From the moment we entered the hospitality was already 10x better than my last visit, Ryzen was super friendly and attentive along with the other staff that we interacted with. Starters were nice including the marrow. The platter along with the condiments and side dishes were great. The mushroom sauce needs some work, the rest were punchy. The only real gripe is the floor, a tad slippery. But I would highly recommend. I would book in advance and parking is on the street as it’s in a residential street.

We got the 4 person sharer platter and everything was so good. The smash burgers were a standout and the Wagyu steak was amazing. All the sides and sauces were honestly spectacular and really tied everything together. Our waiter was super nice and friendly which made the experience even better. The only reason I’m giving the atmosphere 4 stars is because the place is quite small so it got pretty loud. That might have been because there was a big group seated right next to us though. Overall great food, great service, and definitely worth it.

Came here with my friend which he recommend highly of this place after seeing a video online. We were no disappointed after ordering their poster for 3-4 people. The staff were all polite and attentive - the food smacked and everything was just cooked to perfection: Smoky, tender and juicy! Best thing I had in my opinion was the bone marrow and toast and the steak. Definitely worth a trip to try this place out!!

Had dinner here with a friend and we were just looking for some good food,and we definitely got it. The medium-rare steak was cooked perfectly, the mushroom and pepper sauces were really tasty, and the sweet potato fries were delicious. If I have to mention something, the mojito was a bit too sweet for my taste, but nothing major. The staff was very friendly and the prices were fair. The restaurant is small, and it was quite full when we went, which says a lot. Overall, it was a great experience with excellent food. Highly recommended.

Easily my favourite restaurant local to Tottenham Stadium up the road! — Highly recommend — I always visit before heading to any kind of event there afterwards. I discovered this place at the start of the year and have returned (4) times to-date since; each experience always consistent and more than impressing the mates I am introducing to it. (All of whom share my love for you guys now, might I add.) The only thing I’m not personally keen on here is the Bone Marrow (I only tried it for the first time EVER in my last actual visit, and it’s at no fault of the kitchen. I just didn’t personally enjoy it as a first-timer, but I can see why others definitely do. Especially the Sour Dough serving it comes with.) Highly recommend all the steak cuts, the Grilled Dynamite Prawns, & and literally all their iterations/riffs on Mojitos! As a suggestion - albeit a selfish one - perhaps upsell the Dynamite Sauce for the steaks too? Thank you guys again for the consistent, great service every time also.

I visited Karv London and really enjoyed the food – everything was full of flavour and clearly made with quality ingredients. The dishes were well presented and tasted great. The only downside was that it was quite crowded, which made the space feel a bit busy and noisy at times. Aside from that, the overall experience was very good, and I’d still recommend it, especially if you don’t mind a lively atmosphere.

It was a little noisy, and the tables felt a little sticky even though they had bean cleaned. The food was very good, enjoyed every single bite, nothing was left, we went as a party of 5, and ordered the platter for 6. Even the cabbage salad given as a complementary was phenomenal, finished a whole bowl myself. Definitely need to book a table before turning up as we went on a Monday evening at 8.30 and all the tables where full, lucky for us we had already made reservations and got our table on time.

We’ve been to Karv a couple of times now for occasions and have enjoyed the food and vibe so much! Our steaks were amazing, love the mash and the drinks too. I have heard, however, that the chicken isn’t great from several people so it won’t be something I order here. It is a small shop so seating is packed close to others, but the service from the waiters is excellent! It is slightly pricey but not so much in comparison to other halal steakhouses. Cant wait to go back!

Very good restaurant, the food was fantastic. Staff very friendly, they advised to choose the Ribeye steak and it was delicious. The burger also delicious. I advise to drink the Strawberry mojito. It’s not near the London Eye and other attractions but it’s totally worth going. Halal also.

