Great place to get a tasty quick lunch for not a ton of money. Very fair pricing on their every day quesadilla and others. The only downside is their parking lot is a little awkward but that also adds to the charm
Their food is good with fairly reasonable prices. They tend to be a little on the salty side. The staff are usually quite friendly. They are on my regular Taco Tuesday rotation.
The owners of this restaurant are incredibly community-oriented, donating space and resources to our student organization. They graciously allowed us to use their patio, fed us amazing tacos (I recommend the bacon and cheese!), and helped our event to run smoothly. They did this just to help out the UNT community, and we are so, so grateful to them! If you're looking for a bite to eat, this place is quick, efficient, friendly, and is invested in the Denton community.
Amazing food and amazing service. plus the best Seasoning's, including a great dine in experience. Friendly, Courteous service. For a family of 4 we paid about $10 ( brunch time )
Love this place. They have the best breakfast tacos! And I love that they give you chips and salsa with just about every to go order.
I have been going to this place for over 15 years and they NEVER disappoint!!! 10/10 Breakfast Tacos hit thw spot everytime!!
I got tacos al pastor, they were really delicious. We were a party of 8 and it tooks little longer to serve us our food. But was real mexican flavor 😋 i recommend 💯
We love this place! Things are simple and straight forward. I try to visit each time I get to Denton. It is a great place to sit and decompress for about an hour or so over a great meal.
Thank you for always feeding me tacos when I need them the most. The chips that come with them really takes y'all over the edge... the edge to delicious enjoyment. Just wish I remembered to ask for extra salsa. It's good.
I have came here for so long now and the people are so nice to me. I love their beef tacos.
Finally tried this place for first time today ordered there famous burrito perfect flavor ground beef seasoned excellent and perfect portions of cheese sour cream and guacamole it was great definitely going back to try there other food as well and love how it's family owned and operated great place
I can say I've been around this place the last twenty years. When the owners let their children run the place you couldn't have paid me to eat here. Service awful, poor food quality, and not very professional. Now that the mother and father are back in charge, the business has done a 180. Back to the good old days of delicious food, top notch service, and a spotless building. So happy to say this place BACK and doing better than ever. Jason Trahan
First of I the service was AMAZING!!! I went to eat lunch with my 4 daughters and I felt like I was a child again in my mommas kitchen. The owners are so kind and polite. Food was super delicious. Definitely going back.
Amazing and fresh place. Food is very hot 🔥 so good . It only took me a few minutes to eat it all. Rice, beans and chicken flautas were the best. It an hour away from my house but they made everything so good and tasty. I'll be back soon.
They are the best!!! Their chips and salsa are fantastic. The chicken fajita plate is my favorite. Their staff are always cheerful, pleasant, and helpful. I have done business with them for many many years! YUMMO!
Wonderful food served in a caring and kind way Every time I eat here I smile the food is great and so are the people
Awesome food! Great staff! Clean Bathrooms! Just WISH they had evening hours so I could go more often.
I love everything about this place! It's cheap and they make breakfast tacos all day long! My kinda place! I usually order the potato and egg, bacon and egg, and the chorizo and egg. Their tacos are small, but filling and they usually ask if you want cheese. I think it might be a little extra. Most of the time, they cook the eggs with a nice mix of onions and bell peppers. I've been a couple of times where they didn't include the veggies. But when they do, it's the proper filling to tortilla ratio. Also, their margaritas are yummy, and all their meals come with chips on the side and fresh salsa.
The family here is amazing. They offer great food at a great value. The matriarch is an amazing lady with a heart of gold and sharp wit. Love it and will keep coming back for more.
Always get the same thing with my parents when we go for breakfast before going grocery shopping. 2 Egg Bacon & Cheese Tacos with a Pepsi. It's been a mom & pop place and always will be very clean and awesome people that work there. Or their Barbcoa it's good too!!
This is always my go to place when in Denton. Very family friendly, always smiling faces. The food is always fresh and delicious. The nachos are always my favorite dish! Be sure to check them out if you're in town!!
I get my breakfast here on my way to work frequently, the staff are always very nice and the food is tasty at a great price. I have had no issues with them and I always like their customer service and food.
Fantastic hidden gem. Quick drive thru service and the food was super tasty and affordable. I did not take pics but had a chicken soft taco. Every order comes with salsa and chips that are placed loosely in your to go bag.. just need a few more.chips. The salsa tasted homemade and had great flavor. And the best treat was a big cup of the Horchata.... yummm.. desert thru a straw... not too sweet but rice milk I believe with some cinnamon added.
