Seriously the best value ever... 16 dollars and I got a plate of rubs a plate full of sushi which was Delicious 😋 and of course desert ..but let's get down to the main details... 1-The host was incredibly kind and was trying to help me find my friend and was a very pleasant individual overall 2- Great Food .. Unlimited food for a steal price 3- Excellent service and cleanliness with welcoming atmosphere... Always took care of my drinks when it was Packed! In conclusion this buffet is a golden spot for value and good food... Not being too expensive just make sure you starve yourself because this food is worth it!

The service was great in my opinion and really enjoyed the server who noticed my mother who we visited a couple of times in past but didn’t recognize her since she worked her for years but she’s a great server! It was on my birthday that we’ve visited at this place. The food was great and I’ve enjoyed every bit of it!

I've had a hard time finding a Chinese buffet where the food actually tastes good since moving to East Texas, but I've finally done it. The atmosphere is a bit lack luster, but the food is on point.

best buffet ever, my tummy was super full in the end and well deserved my love. all staff and service are super nice and was greeted to my table fairly quickly. the restrooms are clean. tables and seats are very clean and the food is amazing. it’s not too cold or too hot and gets added with new dishes really quickly. i will always have this place my favorite because of my experience. i really recommend coming here.

Amazing food got seated a soon as I got there and their is so much food to try and they have the best chocolate fountain I have ever had and they had fruit and sushi and it was 20 bucks per person and they had amazing seats so over all a 5 star buffet I will be coming back made by a 13 year old😋😁

Great service, great food. Don't know what all of the negative reviews I saw were on about, but it was a pleasant experience and if I'm in the area again I plan to stop by for a bite. Only thing I thought would have made my visit better was if there was relaxing music playing but that's just a little thing.

Regal gets a big thumbs up from me. They have good service, keep their place clean, have a decent variety of food, and provide all of this for a reasonable price. For the price, I can get a variety of fresh options (including VERY fresh fruit!), lots of protein sources, and the usual stuff you'd ask for at a Chinese buffet. They even have a decent sushi bar, a chocolate fondue fountain, and a "Mongolian"/Hibachi build-your-own grill. The tables, common areas, and bathrooms are kept really clean, the place is comfortable, and they don't rush me out ever. What's not to like? I think the negative reviews often come from people not aligning their expectations with the price point. Comparing this to an AYCE sushi or KBBQ place that runs about 2x the price isn't reasonable. Just about anyone can afford to eat here, which is why you see a mix of families, blue-collar workers, and business people during the weekday lunch rush. Regal's my go-to option when I 1) haven't eaten in a day, and 2) need to load up on different food groups. They are a reliable choice and I'll keep returning.

Great spot to try out if you are looking for good food that is buffet style. They have a super wide variety of options when it comes to seafood, fried foods, salads, desserts, and alot more. The wait staff are nice and the overall atmosphere is good. Will be back for more food and to try more of thier buffet.

Just left here with my family, and EVERYONE LOVED THE FOOD!!! Staff was nice and welcoming from the time we walked in the door to the time we were leaving! We didn't ask for a high chair, he just brought one strait to our table! It was relaxing and clean! Everything was just soooo good, I wanted to just keep eating! Thanks for this wonderful family dinner!

I always eat here at least once when I come in to town. It is definitely the best Chinese restaurant around the area. It was especially good today. I definitely recommend eating here.

Wow. Great buffet! Lots of choices and the food was very fresh. Mongolian grill was perfect and the sushi was phenomenal. Sushi usually isnt great at buffets, but the sushi here was tasty!! I would recommend. Only thing poor was the booths. Very uncomfortable and not padding. Yum yum.

Food is great , if your hungry and want Chinese food and American go here, them crab Rangoon is so damn good. Potatoes is also good chicken wings, dessert bar, fruit bar, they got a lot more food.

The food is very varied and the service is thoughtful. Chef special is really good. Highly recommend for family or birthday party.

The food was good and the environment was clean. Would recommend anyone to come here. The server could have been more attentive but I still think this place deserves five stars because the food was better than I hoped for.

