Most notably there are no outlets for charging Normally on my M1 MacBook pushing heavy work I can get 1-4 hours of work on a full charge but this day I had a dead battery. But come prepared and enjoy the service. Open spice. Friendly baristas. Wifi access. No outlets though.

KOUIGN AMAN one of my ultimate bun-croissants. I am elated that Story Coffee carries them as part of regular baked goods. I was looking forward to banana rye bread but they sold out...I tried numerous times to contact to see if they have the pastry but calls were never picked up. Really good latte! Vibe of the cafe is also very good. It got crowded when we visited and was hard to find a seating inside. Nevertheless they had couple of chairs outside. Baristas were very sweet. The lady who took the order was a bit rude..but latte was great.

Matcha is on point here! Nice umami - no clumps! I may try it with Oat Milk again. Also, can’t go wrong with the maple latte from the shop on Maple street! a very well balanced sweet latte option. Baristas are down to earth and give solid recs. Cookie is too soft for my liking. Great ambiance!

I come here specifically for the matcha but the seasonal drinks are also really tasty! Can't recommend this place enough for a cute place to work or read a book. Sometimes it's hard to find parking and it gets crowded on the weekends.

Amazing coffee place. Such great options available for everybody. Tried the butter croissant and sweet latte. Made it exactly to my order with love. Very friendly people working here. I got a tea as well and it was really hot so they offered to bring to my car! Amazing service! Highly recommended!

My favorite coffee shop in the area! The coffee is delicious, their signature waffle is the perfect sweet treat, and the staff are all welcoming & great at their job! It’s nice to frequent a place where the staff appears to feel supported & happy to be there! It’s also funny seeing most “bad” reviews on here that just sound like the reviewer’s bruised ego with personal problems lol. Excited for them to be expanding locations and to see them flourish in the process! 💖

Cute little shop on the edge of downtown Livermore. Good coffee, good pastries, and great service! I mentioned I was driving up the West Coast to move to a new city and they gave me a free bag of coffee on the house as a moving gift! That service is 5 stars by itself.

Story became our go-to when it was a cart at the farmers market, and ever since they got their own permanent spot, it’s been a weekly (ok maybe twice weekly) staple for us. You’ll see us here every Sunday morning, and usually at least once some other time during the week. I usually just get a black coffee, sometimes a cappuccino as a lil treat… but there’s something for everyone, including some seasonal specialty drinks. And when we’re not drinking coffee there, we’re grinding their beans at home for our daily coffee habit. We love being regulars here.

Excellent espresso. Service was friendly and accommodating. Restroom was clean well kept, which is generally a good sign of how they treat the rest of the business.

Flawless matchas, made the proper way with the right temp water. Incredibly well brewed coffees with handmade seasonal options. A+ work vibes. Friendly and focused. I’ve been here probably 30+ times at this point. If you’re anything like me and value consistency, you won’t be disappointed.

5 stars for the slice of vegan pimpkin cake! Very well made. Great tasting coffee. Good vibe. Well kept place. Staff were friendly and responsive in spite of a long line of customers. Will visit again.

Great local, slightly off rhe beaten path, Livermore place to go for great coffee, pastries, and housemade waffles! Bonus poins for having both a whiskey "flavor" latte AND a seasoned menu!

Sadly this great little coffee stop earned low ratings due to their wafflle. It was my reason for stopping in after seeing a Coffee and Waffles sign. Staff is fantastic with great energy. The waffle? Well not so much. It was fresh and hot but overly dense and chewy. Not the way a waffle should be. Recipe needs reworked. See pic. Interior should be airy.

Order a matcha and when walking to our table saw the bottle of batch matcha that was made the previous day. Order the matcha with oat milk and it was clumping at the top. Flavor and color wasn’t it. The service and quality used to be good but it’s been going downhill in the last couple years.