I've been going here well over 10 years. Love the owners and the food! Favorite place in Denton. Love their tamales and tacos so much! Also the salsa is a MUST. Good all around.
We stopped here for a late lunch while visiting my niece at UNT. It has a welcoming, pleasant atmosphere and the food was very tasty and reasonably priced. The owner was incredibly friendly and kind. My niece accidentally left her keys here and when we were retracing our steps and landed back at Mi Casita they had just closed for the day, but the owner had her keys and had been waiting for us to come back. Great family-run establishment!
If you’re in Denton, Mi Casita serves up the best burritos in town! Their burritos are massive, flavorful, and filled with fresh, authentic ingredients. The seasoned meats, perfectly cooked rice, and homemade salsas make every bite unforgettable. Don’t miss their signature carne asada burrito—it’s a local favorite! Great food, friendly service, and a cozy atmosphere make Mi Casita a must-visit.
Mi Casita Mexican restaurant offers a delightful dining experience with its flavorful breakfast and lunch plates. The menu boasts a variety of traditional Mexican dishes prepared with care and authenticity. The breakfast options are especially noteworthy, with dishes like huevos rancheros and breakfast burritos that are sure to satisfy any craving. The lunch plates are equally delicious, featuring classics like tacos, enchiladas, and fajitas, all served with generous portions and fresh ingredients. One of the highlights of dining at Mi Casita is the chips and salsa! The chips are perfectly crispy, and the salsa is bursting with flavor to suit every taste preference. Chips and salsa set the stage for an enjoyable dining experience. The ambiance of the restaurant is warm and inviting, with friendly staff providing excellent service. Whether you’re stopping by for a quick bite or a leisurely meal with friends and family, Mi Casita Mexican restaurant is a fantastic choice for delicious Mexican cuisine in a welcoming atmosphere.
Even if you’re just ordering a single Ala carte menu item (breakfast tacos all day! Or a fajita taco) they will throw some chips and salsa in the bag. Guac too with fajita taco! Great value.
Mi Casita has become one of my favorite restaurants. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is enjoyable. The salsa taste delicious and fresh, I can eat it all day. I have had the tacos, flauntas, and quesadillas, and I was not disappointed.
I love the bean and potato tacos. And the salsa on the table is crazy fresh and perfect on everything. A wonderful family owned business and a gem in our town. I wish they had more options for vegans, but I could totally live on the bean and potato tacos. Yum.
The food is so delicious. Their breakfast items are available all day, for us late starters. The staff are extremely friendly, helpful, personable and really make you smile. I drive out of my way for MI Casita. The food is fresh, not frozen nor substitutes used. Prices are competitive and reasonable especially for the quality. I wish their were more Mi Casitas. The salsa and chips are excellent as well. Just can't say enough good about this restaurant.
Mi Casita has really good breakfast tacos, fajitas, nachos and enchiladas. Their sauce is unique and is really good. They have pretty fast drive through service and are usually very friendly. You can dine.in or drive through. They are not staying open past 4:00 pm for a while now. All food is fresh and authentic!
I've been eating Mi Casita for over 17 years and it's always been delicious. The owners are awesome, they keep the restaurant very clean. They've kept their prices low. Just love having them in Denton. They've never disappointed.
Best local Mexican food! HANDS DOWN!!! Been going there for over 20 years. I CRAVE their salsa frequently.
Best place in Denton for grab and go breakfast tacos with quality ingredients and delicious salsa (order extra, you won’t be sorry)! If you’re ordering more than 6 breakfast tacos, call ahead and order by phone for faster service. Also a great place to get a hot, authentic Mexican lunch. Take your coworkers or family from out of town - they’ll be impressed. One of a kind!
I placed an order for a very large order this weekend for a family party. I only gave Mi Casita one hour notice to have everything ready and they said it would be no problem. Everything was ready on time and beautifully packaged. We had plenty of food with leftovers to boot and the food was excellent! The service was top notch from the initial phone order to the owner carrying my order out to the car. Personalized friendly service was wonderful. Thank you Mi Casita! We will be calling you again for our catering needs!
The food is delicious and always love how pleasant everyone is. Their taco salads are just soooo yummy!! But everything is great! I usually don't do refried beans but the way they season them i love them!
You can’t go wrong here! The food is excellent and well-priced and the people are extremely friendly. Make it your regular stop for Mexican in Denton!
The fajitas are crazy good and reasonably priced the service was great. Definitely going to be back!
