Great quality food and service. We often visit this place as it is quite local to us and are always pleased with the quality of the food as well as the service. I have tried a number of items on the menu and have been very happy with the taste and flavours of every meal. The portion sizes are also very good and you definitely get your money's worth.

This restaurant had some of the best Turkish food I have eaten in a while, and the portions are massive. I really enjoyed it and I will certainly be back!

had my birthday dinner there a couple of weeks ago, it was amazing! The service was so good everyone was so nice and I’m so thankful to the hostess for helping us with everything! and everyone enjoyed my birthday dinner!!

Food was excellent and great/ friendly service. We've eaten here before but food today was better than ever. I started with vegan tempura and a delicious Guatemala sauce, and pardon peppers. Main course was Vegan Patlican, a grilled aubergine and pine nut sauce, with bulgur and salad. It didn't excite me on the menu, but they were out of vegan burgers - but that all worked out well as it was really tasty. Good to see more vegan options on their menu. The rest of the party enjoyed Veggie Kebabs and the Lamb Shank. Everyone left happy.

The food was really really good. Rich in flavour honestly. Most restaurant would give out some plain bread before the starters which i never eat but here at yaz the bread had SEASONING. I loved it >< hehe the atmosphere was nice and comfy. Not to busy when I went. I got a fruity mojito and I loved that too along side with chicken a la creme

We hired the upstairs out for my son's birthday last week. The venue is very stylist and has everything you need to host a private party. The food and drinks were great as well as the warm customer service from the team and management. Thank you for everything hope tp be back soon. Kind regards.

I absolutely love Yaz Restaurant - been there at least 4 times and it never disappoints. The brunch is great value - hallumi, boneless chicken, nixed shish, lamb shanks, salmon and sea bass are ALL GOOD. PLUS Unlimited Prosecco. I've never felt rushed and the service is great!!!!

The vibe is on point. Service was outstanding. Really nice place to go food food with friends and family. Nothing about the food blew me away but everything I had was all delicious none the less. 8.5 overall. Which is really high in my book. The live DJ is a nice touch! We returned for another meal then had a few drinks We had mains meals, a couple sides and 4 cocktails in total. Paid around £50 per head.

Myself and my boyfriend had such a wonderful meal at Yaz last night, I think I can say this is my new favourite restaurant! The cocktails were so good you couldn’t even taste the alcohol, despite being a little wobbly once we left! The food is AMAZING, and for the prices is so worth the amount that you get! We were definitely well fed! The meat was so juicy and the sides were cooked to perfection! The staff were so attentive and friendly, giving us more than enough time to look at what we wanted to order, and the wait for the food was not long at all, but long enough to know that everything had been made fresh! Thank you Yaz, we will definitely be back!

An ambient yet lovely atmosphere. We visited late on a Saturday before the 10pm kitchen closure. A few scattered tables of customers otherwise plenty of free space. Service was brilliant. Food was tasty coupled with being of a generous portion.

We had our engagement party at Yaz Restaurant, and I honestly couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel so welcome and looked after every detail perfectly and the atmosphere was just perfect for a celebration. The team went above and beyond to make the night special, and everything ran so smoothly. It was such a beautiful experience, and I’m so glad we chose Yaz for such an important occasion. Highly recommend it for anyone planning a special event or just wanting a great meal with top-notch service!

I simply can't get over how utterly divine the prawn pasta and chai latte were! It was like they were infused with pure love and care. I'm still savoring the amazing flavors!

Just came from lunching at Yaz what can I say faultless service very accommodating. We had a baby and they notice we was making milk offered hot water. On to the food excellent presentation and Michelin style and taste of food. Reasonably priced too. Keep it up ! Served by Ali top man.

Yaz restaurant in Highams Park was fantastic! The mezze and lamb shish were delicious, and the staff, especially Naz, were friendly and attentive. A great dining experience overall!

Amazing food and service. If you're in the area and want delicious food in a great atmosphere it's a must. Also on a Saturday, live DJ upstairs which adds a different vibe to your standard evening meal out. Highly recommend the octopus which is the best I have ever eaten and I've eaten a lot of octopus. Also if you want red wine try the Okugozo you won't be disappointed!

Went here just for a coffee but was surprised by my friend as they came out for a birthday song for my daughter who was with us. Great staff everyone so friendly and welcoming. I have had lunch here before its amazing. Keep up the good work guys.

