I have been back to Annie’s today after a long time ( pandemic related absence mostly). I found outside a small cute table and it was a sunny day so really nice! The lady serving is was a familiar face to Annie’s and she was well lovely and friendly so thank you! I had an oat latte ( they use Oatly barista- my fav plant milk) and I also had a yummy vegan carrot cake. I will be back again !

Ambience is lovely , warm welcoming and cosy. The staff were attentive, approachable, and friendly. I enjoyed a lovely cocktail followed by a steak cooked to my liking and a naughty dessert shared with my friend. Recommend to go, whether it’s with friends , a date, or your partner. They even have an upstairs area if wanted a group setting.

Highly recommended! One of my favourite places in Chiswick. Great food and amazing cocktails! The manager (Daisy) definitely knows how to make some great drinks (no pre-mixed stuff guys!). And remember to ask about the Special’s of the week - I’ve tried to delicious Tiramisu Martini, it was my cheeky dessert treat for the evening 😉. The Lamb Burger is my favourite dish so far, but I highly recommend to try out their fish and chips or their Shepard’s pie 🥧. Top notch!

Phenomenal roast! Huge portion sizes, delicious flavours, and everything cooked to perfection. Easily the best roast in the area and excellent value for money. Breakfasts are also amazing, as are the cocktails… and staff… and service… and atmosphere! Honestly our favourite restaurant!

We had amazing time in Annie’s. We came over for a lunch. Service was great, food was delicious!!! They finally added beef to Sunday roast and was very tasty! We will be back!!

Manger daisy suggested the tacos and they didn’t disappoint. Daisy had a lot of knowledge about the menu and was lovely to talk too.

Very nice hidden gem. It is a bit pricey but the place is lovely. The staff were very friendly and also polite. There was a little wait to get the food but the place was full, so, understandable. We went for the brunch. Nice food, nice music. Would recommend and will go back to try the roast.

Loved it! The food was really hearty and warm. Loved every part of it. We ordered the mango chicken salad and hummus with grilled pita for starters which took around 10 mins to be served. The mango chicken salad is a must try! I’ll certainly go back for this. For mains, we had the shepherd’s pie and the grilled sea bass with lime rice and both were super good, it took around 25-30 mins for the main course to be served and it was totally worth the wait. For dessert, we had the sticky toffee pudding, it was delicious but not necessarily something I’ll personally re-order. The service and staff made the experience really special as they’ve been very welcoming and friendly. The atmosphere is Victorian English which we loved! We had a reservation made a few days in advance. They have an outdoor seating which is lovely if the weather is good but also two floors indoor.

This is the second time I’ve been to Annie’s in the last month and after all the years of living in Chiswick I only wished I went to it sooner! First time I had the daiquiri mocktail and veggie burger and the next time we went for a Sunday nut roast, only wish they had another 1-2 more veggie options on the Al a carte menu. The bloody Mary’s are so tasty - they pack a lovely punch. The friends we went with all really enjoyed their food and each person ordered something different. The staff are very welcoming and friendly, something that can be rare these days, and the ambience and decor are fab, we sat upstairs the second time which is so cute too. Thanks again for your hospitality Annie’s, we’ll be seeing you again soon!

I have now been to Annie’s for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and I have to say each experience has been impeccable. The food is outstanding, the restaurant itself is super pretty with stunning, Instagrammable decor, and the staff make you feel so welcome and looked after. The restaurant is in a beautiful location in Chiswick too, super close to the river, ideal for a walk before or after a meal. Annie’s is definitely one of my favourite restaurants in London.

An exquisite meal and experience. Annie's Chiswick delivers every time, and caters to all preferences. I had the vegan burger which was filling, tasty and a decent portion with delectable chips! My wife has the salmon as a main which she says was cooked to perfection. Despite being a busy Saturday night with all the tables being full, we received VIP treatment. The general manager Norbert, was charming and accommodating. We would definitely recommend the banoffee pie - it's their signature dessert and the portion is very generous. The cocktails look fantastic too! The staff including Rose and Reagan were absolute gems too. Annie's is undoubtedly one of our favourite restaurants. With stunning decor, it's easy to think this resto could be style over substance, but I assure you the quality of the food is on par with the amazing ambiance. Annie's is also renowned for their epic weekend brunches. I wholeheartedly recommend Annie's. It's a popular place so suggest booking in advance.