The service from what I’m assuming is one of the owners was great, he was very friendly and kind, the food was also great I had the cheese enchiladas they were very warm and tasty as well as the best salsa I’ve ever had, the atmosphere was a 10/10 so many cool things to admire and look at it felt so homey inside, overall 10/10 best Mexican food in Denton so far I’ve tried.
Finally found a place that reminds me of home in San Antonio. Thank you for great food and great service!
Absolutely AMAZING food their queso was delicious and full of flavor. Chicken enchiladas with salsa Verde were amazing and stuffed with chicken. Classic beef taco were really good not greasy at all and very juicy meat. Definitely will come back
I walked into this restaurant not knowing what to expect. Not only was the food great the owner was so friendly and personable. He shared his journey and how he came to have such a great restaurant. This family is very hard working and the food is pretty authentic. I ordered the fresh guacamole and chicken fajita nachos. They were both delicious and fresh! The salsa was pretty good as well a little spice, but a lot of flavour. We definitely will be back to enjoy their outdoor sitting.
Great prices. Has the feel of a sit down restaurant, even offering some table service. The service isn't the same level as an actual sit down place, but really exceptional for a fast food establishment. They make everything fresh so there can be a wait at times.
Good food for cheap prices. I also ran into Jason Lee while there. He was not wanting me to photo him so I didn't. Sorry Jason, didn't mean to make you nervous. You're the best though. LoL I've seen a lot of your movies.
Very good place to eat Mexican Cuisine in Denton TX. Very good people (Staff). They are friendly and very caring. Talking about food, I enjoyed Chicken Fajitas Plate which was delicious in taste and in good quantity. And fresh Salsa was damn good. They have place to dine in and dine out. Very well maintained and hygienic.
Forgot they have a little stand on University Dr. but stopped in for a breafast burrito this morning. So glad I did! I truly forgot how great their food is. Love their salsa - definitely the best in Denton and the burritos were great. Even the chips were fresh and a great addition. They've still got it!
Service was very personal and helpful. Flavor of the food was was average - I had a chicken fajita burrito. The cost was reasonable. I enjoyed it and will add it to my rotation.
Great food almost no space to sit inside. But wonderful drive through
Was not expecting much from this tiny hole in the wall but it was great! Wish I’d taken food pics - we had tacos, nachos, fajitas, enchiladas…and every one was super happy and the portions were large! Really liked the thin crispy warm chips, salsa and guacamole. The owners delivered the food themselves and checked on us, nice friendly people. They also have a drive through and seemed to do a steady carry out business.
Decent food at decent prices. The service isn’t anything exceptional but the food is alright. The drive thru is non-operational and there is very limited seating inside, but food is tasty enough. There has never been a line when I have gone in so the food has come out quickly, which is always a plus! Overall, pretty good Mexican food at average pricing.
Had another well known taco place in town and then had MI Casitas breakfast tacos big difference. Response from my best friend and I. Marvellous breakfast tacos and gave away free chips and salsa. Gotta have the heart to give and that's what makes a place stand out.
Restaurant has places to sit down and eat after you order your food. Ordered a burrito that had ground beef and beans and it was cold and the cheese wasn’t melted. Portions are small.
The only seasoning in the taco meat was salt, and there was too much of that. Also the meat was dripping grease. The chips we're stale. C'mon I've eaten here before and it's been much better than this. This is not up to your usual standards.
Was ok. Food decent, but menu not always clear. We got shredded chicken on the nachos, then heard after someone else was ordered the option of fajita chicken... All in all not bad, just ok for the price
Our family had dinner here Friday night. Their Friday special was fajitas for $6.99 (beef, chicken, or combination). It came with rice, beans, salad, shredded cheese, and either sour cream or guacamole and three flour tortillas. They were out of guacamole for the day (I believe we were there around 7:00 pm). The fajitas were excellent and I thought it was a great price for the serving we received. We ordered chips and salsa (I believe it was $2.99) and a bowl of queso (that was extra as well but I don't recall the price). After we sat down we realized that there was salsa already on each table in squirt bottles. Turns out, it was the same salsa we paid to get with our chips. It had a great flavor and a very generous bowl full but had we known it was free on the table we wouldn't have ordered it and paid extra. The queso was just okay but the kids liked it. We ordered extra tortillas which the owner told the cashier not to charge us for (very nice), however we never got them. They have a nice outdoor patio seating area (we tried to sit out there but the mosquitos ran us off...not the restaurants fault). Lastly, the parking lot is very small and has limited parking. That said, we enjoyed the food and the friendly service and would definitely give it another try.
