Genuine Indian food, as always and some of the best I have ever had. These guys catered for my wedding some years ago and they have just got better and better. Can't recommend them enough.
We dine at Madhus every few weeks, and it’s always great atmosphere, wonderful customer service & delicious food. The staff are attentive, and you are looked almost immediately after you are seated. I would highly recommend this place if you like to eat good quality indian food.
We visited on a Sunday evening with three family members. We were seated promptly, and our starters and drinks were served quickly, giving us time to decide on our mains. We enjoyed the aloo papdi chaat, mixed grill platter, chicken samosa, starters, all tasty and well-prepared. For mains, we had lamb shank, chicken biryani, and makhni dal with paratha, all in generous portions. The spice levels on the mains were mild as requested. My only slight critique was that the lamb shank was served without the bone, only a small bone was present in the curry, which was not what I expected. Dessert, comprising masala tea and gajjar halwa, rounded off the meal nicely. Service was good and the restaurant was about 50% full. We would go again.
All the staff were so friendly and went out of their way for everyone in my party. It was my friend's birthday and they brought her out a little birthday cheesecake. It was brilliant. The food was fantastic too. The chilli paneer was amazing 👌🏼 Thank you!
Madhu’s Heathrow serves seriously tasty Indian food and caters well to vegetarians. Starters like the aloo tikki and samosas are spicy and delicious, and their paneer dishes are outstanding—packed with flavor and cooked to perfection. The main course is just as brilliant, with the dal makhani being a standout. Great flavors all around, highly recommend.
Madhus at Sheraton Heathrow: A Truly Exceptional Dining Experience! Our recent visit to Madhus at the Sheraton Heathrow Hotel was absolutely incredible from start to finish. The food was simply outstanding, offering authentic flavors and expert preparation that truly impressed. Beyond the delicious cuisine, the service was perfect. Every staff member was attentive, and our waiter, Caetano, provided impeccable service that made the evening even more special. Madhus is a culinary gem near Heathrow airport, delivering a five-star experience that I highly recommend.
Amazing food and service , we had a complementary panipuri . The waiter give us really good suggestions. It was really good . Thank you Caetano .
Great place to enjoy dinner with friends and family. Naan were the best , palak chat is awesome. Methi chicken is good, salt lassi is good too. Samosa was ok, service is very good.
Lovely restaurant within a stone throw away from Heathrow airport. We attended as part of the BCA event. The venue was very spacious, beautiful decor and within the Sheraton hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It was lovely to meet the owner of Madhu at the event. Starters were lovely, fresh and tasty. The staff brought out food in a professional manner and always available for refills of drinks and starters. The main course was again lovely in taste, fresh and hot and there was plenty of refills. We had khulfi ice cream with halwa desert to top off a lovely afternoon of speeches, awards, songs and friendship. Just outside the restaurant area is an indoor pool area with a tropical feel to it as though you are in another country lovely place. Look forward to visiting Madhu again soon with family.
Our experience was from start to finish, absolutely wonderful. We were staying down the street at the Renaissance and happened to discover this gem on google! From the moment we walked into the restaurant, the atmosphere and the friendly staff set the stage for what was a wonderful evening. The open kitchen was an incredible touch as well. Our waiter, Peter, was also beyond compare! He gave us honest, personal feedback throughout our dining experience that really meant the world to us! The food was delicious and spiced to perfection! With Peter's expert guidance we had just the right amount and walked away raving about of meal! We will definitely be returning on our next Heathrow overnight!
Madhus Heathrow is a delightful dining experience that truly excels in every aspect. The food was exceptional, with the Lamb Nihari standing out as a highlight. The drink selection was also top-notch, complementing the meal perfectly. The atmosphere was inviting and added to the overall enjoyment of the evening. Madhus Heathrow is a must-visit for anyone seeking a memorable dining experience.
We ended our trip to Europe at Madhu's for dinner. The staff were very friendly and helpful, guiding us in ordering. We had an excellent and memorable dinner.
