Everything here is delicious! Service was great and efficient. Will definitely be coming back again :) Mango Sticky Rice - 10/10 Samosas - 10/10 Basil Fried Rice - 8/10 Pad Thai Chicken - 9/10 Yellow Curry - 10/10
Their yellow curry is so fragrant and wholesome. I always have to double order the roti because it tastes like heaven especially paired with the curry. I was helped by Kip, and she was so kind and welcoming! This is definitely going on my favorites list 🤤
Came on Easter Sunday and the restaurant was mostly empty. The food was really good and the samosas were some of the best I’ve ever had. They were in a flakey dough and served with yellow curry which was delicious. Above all else I’ll be back for the samosas.
If you are not coming here for your Thai food, you are doing yourself a disservice! I just finished eating at this restaurant, and would like to place my observations first before I rate the quality of my food. The waiters bust the tables with immaculate precision and cleanliness. I watched over a period of 45 minutes each waiter and server and sure that, the amount of customers who came in were appropriately numbered, and given a correctly sized table, and within 30 seconds, everyone at the table had waters. Other couples who came in and asked for wine were promptly given the wine menu and had drinks at their table within under two minutes. Couples or groups who had finished their meals, had their tables bust at precisely the right time where it didn’t feel like the group was still trying to leave, but incoming parties were able to be sat down at clean tables and provided with fresh menus and cutlery. The atmosphere and environment was warm and welcoming, and, had plenty of space to be able to enjoy your meal and good company without feeling crowded by others. I ordered an entrée, the pineapple fried rice, and within seven minutes of ordering, my dish was served. It was piping hot, and the combination of spices and seasoning blends was absolutely first class. These cooks are clearly performing at the same top-notch level that the waiters and servers are trained at. I would highly recommend that you give this location your time and your hard earned money. It is an absolutely sensational restaurant and you will be taken care of, as if you were the wine-ed and dined that evening.
Tried for lunch. Great food. Had the Crispy Spring Rolls (which were perfect) and the Red Hot Green Beans with Chicken. They ask you what level of spice you want. I'm typically a 'lots of spice' but cautioned on the side of medium. Probably could have done hot since I ended up adding their chili oil to it. Was so good that I ordered the same (but with Shrimp) to go for my wife. She also loved it!
We came here for dinner during a visit to livermore and just loved it, the ambience, customer service and food! We tried salmon, red curry and pad khe Mao and iced tea and each of them tasted awesome. We made a lunch visit the very next day since the food was fresh and yummy. The complimentary soup was so flavorful . Tried pad thai, shrimp red curry and shrimp fried rice and all of them came out great.
Simply the best Thai food in America, maybe even in Thailand. I've been all over the world, tried Thai everywhere, and this place is simply incredible. Give them a shot. Try any dish; you won't be disappointed.
Very welcoming place with the food and ambiance. Loved the spices they used in the dishes. Their use of greenery inside brings out a healthy feeling in your soul as you enjoy the great food.
Absolutely delicious food and a great vibe! We loved their Tom Yum soup and the Red Curry. Food - 5/5 Ambience - 5/5 Hosts - 5/5 Service - 5/5
Great service and food was Soo good! I recommend pumpkin curry and tossed eggplant
Really really good noodle. Thick and creamy Thai curry soup with chewy string noodles, plus supper crispy sweet and sour fried chicken! Can’t find a second restaurant compared to this in the area. Love it and will come back!!

I had the pleasure of meeting an old friend at Lanna Thai Restaurant in Livermore. My first visit. One of my friend and her husband's go to restaurants on their way home to Patterson. We sat at the bar, and shared 2 appetizers while waiting for our take out order to arrive. This was the best meal I have eaten all year. If I did not live and work in San Jose, I would dine here at least once a week. Every dish we ordered was fresh & innovative, spice perfection in every bite. Thank you Lanna Thai, truly enjoyed the experience.
Seriously impressed with the service here, it was top-notch all the way around! The staff were so friendly and attentive, making the whole experience a breeze. And the food? Absolutely delicious with so many fantastic options to choose from. I'm already planning my next visit just to try more of their menu. Definitely recommend this place for a great meal and a fantastic time!

