Love the lunch specials here and of course the Thai tea! I've come here with friends and coworkers (larger group) and everyone loved their food. We've also had dinner here and had a great experience.

Fantastic Thai Restaurant! Numerous visits later, I am still working my way through the menu. So far loved everything. Variety, flavor, and portion size and spot on. Cute interior design as well.

Wonderful food. Amazing service and very reasonably priced. A must try! Highly recommend the mango curry and Thai tea with a popsicle.

The restaurant was beautiful, the food was terrific, and the ambiance was a vibe with deep house music playing. They do offer parking to customers, but it’s limited, FYI. We started with the Bang Bang Shrimp & Lemongrass soup. The sauce in the shrimp was 10/10. It wasn’t thick or overpowering. We sat on the covered patio, so it was a bit chill outdoors, but the soup tasted terrific. For entrees, we got the Larb Salmon Salad & Panang Curry style. The salmon bites were juicy & tasty, 10/10. And the Panang curry was delicious. The beef tenderloin was tendered & the sauce was terrific.

Oh yes. You must try this good. I'm a try every Thai kinda girl. My husband and I went for a lunch date. I checked the prices and they have a lunch special. Prices were competitive. The food was sublime. Hubby had "Shrimp Pad Thai", usually my fav. I wanted to try something new I got flat noodles with shrimp. The shrimp is huge like a gulf prawn. Sweet, flavorful, large portions. Just mouth-watering. The "Crab Rangoon" is a must try. It was so delicate, fresh, crispy, order 3 orders, I wish we had. The waiter was spirited, engaging, knowledgeable, cheerful and attentive. It was as if we're we his only patrons. Excellent service. Kudos to the chef. The price us right. Atmosphere...who doesn't love the eateries surrounding the seaside? Long Beach is the place if you live in L.A.

This is THE best Thai restaurant I’ve been to, till date. Tried the following items: 1. Tom Yum Soup 2. Avocado Curry 3. Yellow Curry 4. Spicy Pad Thai 5. Mango Curry Each item here is perfected in a way that one can’t even imagine. It’s so good that my spouse and I don’t mind traveling all the way to LA just to try this restaurant again. Highly recommend this restaurant - it’s a completely different experience and worth every penny. Next time I visit LA, I would try this place again without any doubt.

Full five stars. Mango curry is delightful. Portions are fair and prices are appropriate for a good meal. Business obviously takes pride in the presentation, food quality, and ambiance. Will absolutely be coming back!

As a person who has been to many Tai restaurants throughout the United States Kin Long Beach kitchen,is the best Tai place I have ever had Tai food. The food I not very heavy and not to light and very tasty. For all those who have a sweet tooth, I would recommend the coconut ice cream. The plating is a work of art. And it is served by the enthusiastic staff. With a modern cozy atmosphere. What a fantastic place to have dinner.

Amazing Thai food!! The place is so nice and clean inside. I order the lunch special, which was delicious, I added the bang bang shrimp that was very GOOD!!! I loved the bang bang shrimp, it is a must. The Thai Ice Tea was delicious. Service was great very professional and friendly staff.

Had a great experience! They were very accommodating for us and our jet-lagged toddler! the mango sticky rice was the best I’ve ever had!! And the lychee iced tea was so good!!

Came here on one of these rainy nights we’ve been having in LB the last few weeks after a long weekend 🌧️. The place has changed names more times than I can remember. I tried it once before under previous ownership, but nothing compared to the new atmosphere. It’s definitely a revamped modern design now and has amazing food as well. Perfect location for date-night. Tried the tom kha, salmon curry noodle, and colossal crab meat fried rice. None of these items disappointed at all! The salmon curry noodle may be a new favorite for me! Their thai tea also comes in a nice glass with a thai tea popsickle to match. It melts into the drink as you eat your warm food, then makes for a perfect sweat desert after you finish!

On August 8, we had an amazing dinner at Kin Long Beach. The food that we had are delicious and tasty. The deep fried Bronzini is crispy outside and moist inside. The colossal crab meat rice has a lot of crab meat. Yummy. We also love the pad Thai noodles, as well as the mango sticky rice and Thai iced tea. Service is awesome. We highly recommend this restaurant.