I visited with my husband last Friday. The restaurant was really nice 👍 and very close to riverside. Staff are very friendly and warm welcoming. We had a great dinner time! Lamb 🐑 steak is the best. And I do love French cider. Apple and honey flavor 🤩🤩 meal was beautiful!! We will visit again

One of my favourite restaurants in Chiswick. Beautiful environment, friendly service, tasty and well-cooked food. When I last visited, I had the rib-eye steak and a glass of wine, and also shared the halloumi and quinoa salad. Our waitress, Barbara, was very friendly.

We visited Annie’s for a Sunday roast and WOW, we were not disappointed! I always find that when you go to a restaurant for a Sunday roast, it never lives up to your expectations. But our meal at Annie’s was absolutely breathtaking! We WILL be back (weekly!) Thank you team Annie’s!

By far the best burgers, breakfast, food, service, atmosphere in the southern Chiswick area. Fantastic every time. Liam and staff do a very professional and relaxed job. We love coming here. Especially before 7pm for half price cocktails.

Came here for dinner Feb 2023. Food was great, particularly enjoyed lamb main although all dishes were strong. Cocktails also good, particularly the salted caramel dessert cocktail which was amazing . Service was friendly and vibe/decor is nice and cosy. Reasonably priced for area and overall worth a visit.

Absolutely love this gem of a spot! I went there last weekend and had a birthday brunch. The staff were lovely and attentive, the food was fabulous and the coffee even better. I even got given a free bellini as it was my birthday :) We had eggs royale and pancakes which were generous portions. Will definitely recommend and come back.

Had a great experience at this gorgeous restaurant. The food was delicious and the service was great. I would definitely recommend visiting. Plus it’s in a beautiful location in Chiswick with the Thames nearby.

I found this place on Google Maps as I was looking for somewhere to eat close to Jct 2 of the M4 before a night in an airport hotel. Place is quint and the staff are attentive without being bothersome. I had a very nice plate of bread and olives whilst I decided on what to order from the menu. Salt and pepper squid was well cooked, the squid was fresh and not in anyway chewy. The main with chicken milanese with a tagliatelle arrabbiata. The batter was light and crispy on the chicken and the arrabbiata had a good hit of chili. Despite the generous portions I was tempted by the desert menu and opted for a rum baba. The barber was very light and not at all stodgy. The source to was excellent and not too sweet. I was so happy with the food and the service that I've already booked a table for the night before my next trip. Recommended. Three courses, coffee and a large glass of wine came to £54 including tip.

Went there for valentines with the wife, food was amazing, really delicious had the scallops and prawn gratin served in shells really cool idea. Also the lamb rump was beautifully cooked. Overall really happy look forward to going here again. My wife was in love with decor of the restaurant, really cosy and intimate, lovely candle lit dinner.

What an underrated place! They have the most amazing toffee pudding I’ve had so far. Twice I’ve been here, twice they’ve surpassed my expectations, from starters, mains to desserts. Highly recommended, you will not be disappointed.

What a hidden gem! 💎 The sun was shining and, after a walk by the river, we sit down for a delicious meal with some good drinks. Very good portion too. Can't wait to go back.

Been several times. Big space, great atmosphere, very accommodating for people who just want a work space that isn't a cramped coffee shop. Menu's nicely varied, but the homemade burger's the star of the show. Would recommend.

This is a go to for special occasions, because it’s just a lovely location with lots of tasty dishes (not too expensive) and fantastic service. Full of locals who appreciate the vibe of this beautiful little restaurant. Last night (Thursday) was packed, inside and out! Thank you for the generous hospitality shown yesterday, my friend who was being celebrated truly enjoyed the evening too.

Annie’s is honestly the heart and soul of Strand on the Green. We’ve been coming here for over 23 years and just couldn’t imagine the area without it. The food’s always amazing, the cocktails are delicious, and Daisy and the team look after everyone so well. A proper local gem – whether it’s Breakfast, lunch or dinner Annie’s! Is a definite go to!

This place is more than just a restaurant — the staff feel like family! Delicious food, a cosy “home from home” vibe, and 25 years of serving our community with love. They’re feeling the pinch like many independents, so if you haven’t been lately, go show them some support — they truly deserve it! 💛

Well what a delightful meal we had today in Annie's. We had our first date here 18 years ago and loved it then and come back today and it was better than ever. From booking over the phone to arrival the customer service was outstanding and so friendly and warm. The cocktails and wine were perfect and the roast dinner was the very best I've eaten out. We will be back now lots lots more. Thank you for the most wonderful afternoon and a special thank you to the wonderful Kayleigh our waitress who served us so well and the Scottish man who I didn't get his name. Thank you for making our day extra special. It meant a lot.

