Mr Steak Hammersmith

We had the £39 three-course set, and everything exceeded our expectations! The appetiser was perfectly balanced, the rib eye was tender and juicy ✨, and the chocolate cake was the highlight of the night 🧡. It’s not a fancy, overly delicate dining experience, but it’s comforting, satisfying, and definitely something we’d love to come back for again.

Incredible steak! The medium-rare rib eye was cooked perfectly and tasted amazing with the rich mushroom sauce. The sides were great, especially the mashed potato. I was served by Rosario, who was fantastic and the atmosphere was spot on. It's a fantastic spot for a special meal. Highly recommend booking. Will definitely be returning!

An incredible restaurant with a unique atmosphere. The ribey melted in my mouth, perfectly cooked. Fries crispy and fried to perfection. The service personal and done with a flair for showmanship

This place is unexpected for its location. Full of drama and theatre. This is not your usual steak place. Quality of the foood was exceptional. Was taken aback a bit by all the quirks as part of the experiance (i just walked in before a gig) but it eas so much fun!

I visited with my wife and the food, atmosphere, and especially the service were all amazing. It was the best steak I ever had and I will be back for sure :D

Dined here by myself tonight after hearing rave reviews from my peers and the food did not disappoint! Truth be told, I was a bit skeptical when they did the dry ice theatrics (oh no not another Salt Bae) but the quality of the meat was sublime - perfectly grilled and seasoned. Added £7 for 2 Argentinian Prawns and the flavour of the tomalley (brain juice) is as intense as they can be. Chimichurri sauce was the highlight of the meal - very peppery and authentic, accompanying the steak very well. Thoroughly enjoyed the dinner and I must bring my wife here soon.

Rosario steak was soft and very flavourful. Staff friendly and great atmosphere, cocktails and wine .Highly recommend.

The food here was really great & halal, and the service was amazing! Would highly recommend any of the steaks and they are cooked beautifully... The tiramisu was also really great! 10/10 with friendly and welcoming service P.S. they even ensure if you're eating halal to advise a different method of cooking & any sauces to avoid!

The ambience in this restaurant transports you in a Wonderful aquarium. I had the best time and had eaten by far the most delicious steak I have had in London! Even the sides were delicious. The service was exquisite from Zootu & Alberto. An unforgettable night and experience. If I could give more stars, I would. Highly recommend for everyone to give this place a try!

Food was excellet, service was great and our host made our Anniversary dinner very special.

Pictures don’t do this place justice. It looks much nicer inside than what Google leads you to believe. Service was great, food was great and prices were great. We had the dinner for 2 and do yourself a favor and get the portobello mushrooms as a side. Those should be an appetizer by themself they’re so good.

Our favourite steak house who never failed us. Our comfort food, The tasting menu was excellent especially the Fillet, it just melts in your mouth. Dessert was good as well my favourite one is the Tiramisu. The waiters are friendly. Recommended to all my friends. Update: I won the best photo competition for March 2023, I went there to claim my free dinner for 2. Honestly I wasn’t expecting much I thought we will only get a main course. But we’re surprised we had 3 courses plus a bottle of wine! Food was extremely good we had Empanadas, Tomahawk, tiramisu and pistachio cake. It was a lovely night, thanks again Mr.Steak!

Fantastic meal, the steak cut like butter and was cooked to perfection. The tiramisu and cannoli were also outstanding. Service was excellent, presentation of meals more personalised, the dry ice effect before the steak arrived added a nice touch.

Hands down the best steak ever! Everything tastes delicious here, the steak, the sides, and the dessert. Service is good and the staff are super friendly and helpful. The restaurant’s atmosphere is really nice as well. This restaurant is definitely a must try👌

This is the best steak I’ve had in London, with the best service. What an absolute find - I can’t believe how lucky we are to have it on our doorstep. The fillet steak was *perfect*, and the blue cheese sauce so good. The sweet potato fries were delicious, as was the salad, but we also loved the spinach béchamel and the tenderstem. And the puddings were in a league of their own - try the pistachio tiramisu with a glass of moscato. The service was charming and super slick, and the restaurant beautifully lit. Could not recommend more highly.

