This was our first visit to the 908 and will not be our last. We had such a good time here. We sat at the bar and the bartender Austin took really good care of us. The mai tai he made me was one of the best I have ever had. We loved the garlic fries so much that we had two orders of it. The rest of our food was exceptional as well. I had the Atlantic salmon and my husband had the tomato pasta. The place is very cute, kind of hidden over by the Hangar at LBX. We will definitely be coming back during brunch to try out that menu as well.

I had a relaxing time at 908 yesterday. Andrew was my bartender/server and he was really helpful. I ordered a strawberry/cucumber margarita and it was amazing, I loved it so much💗 I also ordered the spicy fried jidori chicken sandwich and it was good. Thank you so much for your hospitality Andrew, will be coming back soon !

Just wow! The food quality and taste are excellent. The Brussels sprouts are amazing; I could eat them every day. The rosemary chicken was also fantastic! Will definitely return!

Lively eatery in a fun collection of shops, bars, and restaurants near the Long Beach Hangar Complex. Enjoyed a sandwich and the Happy Hour drinks and appetizers before heading off to a show in Long Beach. Lots of people out enjoying their Friday night.

Best Happy Hour!! They make some of the best drinks, but if your like me and always on a budget they can be a little pricy. However, Happy Hour here is amazing. From the drinks to the food, you will NOT be disappointed. So next time you need a girls spot to drink and eat a little something this is the perfect place. Also on the weekends right outside in the courtyard they have a famers market with a DJ playing great music and you can walk around with your drink. ENJOY! Perfect daytime spot!

Wish I could give more than 5 stars for this place! Our server, Tu was amazing and very patient in helping us make a decision on drinks, apps and the main course. Drinks were very well made and the atmosphere is vibrant! Definitely making this a regular stop.

We went to this restaurant for the first time. I had avocado toast, which was served with fruit. It was very tasty! There is a large selection on the menu. I’d like to go back and try other items. The location was good, and I went shopping afterward.

Stayed at a hotel within walking distance and wasn't sure what sounded good for dinner. This place has a great menu for indecisive folks, with classic dishes and fresh recipes. I had the steak salad, which was fantastic, and my coworker had a burger, which he said was delicious. Beer selection is great, service is fast friendly, and professional. Highly recommend.

Have been to The 908 on a couple of occasions and love this place. The location has a nice vibe to it, and I like the large bar that overlooks the restaurant. Truthfully, I like this place because I can generally find a seat at the bar and grab a drink and a great meal without having to wait to get seated. The prices here are a bit more expensive than the surrounding food establishments, but the quality is outstanding, and it just tastes good. I like all of the burgers and recently had the breakfast options, and they were awesome. Highly recommend!

Came to celebrate my birthday and the entire experience was fabulous, professional, welcoming, and attentive. Our waitress Sabrina was very patient as guest arrived and fullfilled every request with care. The kid's brunch plate is a great selection!

We were visiting from Alabama and lucky to walk up on this place. OUTSTANDING- food and service we could not be more happy we had the opportunity to have lunch with you guys.. Over all I will tell anyone to come visit.. Thank you for making our fist time in California an excellent experience. If you are on a cruise waiting to board go to this place!

From the goat cheese artichoke, poutine, cioppino, fried chicken with brussel sprouts to the cocktails, 908 doesn't disappoint. All fried food were very nicely fried and crunchy, especially the brussel sprouts. They have a texture that you just can't achieve with an air fryer at home. Cioppino was fresh with a nice seafood flavor. I really appreciate to be asked if I wanted pasta with the dish when I ordered, since I'm always trying to cut down on carbs. Having no pasta takes some of the guilt away from not wasting food.

Quickly seated and immediately engaged, the attentive staff and server set the time for a fantastic experience for my small family of three. We ordered an Old Fashion & Laphroaig for the adults and a cranberry juice for my daughter and all the drinks arrived shortly thereafter. Following a few recommendations, we settled on the Salmon and Double Cut Pork Chop entrees along with a larger dinner salad with the addition of grilled shrimp. We chatted for what seemed like a few moments and were rewarded with three exceptional dinners that immediately had our mouths watering! The salmon, pork chops, and shrimp were cooked to perfection while the salad was prepared with fresh & crisp ingredients. A Friday feast that did it's job in melting the worries of the long week away in no time.

We went for my Birthday brunch on a Saturday! We were pleased with the appetizer options that we decided to share. Really enjoyed the mussels, artichoke flowers, tuna towers and wonderful drinks!

