I love going here with my friends. Some locals are a tad grumpy (they complain about the younger crowd who comes on Fridays), but I've never been here in a Friday so idk. I don't let others ruin my night. Staff is 100% top notch and they treat all well.

Great place to catch a game. Gret variety of beers and giant sizes available which was awesome. Standard selection of liquor but nothing too fancy from what I could remember. Bartenders are nice. Would definitely visit again.

Good people here! The short story: Good prices, good food, good atmosphere. The long story: Tonight while I was out fabric shopping at Joanne's right next door to Dempsey's, I returned to my car only to find that it wouldn't start. In need of some tools, I began asking the local businesses if they might have a fix-it bag they could spare for a few minutes; after several establishments with no luck I decided to stop into Dempsey's and they did me one better. Upon hearing my plight, the bartender called out to one of the regulars (who I believe to be a mechanic or someone of a similar vocation) he immediately jumped to help me. He was a pleasant man who spent a good chunk of time trying to get my car started, and when we didn't have any luck his wife offered to call AAA for me. I was touched that these strangers would make such a valiant effort to help me. While waiting on the tow truck, I went back into the bar to sit and have a bite to eat, the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming and the atmosphere and regulars were warm and neighborly. The prices of the food/ drinks were great and the food was delicious- if you go, try the garlic parmesan fries they're awesome! I will definitely be visiting this place again and if you're looking for a great hometown bar to sit and have a cold one or to watch the big game, I couldn't recommend this place enough. Thank you Dempsey's for turning my awful night into one with filled with good people and good eats! :) :)

Ive been here for 6 years doing their Trivia Night every Wednesday with my genious team. It's well worth it get a team and come. The trivia starts around 7:15 you can have up to 7 people and there is cash involved with each team member giving $5 in. There is a person asking the questions there are no phones or computers involved it's just speech. Come give it a try just how smart you? The food is just fine and the drinks are at a good price.

Fun place it's a local joint. It's been there a long time the food is really good actually. I had that bacon lettuce and tomato with french fries. And my girlfriend had the Philly steak sandwich and chili cheese fries which I ate some of hers of course. But I think you'd enjoy it.

It had spicy seasoning on sliced tender chicken breast with lettuce and sautéed jalapeños, onions and tomatoes. It was a tasty, filling sandwich. The patrons were friendly and outgoing. I will definitely be back any time I'm in the area.

I was visiting my CA family from NC and found this local pub. I loved the friendly hometown atmosphere…a la “Cheers”. We ordered the wings, sliders and jalapeno wonton (my favorite!). They treat their regulars like royalty…so if you live nearby you should definitely check it out! The staff was very friendly, food came out quick and piping hot and delicious. It was better when the ladies owned it but you know for being a walk away from my home it's not that bad. Depending on what time you go there's a couple of groups there that I don't really care for.

The lady bartenders spend more time chatting up 2-3 regulars than serving the rest of the bar. Not as bad as Glory Days, but still pretty lousy.

The music was much louder than conversation volume (to an obnoxious degree) so I had difficulty communicating with the other guests and wait staff. Definitely recommend bringing ear plugs. Good atmosphere if you're looking for a beer and a quick round of billiards. Possibly the worst old fashioned I've ever ordered at any bar! But at least the beer was cold and the bathrooms and tables were clean. I have no plans or interest in ever going back. Solid two stars. I didint hate it. But I didn't enjoy the experience either.

Last night I visited with my wife and our family member from out of town. What a disappointment, I was really embarrassed too. On 8/24/22 about 7 pm we arrive and had a seat when the waitress came over she had a look of "I don't want to be here and I hate my job". I ignored her attitude and put an order in for drinks and tacos. 20 minutes later she returns with our drinks, and they were served in these little glasses, almost like a large shot glass, with these really long paper striped straws. My wife said to the waitress " last Tuesday when we came in for drinks, we order the same thing, and the glasses were pint-size glasses" before my wife could say anything else the waitress snapped and said, "IM NEW ON TUESDAYS AND THESE ARE THE GLASSES I USE AND IF YOU ORDER MORE ILL TRY TO USE ANOTHER GLASS!!!!'' and she walked away. Wow!! we all three looked at each other in shock!!! I am all for supporting the local business but will not allow any person to speak to me and my family like that. We got up and walked out. This is somewhere I enjoyed but will never return to because of this one employee. A note to management, listen and pay attention to how your staff treats your customers. Customer service is key in every business and this one employee will cost you a lot of customers. I would assume she is family to someone and thinks it's okay to be rude and disrespectful to paying customers. This is never okay.

I honestly believe the place is racist I stood at bar 20 min an it wasnt that busy an not once did any staff say a word to me but everyone around me got helped of course they were a different nationality it really upset me I love every color

I am a creature of habit and go there often in the afternoons for a few beers.As of late it seems to me that the beer is on the verge of fifty degrees on a daily basis .With no end in site..The staff works hard and the problem lies with ownership!! There are plenty of places to drink beer but I like this place and wish they could fix this Glaring issue. 8 months later......All remains the same .....WARM BEER SERVED SLOWLY WITH A BAD ATTITUDE IS A HORRIBLE BUSINESSES MODEL !
