The Fried Wings are AMAZING!! The eggplant dish is Delicious, on the spicy side. Orange chicken & sesame chicken also my favorites. Half rice & half chowM can really fill up a hungry person w left-overs for later. This place serves plentiful. 1 combo can be shared by 2 people. Price is very fair.

Just got catering for about 50 people and it worked out perfect, including fair pricing at about $10/pp. Delivery guys were top notch and very friendly.

I can eat twice and I appreciate that. It's the next day and I have my curry chicken to eat for lunch! Thank you China Star Express!

I got the two piece combo with rice and noodles and veggie rolls and teriyaki chicken with a free soda! It’s a special that they have from 3-6pm everyday I believe or it could just be Monday through Friday but I never seen a free coke with a meal before so this is a be ey good deal and I spent about $11.00 for the meal and free coke nothing! It saves me money and yummy food to eat for the price I would highly recommend to go and try it for yourself and go between those hours so you get a free drink. The parking is small and luckily I was able to find parking but it was around 3pm when I went so and be careful driving in as it’s a small little plaza.

One of the best bang for your buck places, so clutch especially for college students! Got the 3 item combo with orange chicken, kung pao chicken, and broccoli beef, and portions were very generous.

AMAZING chinese food place. plates of food are only 12ish bucks and they give you heaping portions, definitely a saving grace for broke college students (especially given it's location next to the university). Highly reccomend the mushroom chicken as well as the chow mein.

The thing that drives me to always keep going back to China Star Express is the great service. They load your plate up with food it is unbelievable. You can not beat the prices for food. I would recommend everyone try their wontons and get some of their boba. I love the convenience of China Star they are always able to make me feel satisfied. So yummy.

Cheap, good eats close to Cal State Long Beach. This place has your typical take out Chinese food. The Mongolian chicken and Mushroom chicken are good. The pho is also surprisingly good. I would recommend this restaurant.

not bad! they have a lot of deals as well, like free egg roll with your meal from 2-6pm. i think my only issue is the price and portion. i've had the same meal with the same price but with twice the amount of food somewhere else. overall, i still recommend trying it. i definitely recommend the pork bbq!

The noodles and rice was acceptable but kinda bland. The bbq pork was tough and over cooked and the chicken I would rate a 7 out of 10. Everyone has different tastes but in my opinion it wasn't worth it and I probably wouldn't go back. Still looking for some good Chinese food 😋

First off the food was more than $5.00 more than the stated price because they upcharged both proteins and didn't specify it ahead of time, and usually in most Chinese establishments teriyaki chicken is standard fare not a upcharge item. The noodles and rice was acceptable but kinda bland. The bbq pork was tough and over cooked and the chicken I would rate a 7 out of 10. Everyone has different tastes but in my opinion it wasn't worth it and I probably wouldn't go back. Still looking for some good Chinese food 😋

Really disappointed with the orange chicken quality. Most of the orange chicken was breading and a few big pieces. The teriyaki jalapeño wings hands down has the best flavor. They serve you 70% rice and 30% chow mien.

I frequent this place often I like the veggie pho and the taro slushie but I won’t be going back. Some dude was being totally disrespectful to my wife. I’ve had some ok experiences, some ok some good, but that was the last straw. You lost my business.

I highly recommend not coming here. This place is a scam. On their menu they have one price but they charge you something else at the end. I ordered a three item combo of $14 but they ended charging me $18. How is it possible that from $14 it changes to $18. They tried to make stuff up by saying that they charge an extra dollar per item you order. Please people be careful these people are stealing, no where you go will they charge you extra per item in your combo. Go anywhere else but here, these people will steal your money and they are incredibly stingy with their food, they dont put anything in your plate.