I sat at the bar and enjoyed a couple drinks Alagash White Beer and the Bourbon Mule. I had the Prime Rid Dip and The grilled flat iron steak salad which were both really good and I’ll be returning for to order again. For an appetizer I had the shrimp ceviche which was tasty but definitely not worth the price there was probably only like 3 shrimps cut up to make it look like a lot but that’s just my opinion. I’ll definitely be returning to try out the other tasty looking sandwiches.

Great place for brunch with huge portions. There were also outside seating with a view of LBX, and plenty of parking. They also take reservations, which was painless to do online. Service was great and attentive. I ordered a kid's brunch and the pancakes were as big as the adult entrée.

G

Service with a smile since I walked in. This is my second time for brunch and the experience was just as good as the first one. Food came quick and was delicious. I had the Vanilla Bean French Toast, a side of scrambled eggs and French press coffee. The French toast portions are quite big, so I had leftovers, of course. Would love to be back and try lunch and dinner next!

I like the location and the staff is super nice. My favorite was the calamari (not pictured). The shrimp & lobster linguine was good. My broccolini needed just a little more char (not pictured). Ube cheesecake was so good. Yes I will visit again

Nice place but parking was a bit tricky because of the location. Food was delicious and our server was lovely. Place can get a little loud so keep in mind if you’re looking for a quieter dining experience. I look forward to returning and trying something else on the menu

The food and service here was outstanding. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this place seeing that it is in a strip mall. I had the Halibut with mashed potatoes and mixed root vegetables. It was delicious. I also had a great local Hazy IPA. It was my girlfriend's birthday and they were sweet enough to give her a free chocolate cake with ice cream desert and a lit candle. Nice touch! Our waitress was outstanding. My girlfriend had the steak and frites with Brazilian chimicurri and that would outstanding as well.

An upscale eatery with a wide range of menu prices from $20 sandwiches to $100 steaks and everything in-between. The brussel sprouts appetizer is excellent, though could go a bit stronger on the balsamic for my preferences, and is a massive portion well suited for 2-4 people (that I may have mistakenly ordered for just myself). At $14, highly recommend. The maple glazed pork chops are my usual go to, and they're excellent on their own, but today I noticed the Iberica Pork seasonal special and - while not their most expensive offering at *only* $61 - decided to treat myself. The portion size for the Iberica Pork was reasonable, but the temper and seasoning - just some mild, flaky salt - made it absolutely delectable with the perfect render on the fat and excellent crust. The chimichurri offered alongside it is practically sinful to actually use, as it easily overpowers the Iberica Pork, but was quite flavorful for use with the side of grilled broccolini, which was the only mild disappointment given how unseasoned it was. The other side, garlic fries, were perfectly cooked and seasoned with a nice amount of garlic. The Panna Cotta is excellent, though a bit confusing as it appears the coffee, caramel, and banana flavors were all blended together instead of being layered or separate. The English breakfast tea was, unfortunately, not actually available - but the early gray on offer instead hit the spot just the same and paired nicely with the desert. An excellent place for special occasions or more frequent visits if one can resist the temptation of their generally pricey specials.

A fantastic restaurant with a wide variety of food options. I ordered the braised short rib, and it was cooked to perfection—tender, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The service was excellent; our server was both friendly and attentive throughout the meal. The atmosphere is vibrant, with the choice of cozy indoor seating or a pleasant outdoor patio. The menu offers something for everyone, including fish, shrimp, salads, and various meat dishes. Highly recommended!

The 908 in Long Beach totally hit the spot. It has that rare combo of clean, elevated food with a chill, modern vibe that makes you want to stay a while. I started with the Caesar salad and added grilled chicken—super crisp romaine, fresh shaved parm, and a house-made dressing that actually had flavor (not the watery stuff). The chicken was grilled just right—juicy, clean, no grease. Simple and perfect. The Thai Curry Sea Bass was the star of the night. The fish was buttery soft, and the curry had just the right amount of warmth without being heavy. Loved the fresh veggies and the light rice on the side. It was flavorful but still felt light—like the kind of dish you feel good eating. Ended the night with the berry cobbler and ice cream and oh my god, it was SO good. Tart, sweet, warm berries with a golden, buttery topping and melty vanilla ice cream. I don’t even normally go for dessert, but this was 100% worth it. The whole place has this relaxed, welcoming energy. Everyone on the team was so friendly and kind—just really good people. It’s modern without being cold, buzzy without being loud. Honestly, it’s one of those places you instantly want to come back to. Already planning a return trip for brunch.

The 908 is an old fave down in Long Beach at thr Long Beach Exchange - LBX. Met up there with an old friend for lunch recently, and it did not disappoint. The poke bowl was light and refreshing, and sitting on the patio, the weather was perfect. Great also for after work drinks. I actually have never been for dinner, as I usually go for lunch and sit on the patio! Whatever your choice is, enjoy!