Given that my dear brother and colleague Vinay Kumar is leaving the UK to go back to his family in India, I didn’t hesitate in suggesting MADHU’S Heathrow. I’d been there before a few years back and had a good experience. With Vinay and two other friends Joey Ocansey and Gunjan Kumar, as part of our group we headed inside where we met the lovely Mina. Mina had a quiet presence throughout our dinner and her service was impeccable yet not overly attentive, she kept an eye on our needs. I went in having already decided that I wanted a Thaali - Thali or Bhojanam is a round platter used to serve food in South Asia, Southeast Asia and the Caribbean. Thali is also used to refer to an Indian-style meal made up of a selection of various dishes which are served on a platter. However when we studied the menu which John our host explained in detail, we realised that the three course menu for £40 each includes canapés, 4 starters, 4 mains and deserts we all thought that was amazing value. I thought it would be one dish from each section starter, main and dessert, but it’s all of it! Might need to make that clearer on the menu. Prior to our starters we were served some very mini popadoms with chutneys. These were tasty albeit a tiny bit on the stale side - I don’t think that this is a reflection on the kitchen team but I do think that the storage of these needs to be reviewed to ensure they retain their crispness. For the remainder of the meal, I can only say that we ate like blessed kings. Starters: -Fillets of Scottish Salmon in a dill and spice marinade, Served in a banana leaf wrapper. -Murgh Tikka Traditionally spiced and marinated chicken. -Robata Lamb Chop New Zealand lamb chops, marinated in ginger and mild spices. -Palak Patta British marsh samphire and baby spinach leaves, marinated with chilli, turmeric and fresh coriander. Crisp fried in a chickpea flour coat and served drizzled with yoghurt and chutneys. Main Courses: -Murg Makhni Tandoori chicken tikka, simmered in a velvety cream tomato sauce, flavoured with fenugreek. -Nalli Gosht British lamb shank dices on the bone, slowly braised with a multitude of spices. A rich velvety curry with a distinctive taste of bone marrow. -Saag Paneer Indian cottage cheese cubes cooked with mustard leaves, spinach leaves and spices. -Tadka Dal -Tempered yellow lentils with roasted cumin, garlic and fresh coriander. Accompaniments -Pomegranate Raita, Muttar Pillau, Selection of Breads All meat at all MADHU’S restaurants is halal. Dessert was gulab jaman, kulfi ice cream and gajjar ka halwa - these were beautiful and classics from the instant subcontinent, you could go wrong with these on your menu but il still left thinking why I expected a more innovative and different dessert - probably because MADHU’S Heathrow set a very high bar with the starters and mains. For my favourites, I must call out the beautifully simple dhal just like my mum made and the amazing robata grilled meats (lamb chops and chicken) utter perfection - I could be happiest just eating those alone. Now think, all of the above for £40 each plus a £6 supplement for prawns. That’s amazing value in a very nice setting!! Now I have to say that the food here at MADHU’S Heathrow was for me better than at MADHU’S Southall, as it should be really. I can’t score this meal any lower than a 10/10 because of its amazing value. The restaurant will validate your car registration number for free parking within the hotel car park and therefore the experience is very easy and comfortable. I think Salim, John, Mina and the run a very smooth operation in what is essential a very large restaurant. Tables are nicely spread apart and the ambience allows you to talk, be free and merry or have a quiet intimate dinner. Well done once again to Sanjay and the MADHU’S team - God willing my MADHU’S adventure will continue - big decision pending for me - MADHU’S Mayfair or at The Grove Tata Consultancy Services Feed the Lion - Halal Food News The Best Halal
An excellent experience food Was great and Service was to. My server was Peter, who was very attentive and friendly.