My team and I recently photographed a marriage proposal at Kin Long Beach, and the experience was exceptional from start to finish. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted with a warm smile and directed to the private room our client had reserved (behind double doors to the left upon entering). The staff immediately offered us water and asked if we needed anything. The space was immaculately clean, and when we needed to rearrange some chairs to accommodate the proposal plan, the staff jumped in without hesitation. Every single person we encountered was friendly, attentive, and genuinely service-oriented. To top it all off, our client treated us to dinner, and the food was absolutely exquisite: fresh and flavorful. We arrived expecting to be treated as vendors but were welcomed as guests. We are grateful for the hospitality and look forward to returning. (And she said yes!)

We ordered the Panang Curry, Spicy Pad Thai and Sticky Mango Rice. This food was the best Thai food I have ever had outside of Thailand. The portions are huge so you can share everything. We will definitely be back the next time we are in Long Beach.

Very quick service for our table of 14 - ordered family style and shared many small plates. Thai iced tea with a popsicle is a special treat. Crispy bok choy is very good, try the mango curry, and get the papaya salad. wings were the only miss, just being ok.

I absolutely loved my experience here. You know it's going to be good when a line forms before the restaurant opens. We ordered the drunken noodles, yellow curry, and the tofu with eggplants. Every bite was packed with flavor. The curry was rich and fragrant. The eggplants were lightly sautéed so they were able to soak in the sauce without being mushy. The texture of the drunken noodles was chewy in a good way. The only mistake we made was to not ask for the dishes to be spicier. The presentation of every dish was exquisite, you can tell the chef pays attention to every detail. The staff were incredibly attentive and friendly, making us feel genuinely welcomed from start to finish. Lastly, the beautiful decor brings it all together. Kin is clearly a place to impress! Highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for flavorful Thai dishes in Long Beach, excellent service, and a beautiful dining experience!

I don't know why I didnt go here sooner! The food here is delicious! The ambiance and decor is chic and nice. The service was good. We ordered the Pork Jerk and Wings for appetizers. Both are a must try! For our entres we had Tom Kha Soup with chicken - the flavor of this was amazing, it was sweet, spicy (you can order with your desired level of spice), and creamy from the coconut. I am definitely coming back for this soup alone. We also ordered the pineapple fried rice, which we enjoyed but couldn't finish bc we were already full. Great food! We will be back again!

If you’re looking for a good Thai place in Long Beach, go here! And look.. I get it, they have orange chicken on their menu (to cater to certain ppl who wrongly associate orange chicken with Thai food) but don’t be like Richard over there and order orange chicken at a Thai restaurant expecting it to knock your socks off. Food - we got the Pork Jerky and Wings for appetizers. I would eat these 2 things for my whole meal next time. They were soooo good! The pork jerky marinade was legit Thai and they picked the best part of the pork pieces where it was a little fatty and tender but still had that “Thai” jerky feel. The sauce that came with the jerky was on point and I seriously love purple sticky rice! Wings were perfect blend of sweet and salty and savory. Great fry crunch and meaty wings. The mango curry was a miss for me. It wasn’t bad but it was great. I feel like it had more Indian curry flavor instead of Thai curry flavor. I’d probably go with the panang curry next time instead. The garlic shrimp noodles were good, I just wish it was more saucey. It needed some sauce/moisture. Pad see ew is always a must for me when I eat Thai. This one didn’t disappoint. Love that they keep it authentic and use Chinese broccoli! Service - they ran out of mango sticky rice but were sweet about it even with tables upset with them. Service was good, food was quick and they made sure we had our drinks full. Very nice servers. Parking - free small little parking lot. I can see it getting crowded when busy but we were able to find 2 spaces very easily. Love free parking!

Service was fast and friendly! Everything looked great on the menu, but I got the Chicken Pad Thai and New Paradise cocktail. Honestly really good and decent portions for a reasonable price. Modern and updated decor. This would be a great casual date spot or somewhere for a quick bite at the bar.

