We have enjoyed lunch, dinner, and take-out at this gem of a restaurant. Always delicious and fresh, and always great service! Very authentic and beautifully decorated restaurant. The lunch special is a bargain with eggroll and choice of soup included!
I have been here a couple of times and I love it. The food is always fresh and delicious. This last time I tried the Golden Ribeye and it was amazing. The portion sizes are good and the service is always top-notch. I always recommend this restaurant to my friends when they ask for good Asian food.
The food was fantastic and incredibly fresh. Everything came out quickly and was easy to order. The staff were very friendly and there was no sense of being rushed. I loved my experience here and would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone, especially families. It’s a warm and family-oriented place and I’ll definitely be coming back.
This restaurant is bit of a drive for me, but so worth it! We were a large group, and there was some confusion when we showed up, we possibly didn't communicate to the right restaurant we were coming. But let me say they were immediately welcoming, and service was AMAZING! Which matches the food. The food is fresh and service hot. Portion are large.
Stopped in for lunch with a group of friends. We were seated promptly. An extensive menu offers lots of choices as well as lunch specials Monday through Friday. Beer and wine beverages are available, no spirits. We enjoyed specials like Kung Pao chicken, General Tso chicken, Salt and pepper calamari, lettuce wrap, and more. The soup choices were served hot and were delicious. My General Tso chicken was savory with a modest chili pepper kick and some water chestnuts, onions and peppers. My hot and sour soup was rich and spicy. Others enjoyed their food and had leftovers for later at home. Venue is clean and modern, service was good. We all agree it is a satisfying choice for quality food and drinks.
This place was FKN delicious...everything about it was on point. From the huge spicy wontons to the loaded soup dumplings my mouth was dancing the entire meal. As 9 started off with the spicy wontons and soup dumplings I couldn't help wonder how delicious the rest of their apps were. 😋 lemme say this I plan on trying all of them. The Sesame Chicken was not only crispy but sweet and spicy....cooked perfectly. The service here was outstanding, there was only one server and he rocked thank you Ronald. We will definitely be back on the regular
All the dishes we have ordered were tasting good.
We went there for lunch and thoroughly enjoyed the menu. The taste and quality of the food were excellent, and our family, including the kids, loved it. Everyone was fully satisfied. The location is perfect. The only downside was the long wait time to place our order, which was surprising given it wasn’t too crowded. Hopefully, they improve this in future visits. We’ll definitely recommend this place and return again.
Their food is good. The chicken is usually pretty fresh. We frequently get takeout from here and they’re always excited for their cheesy fry dish. Normally it has waffle fries and it appears they changed it to steak fries so I took a star away. Steak fries suck they should go back to waffle fries otherwise it’s pretty good. You should try it out.
We stopped by around 7:30pm for dinner on a Friday night and it was not busy at all. There were more people waiting for takeout orders than were in the restaurant. Our favorite item was the Spicy Wontons appetizer. The General Tso’s Chicken was not spicy and the Fried Rice lacked flavor. The Pan Fried Crispy Noodles were tasty. Our waiter, Dane, was awesome and checked on us frequently. The location is very convenient so we will continue to eat from here.
Let me say first and foremost thing about their ambience and service is best. We went to this place referred by some of our friends, first impression was their ambience and the customer friendly people. One order is enough for 2 people. They can adjust with your dietary preferences, i ordered vegan curry, and it’s absolutely amazing, my family ordered non veg items, they are equally good. Definitely nice place to try, if you want to try something different
Went there last night for my birthday for the first time. My kids had been with my parents and liked it. So I thought since it was a lot closer than where I actually wanted, we would try it out. Walked in with my kids and was immediately seated, which was really nice but we had to wait 20+ minutes for anyone to actually come to our table to take drink/app orders. They were nice but tried walking off before I could tell them about wanting appetizers. My kids got the wonton soup. It was barely lukewarm at best. Its like they dumped a carton of boxed broth into a bowl and thawed out wontons. The "soup" dumplings finally came out... without soup in them. The only liquid that came out was the condensation from being in the box. The outside was a bit chewy, inside was good. But it was like they had been sitting in a warmer for so long, they looked shriveled an smaller than other places, especially for the money. Food came out, everything was lukewarm at best. They put a side of broccoli on my plate, it was straight up cold. As if it was sitting in a chilled container and they dumped it onto my plate. I couldn't even eat it. Rice was okay. Kids liked theirs. The waitress kept apologizing about everything taking so long to come out which I can understand.. but why is our food coming out cold/lukewarm for that price tag. I would have been just fine eating my store-bought Asian foods in the freezer and saved the money for where I really wanted to go.
We went for dinner. Decent and small space with beautiful ambience Main course, each item is sufficient for two people. Soup and starters (Bo. Silders) are little bland. Need little more salt in it. We got a fork with dried rice it and cloth napkins smells oily. When we informed about it they didn't pay any attention to it. Person who served us is is very busy mostly tossing things on to table and rushing. He didn't even ask for dessert order and gave us a check after sometime of main course :) They can definitely improve on courtesy. Overall, ambience, food is good. Cleanliness and courtesy can be improved
We didn’t know what to expect with a “fusion” restaurant, but this place does Chinese food fairly well, but don’t make the mistake of getting the curry. There was nothing about that dish that resembled curry. They even seemed to use bagged frozen potatoes in the dish. It was really bad. Our waiter, Edward, handled it well and allowed us to select another dish. He was professional and way too crazy busy. He seemed to be the only waiter. We chose the Szechuan beef as the replacement dish. They put green beans in it, and both my husband and I thought that flavor distracted from the dish. This was an example of working too hard to be “fusion”. The tang was good but the meat was so big it needed to be cut into bite sized pieces, which was impossible with a fork as it was too chewy. They didn’t provide a knife. We ate it so we gave it a 2 star rating. We won’t go back unfortunately. Oh, although not pictured, we also ordered pork dumplings. They were good, but we felt like the steamed version of the dumplings was too thick and gummy.
I’m really disappointed with our experience at Sky Asian in Leander tonight. This is a restaurant my family and I regularly visit, and we’ve always enjoyed our meals — which makes tonight even more frustrating. We ordered two entrées, and I made sure to clearly repeat the order. The waiter even confirmed it and asked whether I wanted white meat or dark meat. However, only one entrée ever came out. Drink refills took a long time, and the service felt inattentive throughout the night. When we finally asked for the bill, I had to remind the waiter that the second entrée never arrived. By that point, it was too late. I went in hungry and left hungry and extremely frustrated. Unfortunately, this particular waiter has consistently provided poor service during past visits, and tonight was the worst experience yet. I hope management takes this feedback seriously because we genuinely enjoy the food and would like to continue supporting this restaurant — but service like this makes it difficult.
Hey, I'm sorry. I really don't like dumping on a business unless there was something underhanded or mean spirited done by them... But man, this food was just NOT GOOD. Greasy, oily, not fresh at all, just tasted canned, boiled, covered in vague gravy. No hint at all of vegetable crispiness, flavors or texture. Gummy, corporate, gross. I stopped eating Chinese food because of places like this, and made the move to much more flavorful Thai, Vietnamese or Japanese/Lao restaurants. But I didn't want ramen or sushi, I wanted vegetables and I figured with 4.5 stars, maybe this place could do a decent stir fry. Nope. Avoid at all costs. The food at Panda Express is significantly better. That should tell you all you need to know.