If you’re looking for an authentic yet sophisticated Indian dining experience in London, this is it. We tried the Royal Set Menu and it did not disappoint 😍Paired with a glass of champagne, it was the perfect experience🥂 Celebrating 45 years of heritage, Madhu’s perfectly blends unique Indo-Kenyan roots with authentic North Indian flavours. We tried both the vegetarian and non-vegetarian set menus to get the full experience, and it was incredible! The Malai Broccoli, Aloo Tikki, and Makhani Dal were easily the standouts for me. The atmosphere is sophisticated yet cosy, making it the perfect spot for a special occasion. A special shoutout to Jignesh, his attentive service truly made the evening
Overall, I'm very impressed with the food served. I had the lamb chops, garlic naan, and samosas. Definitely need to come back and eat here the next time I come to the UK. The atmosphere as ok, considering that I arrived for dinner at 5pm.
A wonderful place to have Indian food! We had been recommended by an Indian friend who lives in London to eat here. The service was amazing! So considerate and attentive! They open the door for you, they pull your seat out for you. As professional as can be. The food was delicious! The perfect samosas. They also brought out rice crisps and chutney dips to enjoy before your meal. We both ordered the prawn curry. It was delicious. They keep it warm on a candle. Very nice touch that I’d never seen before. We were one of the only people in the restaurant at 9:30pm, so it was quiet. I don’t know about how it is when the restaurant is full. The service was wonderful though. They also gave us warm, disposable towels after our meal that smelled like lemongrass! They were a nice touch. We really enjoyed eating here. We will definitely return the next we’re in London.
We had a wonderful experience at Madhu's. The food was excellent, full of flavour and beautifully prepared. A special mention to Caetano, whose exceptional service was warm, attentive, and made the evening feel extra special. Highly recommended and would happily return.
Food was spot on especially the mock chicken (vegeterian), the service by our waitress Neha was brilliant she was very helpful and attentive whilst keeping super proffesional. The ambience and music was also great I definitely would recommend for a good meal.
Neha was very lovely and accommodating for my dietary requirements being gluten and dairy free. Food was delicious as always, highly recommend!
As weird as it sounds this food is actually amazing, if you order one of the sets there's a ton of different flavors. I absolutely recommend 👌
John was great with recommendations, samriti was very pleasant and provided great service. The lamb chops were succulent and cooked perfectly. The mango chutney is amazing definitely ask for seconds
Great Indian fare. Super friendly and efficient staff. The food is superb, especially the starters. Ask for mild of you can’t take the heat. Regan and Vinod are superb hosts and nothing is too much. Free parking which is easy to register. Convenient and great food.
Excellent food as expected from the recommendation we had. The service from the moment we walked in to being looked after by Caetano with suggestions was fantastic! Cannot recommend this place enough
The food and atmosphere were excellent. Caetano went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and we did not feel rushed or want for anything
Wow! Hidden gem. We just had one of the best Indian dinners we’ve ever had at this Sheraton next to Heathrow. Didn’t get a chance to take pictures. Everything was amazing but the lentils were exceptional. We will definitely be back next time we are in the country and anywhere near Heathrow. Staff was excellent as well
Thank you, John, for your wonderful hospitality. You are truly a gem for the Madhus. The way you served us and took care of everything made a big difference for our family. We genuinely felt welcomed and cared for. Our family truly loves you, and we will definitely come again John and Madhus team.
Great food and lovely atmosphere. Just wish the separate room would not be used as a bussing station. The chilli paneer was lovely and so was the signature fake chicken.
The food authentic Indian food. It is definitely a go to place for me from on. The was friendly, starting from the host to service. Caetano was really good with his service. Youssra was a good host as well.
Located inside the Sheraton Skyline Hotel. Never had a bad meal here except for the scallops once a few years ago. (Way overcooked) But they made it right and could not have been more apologetic. Plenty of choices for vegetarians too. Full bar. Great desserts. Highly recommended.
We had a wonderful dining experience. The food was beautifully prepared and the atmosphere was great. Special mention to John and the entire team for their exceptional service and very attentive, polite, and professional throughout the visit. Truly impressive hospitality.
I don't usually write reviews but this time I feel I have to. The staff and manager went above and beyond to give me the best experience since we were celebrating a special occasion. The food was absolutely perfect and I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone.