Nowadays I only eat Chinese buffet once every 3-6 months or longer as it’s hard to lose weight doing it often. Plus I’m getting old and my digestive system can only take so much abuse. Well, that craving set in and I fought it for two weeks..finally broke down and went to Buffet King in Denton. Now, they were okay (plus point for them, they did have my beloved sesame balls) but it just didn’t hit the spot. So where did I go? Where I should have all along, tried-and-true Regal Buffet, the Lewisville institution. The crazy thing is that I go so infrequently and yet they are always consistently awesome- and I have never been later than 1:30PM (buffet no-no) but I got here at 1:45 and they were still busy…they were still putting out fresh food at 2:30! Price is still decent, $13.49 for lunch, and the staff are always friendly. If you want the American Chinese buffet experience in NW DFW, Regal Buffet is IT.

The prices are reasonable and the food is good. The atmosphere was almost quite and the music wasn't overbearing. The staff are basically "invisible", so I have no opinion concerning them. They're not rude. Yes, I recommend this place and I would go back.

Regal Buffet is a solid choice for a Chinese buffet. The food is tasty, and there’s always a wide variety to choose from. I personally enjoy it more than the place across the street and selection here make it my preferred spot. I like the ice cream it is very creamy

I went with my hungry family. The buffet was excellent. They had everything. Loved the crawfish and shrimps. Grilled option (Hibachi) was a favorite. The dessert was awesome. And, last but not least, the staff waiters were very nice and attentive.

After 2 years I had to change my review. Ive been here 2 times over the past 2 months and the food is not what it used to be. Last night the sushi was not fresh and tasted off. When I said something to the server he just laughed at me as he took a plate of sushi from my table that was no good. The egg rolls were bland. The chicken broccoli and beef broccoli tasted like the broccoli wasn't fresh, it had a weird taste to it. I was very disappointed after enjoying this restaurant so much last time I was in Texas. I was also very ashamed that I brought people here who complained about the food and then requested we eat somewhere else afterwards. Please go back to making your food fresh.

Food was so-so. Didn't have some of my favorite dishes other buffets carry. The dessert bar was just 👎 nope. They did have a decent size Mongolian grill bar. The service/waitresses was excellent, nothing wrong with this place when you're hungry for buffet.

It is clean, and the servers do their job. We never had an issue with food running out or tasting old. They have plenty of options and offer gloves to use when grabbing food. Plenty of seating and there are some TVs.

Food was really good and filling. The place is beautiful and really clean. As soon as you walk in you’re greeted with a chocolate fountain which honestly looked amazing. Service was really good, they made sure to take all used plates and asked if I wanted a refill for my drink as much as they could. Lunch hour price was nice as well. This Chinese buffet has your classics and a great variety of fresh sushi. Everything is well cooked and seasoned well to taste. I enjoy the change in dishes that they have every week or so to keep it fresh. The workers at the grill always do a fantastic job of making your custom dish! The areas around the food are kept sanitary as well. This is definitely one of the better Chinese Buffets!

Lots of different item on the buffet line. The Mongolian Grill was good also. My date raved about how good the chef made her order perfectly and was one of only a few to do the eggs correctly. The location was very busy and they got confused as to where they were going to sit us. When we got to our table, it was already taken. Food was about what I expected and nothing really stood out as being something above average. The other guests were rude and kids were running around the area by our table.

Cheap, decent Americanized Chinese buffet! It was roughly $30+tip for 2 people on Friday lunch. Food was decent - mostly a decent spread of Americanized Chinese food. Decent selection of sushi as well! Service was great as well. Our attentive server was on top of everything, clearing plates as soon as we finished and occasionally checking in.

I have had a lot of Chinese buffet in my day. This is one of the better ones. This will be quick and simple. Fresh - great variety- plentiful food- sushi- desserts. Very friendly staff. Go and stuff yourself! I did!

Overall, the food was very good for a buffet; sometimes you're not sure what you are going to find at a place like this. However, each member of my family found something that they liked, and more. From traditional foods to sushi to stir fry to dessert and salad, this place has it all, and for a reasonable price. My only complaint was that the sweet and sour sauce was more sour than sweet. We will definitely go back at some point!

Service was amazing! The sushi was very good I recommend the veggie rolls, the regular food is very pick and choose to people’s taste. The lo-mein was a bit greasy and tasteless. But the clams according to my husband were tender and seasoned properly and warm. I personally loved the French fries and the sour chicken. We paid around $50 bucks for both of us! Will definitely be coming back!

Good variety and value. The differentiation and attraction for me is the Mongolian grill. Love the ability to customize my meal. Sushi, salad, peel and eat shrimp, appetizers, 3 tables of various entrees plus dessert tables. The soups are just okay and desserts somewhat funky (but kids seem to like them). It’s clean and staff is friendly and efficient. Buffet is fresh and kept well stocked. Closed on Mondays.