We loved our experience at Annie’s for dinner. It was a Saturday night and the restaurant was full which created a lovely vibe. We were seated upstairs which was fab. The waiters were really attentive and kind and the cocktails were a particular stand out, they were delicious! We will definitely be returning in the near future and would highly recommend Annie’s!

I first found Annie's a few years ago and it's one of my all time favourites. Good for a quick bite, a catch up or a special occasion - we've celebrated multiple bday dinners there. The food is consistently great, the staff are lovely and the ambience is quirky and welcoming

It’s a good place with a great atmosphere and polite and attentive staff. Breakfast-wise, the eggs Benedict were a bit far from the best ones I’ve tried: the muffin had less subtle taste than I would love, the egg white was not cooked in some parts of the eggs, and the Hollandaise sauce had a bit of a mushroom taste. The cappuccino was rather hot and also came with cinnamon. Overall the place is nice to come to, but when I’m looking for great breakfast options I’d select another one next time

Had a Sunday roast there. Surprised that there was no paper menu for the roast, and no beef (we came at 12PM, so it wasn't like they ran out). Also, I prefer my gravy on the side.

Annie’s is a neighbourhood spot in West London. We came here for dinner with a few friends. The inside is really comfortable and cosy. The food was good as well. Creamy risotto, meaty pork and well cooked fish. We also had the sticky toffee and chocolate desserts - both rich and delicious. Staff were friendly but the wait for food was really long.

The cocktails were delicious! I would highly recommend the Annie's Blush Royale🥂🌹 The portion sizes were very generous! The food was so tasty, the truffle camembert tasted so dreamy 😍 The turkey wellington is a must try too! The turkey was so tender and was served with tasty sides. I loved the vintage decor and cosy atmosphere. 💕 ⭐The service was great! The staff were friendly and attentive🥰 ⭐Would highly recommend visiting this restaurant ⭐

We love this place for Sunday lunch. They make the best spicy Bloody Mary which not only tastes fantastic but looks great too!

Breakfast ends at 12PM (including weekends) so if you're after a late brunch, don't get caught out! Lovely to walk along the river and get a bite to eat. Good food, good service. Quaint interior that makes it quite unique.

Lovely cute pub with great cosy interior. Food is nice and comes with fresh vegetables, we had shepherds pie, it wasn’t the best I have ever had but it was definitely tasty. I am not a local of the area and it’s in a busy area to get to, if you’re around here then a great place to visit. It can also be a cute date spot.

J

Quaint little place seemingly tucked away near the river. Interior decor is delightful, with an eclectic mix making for a warm place to relax. Food used good ingredients and honestly not much to fault. Bread / toast was a little more hole'y then personally prefered but that's not a compliant. Service was pleasant and never pushed which is nice for a Sunday morning. Recommend place, for an easy breezy Sunday brunch. (Or any other day)

Great place for breakfast menu. I haven't tried other menus. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Prefer rhe upstairs seating.

Having always been a fan, we had not been for a while and found it very disappointing. We ordered starters and were mid way through these when our mains arrived. That’s just lack of attention - especially as not enough room on the table. When the mains arrived the green beans were soft and mushy and the chicken escalope was cremated. We did flag these and were not charged for the bean and also not charged for an espresso. But for somewhere that previously was such great reliable quality it was really disappointing.

Greeted warmly by Mia! Very friendly and welcoming lady she was, the Glaswegian waiter.. didn’t get his name, he was also friendly too! The decor of the place was really homely and I felt like I was visiting an aunt. The reason why this place is not a 5/5 is because : 1) Took a very long time for us to get our drinks (we also noticed a table behind us had got their food before their drinks!) all we ordered was 2 Bloody Marys.. but there you go! 2) The roast lamb could have been hotter. 3) on their desert menu it specified crumble with custard.. however was served crumble with cream? Overall, it was a good experience.. however if the points above are taken care of then I think it would go from a “good” to a great!

During our Sunday lunch reservation, the manager greeted? us with an odd vibe, scanning us up and down and making us feel unwelcome. We had the Sunday roast, but the food wasn’t impressive enough to make us want to return. Overall, it felt overrated and overpriced.

I’ve always been a big fan of Annie’s, but felt compelled to write a review today as the food over a significant period of time has gone rapidly downhill. Today’s lunch, was not a one off disappointment of average meals, but one of many that we’ve had over the last couple of years. The pork we ordered was tough and fatty, and the fish pie was dry, resembling fish cooked under mash potato without a proper sauce. We’ve gone back many times over the last couple of years, thinking that it would be like Annie’s of old, but sadly I won’t bother anymore. On a positive note, the staff are always helpful and polite.