Review for Celiacs / Gluten free: GREAT food and very gluten free friendly. The menu clearly labels which items are gluten free. Certain dishes not labeled GF can be modified upon request. The waiter was knowledgeable about celiacs and confirmed the kitchen can take steps to avoid contamination (gloves/tool swap). Fryer is not dedicated GF. And the food was delicious! I had the Tom Yum (extra spicy) and the colossal crab meat Pad Thai. The crab meat was succulently sweet and big chunks of meat. The Tom Yum had so much seafood in it. Big scallops and big muscles. The spice level was perfect. Very hot and not excruciating. My sister ordered the Papaya Salad (delicious) and the spicy pad Thai (also delicious). I am very sensitive celiac and I felt fine afterward. The Thai iced tea also comes with a frozen Thai Tea popsicle sticking out of it.

Hubby and I drove from Riverside to have dinner for Valentine's Day. Traffic caused us to get there later than expected but the owner sat us and made sure we were great. Food excellent. Calamari with that sauce. Chefs kiss. Colossal crab fried rice. Yellow curry! Thai tea amazing. The popsicle!!! Vibe vintage. Service awesome. We will return. There's other things to try.

We were very happy to come across this place and try new food in long Beach. They have a great lunch special so we decided to have a bit of everything that sounded good, good thing for me they had pictures to help in deciding what to pick. Everything came out hot and smelling delicious. We will be back and try other items on the menu. I did recommend trying the ice tea special, its fun to try once. Left very satisfied and happy. They have their own parking lot, but I'm sure it get crowded during dinner hours. Make sure you come hungry , because you're going to want to try everything on the menu. The work staff was on point and to help with any requests we had and to explain what some of the items we order were like. This is a little gem that should be shared with friends and family. Thank you for a wonderful lunch !

This is one of those rare spots that completely lives up to the hype. The crab fried rice is easily the best I’ve had anywhere in LA/OC. They aren't stingy with the crab, it's perfectly seasoned, and not greasy. Their pad Thai is just as good/it’s the closest I’ve come to the flavors I remember from my trips to Thailand. Prices are more than reasonable given the quality, which probably explains why it’s always busy. The only downside is the outdoor seating...it can get hot and humid, so if you have the option, definitely choose an inside table. Overall, Kin is absolutely worth the the wait, and it’s become my go-to for authentic Thai in this area.

I was in town visiting and my friend suggested this restaurant. It’s top notch. I was really impressive with the customer service and the food. The food is made to order. Fresh and not over cooked. I had the fried rice and the coconut soup and they both were amazing. Probably one of the best I’ve had among Thai restaurants. Outstanding meal and will definitely return. Met coworkers here for lunch and I can see why it is on their weekly rotation. The menu has a wide variety of traditional s d unique items, they have a great lunch special, and colorful photos of many of the dishes. Once we ordered, the food arrived quickly which is always nice for a working lunch. All the dishes were vibrant, flavorful and exactly the spice level requested. Taking our allergies into account, they offered alternatives to some dishes and there were no issues.

Best Thai food that I had. My twin sister, her husband, his sister and myself came on a Sunday night. We got several dishes to share amongst each other and I was satisfied. We got crab rangoons, orange chicken, fried rice, chow mein, and garlic broccoli (with beef). So good!

Can't wait to come back. That's how good this restaurant is. Service was amazingly fast. When served, our dishes looked nice and the food had a delicious aroma. Definitely want to keep trying out the rest of their food on their menu. Not only did they have a nice interior decor, but they also had a unique Thai tea because of its presentation. Note: parking is not the best. Might want to find parking space near by if the small parking lot is full.

I've been in Long Beach a long time and I believe this is the best Thai food in Long Beach or any neighboring city. The food is unbelievably tasty. You cannot go wrong with any of the soups, noodle dishes, or curries. I've also had the papaya salad which is more flavorful than other restaurants. Honestly, there has not been a dish here that I didn't think was amazing. Highly recommend.