Lovely ambience, nice food but wretched service. I say this but with ⚠️ as it's not directed at all staff (bar and female staff lovely). However, to the male staff. I witnessed members of staff actively arguing with customers (the customer is always right), rather than be polite and offer to correct the problem. Manager approached with a terrible attitude, to a complaint. Never, ever approach a customer with your arms folded! Christmas party booked 5 weeks ago, for 20ppl but received a call the week prior, stating our booking was cancelled, without explanation. Upon questioning, was rebooked. On arrival, to restuarant, there was no table for us, resulting in staff pushing tables together. £38 each, for two course meal. Starters were small and simple, having to request for more. Steak, fatty but tasty. Due to booking service, we were removed from out table, asked to sit in "lounge" area but chairs were not provided for us, upon asking we were met with disdain, being told that we should be leaving not sitting. If people are paying 💰 and filling your till why would you throw them out, talking about your booking system when no one is in the way, sitting in guests laps, getting under diners feet or causing problems. Because a complaint was made, 3 desserts were brought, with 8 spoons, as a good will gesture. Who's eating 3 desserts when there are 20 of us. We've just come out of covid. I'm not putting my spoon, in a dessert, 19 other people are dipping into, with 8 spoons! This might be an amazing place for a young person but for a woman, who works in hospitality, and comes from a family line, in hospitality, not impressed. Could only be a family business. Would never happen at Pizza Express, the manager's head would spin, if such treatment took place. Upon leaving, the host enquired about my night and experience. I made it very clear the review would not be pretty and here it is. Our party was not made to feel comfortable at all. BUT... the DJ is banging and bar staff make good cocktails🍸.

I've been here a couple of times with different people and had experiences both good and bad. The food is really nice with currently only three vegetarian main courses to choose from for dinner. Everything is presented well and service is good. Would like to go back and try their brunch/lunch menu.

Food was great as were the drinks and the ambience for pictures. Prawns were my favourite and the borek had a different touch to what I usually know. Only thing we weren't fond of where the chips.

This restaurant is definitely worth a visit. My grandson had smoked salmon and scrambled eggs. Generous sized portions. My granddaughter had pancakes with banana, strawberry, and cream. Both of them enjoyed their food. The adults had a full English breakfast, which came with sourdough toast. It was all cooked to perfection. The staff were lovely and I highly recommend you give them a try.

Really nice atmosphere. Great food. Parking free in local bays after 5pm. Only knocked off a star for the price. A little pricey, but we came for a luxury experience, and we got it. 😊

We had a 40th birthday party here because we wanted to support a local business. The staff at Yaz were really accommodating and hosted a great party. The guests really enjoyed the food and the service was great. We were able to decorate the space and play our own music, and children were well catered for. Thank you everyone at Yaz!

They fit us in without a booking. The food was stunning, one female waitress noticed that I had been given the wrong order so she discreetly corrected it, she was great. One male waiter hovered at my side and started taking our plates while I was still chewing food, I wasn't impressed. The music from a private party upstairs was so loud that it made polite dinner conversation impossible, everyone was shouting over the top of each other, even at the waiting staff.

We held a surprise birthday meal for my daughter and were given the upstairs which was absolutely lovely. The food and service was faultless. The person who was in charge of my booking was Berfin who was amazing in every way. I'd definitely recommend this restaurant to others. The only thing that I'd change, is the way the bill is settled as for large groups it has to be paid on one card and can include cash. This can become a headache when having guests transfer their share of the bill to you the host. But other than that it was a wonderful night.

Food and service was good. Maybe a little more than you would normally pay for but everything was faultless, so justified! Have been for breakfast (Saturday) and dinner (Friday) . Not so busy during the day, but was able to walk in on both occasions with no reservations.

Went for Sunday lunch. Food was good and plentiful. The decor is lovely as well. Mid range on terms of prices so not overly expensive. Staff were excellent as well.

It was my first time here. Impressive venue. Not what I was expecting in Highams park area. Also we parked in the Tesco car park which was very handy. 1. Starters Borek was very nice. We ordered the houmus because it sounded unique, with truffle oil and mushrooms but it tasted no different to any other houmus. Chicken wings went down weĺl with the children. 2. Mains Bizarrely they brought in the chucken shish for one person, while the remaining 5 of us had to wait about 20 mins for our food to arrive. The salmon was nice and came with loads of salad as well as the potato gratin. The star for me was the side of seasonal vegetables, a generous and wonderfully delicious surprise. The ravioli was very nice. Chicken shish was tender and juicy. 3. Desert We chose the baklava with icecream. Excellent. Well worth the calories. 4. Coffee was not very good although the presentation was charming. And they served my double espresso with cold milk instead of the hot milk I had asked for. 5. What really annoyed me was the awful music. Very loud thumping music which made it difficult to have a conversation with anyone. It felt like I was in a nightclub. Why would the restaurant think that anyone would want to listen to such hortible music while eating. If Covid 19 has not driven customers away, then the music will. I for one would not put myself through that again.