Just dined at Madhu’s Heathrow Sheraton hotel and it was great as always, The food was exceptional – flavourful, perfectly made and the quality was very high. The service matched the quality, being truly outstanding throughout. A massive shoutout to our server Caetano, who was attentive, professional, friendly, and went above and beyond to make our meal memorable. 10/10 will be back again soon
The food was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!!! We went for the Royal Dinner and every single dish we had was perfection! Bursting with flavours and aromas my tastebuds were having a field day honestly! I would highly recommend Madhu’s Heathrow, the staff were so helpful and made us feel welcomed and well looked after. Thank you Madhu’s Heathrow for a truly wonderful experience!
Everything was perfect to celebrate my father’s birthday. I had asked for some adjustments to help look after my sons who are on the Autistic spectrum. The restaurant was so helpful and am really grateful, it made the occasion so enjoyable for me and the family.…. And of course the food was excellent Thank u for a great time
We had our Valentine’s dinner here and everything was amazing! The food was so satisfying and absolutely worth the price. I also want to give a big thank you to the hostess (I didn’t catch her name) she was so sweet and checked on us often, which we really appreciated. Our waiter was just as kind and attentive. Overall, we had a wonderful evening and will definitely be coming back!
A evening family birthday celebration. Booking was very easy. Restaurant was half full and got noisy as evening progressed. Drinks are pricey but worth it. We ordered a mixture starters, mains and thalis with minor changes. All were accommodated. While we were waiting we munched on 4 varities of papadums and 4 pickles. Drinks and food arrived after a short while. All was very well presented and tasted wonderful. No space for desserts. Service was excellent throughout. A wonderful experience.
Dinner for a girly catch up on 24/11. Delicious food with deep flavours that absolutely delight the palate. There's so much that we could have ordered as the entire menu just screamed EAT ME, EAT ME!!!! Worth every penny! We had the Thali dishes and some chaat. Portions are more than enough for 1 person and just enough so that you're not uncomfortably full. We would definitely go again. The only downside was that the hot drink machine wasn't working so some of our group couldn't have their first choice of hot drink, so settled for freshly made peppermint tea, which was so delightful and a touching replacement. The staff we encountered were all genuinely lovely, warm and friendly.
Thalis are a nice option but pricey for what you get. Food overall was to a good standard however they do not have enough staff to cover the large restaurant
We recently had the pleasure of dining at Madhu’s. The taste and flavour of the food were simply outstanding. We ordered papdi chaat, Mixed platter, murg makhni and Nihari. One thing disappointed us was the Golgappe otherwise I would have given it 5 star.
I've had good experience in the past with Madhu's, but on this occasion it wasn't as good. Some dishes were not very good, eg the okra dish was a bit overcooked, the king prawn coconut curry was a bit watery. The staff were nice enough but we kept having to ask them to fill up our glasses with water, and I wish they would be more proactive. I don't think they like leaving a jug of water at the table as we asked them previously and they didn't do it. It was a bit overpriced for the portions and I would expect really good quality food but it wasn't on this occasion which was a bit disappointing. The starters were good though.
It was okay actually. Decent evening with friends and family, free parking and pretty 🤩 A.W.E.S.O.M.E vibe. The food is a hit and miss. The non vegetarian curries were great but the vegetarian crowd was disappointed.
We had a wonderful meal and our waiter Caetano was most attentive. The flavours were just right. The only reason why the restaurant dropped one star was a personal preference for large poppadoms instead of tiny little ones, but that’s purely a personal preference.
We had a very pleasant dining experience at Madhu’s at the Sheraton. Every member of staff we interacted with was positive, helpful, and polite — from assisting with parking validation to taking our food order. The venue itself has a well-designed layout and a warm, inviting atmosphere, and the fact that most tables were occupied added to the overall appeal. The starters were excellent and definitely stood out; however, the main course didn’t quite match the same standard. In particular, the Dal Makhani was a little bland for our taste. Overall, it was an enjoyable visit with great service and ambience.