Pretty decent Thai food at a reasonable price. The money bags were killer but the drunken noodles fell flat for me in terms of flavor and quantity of meat. I also ordered the lychee tea which was way too sweet. That being said the server was extremely nice and even offered to bring me some extra tea to add to the drink to dilute the sweetness.

Ordered Togo from this place and it was pretty good. The portions are fair for the price and pretty good in taste also. The pad Thai with crab portion was surprisingly really decent. One of the soups we ordered was really good. 👍 it’s a must come back spot to try more dishes and to really know that’s it about.

The portions were quite large for the main entrees. I really enjoyed the crispy bok choy and calamari here. Thai teas were fun to drink since you got a little thai tea popsicle to go with it. Overall, a pleasant spot.

I recently visited this restaurant and had a great experience overall. I ordered the Tom Yum soup, which was absolutely delicious - flavorful, aromatic, and perfectly balanced. I also tried the Thai tea, which was just okay, a bit more on the average side. For the main dish, I had the spicy Pad Thai. It was a little rich for my taste, but still tasty and satisfying. What really stood out to me, beyond the food, was the staff. Everyone was incredibly kind, attentive, and helpful, which made the meal feel even more enjoyable. The interior of the restaurant is also worth mentioning - it’s playfully and thoughtfully decorated, creating a friendly and welcoming vibe. Overall, I’d recommend it for the food and especially for the atmosphere and service.

I really enjoyed the crispy bok choy! The avocado rolls were like a salad wrap. My children really liked the popsicles and Thai iced tea of course. The lychee iced tea was refreshing not too sweet. Only thing I would change is to tell them to go easy on the charring of the meat, the crab fried rice tasted a bit burnt, however the charring on the shrimp in the shrimp fried rice tasted amazing though, the shimp are big and a good portion size. Nonetheless it was a great place and I will definitely return.

The inside is sooo much better than the outside (area). This is a date spot for sure. Set up for couples with mostly 2 person tables with some family tables. They get the good to you quick so you leave fast. It's still a really good experience. The food was better than average but not top notch. I ordered the nutty chicken, ordered with top level spice (yes you can choose, I love that), breaded chicken in a spicy chili sauce with cashews. It was pretty good. The flavors were plenty but the chicken part, just wasn't top quality, a little chewy. 7.7/10. She ordered the chicken pad see ew. The chicken wasn't flavored well, she asked for my sauce to put on her noodles for flavor. 6.4/10. Spring rolls were regular spring rolls. Spent $48. The staff was nice, the location was very clean, modern and updated. I would go back.

Pretty mid in my opinion considering the prices. The servers were friendly, though.

The quality of the food was inconsistent. The Thai coconut soup was satisfactory, but the tofu with eggplant was salty and tasted primarily of soy sauce. The salmon noodle dish was very good, with soft and smooth noodles. However, none of the entrees came with rice, which is unusual for an Asian restaurant. As a result, the food was quite salty on its own, prompting us to order rice. Unfortunately, the rice was dry, and we were charged an excessive $2.95 for a small portion and an additional $5.95 for a medium portion. This unexpected expense was disappointing and left us feeling dissatisfied with the overall dining experience. Consequently, we do not plan to return to this establishment due to their policy of charging for rice.

B

Bummer, Thai restaurant and no fresh Thai chili, or in fish sauce. Spice rack with pickled jalapeños. This makes sense, my pad woon sen didn’t seem to be made in the usual way. Seems all ingredients were prepared separately, didn’t have that cohesion of fragrance when cooked in the high temp of oil and soy sauce aroma. My kiddo ordered the curry salmon. It was good but I didn’t think the noodle went with it and salmon was perfectly seared but a bit too done for me. Note on my rating, sharing this as I believe some may assume a 3-star review indicates a mediocre experience. 5 stars: Exceptional! Outstanding food, service, and/or experience—well worth traveling for. (For example, we often drive from San Antonio to Austin just for Uchi.) 4 stars: Surpasses expectations in terms of food, service, and/or ambiance. 3 stars: Solidly good or meets expectations. I would revisit any place rated 3 stars or higher. 2 stars: Falls below acceptable standards for food or service. lol 1 star: Best to avoid.

