Taco Roco

I have been craving Mexican food like I am used to. I took a chance and went to Toro Loco on E. Ocean. I ordered a combo dinner to go. It was delicious, just what I was hungry for. I would highly recommend this restaurant!

YUM! I could eat here every day! The food is amazing and the people are great! I also love the location, Ocean is my most favorite side of town.

Great tacos. Friendly staff! The hottest salsa I've ever had up. I literally buy a jar of this salsa and take it home with me. I live 4 hours away.

The service at this restaurant is just so amazing, especially Jennifer and kalindy. They made sure I got exactly what I wanted and told me about their specials going on. They both have very positive attitudes and it’s just so contagious ! Jennifer even brought me chips and salsa and made sure everything was okay, I just love the positive vibes those girls have they make me wanna be here everyday of the week ! My food was so amazing I give a bit shout out to the cooks in the back, just so yummy !!!!!!!

Taco Loco is Awesome!! such kind and sweet staff, GREAT FOOD!!! my husband and I go there at least once a week. Also, their fence, outside is made of Beautiful wine barrel oak slats, So gorgeous! you should all go and see them!!!❤

Place opened with new owners after the original business there closed out several years ago. They have very similar dishes and it is just as good if not better. Been enjoying the food there since the 1980s. Always go back. And the hot souce is the best.

The man at the register was polite, friendly and had a conversation with my 80 year old mother in Spanish. It was sweet of him. Their food is delicious and the coffee de olla is excellent.

Still new to town but I've had the "Sampler" twice. Took the original, then later, got a bean burrito instead of beef. Both were great.

Love this place. Miss the sit down restaurant next door. Same food, one as fast food the other with table service.

Food is really good, however while we were eating they were mopping the floors with pine sol which really took away from and ruined my lunch :( hard to eat when smelling the strong scent of a detergent. They really should mop the floors at the end of the night when no customers are there or just use water.

Since they reopened, it's clean and friendly!! Food was good but wasn't AS good as before. But still good!! Live thier salsa and chips bar!! More room to sit too!! Will go back!!

Many love that place and I enjoy their burritos, but I wasn't impressed with the tacos. I had 3 kinds and wasn't impressed. I just won't get tacos again, but heck yeah on the burritos!

I had noticed this place earlier in the morning while driving looking for a fishing spot. Long story short.. Ended up getting a trespassing ticket for being on Airfoce base land looking for a place to cast my pole. While Leaving this beautiful town defeated we decided to pull over and grab a quick bite. The Toro Loco burger and menudo was delicious and massaged my bruised ego lol! If I'm ever back in Town I will definitely be stopping by!

Ordered a quesadilla. I dont know what to call this thing i got, but its not that. They just very conservatively, VERY CONSERVATIVELY, sprinkled some shredded cheese on it and called it a quesadilla. I mean it has meat and lettuce and tomatoes, but the queso is supposed to be the whole idea here.

As a revision to a previous review, I'd have to say that the dining experience at Taco Loco has progressively declined in recent months. The first few times the service was fast, friendly, and the food quality was up there for a Mexican Dive. Recently however, the service has slowed down and even food quality is now inconsistent. Today's experience was a testimony to their decline: We waited over a half hour before the lady communicated that they hadn't even started preparing the food. Consequently, we ran out of time and had to leave without eating. There are plenty of Mexican options in Lompoc to have to put up with this. Easily 2-stars!

I eat at this reastraunt often Monday night my husbands chimichanga was burnt Monday our whole order was soggy & cold &$32dollar order called spoke to manager he gave us credit for Mondays dinner tonight tried again found a long hair mixed in the meat of my tacos I actually had the hair in my mouth pulled it out laid it in lid of container called to let them know my hair is short and red this was long & brown. Girl from front counter was in kitchen helping out she lied said she had never been in the kitchen I have my daughter as a witness asked for managers name & phone number she told me I had no right to complain to her manager it is my right as a paying customer if this is not resolved with management then I will go to the better business bureau & health department 3 times in one week is to much then she told me she hoped my meal was OK kind of makes me wonder if this was planned

So many people recommended this spot and now I can’t take their word for it 😂. The salsa bar also kind of lacked flavor and spicy. Tried 3 different “hot” salsa they all sucked. I have had authentic Mexican food and this is not that disgusting food nasty salsa tastes out the can and overall just not a good place to go. Choose somewhere else