You rarely see a restaurant have such unique menu offerings, good food, great staff, and comparable value. The 908 has all of the above. The food was spectacular, not a bad thing about it. The vibe there was great. The food was ok, not bad. However, it was not spectacular to rave about. I ordered the breakfast tacos and a spinach dip, and it cost me $45. With that, if I'm in the area, I may stop off and eat here again.

Dined here some years back when they first opened and it wasn't very memorable. Gave it another try as my wife had recently gone with her parents and was highly impressed. Ordered the steak salad, calamari and sea bass. They were all very good, especially the sea bass and the calamari. The sea bass was nicely cooked, paired with some glass noodles, spinach and shitakke mushrooms. Delish. It also had a nice kick to it. The calamari was well prepared, crunchy yet soft, not too chewy. Also went well with some fried chili/jalapeno peppers. Overall, I think it is worth coming back to explore the menu further.

Just walked into this place on a whim and glad we did. The menu isn't big, but what we ordered was really good. I had the lobster roll and my brother had the fish tocos, we also had an order of roasted brussel sprouts. Service was okay, but a bit slow. I'd go again. Update July 2024 Visiting family in the Long Beach area and we went back to 908. Another excellent experience! We shared the brussel sprouts again, one had the ceasar with salmon, one had the Pork Chop, one had the lobster pasta and I had the lobster roll. Everyone throughly enjoyed the food. Only one minor comment from me on the Lobster Roll, the bread to filling ratio was off, a smaller bun or removing some of the bun interior would help it greatly. Cocktails we fun and hit the spot and our service team were all friendly and helpful.

Sis and I ate here because we want to try it out. Everything was good until the end when I can't finish my meal, sis took over. It was a small portion of pasta and then.....she pulled a silver thing out, saying it was kind of stuck in her throat, luckily it was out! Our server saw the incident, a moment later the manager came over to apologize and took care of that for us, we didn't demand or ask for the manager to come over, he saw a problem and took care of it. Thanks Daniel and Amy! The service was excellent but 1 star short because the kitchen need to do better.

Stopped by The 908 for lunch and was really impressed with the nice, classy vibe of the restaurant. The fish tacos were great and definitely a highlight. I also tried the lobster roll. The lobster meat itself was delicious and served with a nice butter lemon compound, but the total package with the roll and lettuce made the sandwich just okay. The main downside was the service, which was unfortunately lacking and not very attentive. I'd visit again for the food, hoping the service is better next tim

Good food and unique creative takes on good old comfort dishes. We had a work lunch during the week and the dishes were affordable. I had the prime rib sandwich and the quality of the meat was great. What caught me off guard was the amount of horseradish spread inside the bread. It hit me like a brick… my nostrils open up instantly and my brain went haywire. If you order the sandwich, ask for the horseradish on the side so you can spread it yourself and not be caught off guard. The service was excellent, the restaurant itself was very modern, and the ambience was very comfortable.

Great crispy Brussels sprouts, slightly sweet with bacon, and I loved the bleu cheese on it so much!they must have been out of wine/ champagne glasses for my drink. It was happy hour during the week, not very busy. I’m an out of towner but would probably go again next time and try their sandwiches

Great place to have dinner with friends or family - a variety of options on the menu (with some very unique dishes like the pho burger) and always amazing service from their staff. A little bit on the pricier side but they also have a happy hour on weekdays from 3-6pm for $4 off appetizers and $2 off of draft beer! Their outdoor patio is always busy and it looks like a great place to host an event. We tried their lobster roll, calamari, and steamed mussels this time. Their lobster roll was pretty small and had too much butter for my taste (it was dripping the whole time 😅) but the calamari and mussels were tasty as always!

Food: 4/5 Service: 4/5 Ambiance: 4/5 Parking: 3/5 Family friendly: 4/5 Stroller friendly: 2/5 Came here for a company party first week of December. Most things went very smooth until about 6pm when the dinner rush hit. I think our waitress was given way more sections than she could handle on her own because I could see her physically running. She handled everything pretty well, i might add. Food here is good for what you pay for. Not that it's a bad thing, but i feel the food is just slightly over priced for what is given. $125 for a tomahawk chop +2 sides and two of our sides came out waaaaaay after the steak did because our waitress was running around. $25 for 4 inches of roasted bone marrow split in half. Drinks were phenomenal however. I would def come back for the drinks.

Nice local spot for dining and drinks. Great cocktail options. However, the food lacks seasonings. Service was pretty standard. This is more of a Sports bar with an extended menu.