I stopped by Kin Restaurant in Long Beach for some Thai food. I hadn’t been here in a long time, so I decided to give it another visit. The restaurant is clean, has nice decor, and offers an amazing atmosphere. We were seated fairly quickly, but unfortunately, after being seated it took almost 10 minutes for our server to come back to offer drinks or check if we were ready to order. What made it more frustrating was that about five minutes after we were seated, the table across from us was seated and had their order taken almost immediately. Once we were finally helped, we ordered: Pad Woon Sen (glass noodles with chicken, bok choy, carrot, white onion, green onion, mushroom, and egg — I added shrimp) Nutty Chicken (crispy chicken with cashew nuts, bell peppers, onions, and dried chili in a roasted chili sauce) Avocado Roll (avocado, spring mix, basil leaves, and cucumber wrapped in rice paper; vegetarian and gluten-free) The Pad Woon Sen was good overall, but it would have been better if the shrimp and chicken were seasoned the same way as the rest of the dish. The Nutty Chicken was very good — well seasoned and full of flavor. My favorite item of the meal was the Avocado Rolls. Simple, fresh, and full of flavor — absolutely delicious. Despite the slow start with service, the food itself was solid, and I’d still consider coming back, especially for the Avocado Rolls.

Had this restaurant on my hit list for a while since it popped up on my IG feed. Also, a friend recommended it. It's a 30 minutes drive from my home. Lucky they have a small private parking lot as parking is a bit challenging in that area. When we arrived the parking mostly full but lucky found one last available spot. We were excited to try the food and also a bit hungry. We arrived at 3:45pmas we were trying to get a super early dinner to beat the crowd and also to go to the beach afterwards to enjoy the day and watch the sunset. There were many people waiting in the parking lot which we found a bit unusual. Then when we walked to the entrance we saw a hand written sign that said they will reopen at 5:30pm. It looked like it originally said 5:00pm but over written to 5:30pm We decided to wait a bit since we were already there. There's no outside seating so we just sat in the car. While waiting, we saw so many people come and leave once they realized that the restaurant wasn't open. They lost so many customers. We tried waiting but the area was too hot. So after an hour of waiting we decided to take our business elsewhere that's open. There are lots of restaurants in the area that are open. It seems like they open in the morning then close midday then reopen later in the afternoon. I understand a few Asian restaurants do that but at least they list their operating hours online out at the entrance. We left very disappointed...very let down. The restaurant looks like it has plenty of indoor and covered patio seating. There were guests inside eating. I guess they arrived before they closed midday. They need to correct their operating hours online! I might considered returning if they address their hours of operations as I'll not drive again just to find them closed.

Food was good. Highly recommend the curry. Service was pretty bad. My dish arrived but after 10 minutes we asked where my wife’s dish was. They said it’s coming and then avoided us for another 20 minutes until it finally came out. They would make eye contact and actually avoid us. I understand if you forgot to ring it in but communicate that. I was served my dish as the table next to us was order. They all received their mains before my wife. Crazy.

I've been a big fan of this place since it opened... but had a bad experience at lunch today... in addition to our drinks and appetizers, we ordered a Pad Thai Lunch Special and a Red Curry Lunch Special... the server took our order and even read it back to us correctly. Instead of our lunch specials, we were brought a large sized Red Curry a la carte, and an order of fried rice... very confused, we inquired with the server and were told she brought us this instead because she thought it would suit us better then what we intentionally ordered... not wanting to be difficult, I accepted the large bowl of curry. The person I was with sent the random fried rice back and waited awkwardly for their pad thai lunch special to arrive while i sat with a giant bowl of curry minus sides... the food and service has always been great here, but the girl working today totally messed up our order, charged me for a higher priced ala carte item rather than what I ordered, and not only gave us bad service but didnt offer any apologies or corrections.. very disappointed by today's experience.
