Great restaurant & apres-ski spot with amazing views! Chalet La Rocca is a wonderful restaurant-pizzeria located right on the ski slope near Bormio 2000. It’s a perfect place to enjoy tasty food with stunning views over Bormio and the mountains from the terrace. You can choose to eat inside the restaurant if the weather is bad, sit outside on the terrace in good weather, or use the self-service area on the other side. There is also a bar with hot drinks, alcohol, a DJ, and a lively apres-ski atmosphere. If the weather is nice and you want a table on the terrace, it’s best to book in advance, especially between 12:00 and 14:00. There is a €3.50 seating charge, but it’s worth it. The food quality, portion sizes, service, and prices are all very good — excellent value for money. We ate here several times and were always very happy. Highly recommended for great food, views, and atmosphere.
You usually don’t expect much from bars by the ski slopes – more of a quick warm-up and off you go. But this place was a pleasant surprise. For a fast-food-style spot, the pizza was more than decent and made with quality ingredients. The beer selection was a nice surprise too – not just the usual lagers (or the typical Italian “Europils”), but also wheat beer and some other interesting options. Plus, there were plenty of warm drinks to choose from, whether to heat up or just enjoy – from mulled wine (though we had an even better one at another slope bar) to various warm liqueurs. All in all, a great little stop between runs, and we gladly came back a few times throughout the day. :) michaelnae-->(instagram)
Probably the best place for lunch with the most amazing views of the mountains. There is a separate area for a serviced table option on the other side of the restaurant, which we enjoyed every day.

I am not posting a lot ..but this restaurant together with the friendly staff .deserve a very good rating ..delicious food ..perfect atmosphere and the staff make it to a 5star rating !

Awesome music with a live DJ, service is phenomenal. We ordered some Bloody Marys and added some salt+pepper on our own. The moment they saw us do that they asked how we liked our drinks and since then they have been PERFECTION. Absolutely fantastic service and food. I recommend the Tatar Panini and of course, their Bloody Marys.

Best pizza on the slopes. Very kind service, good music and atmosphere. Our one and only base in Bormio.
Very popular place on the slopes with great views. You can stop by and probably find somewhere to sit outside on the chairs but make sure to reserve if you want to get a proper table! Gets very busy during lunch time.

Skiers and snowboarders perfect pit stop before going down the slopes for a warm - or a colder - drink or a bite in a full afternoon sunshine with spectacular views. Good spot for a lunch, too. La Rocca means the rock so rock music lovers may enjoy their tunes there before the ride.
Astonishingly good mountain food, pizzocheri off the scale. They even have good pizza, which is unusual on the slopes. Beautiful location, very entertaining waiters. Come early in season as it gets very busy.

Be carefull! Truffa! If you want to order "vimbrule" it will be not hot red vine. It will be warm colour water with sugar! 5€!!!!
The bald waiter is rather getting a myocardial infarct than picking up our order. We waited 2 hours before they ASKED what we wanted. Only one waiter can take food orders and he obviously cant handle it. Get some help. Giga understaffed and inefficient crew. They took over 40 minutes and 3 people to clean up a table next to us. They even took our order of drinks wrong. We all order beer like what??? I would rate the food if we got any...
Horrible service! waited 1hour to order, 20 min before we got the wrong order. Got the answer that other server has to come get the food order. After asking multiple times, he never came.
