Thank you Johnny for the wonderful service - friendly, helpful recommendations, and kindness overall! Delicious meal! We’re leaving happy and so full!! We’ll be back!!!
The food at Cedar is so tasty and fresh. The service provided by Johnny was second to none. Highly recommend!
Dining at The Cedar was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I walked in, the warm, welcoming atmosphere set the tone for what turned out to be a pleasant experience. The Warrak Enab—vine leaves delicately wrapped and bursting with flavour, perfectly balanced with a hint of citrus and spice. The Kibbeh Lahmeh was another standout: crispy on the outside, tender and savoury within, showcasing perfect seasoning and texture. The velvety Hommus and fresh, pillowy bread was a perfect pair. Service was attentive and genuinely friendly. Whether you're a longtime lover of Lebanese cuisine or trying it for the first time, The Cedar offers an authentic, soul-satisfying experience. I’ll definitely be returning on my next trip to England!
An absolute gem of a Lebanese restaurant — we feasted like royalty for just £68 between five, and every bite was unforgettable. The falafel was feather-light with a fierce crunch, perfectly balanced and utterly addictive. The octopus was a showstopper: sumptuous, tender, and spiced to perfection. Flavours danced, service shone — we’ll be dreaming of this meal for weeks.
Delicious the Makali wrap! Great service and value for money. Would love to come back and try so many more tasty-sounding dishes.
Always the best meal and excellent service. The staff even gave us this delicious fresh orange and carrot juice on the house. A meal that never disappoints!!
I come here often. But it is a hit and miss. Today the food was too salty. I ordered some potatoes, kibeh and soujuk. The soujuk and potatoes were salty. But when I complained the waiter deduced from the tap. That is customer in first place. 5 stars for that kind of treatment.
Came here this evening for dinner for 1. The lamb wrap my heavens absolutely delicious. Don't think you need a side - it's a generous portion. Service was classy 👌 and genuine. Thank you.
It is delicious and the staff they are brilliant , polite , compassionate and professional . Thank you very much much . The atmosphere is very pleasant as well . Definitely , I recommend this place . I thank my client who recommended this place . Every one should try it . 🙏🏿❤️
Absolutely delicious food and a lovely ambiance. The service was swift and efficient and the staff were friendly and welcoming. I thoroughly recommend The Cedar.
A lovely little gem of a Lebanese restaurant in West Hampstead. I went with my mother-in-law last night and we had such a relaxed and enjoyable evening that we ended up staying for over four hours. The atmosphere was calm, welcoming, and authentic. The waitress was attentive and patient while helping us with the menu and the manager was friendly and engaging. The food was absolutely delicious! We started with houmous and falafel, then shared octopus, a cod dish, and beans in tomato sauce. The portions were so generous that we had enough to take home for lunch the next day — and we didn’t even order a main! Everything was full of flavour. Compliments to the chef. It was also my first time trying Lebanese wine and it was delicious. Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and will definitely be back.
23dec25.tuesday 4 of us went out for lunch. A few choices of restaurants to decide around West End lane. Finally decided the Cedar Restaurant which i have not try. Some recommend This restaurant. We have order a few small dishes to try. Humus 1 original & 1 chilli. 1green salad, 2 chicken & vegetables soups.a few deep fried cheeze spring rolls, prawn dishes , chilli otopus, pumpkin with filling, unlimited pita bread. Etc. All tge dishes are delicious.
Absolutely outstanding experience from start to finish. The food was beautifully presented and packed with flavour — every dish felt thoughtfully crafted. The service was attentive without being intrusive, and the staff were genuinely warm and knowledgeable about the menu. The atmosphere struck the perfect balance between elegant and relaxed. Easily one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in London, and I will definitely be returning.
Ive been coming here for for a while with my family and friends. Its my go to local Lebanese spot. The food is always really good, their lamb shish is definitely one of the best I've had in London. The portions are great, prices reasonable and the staff are always so friendly and so kind. Have also been to some events theyve hosted which were fun. Highly recommended
I just ordered the most delicious authentic Shish Tawook and Shangklish . Cedar Restaurant West Hampstead needs to be put on pedestal as the food was just perfect. Big thank you 🙏🏽 goes out to 👨🍳The Chef as the food was kteer Tayyebine 😊 Over the phone I could hear that atmosphere was five star even though received the order through deliveroo . Look forward to the next time. Mercie
The food here is wonderful. We were in London for a number of days so we went back for a second time. We had not eaten this cuisine before but the staff kindly helped us put together a great variety to try. All so delicious. And they just kept bringing warm bread from the oven for free. In fact, the value for money was outstanding - a meal for 4 cost £74 including drinks. Also, the staff are friendly and attentive. Do give this place a try, you won’t be disappointed
Loved the food, everything we ordered was super tasty and we did not have to wait long despite the place being packed full. We were walking past it and decided to try it, went in to see it full but the staff did their best and got us a seat with a very short wait, despite us not having a reservation. Interiors are very nice and music wasn't too loud. There is a bar also with a decent choice. We went for only veggie items and everything was so tasty that we finished it all despite being full halfway through. The portion sizes are not small, so maybe our suggestion would be to avoid ordering too much in one go, order in steps since the food comes quite quickly. Would definitely recommend if you are nearby and in mood for some tasty Mediterranean-type food.