Have been to the one in southall years ago and had High expectations. Went for the degustation menu as this had the signature dishes. The service to start was good. Attentiveness as you would expect in a good restaurant. Over the course of the evening and our meal this quickly disintegrated to the point we had to wait about 15 minutes just for a glass of water. The staff was overwhelmed with the never ending conveyor belt of diners pouring in through the door. There was not a seat left. It quickly became very noisy and crowded. Food.presentaion was good. Food flavouring was subtle and nice but lacking in other dishes. Off the starters we tried I would reccomend the palace patta chaat and chilli paneer. I must say however that was expecting the samphire in the chaat but it looked like savoy cabbage to me. None the less it tasted great. The canapés weren't that great. You had a gol guppy that tasted like it had petit filous in it and a small kachori that was the size of a cadburys mini egg. The Murphy tikka had a lovely char flavour from the charcoal but was lacking in flavour. The rotatable chop was an amazing cut of.meat, very tender and probably the best chop I had in ages but again was lacking in flavour as was the Sikh kebab. Must mention. That it was 1 chop each,1 Seekh kebab cut in half each and 2 chicken thighs each too. So portion sizes are not huge. 3 chutneys were really good. Onto mains which were okay. Butter chicken was not bad. The national gosht was nice and again her the quilts of meat was good. All on the bone. The best dish here was the rice with peas. Out of everything the humblest of things really stood out and it was this. Palak.paneer was okay. Again slightly flavourless. The desserts was underwhelming. The amount if times I have had the same dessert in so many restaraunts for years. Thought it would be something more innovative and exciting or different. 'Chefs selection of desserts was a extra gulab jamun in comparison to what you would get on the royal set menu. The decor was good and it was a nice restaurant. Unfortunately I would not come here again. So many corporate clients and I have a feeling its always like this especially when it's going to be located on the ground floor of a busy heathrow hotel. Good effort. Thankyou.
We were a large party of 10 and we were all seated together comfortably. The mixed grill was nicely cooked but was very spicy be warned - perhaps too spicy. The pani puri wasn't great and tasted slightly stale. The main courses were better, especially the lamb which was very tender and a good portion. Service was ok but not very attentive - had to follow up on the odd drinks orders. Overall food was average but for us slightly over priced but convenient if you are staying at the hotel
Amazing venue very pleasant atmosphere and cozy.. food was ok wont say up to the mark .. palak chat , mango lassi , pink guava , dal tadka was amazing .. rest platter and chicken was ok
I am highly disappointed with the food I took as take away from Madhu's Heathrow. We ordered Khari Paneer, which was not at all good. The gravey was watery and was not kharai Paneer gravey. Poor garnishing for Murg Tandoori and hot food were served in a plastic container, which can cause severe health problems. It was more ordering from a local takeaway than Madhu's. For the price I paid, it was a bad experience.
I want to start by saying the decor and aesthetics looked promising at the hotel. Once we reached the restaurant, it looked like a bog standard run of the mill Hounslow curry house that would serve substandard stuff or a random curry house on the edge of Birmingham. It felt pretty cold and run down. This vibe was similarly caught once we reached the front of house staff member who was a lady. She walked us to a table - the noise levels were quite high so we asked if we could sit in another zone before being fully seat but it was closed off. So fair enough - no complaints there. But the problem was the way she told us after the zone was closed - Sit down sir thanks in a bossy manner instead of giving us an alternative. The whole vibe was just off about the place and didn't want to order anymore in case we regretted. After that interaction, we made a bee-line for the door and left. We tried the Italian place at Radisson which was heaps better experience. The difference was they showed genuine care and love in their service compared to this place. They were so attentive. Nothing like this place would do. Change front of house staff for starters.
Below average food and below average service. 1. The garlic naan we ordered was crumbly. Seemed like the dough must have been stale or it was served from a frozen naan packet. 2. The tadka dal we ordered seemed stale and didn't have a fresh tadka on it. 3. The bhindi masala was just ok. 3. There were 2 glasses on the table for water but the waiter didn't bother to give us any water or ask us for it. 4. After we were done eating we had to wait another half an hour to get our bill. 5.The price is expensive as compared to food quality.