We were a large party of ladies for a birthday celebration and had the two course menu and bottomless prosecco. The food was lovely although a bit overpriced and we were having a fabulous time until we were asked to keep the noise down because another table said we were too loud (I advised service staff to tell them to get a life). What do you expect for a birthday celebration and bottomless prosecco. If it was the table I am a thinking of, then they came in when we were already halfway through our meal so it was their choice to stay. Why should we dull ourselves down for anyone and why did the service staff take one customers side against another, when they knew we did not have much longer there (as apparently they had "another party" booked) ...I was not happy !!

Had dinner @ Yaz yesterday … it was ok however had to ask for condiments for my lamb shank; my friend said the chicken skewer was rather dry. Waitress was good however they (staff) needed to ensure they were visible to guests as we had to keep seeking their attention when we wanted something.

Great place to eat, order food and relax in the restaurant, or if you just want to chill there's a bar, music and seating area upstairs, as well as a balcony area. Enjoy a pleasant evening with family or friends,

We have been to the restaurant a couple of years ago. Was looking forward to the steak. It was my mums birthday. We ordered 3 steaks however they were extremely salty!! Told the waitress and I feel the customer service reaction needs improvement. They seemed reluctant to “believe “ us. I mean why would all 3 of the party of 8 just say this. She said she would speak to the manager. The manager or anyone did not apologise but offered to replace one of the steaks and told us to choose something else. Bad customer service. Sorry won’t be back. They need to improve on how they deal with issues but seemed to take offence. Steak was not up to standards so please reflect guys

Went here for the 1st time, didn't like at all,table were sticky ,we waited long for food to arrive though,it wasn't busy. When eventually the food arrived it didn't deliver at all,had a vegetable kebab, mushrooms were burnt,you can see in the plate ,just wasn't good at all. Didn't expect to come with a lot of tomatoes sous,just looked like a tomatoes soup with vegetable, and didn't have any rice. Asked for pay and they should have asked: How would you like us to pay ,separate or together. Definitely not be returning.

I am sure that the meze and the grills are good.. But not to deter from the usual traditional Turkish food. They have not many choices left.. I used to love ther prawn pasta. It used to be delucious up to a year ago in fact i bought another as a take away.. This time i found it very poor only 4 prawns and the sauce had no taste just very salty. I had to send it back and wait for my friend to finish his dinner. I went and order a take away from a nearby restaurant..My advise is to stick to the traditional.. The staff however are very friendly and attentive

We had a valentine meal, the mocktail was llike a soft drink, all 2 tablespoons of it, tiny glass, the lamb beyti was tasteless and hardly any yogurt, we were told our mains were getting cold and were rushed and hadnt finished our starters !!! The borek was just goo mozarella and no spinach, the rise was tasteless, very undercooked and wouldnt go down my throat !! The shank was just ok with a small portion mash potatoe underneath and no veg !!! The only good thing was our desert and our waiter, he was lovely !! I definetly would not return.

The service was lovely, the restaurant has a nice vibe. Sadly, the food was not up to scratch especially for the price point. I think this restaurant does other food better, but the chicken and waffles and brunch were poor quality. The waffle was a shop bought very sugary waffle, warmed up with a flat tasteless chicken piece and raw eggs. My husband's halal sausage and turkey rashers were bone dry. I had to be honest and write this review so that people order the other nicer things from the menu. We did pay the service charge regardless.

If I could I will leave 0 stars. Fort of all I order still water at 21:25 and I asked 10 times for it, I revive the water at 22:45. Then we got the food with no break. O asked for the bread 5 times. In the book at the end was iteams that we did not order. I will never come back, I was a regular customer but the altitude this time was the worse one.

The food tasted boiled. Most ppl within our party said the same thing. I had the salmon and others had the lamb and both tasted like it was boiled....soft and then thrown on the grill for like shortest time ever. The food had bearly any seasoning and we had to ask for more salt pepper and chilli
