An amazing visit to Strizzi’s in Pleasanton. A real pleasure to eat in a family run restaurant. The food was delicious and loads of GF options. Thank you, next time we are in California we shall be visiting.
Good food and quick service! Would recommend!
Absolutely incredible staff and food was impeccable! Not a better spot anywhere in the Livermore area! And Lillian is incredible accommodating large parties or events!
Great food and atmosphere. It was a Monday night so lots of places to sit. With outdoor dining we were able to sit on the side of the building next to the colorful mural and lights on railing as well as lights on the umbrellas. It made a great atmosphere with the glow and colors. Food came out quick and our server Juan made a great recommendation for wine. He had a great attitude and good jokes and made sure we were taken care of, definitely made a good evening great. Would absolutely come back here again.
I went there with my Niece her boyfriend and my Nephew for a early Birthday Dinner and the food was Spectacular and the appetizers were Great! Steak, Spaghetti 🍝 chicken Parmizon and the Desserts were outstanding 👌 well worth the Drive from Modesto and Tracy Will do it Again!!!!!! And Again!
We were welcomed with open arms after being treated with disrespect from Zephyr Grill. The food was fantastic the service just as good. We would return in a heartbeat exclamation point thank you for a wonderful evening!
I had the seafood fettuccine and the shrimp war to die for the scallops were also perfect. Our waitress Maggie was super delightful and handled the children perfectly. I could not have asked for better service.
I had my 60th birthday dinner with 15 of my friends at Strizzi’s in Livermore. Lillian was extremely helpful and accommodating. The service, food and staff was also excellent. Thank you!
Great spot! It is a family favorite. Staff were warm and welcoming, it was a Saturday afternoon and we didn’t need a reservation. Portion sizes are large which was surprising! I had enough to eat and to go for later. We also happen to drop in during the time where we could have a free salad or soup with our meal.
What can I say about this catering service? The 5 star review is not enough. We had an anniversary event for our car club this past weekend and had hired Strizzi to cater the event. There was a slight mix up before the food arrived but the gentlemen that showed up to cater with us, Cameron and Terry, were above and beyond accommodating and amazing! Even with the mix-up and the slight issues we had they still stayed and served 300 people in under an hour!!!! No complaining or negative attitudes. The men made our guests completely happy! We will be using them in the future to feed our family and friends.
The food was great. The Fuji Apple Salad was delicious. The Wagyu Burger was juicy and amazing. My oldest kid loved the cheese pizza, it was super fresh and he’s picky. And my youngest enjoyed the cheese ravioli, the sauce was super tasty. Plus the customer service was top notch. Highly recommend.
I'm from out of town, looked for Italian restaurants in this area. Tried Strizzi's and absolutely great. I will definitely come back again. Katy was very nice.
My wife and I went there on a Monday about 3 weeks ago. We both ordered lasagna. It took longer than normal for our food to be served. During our wait, the waiter came over several times to apologize and see if we needed anything. When the food came at last, it was delicious. When we got the check, they had comped us one of the meals. We didn't have to ask or even complain. That was a very thoughtful and kind gesture on their part.
Enjoyed an absolutely delicious lunch today, one of the best meals I've had in a while. Everything had so much flavor. It was a perfect day to eat on the patio - the was attentive and helpful. We will definitely be coming back!
As soon as you walk in your gonna get a good smell of the food they are cooking. We came after having drinks next door, but this place has drinks & tvs for those that need to watch nfl. Grilled chicken is the best, and there apple salad. The chicken pesto is delicious, both plates had very good taste. Waitress & host are attentive. Stop in grab a bite, & head next door for drinks. We will be back.
Great food and service. Love the desserts too. Charles was very nice and attentive. Another great experience the chicken parm and Lasagna are my favorite. Even with a party of 35 they were attentive. I cant get enough Lasagna and really like the clam chowder. It is thick, creamy and has chunks of potato. 3/1 Amazing service again. Props the waiter (Engineer) Great experience. Forgot how much I really like the Chicken pesto and pine nut dish. 1-31 love this place. Cant get enough. Thank you
The lasagna was good, but I had better. The salad 🥗 was delicious. However, I was also disappointed that the establishment had no booths to seat us at. Nonetheless, I would continue to patronize this restaurant.
Fantastic restaurant with Italian flare but a variety of options on the menu. They have an impressive Italian inspired seafood selection, but also some grilled items with veggies and potatoes. Great server and great atmosphere. Highly recommend
On a Saturday afternoon, the place was not crowded at all. The server was very pleasant and patient with our special dietary preferences. And the Chef looked pretty poised and in control. All our dishes tasted well, we ordered Pork Chop, Cajun Fettuccine and Cajun Risotto. The appetizer was tomato bisque, one of the best I have tried. Loved the food and the service. But again it was not a busy time.
We had couple of pastas made vegetarian on request and they both were delicious. Alfredo in Cajun sauce was the best. Friendly staff and fast service. Overall good Italian restaurant.
We found this place strolling downtown Livermore. Great food, beautiful restaurant and a great location. The food was fantastic! We recommend!
The waiters there are super nice and very helpful!!!! With their guidance I picked out the salmon rice bowl with Asian glaze, absolutely Amazing 🤩!!!! Nothing was leftover on my plate 🍽️ Definitely a must order and going to come back! Thank You For my Pokemon Go players there are a few gyms and pokemon stops.
We loved it! Busy restuarant but service was very good our food was even better.

