think it is the best on this beach.

The service and atmosphere was excellent, and the food was ok. We had the jalapeño poppers and they had a good flavor but the middle was not as hot as it should have been. The tortilla soup was pretty good. The enchiladas were actually great! The shrimp was something that I really did not care for. I would go back again but would try something different.

Nice spot right on the beach in the romantic district, with reasonable prices. The nachos were decent, a generous portion with a good amount of cheese. Service was pretty good, they were very busy, so it did take a bit longer. The biggest takeaway from the experience was honestly the constant steady stream of people hawking items at you. Expect it to occur every 2-5 minutes the entire time that you are there.

We went here for breakfast on a weekday and it was fine because it’s not frantic. They have home-made cinnamon breads and some pastries too. The mimosa comes with a breakfast meal. It's a beautiful place to hangout during the early hours because the local vendors are not there yet and they get to the point that you had enough interruptions from them. They get so pushy sometimes when you ignore them and they will you this " psssst!!" sounds just to get your attention. The breakfast food is mediocre...as expected. But what really is disturbing is the SMELL OF RAW SEWAGE coming out just few feet away. It was so intense and it made my stomach churn. The smell could be a seasonal thing and just so happens that we were there. Maybe...just maybe I would come here for another day but just for cocktails.

Cash only and if you pay in Dollars it's 16 to 1. Our bill was1556 pesos or $98 but it gave them an extra $18 because of their conversion. Took our family of 4 here. Food was good but not worth what we paid. Service was slow but kind. The cold towels were appreciated! Pizza was the best out if everything.