Tried Karv after wanting to come here for a while; as the restaurant is quite small, when we previously tried to walk in, there wasn’t availability. so I’d recommend booking in advance for parties larger than 2. To begin the bread and dips arrived which was a nice appetiser, we ordered the bone marrow which came with bread and was very tasty. Had a nice garlic buttery seasoned taste which I enjoyed. Moving on to the platter which was excellent; the rib eye steak was my favourite, it was perfectly medium done and so tender. The flavours did not disappoint, the sides went perfectly with the meat; the burger was excellent, not too much of a thick patty & the flavour was on point. The wings were marinated in a very tasty sauce and were equally yummy. The mocktails were really nice too, and not at all pricey. We all enjoyed our individual ones; I got the strawberry mojito which went well with the meal. The platter was devoured and enjoyed by us all for sure; absolutely recommend to try as the steak were full of flavour and cooked so well. Staff and service were equally attentive & friendly. I cannot fault this place at all! They need more branches around the UK for sure.

I really enjoyed everything about the restaurant and loved the service, especially from the manager, Maaz. I can’t even explain how amazing he was so accommodating and thoughtful. We didn’t have a booking and the restaurant was full, yet he still made arrangements for us to enjoy our visit. I’m truly grateful for the kindness and consideration Maaz showed. Staff were amazing 10/10 all around👏🏾

It’s a nice small place which gets busy really quickly but food is outstanding. I had the Argentine Sirloin Steak it was cooked to medium done it came with some asparagus and a cherry tomato this was cooked to perfection and seasoned well, to compliment that we had a coleslaw salad which went really well with the seal. For sides we had spicy which was flavourful, hand cut fries these were nice and smashed burger this was really tasty packed with flavour. For drinks I went with the virgin mojito with tasted nice and refreshing with the lemon lime and mint. Overall an enjoyable evening with tasty food will definitely recommend this place and will be returning to try the sharing platter.

Excellent vibe and constantly busy, the workers were friendly, polite and very helpful. The ribeye was cooked to perfection and the mash potato was so creaming. Amazing food!!

This establishment had the most amazing food, delicious and succulent meat with smashing burgers, everything was spot on. We had the platter for 4 people, and it came with all the usual side. We managed to get seated very quickly, and the service was quick. The only slight downside is that the space felt crammped and overcrowded as the restaurant was not that big. I would recommend to visit this place 👌

I've been to this restaurant a couple of times now. Both times I booked it for the steaks and both times I was impressed. Excellent quality, premium steaks, great flavourful sauces too. I really liked the mojitos as well. On my last occasion at the restaurant we ordered the platter. The smash burgers and chips were excellent, the chicken wings and chicken was average. Overall slightly on the expensive side but I would definitely go to this restaurant again. Be sure to book in advance though, as it's always really busy, the staff and the service are great. The ambience and atmosphere is good too, not too loud.

Everything was amazing, from the food to the atmosphere. It was incredibly affordable, and my friends and I loved it. We’d definitely come back!The only thing is it’s very small but I guess smaller the better quality!!!

Service was 10 out of 10. Extremely friendly and inviting. We had the chicken tacos, lamb tacos, bone marrow and prawn for starters. We also got the sharing platter for 6 people. The ribeye steak was absolutely delicious. Every thing we was great but that ribeye was just amazing. Highly recommend. It does get busy, so call ahead.

I really enjoyed dining at Karv. The steak was very juicy and tender cooked to perfection. Me and my two friends ordered the rib eye steak which we all loved! Still dreaming about the steak today. The service was great to and waiters were very attentive. I would say the space inside is very small/ cramped but otherwise cannot fault Karv!

My friend and I stopped by for lunch while exploring the area, and we were welcomed in even without a reservation. The food was absolutely delicious — we had the tacos and shared a rib eye, which was more than enough to leave us full and satisfied. The restaurant did get a little crowded and noisy at times, but overall it was a really good experience and I’d happily come back!

We visited Karv Steakhouse in London (fully halal) and it was honestly one of the best food experiences we’ve ever had. We started with the lamb tacos – soft tortillas filled with tender, juicy lamb, fresh herbs and a zingy sauce that gave just the right kick. They were light but packed with flavour and set us up perfectly for the main course. The highlight was the bone marrow Angus cheeseburgers with chips. Juicy, smoky, and melt-in-the-mouth, topped with creamy cheese and served with flatbread, red cabbage coleslaw and a delicious dip. Without a doubt, the best burgers we have ever eaten. The restaurant itself is small, tucked away in the middle of a housing estate, and the seating inside is a little cramped. But the food and service more than make up for it. The staff were friendly, welcoming and really looked after us. Karv may not look like much from the outside, but the food and service are exceptional. A real hidden gem, and if you’re looking for high-quality halal food in London, this place is a must-visit.

