Tucked away in the Travesia de Carnicerias, 3, is a cute little spot for wine and food. The host is friendly and for an out of towner she explained some Leones culture to me. We had wine and croquetas and the rest of the menu looked delicious. Prices were very reasonable. I would have taken pictures of the food but i got distracted and just ate it! Definitely must stop there and say hello!!

This place was a pleasant surprise. Estefanía served us wonderfully and promptly, and Robinson, the manager, was also a paragon of friendliness and humility. That alone is enough to make us come back, but on top of that, we ate a delicious León stew! They promised to have liquor on hand next time, so it's three out of three. ;-)

Great bar in a pretty square. Friendly staff. Lovely location. Bar is pretty inside. Brilliant tapas free with drinks. Reasonable prices for a city bar.

Se nota que la mayoría de los comensales venían a probar el cocido, seguro que merece la pena. En nuestro caso probamos platos de la carta y la comida estaba bien preparada y rica La única tacha fue la tardanza. Todo lo compensó la amabilidad de Valentín, gran profesional. Para repetir.

Bar situado en el centro del Barrio Húmedo de León. Decidimos parar a comer algo más contundente y no nos equivocamos. Con cada caña nos sacaron una tapa, que no decepcionó. Sin embargo, con los embutidos no nos sacaron pan y al pedírselo a la camarera nos puso muy mala cara... Y nos sacó dos trocicos de pan lamentables. Como nos quedamos con hambre decidimos pedir unos garbanzos, ESPECTACULARES. Volvería solo por el plato de garbanzos.

Hemos encontrado esta bodega en el barrio humedo de León, y nos ha gustado. La selección de embutidos leoneses nos gustó mucho, el trato y el servicio del camarero que nos atendió, Robinson, fue profesional y muy amable. ¡Recomendable!

Magnífico bar-restaurante en el barrio Húmedo de León. Es un lugar perfecto para tomar unas cervezas, comer unas tapas o sentarse a cenar. Aunque el precio pueda parecer algo elevado, la calidad de su comida, pero sobretodo el trato por parte de los camareros, merece la mena, sin duda. En este bar siempre hay música agradable que crea una agradable sensación, además ponen el fútbol, por si quieres verlo mientras tomas algo o comes. Además, tienen Estrella Galicia de Bodega. Remarcar la simpatía y buen hacer de todos sus camareros (Víctor, Javi, Salomé, Lucía y el resto de compañeros) así como sus excelentes tapas

I returned to the Valdesogo bar in September 2025 with some friends ( I go there everytime I am in León). Normally the service in the bar is very good but this time, the waitress ( from south America ) was not attentive and really didn't understood what the group wanted . That was disappointing as we went there on my recommendation and I left with a negative opinion of the staff. I will return but hopefully, the owner will employ customer service oriented waitresses.

The restaurant is located on a narrow street very close to Plaza de San Martín in the heart of the Barrio Húmedo (the old town), a very popular area with a large number of bars and restaurants. The restaurant isn't particularly large, with a bar at the entrance and a small, quiet dining room in the basement with attractive decor. We ordered a cocido leonés (a traditional Spanish stew) which was truly delicious. They first serve two types of soup, one with pasta and the other with bread; both were excellent. The second course consists of chickpeas and vegetables. And in the third and final course, they bring out the meat: pig's ear, snout, bacon, ribs, blood sausage, and chorizo—all very generous and very tasty. It's impossible to leave hungry. The entire meal was accompanied by a good Prieto Picudo wine from Valdevimbre. The dessert, a cheesecake, is included with the cocido, and although it's homemade, it's quite ordinary. In total, it cost us 25 euros per person, a very reasonable price. The waitress who served us was attentive and friendly, although the kitchen service was quite slow. I recommend this restaurant, at least for its cocido leonés (a hearty stew from León), a dish made with excellent ingredients and absolutely delicious.