It was delicious and good service ❤️❤️
The food is sooo tasty, we got lots of mezze and everything was delicious. Great selection for vegetarians, I recommend the hummus beiruti, batata harra & mousakaat batenjan (tomatoey aubergine and chickpea dish) - these were all incredible, the hummus & batata harra are the best I’ve ever tasted in London! Also they serve free bread with the mezze which was also very tasty
Excellent restaurant, delicious food. Came in after wandering in the area and so glad we did. Great prices and good portions, took leftovers home. Lovely staff and quick service
We had a great dinner, delicious food and service!
Very courteous service, delicious food with generous servings, and an unbeatable price in London for this quality. Absolutely recommended!
Popped in while staying in London for a light dinner. The waitering staff were helpful despite being very busy. The food was beautiful and tasty. Excellent value for money. The mint tea is lovely too.
A great Lebanese joint near West Hampstead: nothing fancy but they serve decent traditional food. We tried their lentils soup, fattoush salad, kofta and a vegetable medley. The portions are pretty large and their service was pretty fast for Saturday night.
The food was very delicious. We enjoyed our time at the restaurant. Thank you, greetings from the belgians.
Really enjoyed my shock talk and French martini. Great atmosphere and the restaurant was full midweek. Would come again
So good food, tasty 😋 delicious always fresh highly recommend.
Our favourite lockdown take away! We always order the halloumi kallaj hot mezze, a mixed shwarma which is absolutely delicious, a couple of portions of hummus as we like to have some for the next day and some bread. There is always a box of pickles and olives on the side and a few small pieces of baklava added for free which I absolutely love. We have ordered many times and never been disappointed.
Great food and good server with welcoming atmosphere- we got the happy hour offer even though we were there 2h before it
I can't tell you enough how much I love this place. Everything on the menu is very, very close to perfect, their portions are generous, and they cook from fresh and high-quality ingredients. I couldn't even attach a picture of the mains, we enjoyed our food so much that there was no time to stop and snap a picture. (My partner regularly asks whether I'd like to have date night here - and he doesn't even like Lebanese food!) I know it probably sounds a little too good to be true but I genuinely can't recommend them enough. Whether you eat in or order from a delivery service, their food's above and beyond amazing.
One of good Lebanese Restaurants around here as I m vegetarian and they given me so many options adding few photos 😊👌🏼😋
Hearty meal served in huge portions. Both cold and hot mezzes were so good, shishs have been good-perfect so far. On top of that they maintian to keep reasonable prices and pretty fast service. Also, open till late night, which is another bonus. Recommended.
The food at Cedar never disappoints. The Humous and batata harra were outstanding as were the Kibbeh, Kofta and chicken shawarma. Highly recommended!
The best Lebanese Restaurant in London. It never fails to impress. Great food and value. Highly recommend it.
One of Londons best Lebanese, authentic down to the essence you can tell. So happy we tried here! Highly recommend the chocolate tart to finish too - super rich
Delicious food and generous portions! Great service: friendly and welcoming. We ordered smoked grilled aubergine (Batinjan el Rahib) to start and for main course we had a mixed grill to share between two people accompanied by a Greek salad. There was a very nice atmosphere even though it was fairly early when we arrived. All in all a lovely midweek dinner.
The most delicious food! The BEST cocktails at genuinely amazing prices (even better if you come at happy hour). Brilliant service and I cannot oversell the food.
Amazing experience; the food and drinks were superb! Lovely ambience and a special evening out! The octopus was like butter and everything was sublime.
Great restaurant, the staff is exceptionally kind. The food is delicious and the portions are big with unlimited pita bread!
Greeted with a very welcoming smile and a fabulous meal. The whole experience was wonderful from start to finish. The food was incredible, highly recommend
this place is great. great value for the area, incredible lamb chops better than steaks twice the price in this area. top notch moutabal and tabouleh salad. only criticism maybe cheer up staff a bit, a bit too matcho and unfriendly. pitta bread was premade and reheated could be fresher and tastier but still tasted good. go and try it it though, no regrets
It was one of the best meals I've had in London. Drinks were good flavors and not overpowering. Hummus had the right of spice, Greek salad, and chicken shawarma, all incredible flavoring. Their baklawa was the perfect finish to complete the meal. If around, I definitely recommend stopping in for a fantastic meal.
Food is really good and the portions. Service is usually good too but expect to wait a while to order food if it is busy, even if you are already seated. However, if you arrive at a time that is not so busy. The service is usually great. The staff are friendly. Overall, it's one of the go to places for me. Would recommend.
Very poor, tiny portion sizes with flavourless Shawarma. They served me a shallot onion with the skin still on, which sums up the level of care!
We have had starter houmus which was really weird taste, more like sour for some reason, we asked to waiter about it and he confirmed that was the normal taste! Then we ordered chicken shawarma and shish chicken with rice and chips! Rice was warmed up in microwave, chips ok, my chicken wasn’t fresh as it was more like crumbles, shish was bland no taste! I won’t recommend this place at all! Ohhh and we had atbtgen end then sweet pastry on the house which was really old as well! I have been in many lebanese resto but this one is not what I call a lebenese!😂😂😂🙈