Very fast and accommodating customer service at Karv they were so so lovely! The seating was slightly packed together but I think great for larger parties. I found the chicken both in the tacos and as a meal slightly dry and could’ve been better with more seasoning but the burger was great and I loved the mojito too I would definitely go back to try the steak too

This was our first visit to Karv and we were somewhat impressed, we ordered the platter for 4 for £85. The steaks were top notch, smash burgers were excellent. We requested to swap the 8 wings for the bone marrow which was accepted and it was delicious. The chips were fresh, and the chicken breast was decent but went well with the complimentary sauces. The complimentary bread with tzatziki and coleslaw was also a really nice touch and delicious. My only criticisms would be was that the rice was bland, they forgot to give us our mash potatoes, house salad and gravy sauce which we didn’t realise ourselves. Also the restaurant is relatively small and we sat by the door where it felt cold so I had to keep my jacket on. We shared the platter between two and the table itself was not big enough for the platter, to eat comfortably. However they did end up attaching another table to ours midway through. To end on a positive note, the food was delicious, the attitude from the staff was friendly and approachable, they did listen to our request to join another table and felt very homely within the restaurant, I would’ve given 5/5 if the restaurant was bigger with seating, tables spaced out a bit more and if we were given everything that we paid for. Definitely do go and visit for their quality delicious food!

Fantastic, affordable steakhouse in north London. Starters and sides were okay, but steak was fantastic; the meat was well seasoned and well cooked. Service was also fantastic. Highly recommended.

Very nice little place of the beaten in Stoke Newington. Got there on time of our reservation, was seated immediately, tables are very tightly closed to other table, therefore no place for private romantic conversation. This is not fine dine, the is more cafe style, menu on the table, cutlery on a tin. The service was ok. Food good, atmosphere ok same as all the place in London, loud music to drawn out the conversation. Ordered the platter, table for four was too small, like I you are cramped in like sardines Food was hot, steak was perfectly cooked, medium rare, was on the cold side, as they leave it to sit for a while, all the meat was quickly eaten. Subhana Allah, no alcohol is served only soft drink. No water was offered

I had come here today with my friend, our experience here was okay the service was really good especially from a gentlemen named Ryzin, he was very welcoming and kind. We had both ordered the sirloin steak medium well done but it was served very well done, we wasnt too happy with the food. Ryzin was serving us, he had got the steak changed which we appreciated, and had checked up on us a few times making sure everything was okay. Overall the service and place was really nice, we wasnt really a fan of the food.

Went to this restaurant after recommendation from few friends. First of all getting there (London! ) from reading took us as long as it takes us to go to Birmingham (almost two hours). We had pre booked table so wait time was zero which was very good. We got served by an eager passionate guy who took us to our table through a maze of small cramped up tables and people sitting and eating. To be honest I didn’t expect to be sitting next to another family on the right and left and front and back literally it was so small a space between tables that I just couldn’t have a conversation with my friends in any privacy or leisure. We are not at school canteen where you can over hear every conversation yet they all sound like crowd noise. Wasn’t pleasant at all. We ordered our food which was prawns and main was platter. Prawns were absolutely amazing with subtle hint of spice and flavour topped up with sauces. 5 ⭐ Platter had bit of everything Steaks were done perfectly medium to well done had body of meat as well as distinct flavours amazing 5 ⭐ Potato mash wasn’t up to mark wasn’t buttery enough or smooth enough. In fact it was bit coarse and grainy not to our liking. I like mine smooth buttery that melts in your mouth. 3 ⭐ Gravy that came with the platter was bland however but more black pepper and hint of tangy lime would have been perfect however it’s more of personal taste over all did the job 4 ⭐ Rice were very good and had plenty of flavours proper cooked and fresh. Really likes them however portion was too small for three of us 4 ⭐. Smash burgers was the best part. Juicy smooth cheesy flavoursome and really felt the full body of meat so flavours were not overpowering to neglect the real gourmet meat. Salad was good and worth a mention as well. Overall absolutely amazing food would definitely give 5 ⭐ overall. However all that long a travel and high end pricing to go along with cramped noisy atmosphere I can’t give 5 ⭐ overall am afraid. In summary if you are looking for amazing food with zero atmosphere ambience and are happy to eat among crowded tables and noise then you should not look any further This is the place to eat. Not for me am Afraid as I expect calm serene quiet atmosphere where I can enjoy small private chat and enjoy hearty five star food which they certainly offer. One more thing to watch out for is their service charge as it wasn’t mentioned or advertised. I have dined in many restaurants and places service charge is only applicable if there are 8 or more people which is fair as you occupy a server just to yourselves not here though as we were only three of us. Perhaps politely decline the service charge and they may waive it off like they do in most high end restaurants.

