Good for coffee or a spritz. Cocktails are decent but its a great spot to hang out, especially in the summer when they have the tables out. They also organize events, the vegan all you can eat with a drink one once a week was my favorite last year! Will be back this summer for sure ;)

Locale caratteristico, caldo ed accogliente, personale molto gentile e cibo di buona qualità. Magari non particolarmente economico ma questo non ne riduce il valore. Nella bella stagione i tavoli in cortile e la musica in sottofondo aggiungono ulteriore fascino.

Locale piacevole con tavoli all'aperto, vicino alla biblioteca. Possibilità di aperitivi molto ricchi e curati, spuntini, pranzi e cene, ma anche di un semplice caffè. Interessanti iniziative culturali. Possibilità di catering o rinfreschi in cerimonie. Personale cortese e competente.

Very quaint, right in the city center. On the ground floor, there's a small entrance hall, a large room where you can go just to read or study on certain days and at certain times, and another on the first floor. There are books to browse on site, interesting photographs on the walls, and they often host literary gatherings with authors or lectures. In the warmer months, the courtyard is perfect for lunches, dinners, and aperitifs. The staff is friendly, the menu is varied, quite interesting, and the dishes are unique and carefully prepared. Good value.

A particularly welcoming space with the possibility of having the library right next door. I have my breakfast on the terrace in the company of a book or friends. The service is full of friendliness. I recommend it...both in the morning and for an aperitif.

Friday with "open bar" wine for $10. Waitress tells you that you can drink "forever". However, forever lasted for only two hours and two glasses. But the place is cute.

Maybe it was because a wedding reception had just ended, but the service was a bit slow and the food modest. However, the location is beautiful, adjacent to a well-organized library. The staff was friendly and they allowed us to tour the 18th-century library.

Zanzara morta nel cestino del pane, fatta notare alla cameriera: ha preso il pane e messo su un altro piatto. Ordiniamo l’antipasto e dopo pochi minuti che lo stavamo mangiando arriva la pietanza principale, quindi mangio l’antipasto o l’altro piatto? La cameriera si giustifica dicendo che la cucina é veloce, non ho parole. Qualità del cibo nella media, senza infamia e senza lode, abbiamo mangiato un misto di formaggi con marmellate e miele, ma marmellata non è mai arrivata. A seguire un piatto libanese di cui non ricordo il nome, ma con i falafel, praticamente un wrap di un fastfood. Prezzo sopra la media

Very nice location. Good cocktails and average prices. Informal but inattentive, if not completely absent, service. No menu, wine list, or cocktail list. It wouldn't take much to make a big difference...

An exceptional, evocative, and classy location...or at least it was. I returned after a two-year absence and was very disappointed. At the back of the restaurant, an area covered with bamboo canes was hideous to say the least...and what's hidden is clearly visible. Tables and chairs were all different from each other, and some were even badly damaged. It's a shame, because in a place like this, very little would be enough to create atmosphere. There were few staff and terrible service. The cocktails were very good, but they were accompanied by nothing (no chips, no appetizers other than three bites of improvised food). I've been there three times in two weeks (the last one just yesterday for aperitif) just to see if it was a coincidence, but it keeps getting worse. I'm really sorry to give it two stars...but I can't help it. Let's hope it goes back to how it was before.

Siamo andate io e una mia amica a questo locale dove non c'era nessuno,siamo state trattate malissimo dal barista,che si è lamentato dicendo che se volevamo stare lì anche più di un paio di ore,non potevamo prendere solo un caffè,perché avremmo occupato troppo posto. Allora cosa lo chiamate caffè letterario se non si può stare un paio di ore per studiare?! Sicuramente quel posto d'ora in poi sarà libero, visto che io e la mia amica non torneremo più a causa del comportamento davvero irrispettoso del personale. Peccato perché se non fosse stato per il suo atteggiamento saremmo restate anche lì,ma abbiamo preferito andarcene. Se volete andare lì non ve lo consiglio,tra l'altro il caffè neanche era buono! Davvero vergognoso!

It was one of the most beautiful and characteristic venues in Lodi. My favorite. Full of young people, with lots of events. The location is simply fabulous; there aren't any better in Lodi. I'd been away for at least two years, unfortunately, but I found it empty, without staff, with the mezzanine dismantled. A place like this shouldn't be allowed to end like this! Bring it back to life!

I had chosen this venue for a book launch. However, a week before the event, the manager inexplicably stopped responding to calls and messages. Consequently, not knowing the details of the event I was supposed to host and not being able to travel comfortably (I live 200 km from Lodi), I had to cancel the launch. I should point out that despite having sent, as agreed, the necessary materials for the poster and invitations well in advance, the event had not been advertised in any way by the Caffè Letterario. I am truly shocked and incredulous at the manager's TERRIBLE and UNJUSTIFIED behavior.

I don't think I'd want to go back. We waited 45 minutes for hummus and falafel. When the waiter served us, he told us they were out of falafel. If he'd told us earlier, we probably would have ordered something else and eaten something for lunch. Oh, and the hummus was actually a sort of warm chickpea puree you eat with a spoon. When I pointed out at the cashier that I hadn't eaten what I'd ordered...or rather, that I hadn't eaten almost anything, nothing happened, so I paid anyway. I hope they improve the service because the place isn't bad at all.