The historic restaurant has a great view of downtown Livermore. The food was prepared quickly and with excellent presentation. The front of the house service was a little slow for my taste though servers were very nice and helpful when they did come around. Nonetheless, Strizzi's is a very nice place to relax and dine.
Prices going up and portions shrinking, it's tough all around. I'm sure everyone misses the old days! Great service, tables clean, 4 tables occupied during dining, but couldn't get a goodbye when we left.
Almost everything we ordered tasted amazing. The appetizers and salads were very good the sauces on the food we're on point the only negative is that the chicken was so dry I could not finish it, and the staff either didn't notice or refuse to acknowledge that there was a problem with it because they never once asked. In their defense, that is probably how they are trained to ask if you would like your food to go or only ask things that would affirm a positive response rather than the negative. Either way no one asked why the entree was barely touched. Hopefully it was a one off and will be better next time everything else was good and would bring us back
As downtown regulars in Livermore, we've dined here about 8 times. So I always dislike rating any establishment on just one experience, but we've had two instances where our service was less than ideal. But 6 out of 8 is pretty good. For what its worth, I don't see that particular server there anymore. The food is just delicious, please go with an appetite because the portions are generous. We took the whole family (5 of us) and shared 3 meals. The kids played in the little green space as we dined outside. You'll enjoy sitting outside. Dinner is quite a bit pricier than lunch so bang for the buck is definitely lunch. Enjoy!
Stopped here for date night on a Saturday evening. We had to wait maybe 10 mins and the staff was so apologetic for a long short wait. The staff was so busy yet they were so attentive. The service throughout dinner was fantastic. Now honestly the food was average, i had the house special which was a jalapeno ravioli. The pasta dish honestly felt like it was straight out of a can with canned chese sauce. While the food was good it was nothing to rave about. Overall food was avg but the service was great!
We went here before a show at the Bankhead theater on the Friday before Valentine's day. I had high hopes for this restaurant based on other reviews but sadly, I was underwhelmed. We ordered the chicken alfredo and the lasagna and it seemed to have been over cooked, both tasted ok. The best part of the meal was the dessert that we ordered from the Valentine's week menu, the Italian lemon cream cake. They seemed to be under staffed as our server seemed overwhelmed. We thought that the bright lights gave the ambiance more of a cafeteria feel.
My favorite restaurant in Livermore. The moment you walk into the place, you are greeted with the smell of Italian food lifting you off the ground. It gives such a cozy vibe while the restaurant itself is upscaly. My regular combo: Cajun chicken risotto and Roy Rogers. And it makes my day. Highly recommended. Wife tries out new stuff like the fettuccine this time while I stick to my usual thing. Never been disappointed.
Great neighborhood restaurant. My family took me here to celebrate Fathers Day. Clam Chower soup is definitely my personal favorite..
I had the smoked pork chops and my wife the salmon. The service was very good 👍. The pork chops were on the salty side, but mixed with the mashed potatoes it tasted better. The sourdough bread was fresh and soft. Salmon was just okay, according to my wife and she was a fan of the vegetables.

Usually terrific food. 3 out of 4 in our party would rate their meal at least 4 star. I ordered different food than usual. Lasagna was disappointing, predominant flavor was raw tomato paste. Minestrone soup was good but not up to past experience.

Sunday morning and not crowded inside although the patio was pretty full. Extremely distracted, nonchalant service left us constantly having to flag someone down for simple things like drink refills, sweetener for the tea, butter for the waffle, and all of those little things that add up to a semi-annoying experience overall. I have been here before and had better food but this time the service had an impact on that as well because the waffle was completely cold since it sat in the window so long and the salad was completely soggy with dressing.
The atmosphere was fine, the service was slow. We arrived and asked for 2 waters and for some reason it took about 10 minutes to receive them. We gave our full order including bruschetta and about another 10 minutes we received the appetizer. About 20 minutes later we received our salad and soup. Both were good. My wife's entree was good, but my my seafood fettucini ($33) was not. The alfredo sauce was like water and the noodles undercooked. We had a tough time getting the attention of our waitress - had to ask for refills on our water and when she came, she started to walk away when we pointed out our soup and salad dishes were done and she could take them. She may have been in experienced --- but due to the food and the service, it will be a while before I go back.
Ambiance: very local and historic vibe. Warning: think twice about wearing favorite shirts here because the smoke just doesn’t go away after two days… They really need to fix something here to air the restaurant better. Food: overall is nice; the meatball sauce is perfect but the meatball texture is not meaty and feels like too much starch is added like those cheap ones. The pasta texture is good and we loved the lasagna and could be better if we can actually taste more of the tomato. Both pasta was the combo set, and the portion is good and we get to try the clam chooser and salad at the same time, which are both good. Service: don’t be surprised, but this is the first common restaurant where I encounter a staff says “pardon my reach” to refill our glass. Thumbs up 👍
I have heard really good things about this place but I was disappointed. The service was great; our server was amazing. But the food just so so. Presentation nice, taste just okay. I felt like I had to season all of my own food when it got to the table to make it decent