Wow! I have never been treated so rudely by this place. Probably the rudest service I have had in a restaurant ever. Their service has always been great. I went through the drive through and sat there a minute but no one came on the speaker. The truck behind me was tapping on the side of their truck as if they were impatient and I was taking too long. So, I pulled up to the window. The lady came after a couple of minutes. I was about ready to call and see if anyone was alive in there. She asked if I ordered. I don’t think the truck behind me ordered either because they waited a moment then pulled up and THEN I heard the speaker come on. When I told her no one came on the speaker so I pulled up, she just scowled at me and argued that she did come on but I didn’t wait! You could have just said - Not a problem, what can I get for you? Or, at least smile. My food came out quickly and it’s always good but when they handed it to me, she did not say one word. Not a thank you or anything. There are too many choices around here to treat your customers like this. I always tip generously even for drive through service but not today Satan. I’m sure I’ll go back because I’ve been going there forever, but come on, not cool.
The service was good. The nachos were missing flavor. They use shredded cheese, so it melts only on the chips it touches. I prefer the liquid cheese. The serving size was very generous though, very filling.
The atmosphere here is nice. It really feels like a family business. The service was warm and quick. The food unfortunately wasn't that great. I had 2 kinds of breakfast tacos. The potato egg taco was alright. My chorizo egg taco had egg shell in it. The coffee was not very good and the chips were mediocre.
My first and last time eating here. I came in with friends for lunch on 1/27. The guy that took our order already seemed like he was having a bad day. I got a beef (3) taco plate but didn't know that it was ground beef they put in it and not fajita beef. I asked one of the waiters if I could swap it for the street tacos, which I had to ask my friend about since I didn't see it on the menu. The guy that took our order then came to our table incredibly defensive and argued about there being ground beef in the beef tacos. I don't recall hearing ground beef, but I can admit when I'm wrong. He then snatched the tacos off my plate and walked to the kitchen. I didnt ask to be refunded for the taco plate and charged for the street tacos as that would've been a hassle. I'm giving 2 stars because the 2 street tacos he did bring out were really good, but im never coming back because I don't want to be treated like an annoyance as soon as I step foot in your restaurant.
Ordered ground beef and cheese nachos and they looked great but were very bland. The meat had no flavor or seasoning and the chips had no crunch to them but they weren't soggy either. The consistency was as if they were put in the microwave to melt the cheese on top. The only thing that saved the nachos and added a little flavor was the salsa and pico that was included.
Disappointed in no dinner hrs. Like to post something positive but can't. Very disappointed.
Honestly the atmosphere is fantastic and so is the customer service , but all my food was bland. It had no seasoning save for the delicious chips and queso. I expected a bit more considering the beautiful reviews. Rice and beans tasted old..
Last time I was there I ordered the beef nachos, and 20 minutes went by before the server said, oops, sorry, forget your order was in line -- by the time I got them they were barely lukewarm and the chips were absolutely soggy.
Gave two stars for the simple fact that they give complimentary chips even for to go orders. The food however, is not something I will be returning for. It's not to bad but the fact that my rice was stuck together and hard as if it was old or reheated in a microwave on a paper plate. My taco shell was very stale and it completely ruined my lunch. These simple things could have been easily avoided with fresh food. Not a very good first impression.
I drove thru for a couple grande burritos and was disappointed that it was 75% beans. 🫤 the rice on the side had little flavor and dry. I hate to leave these on a negative but when you’re hoping for tasty Mexican you have to speak up when it’s not.
I did a pick up order for this place so I’m assuming I should try to dine-In next time. I ordered the beef nachos, and unfortunately my chips were very soggy and hard to chew. They put a lot of beans on the nachos which I couldn’t really enjoy. I can see the potential because the food was flavorful. I had high hopes due to people recommending it to me. Maybe I’ll try it again eating inside and requesting no beans.
Your manager on the evenings is super rude. She barely smiles and payes more attention to her family dining at the restaurant than the actual customers. She was wearing old stringy thin sandals while serving food. I don't believe that's very sanitary. I love the other manager I believe her name is Martina or something. Also I had ordered with the manager lady and she forgot to put my order in becausr she was too busy playing with her grandchild. So 30 minutes later I go and ask about my order and a very nice lady comes and apologizes on behalf of the manager. Super, super RUDE! Won't be going at nights I will stick to lunch. This was on 2/2/2017 by the way. Evening manager!!!!