Not only did I thoroughly enjoy my experience at Mr. Steak, but even my children loved it! The staff were incredibly accommodating to our family, and the quality of the food was exceptional. The steak was cooked to perfection, and the sides were delicious. The ambiance was cozy and inviting, and the service was top-notch. Hidden gem of a restaurant! Having read good things about this place I chose this restaurant to celebrate my partner's birthday and we were not disappointed - in fact it was by far our best dining experience in London! The crab claws were a fun and very tasty little starter before we were bowled over by the quality of the Tomahawk! Great sauces and sides too (wld recommend the Chimichurri sauce and the spinach). For desert the pistachio cake really is something special, and an all-time classic, tiramisu, is definitely worth having (if you have room left!) Super relaxed and cozy atmosphere plus some classic and stylishly served cocktails and limoncello on the house in snazzy glasses. Fab birthday experience - thank you so much Mr Steak!

Fantastic service, delicious food and not busy when we went around 6.30pm on a weeknight. Had the burger and show which was unique, but more than I’d have wanted to pay without the Groupon.

We had a lovely evening meal here. All the staff were really friendly and attentive. We had the 11oz sirloin which was fantastic and the golden burger which was also amazing and unlike anything we’d seen before. Would definitely recommend this restaurant!!

Amazing, went here last night with my gf and will definitely be returning. Delicious food and service like it used to be, friendly and on point. My steak was perfect and my gf is still talking about the ravioli today. You must try the canoeli, it's like nothing I have ever tasted before in my life. Good job Mr. Steak

Fantastic little gem. Was staying in a nearby hotel and really fancied a steak. Was a bit hesitant at first because couldn't find many reviews for the place. But didn't realise it's only been open a couple of months. From the moment we walked in the service was fantastic, thanks Rosario. Starters and main, fillet steak was perfect, great portions and cooked perfectly. Also we had cocktails which again were great. Definitely will be back when in London.

Had the most fabulous lunch today with some colleagues. The service was outstanding and the food was delicious. Can't wait to return again very soon and will 1000% be recommending to friends! Pistachio tiramisu was one of the highlights for me! see you again very soon!

Lovely steak and burger house. The waiters are caring and friendly. We had chorizo appetizer to share and four steaks, fillet and rump steak with fries, top tender brocolli and salads as sides. We were so hungry and the dishes so yummy that we did not made a pictures 🥩 As dessert we picked café affogatto that was yum 🍨☕️ We also had several bottles of Italian Primitivo red wine. Everything was served fast without issues. Definitelly recommended to visit 👍🏻

Decided to finally try this place after seeing it on the bus for months! Took my friend who had never had steak before so the waiter got absolutely hounded with questions Ordered the crab claws to start and they were divine! Followed by fillet steak with mash and creamed spinach and my friend got the ribeye with mash and mushrooms. We also go complimentary olives and some Argentinian salt which was divine! The service was impeccable the waiter tolerated us and our questions about cuts and how to have it cooked! Had a couple of Quilmas lagers and red wine to was it down. Probably the best steak restaurant I’ve been to in London!

Lovely little find. The steaks were flavourful, tender and cooked perfectly to our specifications. Considering how great the steaks were, the sides and starter let the meal down a little (burrata for the starter, this was very underwhelming). FYI: The restaurant does serve halal meat but do be mindful of some sauces etc that are cooked with wine, but just ask before ordering - staff are v.helpful.

Short and simple. If you like steak, this is the place to be in Hammersmith. Every time we order, the steak comes out cooked to perfection. Medium rare, just how it should be. Loads of pescatarian options too, so my wife is always sorted. Just go. You’re welcome.