I’ve been coming here semi-regularly for the past two years. I tried sushi for the first time at Regal Buffet; it’s not the best, but it’s not the worst. Decently sized place. It’s not too loud or noisy. They have a good a selection, with variety. The price is fair in my opinion. Staff is friendly, attentive but not overbearing. I’d recommend this place to anyone who’s looking to feast.

Very clean, good service and good selection of Chinese food. Better than most buffets in our area. The beef egg rolls are very good, along with fresh steamed clams, and shrimp.

Regal Buffet is a very clean restaurant with many options to choose from - seafood, soup, and salads being some of them. The wait staff are exceptionally friendly and are happy to answer any questions you may have. My only complaint is that the food is a little bland, but overall I had a good experience.

i’m OK with the restaurant and the food my 11 year-old grandson loves it but I took him and his nine-year-old stepbrother I’m 66 and I took them to eat there this past weekend and when he brought me the ticket it said $57 and I was just shocked I still left the waiter 10 but I couldn’t believe my eyes when it came to the price little bit ridiculous especially for the two guests I had I was very disappointed and I really don’t plan on going back my grandson loves it I’m gonna have to find another restaurant that he loves as much as this one cause this is out of control and I was extremely disappointed in that experience

It's ok, but missing so many dishes found at other buffets. I was mostly disappointed. Missing several shrimp dishes like coconut shrimp and shrimp delight. not much seafood variety. But what was there was good, the grill did have decent options and cooked well.

It's ok. I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here but for $9 weekday all you can eat lunch buffet what do you expect.

We have always gone to Regal Buffett, it's a staple restaurant for our family. We've never had any issues before but today we went around noon, and as we were being seated, the waiter took our order for drinks and he was really rude. I talk with an accent, but I know anyone and everyone understands me. When I ordered an unsweet tea he kept correcting how I was saying it, but if he understood, I don't know why he was so firm with me. And then when my partner ordered he threw the paper with our drink orders on the table and sighed as he left with a scowl. We left the restaurant then and there.

First & last visit. Food was not good and tasted old/spoiled. Service was great all very nice people.

Food is ok, some is better than others. The Mongo Grill is awesome and those guys do a great job..hot fresh. The other hot table food is ok. Standard buffet style Chinese food..the sushi is really good. Fresh sushi. The Wait staff is attentive and very warm and nice. Pricing is about what one would pay at any Chinese style buffet. Ice cream is awesome. Very very cold and very easy to get a brain freeze. I say that it's colder than any ice cream one would get let's say at Braums.

It looks like as time passes, the quality and taste of the food in that location keep getting worse. The teriyaki chicken and the chicken stick today were just bad - nothing close to what it used to be in the past. Another issue - we walked in close to time they change pricing from lunch to dinner - the waiter could not come with clear case if we pay based on time of entry or based on time of pay. Went on to explain that will charge us based on what we ate, yet, dinner menu is not labeled as such - rip-off! Very displeased with that last visit!

No flavor. It’s completely changed in how food is prepared since the last times we’ve been there. It lacked flavor, rice was horrible and it didn’t even have salt. Not sure what’s changed but whoever they have making the food needs to do better about flavor, especially at $16.99 per person.

I didn’t have high hopes given that most Chinese buffets are sub par. I had heard that it’s better than East Buffet near Irving, which I think is true. It’s definitely a lot more cleaner and service is better. The overall quality is not something worth writing about, although a few dishes was worth repeating. The live Mongolian counter was very tasty.

Food was decent, somebody is not doing the upkeep here. This place looks like it's on its last leg.

Went to this buffet after hearing a lot of good things. I am not sure if it was bad today, the food was not at all fresh. The space was large and was arranged well. The only thing that was fresh and ok was the Mongolian style noodles that I had. The chicken stir fry tasted spoiled and not so good. A 'will not visit' again place.

This is an honest review. I ate there tonight for the first time, and the best thing there is the pizza. Sushi was bland, beef and broccoli was bland, the fried rice was bland… Everything tasted like it was a couple days old. I thought I’d try my luck at the Mongolian stirfry area, but that was a bad idea. Raw chicken soaking in a pool of its own defrosted liquid. Red meat badly discolored. Shrimp looking very slimy. I don’t think I’ll ever go back there.