Poor customer service and do not advertise their many upcharges on their menu. They did not have table service. Many better priced places in denton including table service + chips and salsa. I do not recommend this place.
Food is okay, nothing special. Low rating is due to very poor customer service. They upcharge you for things you did not order. IF you decide to go there make sure you ask as many "is that extra" questions as possible. EXAMPLE. Order a burrito, they ask what kind of meat?, you do not specify the standard they upcharge you and do not indicate they are doing so. It's one thing if they notify you of the upcharge but they dont. AND they do not advertise on their menu the price upgrades on what ever they are charging you extra for. This is not the way business is conducted. That extra money they took me for is the last they will get from me, too many better places to go with better customer service.
This is not Mexican food. Flavor not there. Tortillas tasted store bought. Pretty sure they were. Was very disappointed cause they had lots of newspaper clippings but definitely not Mexican.
Food was good but they accidentally charged us $118 instead of $18, told us it would take several business days to fix, and generally did not seem to care that they had ruined our entire weekend by cleaning us out. Didn’t even offer to not charge us or discount our meal or give us coupons or anything. We also had to wait in the parking lot for almost twenty minutes for the manager to come talk to us. I’m so very disappointed that this experience has colored my opinion of them.
Hi, I wanted to share my experience with everyone. I ordered some fajitas from this place. The food was not very good. I ordered a mix combo of chicken and beef. Well, most of it was chicken and onions. There was no beef, very disappointing!!!! I called and spoke with the manager, he said they do a mix of 4 to 1 mixture. Well it was all chicken and onions. Tortillas were cold, I ordered desert for 20 people, we got 13 sopapillas. They sent ice tea and 8 cups and 4 plates. Ps, if I could post a pic of the fajitas i would post it! Not a very good experience!!!!! J
Have come here for many years , mostly for breakfast tacos and when they had small drive through on university.....came in early Friday am , decided to go inside as drive through was full , upon entering there is a voice that says "front door " , I stood at counter and watched 2 employees talking to each other while working , after a couple minutes I asked if anyone was working front counter , one lady asked , do you want something ? I said yes, to place an order , she turned away and said something in Spanish, no one came to the counter ......guess if you want anything you , you will only get to do so if you go through drive through...... really sad .....won't go back
Went to the Mi Casita location on University looking for either a steak torta or a steak taco plate. Also asked if the individual tacos came with rice or beans. He wouldn’t let me finish my questions before cutting me off with a short “No” every time. I was told that I would need to go to their other location for the tortas. I went to the other location and was greeted with a short and unwelcoming “how can I help you”. When I asked if they had the steak torta or the steak taco plate I got a very rude NO MA’AM. I told her I was sent here from the other location: silence. I told her I would need a minute to look over the menu again: silence. I considered getting a couple of single steak tacos but changed my mind due to the price and the unfriendly service I got. Last time I got them they didn’t even come with cilantro and onions. I paid for two tortillas with dry meat. I told her “okay never mind, thank you” and again, silence. Now I’m headed to the Mexican meat market on Sherman. Very authentic, better prices, and I know they have what I want. I have worked in the fast food and service industry so I can understand if you’re out of something but don’t be rude about it. You could apologize and offer alternative food choices, especially when someone says they drove there from another location.
After more than two decades of eating here enough is enough. I went yesterday and ordered three potato, egg, cilantro and onion breakfast tacos and got quesadillas with large chunks of corn and canned mushrooms. I called and the owner’s oldest daughter answered. I told her I was overcharged and was extremely friendly and polite, waited on the phone for 9 minutes while she fumbled around repeatedly yelling at me saying she was “talking to her staff” while I just waited and listened to her giving her the exact time, amount, last four of my card, order details and then she hung up on me. I called back and asked if the man who answered was Matt (the owner) and he told me it was Matt, but it was apparently actually his brother, who then told me he voided the transaction, which I found out today was a lie. Today, I call back and talk to Matt and he doesn’t remember me, know who I am, doesn’t want me to come to his restaurant, but simultaneously accused me of doing the wrong thing by not just coming back and demanding more food. So impolite and mean-spirited, as a family business I can see why they have gone from having several locations to one over the years because there is no love or appreciation for loyal customers, even when they have repeated issues like this. I only wish Marisol had been there when I called after she walked out to the drive-thru line to take my order, because she was super sweet. This family does not deserve employees like Marisol.
Wasn't the best experience. The taco meet had a funny taste, the tostada shell was stale, the beans and rice were dry with no flavor and the chicken flauta was the best thing on my plate but that's not saying much.