Estuvimos en el restaurante abajo, tuvimos que comer con los abrigos puestos hacia bastante frío, la comida unos platos bien y otro mal, se salvo por la lasca de cordero y el entrecot... El resto nad…

Ha sido un poco decepcionante La atención de la camarera bien y la comida estaba rica pero poca cantidad , pedimos croquetas, 1 ensalada y alcachofas (nos pusieron 2 unidades para compartir 5 personas y luego lubinas; que 2 alcachofas valgan lo mismo que las 6 croquetas y que las lubinas pues no se que decir… Los postres muy buenos

We were served by a very nice waitress who recommended a tapas combo for two that included two drinks, salad, two ham croquettes, fried eggs, and calamari. But we left quite disappointed with the food. The croquettes and salad were good, but the fried eggs were nothing special; the egg was overcooked, and they didn't break our plate or give us a knife to break them. On the other hand, the calamari was the worst; tough, over-fried, and we honestly didn't like it at all. We can't comment on the desserts, but we saw other customers ordering them, and they looked good. We also want to point out that bread is extra, although they let you know beforehand, which is appreciated.

Local pequeño pero acogedor. He de decir que no sé si será la tónica normal del bar pero las tapas que nos pusieron fueron bastante malas. Un arroz pasado y de poco sabor, queso bastante malo sobre el pan etc. He de decir que los platos para la gente que estaba allí sentada cenando tenían buena pinta, espero que de sabor no fueran tan malos como las tapas de la barra

Había comido en este lugar previamente y me parecía estupendo … de hecho fuimos buscando platos de la anterior carta según nos han informado, no sé porque han cambiado todo, pero actualmente precio d…

Muy mal, después de entrar y vernos solos en el comedor ya empezamos a temer lo peor, y solos seguimos toda la Genma, mucho frío, con dos pequeños calentadores a los pies que no consiguieron templar…

Una de las peores experiencias en relación calidad-precio que he tenido. Si pretendes cobrar precios altos, el servicio debe estar a la altura, y aquí fallaron en lo básico: ​- Pedir sal y recibir un bote de sal de Hacendado tal cual en la mesa es un error imperdonable en este rango de precios. ​- Que te retiren el plato con cubiertos y te devuelvan cubiertos usados con la mano apuñados tras retirar el plato es inaceptable. ​- Servicio de vino deficiente; abren la botella y la "sueltan" en la mesa sin un minimonde servir o probar. Una pena, pero los detalles hacen al restaurante, y aquí no cuidan ninguno.

Pésima calidad y carísimo. Dos alcachofas confitadas 14 euros, y un segundo plato de bacalao ajo arriero que era un revuelto de huevo con un ingrediente que podría ser patata...seco, insípido y...en definitiva incomible. El.pan una masa de goma ... 40 euros y hemos salido sin comer. Las camareras era amables pero no te podían recomendar porque decían que no conocían los platos....y no me extraña que no pudieran recomendar!

La verdad que no volveremos nunca más. Raciones escasas en relación a su precio. La ración de croquetas trae 5 míseras croquetas La cazuela de picadillo con huevo y patatas eran patatas con huevo y "aroma" a picadillo porque ni se apreciaba El entrecot crudísimo y duro Somos de León y decepcionados es poco. Lo único bueno fue la atención del camarero que fue muy majo

I'm only giving it zero stars because they don't deserve it. We went for a beer and a glass of white wine, and after charging us (and it was expensive, too), they told us the cook had just arrived and they didn't have any tapas at eight in the evening. I think it's great that people have a business to make money, but I'm realizing they're taking advantage of tourism to inflate prices and provide terrible service (of course, tapas aren't mandatory). And for people like me, who are from León, they're forcing us to go to the bars in the neighborhoods, which are mostly family-run businesses where you'll get better service without the inflated prices for tourists.

Complete ripoff. They charged €4.90 for 2 croquetas. Spend your money elsewhere.