Chicken parmesan .. felt like the chicken was old precooked, cooked again or reheated with breading extremely dry(pic), tasted okay but clearly tasted little stale. Same with the pasta(pic), tasted okay but very sad looking pasta felt like someone was trying to create something not sure of end result.
We liked the food very much, very tasty The attention was what we didn't like, there were two guys who had a face as if they were obliged to work, the boy who attended us did it well, I left a cash tip, we had to leave, unfortunately we didn't see the boy who attended us, and the girl who was inside the restaurant receiving people took the notebook with the tip, i for the one, since she asked if it was for her or for the boy who attended us, which I replied that it was for the boy who attended us

We were in Livermore Friday November 8th, to see a play at the Bankhead directed by a friend. I chose Strizzi because it was nearby and the menu looked good. When we arrived, a member of the waitstaff sat us and gave us menus, then completely ignored us. After 20 minutes, they had sat and taken orders for 5 other tables, and didn't even bother to bring us water. By that time, it was too late to find another restaurant and the play lasted until 10, so we really needed to eat. I walked up to the manager, and he pretended he didn't know we hadn't been helped, but instead of instructing the staff to help us, he said he would help us himself (along with doing his duties). It took another 5 minutes to bring us water, and then I insisted he take our order. I told him we were going to a play and needed to eat and leave. He brought us bread, but when the food arrived, they just piled it amongst the no longer needed bread plates instead of removing them, making the table very crowded. No one checked to see if we were okay during our meal, while stopping to chit chat with the other tables, bring them things and make sure they had every thing they needed. It was as if we were vermin. I had to stop a wait person to get our check, and he rushed over to the manager who had been helping us to take care of it. The manager took the price of our drinks off the bill, since we'd 'waited so long for service'----not nearly enough of an apology in my estimation. I paid and we left. My tween and teen granddaughters were dumbfounded. They recognized exactly what was going on, it was so very blatant. It was as if they wanted this Black family to just leave.
The food had absolutely no flavor! I’ve no idea what happened with the restaurant, the food used to be good, but now it’s just gone downhill. I, alongside 3 other people, ordered the chicken fettuccine Alfredo and it had no flavor and was extremely watery. A good pasta is creamy but the pasta served tasted like the sauce was mostly water. The chicken also had no flavor and was rubbery and soggy. The waiters were very nice, but the food was just not good! We left with full plates and empty stomachs. To summarize: overpriced and no flavor.
I didn't feel invited when walking into the door or like I was a priority. My husband and I felt like an afterthought as far as our requests being met. Something as simple as no ice in our water couldn't be remembered to be met. We ordered the wagu which was almost a 40 dollar dish and everything about the dish was wrong. It was overcooked, flavorless, and the sides weren't even hot. The worst part is that it wasn't even a wagu steak, it was a network strip. And it was thinner than the plate it was on. We were very displeased and when brought to the attention all we got was an apology. No remake and no compensation. Unless the service and chef changes, we will not be coming back.
Terrible decision on order food from here, I had been craving spaghetti. So I had figured why not try here, I haven’t been here in years. The fact that I paid $50.00 for 1 plate is ridiculous, I didn’t even finish it. I took maybe 10 bites and threw it away, meatballs were disgusting. The bread was the only reason they are getting a star. Don’t recommend
Called ahead to place an order for pickup. Was told it would just be a moment, but wound up on hold for more than 10 minutes. I called again, and was placed on hold for another 10 minutes. My family has eaten here for many years, and we were very disappointed by the lack of communication and poor service. We will be taking our business elsewhere.
I would say that this restaurant has excellent service. The waiters are very friendly, the place is clean, and the area where it is located is nice. However, my husband and I felt that the food tasted like frozen food reheated in a microwave. We have eaten authentic Italian food before, and this was nothing like that. For the price, it is too expensive for what they serve. They mention including garlic bread in their suggestions, but we did not receive it. Instead, what was served was packaged bread, like the kind you buy at a market. For these reasons, we would not return to this restaurant.