Only ate here because I let my 9 year old pick dinner. There's not a big selection and food isn't great. To be fair, I'm not a big fan of Chinese buffets anyway, but if I were, I'd likely never eat here again.

Cook dumps food on top of old food. Piling it high even when it isn’t busy. You have to follow FIFO! Very oily and since they never take out the old food you might get an oily hot bite and then an old cold bite the next. Drink was empty without being offered a refill until we almost left. You can tell they ghetto rig everything. Wood blocks painted silver that support the hand rail in the toilet stall. The original lock doesn’t work so the haphazardly added a new one. If that’s how they “fix” what you can see imagine what you can’t. It looks very outdated. Amber lights with warm tones throughout. At least it’s super cheap 16$+ plus tip for lunch and a drink. You know you get what you pay for. The only good thing was the sushi since the guy was making them by hand and would set out more when needed. But it’s buffet sushi which is fine on a budget.

This place is a no go had the worst experience roaches on the food and in the table that is the last time for me taking the family out to eat.

Anyone else get sick from the uncooked Mongolian pork on 1/2/25? It’s 1/6 now and I’m still recovering was in bed 15 hours throwing up when I got back to Lubbock the next day. Couldn’t even enjoy the rest of my break off from work because these guys couldn’t cook the pork fully. Unless you want to get food poisoning, don’t come here. I’m a 24 year old combat athlete and this kicked my butt, it felt like I was slowly dying I can’t imagine if an elderly customer ate this and how they would feel. Pathetic

If you just want food and you don't care what it tastes like, sure, you can go to this restaurant, BUT if you really enjoy good Chinese food, I would not recommend this restaurant. None of the food tasted fresh. It all tasted some sort of frozen and not good quality and was the worst chinese food i've ever had. I tried a multitude of different things and could not stomach eating it. Not even the dessert, the only thing that tasted halfway decent was the sugar donut. I took my son because he had been wanting to try octopus and squid. Usually I love sesame chicken or orange chicken, beef and broccoli, chicken and broccoli, but none of it was good. Everything had a really weird off taste. Most items were not the correct temperature they should have been at all. Spent $40 just for me and my son and I wish I had that money back and spent it anywhere else.

Very disappointed in this restaurant. First, food was bland. Second, my children ages 5 and 7 were charged 1 penny less than an adult! $13.98 for ages 5 and 7 plus drinks were over $15 per kid!! Excuse me they don't even finish 1 plate and you charge them like an adult pretty much! 3rd, the sign outside CLEARLY states children under 3 eat free. When I ask the man at the register he states he has worked there 18 years and ALWAYS charged $2.99 for 3 year olds. I simply said well your sign with your business name above it states different. He giggles and proceeds to say it SHOULD say 2 and under not 3. But your business advertises that so why not honor what you advertise. False advertisement at its best. He quickly snatched my card and ran it. Like I wasn't going to pay 😏 ridiculous and never going back! Also letting my friends and family know not to eat there.