Tl;dr: 3 stars for food and service. 4 for drinks and atmosphere. I don’t think I’d come back for food. Maybe drinks Sort of surprised this place as got good reviews as it did, but maybe we ordered the wrong things (or people get their post-workout endorphins and love their meal). Conveniently located next to the airport and a BUNCH of workout studios, and a little food hall. You might have to wait a few minutes to get a spot, but plenty of parking. What we got: pistachio crusted halibut (lacked a lot of flavor, came out room temp not hot), white sauce mussels (also lacked flavor on the mussels themselves but then the dipping sauce with bread was salty), and the 908 burger with fries (soggy-ish fries, burger was ok) Only one of us had a drink- the Dos Mia (name?) margarita, first one on the menu with mezcal. That was pretty good. Service didn’t bring us sharing plates or ketchup until we asked, but overall ok. Nothing bad or great. Mood seems really nice. Has a patio that’s dog friendly. With our dishes, came out to $120+tip. Not sure it’s worth it hence the 3 stars!

Made reservations online an hour before dining on a Thursday. We showed up and were immediately sat. I will say the host wasn't sure which table to bring us to and shortly after sitting down I found grains of rice on the table. This table was not cleaned... So we ordered wine! We were celebrating! One glass of each of the 2 pinot noirs on the menu. One of the glasses was dirty and the wine smelled old...so we asked for it to be replaced with a freshly opened bottle...ahhh did it taste good. Ok, on to food 🍲 Ordered the French onion soup. Tasted fine but the top was all mushy. Could have been in the melter longer. The portion size was a bit on the lower side as well, especially for the cost $ Ordered the caprese salad. It was good overall. I think they refrigerate their tomatoes which changes the texture. Ordered the steak, arugula and garlic fries. Steak was good. Arugula needed a bit of life put into it, ok maybe a lot. Fries had raw garlic (usually its a little sautéed or something) Not a date night item. I would say overall, our server did a great job. The food needed improvement. The wine glasses need polishing (could see obvious lip marks on the dirty glass we first received) We may or may not try this place again...possibly during busier hours?? What we received for the price paid, I would say it was not equivalent.

We had food delivered due to my surgery. We ordered the double pork chop and the salmon. The pork chop was the bomb. It was fantastic. The salmon was overcooked and a bit salty. I was a bit disappointed since I usually have great food from The 908.

We went as a party of 3 on a Tuesday night. The restaurant was very busy considering it was a Tuesday evening. We found the service from our waiter was good, he seemed knowledgeable and checked often on is to ensure we had a good experience. The service was excellent but we found the food was off average quality. We had the sea bass and the fried chicken. We found the fried chicken to be driving in way too much gravy and we couldn't really taste the flavor of the chicken. The fish was average tasting and was way overpriced. We also found the fried chicken to be overpriced. We wouldn't return there because we found the food to be out of touch with the prices. We also had two appetizers being the meatballs and calamari. The prices were high and again the taste did not match the prices. The noisy atmosphere was good for a celebration or group party but if the quality and price of the food are what matter most to you then I would suggest trying another restaurant.

While shopping around at LBX, my family and I started to get hungry. We saw several.different restaurants around, but The 908 caught our eye because it seemed busy and lively. When we entered, we were greeted by the hostess and were immediately able to be sat. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating, and we went with outdoor. We, unfortunately, waited about 15 minutes until finally, the manager came to our table asking if we had been helped. We responded that we hadn't, and she immediately took our order. By that time, we were starving, and we placed both our drink and food order. For the inconvenience, she gave us a complimentary appetizer; goat cheese stuffed artichoke. It was very good. When our food arrived, we all dug right into it. I had French toast, which was a bit disappointing. Since it was just French toast, I was expecting big and fluffy slices. Instead, I got thin flat slices. My daughter was craving steak, so she went with the piranha, which was disappointing. The majority of the pieces were fat. There was hardly any eatable meat for her to enjoy. Finally, my hubby got a streak as well, the wagyu strip. He, too, was very disappointed with his steak. It was cold to the touch and had no flavor. Cold flavorless steak! Ugh! I kind of wish we walked out after waiting for 15 minutes for a server. That should’ve been our cue. I'm sad that our food didn't meet our expectations. While watching everyone around us having a good time, I wanted to ask how their food was. I wanted to have a good time like they were. :( 😞

The manager bussed our table, then the waitress said she would provide 2 free drinks. When we got our check we were charged for those drinks, and when trying to explain this to the waitress and manager she mentioned the waitress said we were aggressive. Extremely strange encounter, lack of accountability, and simply demeaning experience. Will never come here again. Don’t use the bathroom or they WILL bus your table