Had a few bad dishes but dealt with amazingly by a masterclass in customer service. The starters of calamari and chorizo were very good. But the mains were another level. The steak in this place is just great. I had the 18°z ribeye and my brother had 8Oz fillet. Just melted in the mouth. And came with fries, the fries were perfect. Then we decided to have a dessert each. Sadly that's where our experience went downhill. We chose churros and caramel donuts as the other option. The churros were so dense and almost rock hard, totally the opposite to what you want churros to be. The donuts have a choice of filling I chose caramel. I can't even explain how awful these were. They had an awful taste but straight away we called over the waitress. A young Italian girl I didn't get her name. She dealt with it absolutely brilliantly and saved the night. She removed the items from the table and came back a few minutes later apologising and said we have removed them from your bill. But then from nowhere she came up with two home made tiramisu and said they was on the house. Absolutely class customer service here and saved the night. All this place needs is to take time and have an overhaul of deserts because they just didn't match the quality of the starters and mains. The bill for 2 of us came to £160. Now I thinks that's high but I still enjoyed it. The steaks were very tasty and the waitress/restaurant were brilliant. Definitely worth a visit. Thanks again Mr steak.

The location is very warm and welcoming. If all tables would be full, it might get tight. The staff is very friendly, helpful and gives you a welcomed feeling. The food is excellent, however the mashed potatoes might have a more buttery flavor, but that's my personal like. The Tiramisu with the possibilities of different "toppings" is a great experience. The reason I can't give 5 stars is, that the mashed potatoes I added to the order were not delivered with the Steak and it was difficult to get the staff attention to remind them about that missing side. However, a great and tasty experience, with room to do it still better the next time. Thanks for a great dinner.

Delicious food, the steak was absolutely perfect, so tender and the chocolate cake so smooth and the best level Of sweetness. Staff : were very nice and accommodating Cleanliness : great Tables are a bit too close to one another and variety of whiskey a bit small, only reason for the 4 instead of 5

A very nice small restaurant. The staff are very professional and knowledgeable about the food. We had Burrata and it was very yummy, we’ve tried their fillet steak and it was yummy. I didn’t like the gnocchi much but overall our experience was very good. The portions were a bit small.

An expensive place. The dining room features unusual lighting effects throughout, but the overall lighting is dim, making it difficult to read the menu. Here and there, videos of fake aquariums and a fake fireplace hang on the walls, a bit of a sadness. When serving the food, they perform a melancholic choreography with fake dry ice smoke in the middle of the table. The steaks are quite tasty, though pricey and not particularly tender. Service is friendly and quick, but a bit pompous when ordering. They don't accept payments with the AMEX credit card: a significant limitation, considering you will pay over £50 for a medium steak and a beer.

Terrible experience starting with a long wait before any of the two completely untrained waiters came to bring a menu card. Steaks came all mixed up for size and cooking level, meat generally of very average quality. I could name other details but the whole experience was just so bad that I wonder if many of the reviews are fake. The Fulham Rd outlet is much better, service, food and atmosphere-wise, but please avoid the Hammersmith restaurant. Never again!

Overhyped and overpriced. Wouldn't return again. I came here last night for a date night because it was rated 4.8 on Google. Unfortunately, this was more of a theatrical place that focused more on Instagrammable content than its food. We ordered the Leave It Up To Me, which came with three prawns, half a lobster, and three medium-rare steaks. Although the experience was nice and different from choosing your own knife and dry ice shows, the food was below par. We started with the prawns, which were warm and okay. Then we went for the lobster, which was overcooked, rubbery, and cold. The meat in the claw was cooked well but didn't have any taste. By the time we reached the steaks, they were cold. The ribeye was tough even though it was medium rare. The rest of the steaks were alright, but having all the food on one plate with the juice from the seafood and meat mixed together and eating it cold isn't something worth £130. We ordered the truffle fries and bechamel spinach, which were something standard you would get at a cheaper place. Truffle oil was used instead of actual truffles, considering the price we were paying. Unfortunately, when the waiter came to see that we had finished, he thought that we loved it. I had to say something, as it was just all hyped up and wasn't what you would want to pay that much for. The only comment that he could give us was to ask them to heat the food up if it was cold. This should have been explained to us with the bunch of explanations that were given regarding the story and theatrics instead. The wine was, however, good.