Really comfortable seating for a Thai Place. Beautiful decor very Napa style. The food was decent, tried the pad see ew, their basil chicken, and the steam veggies with chicken with peanut sauce. The last one did not have very much peanut sauce and was more of a garlic sauce, but still delicious. Everything a little bit too sweet for my taste though. Good if I add some spicy to cut the sweet.
We have been here before. The restaurant is close to the freeway so easy to get to for us in the Central Valley and family in the Bay Area. The prices seemed much higher, but I guess everything has gone that way. I had my usual Pad Thai and Thai Iced Tea. Neither were stand outs. My husband also thought the chicken fried rice was average. Our son liked his spicy curry. Our granddaughters liked the white rice best.
First time there. Great food. Lots of selections.
We tried vegetarian version of few dishes. We were not much impressed by appetizers spring roll. Soup was too spicy even though we requested spice level as medium. Main course items were good. We tried pine apple fried rice, pumpkin curry and Singapore noodles. Prices are bit higher than other Thai restaurants.
Here for lunch, sharing a Pad Kee Mao and Mango Salad. Lunch special comes with a small coconut-based soup. I dislike that most of the menu price does not include common protein, instead asking for add-on pricing even for chicken. Mango is salad is very ripe, not the traditional green mango in SE Asian cooking. We ordered mild but staff hooked up the Prik Nam Plaa jars, which were very authentic.
The food is great, and I liked most of the dishes we tried except the pineapple fried rice. It has too much soya sauce. Otherwise, the rest of the items are all good and meet our expectations. One of my favorite dishes was Tom Tum Soup here. Must try this dish. We will definitely visit next time to explore more dishes. Ratings CALAMARI - 4/5 GINGER FISH - 5/5 PINEAPPLE FRIED RICE - 3/5 POT STICKERS - 4/5
Went for lunch to this place on our way back from brentwood. Good atmosphere & service were super quick. Loved the plant set up & other decors. Tried springs rolls, roti & Mussamun curry. Loved the roti. It was my first time trying it. Curry was good as well. All ingredients are listed on the menu so if you add to more veggies be specific. Our friends tried basil fried rice, which they loved with hot spice level. They were a little disappointed visually by Chowmein, but the flavor was good as per them. Overall, I loved it. I will definitely recommend it if you are in the area & looking for thai food
Another repeat spot for us when visiting California. We like the location and ambiance. Always receive great service. Only reason it’s 4 stars and not a 5 is that we eat at a lot of Thai places so they are up against a tough competition. We like the food here. We think it’s good. Just maybe not great. I had the Thai Basil with Fried Tofu. All that remained on my plate were 4 slivers of onion. I enjoyed it. Medium is spicy enough for me. David had Pad Thai and enjoyed it. He was bummed that there wasn’t a lime. I tried the noodles and I liked how light it was — I was surprised not more “peanut-y.” I kept stealing his noodles to counter the spice of my dish. We also shared a Wok Stir Fry Veggie cause when road tripping its tough to get in our vegetables. It was yummy, but cost vs. value - it was a bit small - too many onions.
We ordered yellow curry, tom yum , tofu and pad thai. I like the tofu the most. Tom yum is very good too! Worth the try ❤️
Nice ambiance with lot of plants. Feels very peaceful! Food is good. A bit on the expensive side but overall it was a pleasant experience.
Had the Thai basil beef (mild spice). Was very flavorful and good lunch portion. Also, I had the Thai coffee, which was also very good.

beautiful restaurant and delicious food! but plates were a bit dirty and the service wasn't good. me and my family were the only ones in the restaurant and there were multiple employees seen at the register and walking around. but none of them came to check on us at all throughout our experience. we were confused on where to pay.

The food was ok, there's something missing here can't quite know what, I had pad thai and green curry, mango sticky rice for desert but I went back home and drowned my leftover pad thai with lemon to get it to taste better, the green curry was lacking more lemon grass perhaps but not sure. I like their Mango sticky rice though.
Not what I was expecting. It's horribly expensive for what you get. Not what I would call quality food. When you pay over $23 for pineapple fried rice that has chicken and shrimp in it, you expect more than 2 shrimp. I wouldn't have minded 2 shrimp if I wasn't paying over 23 dollars! The pad see mao was ok, not much flavor and really, not worth the price. I won't be back
This place has lost it’s uniqueness. It used to be my very favorite Thai restaurant but not anymore. The quality and quantity of the food came down and the price went up drastically. There was not much basil flavor in the Veg Basil fried rice other than being too salty and oily. It used to be the best dish here before CoVID. I am just unable to give less than 3 stars because I loved this place in the past. Service was fast and friendly so that’s a plus point.
Ordered food online to be delivered. You have to order rice separate for curry order. Now I am sitting here with curry and no rice. Add a dollar for steamed rice in the price for curry, in my humble opinion.
We ordered tom yum soup. It wasn’t good. Too pricey and smelled bad.
To start with we love thai food. Spices and flavor pretty similar to what we have in kerala, India. I drove 20 miles to get this food to go. Not worth it. Did not taste fresh and also not the rite flavor. None of the dishes were of my liking. On top of this extremely pricey. Around $25 per dish. Ambience is decent. The location is also good
We tried Tom yum soup with chicken, chicken satay and betong chicken fried rice from the house specials. Fried rice definitely didn't feel like it was house special. Chicken satay was good but the rest were okay. This restaurant felt a little expensive for the taste of food served. They charge 6$ for a tiny portion of peanut sauce or cucumber salad.

Ordered to go food and it was 🤢 sorry but the shrimp pad kee mao was so bad and smelled horrible like they used old oil and moldy shrimp. Had nasty chicken flavor. The fried rice wasn't good either. I would never go to this place again. They couldn't even put basic seasoning

The chicken satay was thickly cut and tough and dry the rest of the food we ordered were below par This place has gone down , I’m surprised it’s still open, there were very few diners on a Friday evening. And we asked for the dessert menu and the waitress said no dessert tonight🤦♀️
We decided to try this Thai restaurant for Mother’s Day dinner. We are a family of four and definitely over ordered because everything looked delicious. The food was very good but the service was very poor. Not one time did they ask if we needed anything after they brought the food. We would have to ask them for water extra napkins hot sauce etc. waiting on the bill to come my family had went outside to the car it still took them about five more minutes to bring me a couple of to go containers and the check. When I received the check everything looked good very expensive well over priced for the portion sizes. I have no problem paying that Price if you’re going to put a good amount of food on the table. But I did notice a 18% service charge or gratuity already included in the bill and I was completely taken back. We were already spending about $130+ tax on our meal for two little girls and two adults. He removed the charge and then was completely rude to me after he had to remove it. I paid the bill with a $25 cash tip. Handed it to him and did not even get a thank you for coming. I thought we found a good restaurant but unfortunately We will not be returning.