I normally have a good experience with this establishment. However today the food was awful. I ordered two barbicoa gurdetos. When I first put my hand in the box I couldn't figure out why they were so wet and already falling apart. Upon closer inspection I realized that instead of the normal amount of meat they used to put in the majority of the contents were beans lettuce and tomatoes with a small scattering of meat. The worst one I've ever had. Even the person I gave the other one too said it was extremely nasty. I will not order them again and would like a refund. Yuck
Service and food were both bad. Their prices listed are false and they charge for everything. Burrito is supposed to 8.99 but they said it was 12.99 after I ordered steak. When I said it says 8.99 in the menu, the cashier laughed and said beef if 19.99 per pound- sarcastic and rude! Wouldn’t give them my business or recommend them to my friends.
I usually don't give reviews but couldn't stop myself this time. I like to patronize family owned restaurants but made a big mistake by eating for lunch here recently! The exterior looks inviting but food seemed stale and flavorless. Totally agree with another comment who said the refried beans seemed straight out of a can. Bad experience and wasted time and quite a good chunk of money. Hope our experience helps someone!
We had a table for 8 and we sat on the outdoor patio. The service was terrible. The drinks came out and the server spilled a coke onto my mother in law's area. The table was an expanded metal patio table and the drink went right through onto her legs and purse. They would not clean up the coke on the concrete and did not help her with towels. We expected to see a manager to comp her meal but one never showed. Been going here many years and we will never go back. It's in decline.
I ate at this place and I really cant see how they show more than 1 star. The service was sad, the tacos were cold and the tortillas seemed to be out of a package. I am Hispanic and I know Mexican food, and this was an insult to the culture. I know that there aren't many Mexican food establishments there but do not settle for this place. Any Mexican fast food place would be a much better choice. Taste and price.
The atmosphere and service has gotten so bad. Everyone is just Angry now. What happened to everyone being so sweet and friendly. Even the manager could care less, at least the big boy at the door called himself the manager.
I simply cannot understand how anyone could rate this place more than a 1 star. The service and food was awful, like something out of Kitchen Nightmares. My faith has been shaken in the agency who gave this place a Best of Denton 2024. Must be a low bar. Just look at the high reviews pictures. Looks like a kid made the food.. I ordered two chalupas, a grande burrito, and an enchilada plate (tamale, chicken, beef). My first warning sign should've been the sound of an electric can opener and click-clack of a microwave after I ordered. The chalupas flat and hard shelled - identical to a tostada. The rice was so overcooked each grain looked like a mini hot dog bun. The beans were canned, the meat was under seasoned, and the enchilada sauce was canned too - 100% guarantee. My wife, myself, and all 3 of my kids took one bite of our food and immediately lost our appetites. I brought the food back to the counter to raise these concerns, very nicely by the way, but what came next from the owner was shocking. When I let him know we got tostadas instead of chalupas, he told me that chalupas are meant to be hard, flat shelled. I later did some research and that is far from the truth. When I mentioned the rice seemed over cooked he began screaming at me asking if I expected him to make fresh rice for every customer. I let him know that the beans and enchilada sauce didn't seem fresh either and he continued screaming that I wasn't making sense and making stuff up. Mere minutes into the conversation his eyes were bloodshot and he was shaking. I even apologized if he didn't like my feedback, but he wouldn't stop screaming. His employees came up to him telling him to calm down as well. By that point I told him I was leaving because I was actually afraid he might physically attack me. $50 down the drain. This place is a scourge in this city and reflects the expedient downturn Denton is going. Time to get out of this hell hole of a city.
Unfortunately I have tried to give this place numerous chances, but they are always understaffed, and have extremely poor customer service! Being in customer service myself, I can say without a doubt that it’s better to go to their express location off of 380 which has limited hours. Apparently this is their 3 Huevos Ranchers plate. (which it definitely is not since this is what we have ordered before! They cut the two eggs into three sections as you can clearly see!)We did not get the side of chorizo that we asked for several times and paid for as well. We drove all the way back, they looked at the plate and said it was 3 eggs, and asked me “do you need the chorizo?” If I pay for something, I expect to receive it. Once getting home for a second time we realized that they didn’t give us tortillas that were supposed to come with the meal as well. The Mexican woman with huge hoop earrings and an attitude to match did NOTHING to apologize or try to make the situation better. Never going here again. DEFINITELY DO NOT RECOMMEND! If you take the risk of going, before leaving check your food 3 times to make sure it’s right and all there.