I chose this place to eat today based on the good reviews…. But was extremely disappointed the tables were sticky and it just felt damp inside. The food was not very good at all chicken tasked like it had been reheated in the microwave and everything was room temperature. I got one plate of food and didn’t bother going back up again. So I came here on a Sunday to eat with my buddy yea never again. The sushi was horrible they let the food sit out to long because they can't sell it on time or fast enough. I will periodically go to this Buffet and exposes the issues & Shenanigans that I see again this has not been the first time so probably the 10th and 20th time. When this place open in the beginning it was different they truly do care food was amazing prices were good for the quality. No matter what after that things went downhill and they continue to go downhill from what I see. Whoever commented on this is only trying to save it right now. But when a business owner forgets about the fact that they are feeding human beings and it's all about the money we have a problem. Here's another thing they don't have good reviews if you can go I checked this on Google you will see. I bet you all the people that comment good reviews are their own people. They don't have a good selection of food for that matter very small with bad quality what can you expect. I hate to be honest but honesty is the best policy. Had a take out order of shrimp fried rice for my lunch. Opened the container and just from the smell alone I could tell the food was spoiled. Called them and received no answer. I work and was unable to come that same day since they close before I get off, so I showed up 3 days later on my off day with the same container in my lunch bag to tell them about the food. They were very kind up until I mentioned the spoiled rice. Then it felt like they were on defense mode. The lady at the front goes “why didn’t you call?” I told her I did and she checked her “call log” and said I didn’t. So I read her the phone number from my call log to see if it was correct number. she admitted that that’s the correct number but since she couldn’t find me in her call log, she then proceeds to tell me she didn’t still receive a call even though I just showed her. To make matters worse she refused to give any kind of solution. I wasn’t even asking for a refund at the time just for them to remake it since it was good the last time. She shakes her head no that she won’t tell them to remake the food just because I didn’t come in person the same day. Yet I called and no one picked up. Then suddenly so many of the employees came up and surrounded me not saying a single word just staring making me feel extremely uncomfortable as if I’m making a big scene which I wasn’t at all. I didn’t know it was a big deal to remake a simple rice. Don’t recommend this place at all. From other reviews, the food sits out long no longer being fresh and apparently it’s your fault if you find any fault with the food. Won’t come back here again! Terrible customer service. I recommend dragon express down the street or Hoi Mei in Dallas area if you’re taking out or need to stop lunch. In response to stores comment: I wasn't going to give a response, but I will not tolerate you lying on my name! Wow! Ask your employee! I read and showed her the call log with your company’s phone number and she indeed confirmed it is your restaurant's number! I placed the order this Tuesday which I told your employee. I’ve attached proof since you need it so bad. Your employee said I wasn’t on the “record” even though I gave her every bit of information possible and she still said my order didn't pop up then completely stopped checking. Now you’re saying I'm now on the record and you found my order all of a sudden. You're contradicting yourself. Which is it? If you actually spoke to me in person you would’ve gotten your facts straight. My father ordered 5 portions of food last Friday for the family. Nothing was wrong. BUT THEN on Tuesday 9/26/23 I ordered one singular shrimp fried rice bowl for my lunch which I again told your employee. The rice for my lunch is the rice that smelt rotten. You indeed have the right to defend your restaurant and your employee, but blatantly lying to discredit my review is NOT okay. There’s no point contacting you (manager) if this is what I’m going to deal with. What a waste of money. I’ve never been treated this badly before with no remorse. Again for the readers, I don’t recommend coming to Regal Buffet at all. You can clearly see how the staff and manager acts and treats their customers. Dragon Express is the place the go!

All of the food tasted bad. Best thing was the fortune cookie and soft drink. $20.33 per person. Not worth it.

Unfortunately, the food quality was very poor. The ingredients didn’t taste fresh, and the overall flavor was disappointing. I wouldn’t recommend this place based on my experience.

BUGS CRAWLING IN THE FOOD! Last night was my first visit ever. I was not impressed with any of the food, so I went to get fruit. I was HORRIFIED to find a live ant crawling around in my pineapple when I was near finished eating it all 🤮 I got up to find a server and show them. They tried to take the bowl away from me, but I needed to take a picture and video to warn others. I threw up multiple times outside. I thought that I accidentally some and it grossed me out. Ruined my whole night.

So not only was this the saddest buffet I've been to with such limited food options compared to cheaper buffet options. The food was old and cold. But for main courses it was limited to three sections, and for some reason selling pizza. There is no sign for how much the cost will be per person you'll just recive a check that doesn't break down the cost either. $68 for three people is an outrageous amount and is a bigger scam then a lays bag of chips. For what this place was it was a expensive dumpster dive for food. To the people who,say this is "the best buffet" have never had places like kings buffet. The place was also dirty and had a smell. Like something moldy

This place has gone down hill. It was very disappointing. The food doesn't taste as good as it used too. This place is turning into a seafood place. I would not recommend 😐 do not come here if u are allergic to seafood

The food was disgustingly old, and the man cooking at the grill burnt and had some of the food undercooked. Carrie the cashier was extremely rude and tried raising her voice at me when I let her know my mother didn’t eat. She then starts saying next time we need to say something, i told her that there wouldn’t be a next time because you’re rude and the food is disgusting she then just walked away Then we went up to the front and she had nothing to say. I have never been to a restaurant where they speak so rudely and the food is really bad. At least have your food make up for it.

Wasn’t a pleasant experience at all, attempted to have a good dinner, and had a ball of hair that was cooked into the crawfish dish. This is unacceptable, it was really gross. I do not appreciate the help that was given by the staff, when asked to speak to a manager. Also least that could’ve been done was for this tray on the buffet be removed but wasn’t. Instead It was left for others to continue to serve off that buffet tray. Be cautious when eating in case of anything in your plate.