I absolutely love the Smashburger and the mash and the mash is different from other places so it’s really good but the only downside is I’ve for example before brought the platter and the steaks were decent. The chicken was just not edible whatsoever. My friends went previously and they told me that the chickens were not nice once I also tried it me and my partner I just cannot even eat it. Avoid the chickens at all costs ref meat is all good. It’s also small and as there’s a lot of people so it’s packed to food does take a bit longer than usual. I really really would hope that they expand or open another branch whether that’s in Hackney or elsewhere.

Tried this place for the first time last night, the service is great, staff are very friendly. The atmosphere could be better if the restaurant was bigger, they have to many tables so your all sitting ontop of each other, and due to it being this small it gets very loud if a group come in. Regarding the food, I have mixed emotions, I ordered the fillet steak and although the taste was fantastic the quality of the meat wasnt so great my fillet was extremely chewy and full of fat, it shouldn't be like this. My partner had the ribeye and said it was perfect. The dessert menu is a let down cause there basically isnt one and so is the drinks menu. I might give this place another try to see if 2nd time around the fillet is better it might have just been a 1 off.

I'd say the service was the highlight of our visit. The staff were attentive, friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the food didn't live up to quite the same standard. The prime cut Argentine ribeye was passable but overly fatty, and the wood-roasted bone marrow leaned far too oily to be enjoyable. We also ordered hand-cut twice cooked fries but weren't told they were unavailable, the basic fries that arrived felt like a downgrade at £4 for a small portion. The atmosphere can also become uncomfortably loud if a party is happening next to where you're seated as the space is quite small and can feel somewhat cramped. For a place that markets itself as the best halal steakhouse in London, it didn't fully convince me. Worth trying once, but not somewhere I'd go out of my way to return to.

We had a reservation, yet we were asked to wait an additional 30 minutes. What made the situation even more frustrating was that guests who had reserved for a later time were seated before us. No clear explanation or apology was given. When you make a reservation, you expect it to be respected. Unfortunately, that was not the case at Karv Restaurant. We will not be returning. This response does not reflect our experience. We did not arrive 30 minutes late, and we were asked to wait while guests with later reservations were seated before us, without any explanation or apology. What I also found highly inappropriate is that after posting this review, I was contacted repeatedly throughout the afternoon and pressured to remove it. This felt intrusive and only reinforces why I felt it was necessary to share our experience. Reviews are meant to reflect honest customer experiences. This response and the way the situation was handled do not change that.

This was quite shocking! There was so much hype and it lived up to none of it. The 'wagyu' steak was flavourless and quite chewy. The smash burger was really bad, it could have been £1.50 from a kebab shop, flavourless and loads of cartilage, blobby bits of mince, not nicely ground at all. The half chicken was... Flavourless, dry, oily, skin was chewy. The tacos were fine, chips were fine, sauces were fine. All of it was £65... Really horrendous, don't believe the hype. Genuinely one of the most bland meals I've ever eaten in my life. Update and response to owner: Who wants attention on Google reviews lol, I haven't posted on socials... You should learn to take criticism, I paid in full and didn't cause hassle. The food was just not good.
