Nico's Restaurant

Visited Nico's and had a perfect dining experience this weekend. The door was open and welcoming, we were well received as walk-ins on a Sunday evening around 5pm. and offered well timed (and well made) cocktails. Every drink and dish was brought to our table with a smile all the way through coffee and dessert. Thanks especially to our waitress and host for doing an excellent job. On the more expensive side for a casual date night, but one gets what one pays for. Can't wait to return!

This place is another one I added to my "must visit again" list. Nico's has some amazingly delicious food. One of the items we got was the Crispy Calamari and OMG, I have never had it better anywhere else. Their "Braised Short Rib Pizza".... blown away! This place is cozy, comfortable and the service was just top-notch! In fact, we tipped almost double what we normally tip, which is quite a bit.... that's how impressed we were. Nico's is a MUST GO (in all caps).

This restaurant has recently been remodeled and it looks fantastic! We have had the pleasure to frequently eat dinner here. They have a great wine selection and the bartenders are fabulous in making specialty drinks. Our favorite dishes are the pork chop, rigatoni & filet mignon. It is an inviting trendy and upscale environment where the service is fantastic. We have had the pleasure of being served by Tracy behind the bar and Amanda as our waitress. First class all the way. If you have not been here then you are missing out. Great place, people and fantastic food. Nico's Restaurant is one of the best in all of Long Beach.

Excellent restaurant. Wonderful food, attentive but not preening staff. Great for a romantic dinner for 2. Eat upstairs. Small and intimate room for small and intimate dinners. Outstanding bar service. Cannot say enough good things about this place.

My wife and I have only been to this place twice, but I will most certainly go back. On our last visit we met George. The owner, what a Great individual. He took the time to visit with us for over an hour. We had a Wonderful conversation about life's adventures and falls. Love this place. The food is awesome.

The best of Naples! The food is always great and you can pick anything off the menu and enjoy it. The service is top notch and the atmosphere is the best of LB. Lots of new restaurants open and when the novelty wears off, everyone is back at Nico's. A slighter older and swankier crowd with money to spend.

Booked a private party near the wine cellar and it was great. We had two dedicated servers who were wonderful and can't wait to go back. Wish I lived closer to this bar & restaurant!

I've heard the saying "steak so tender you could cut it with a fork" but thought it was just a saying. You will be hard-pressed to find a better meal! Before I even thought about taking photos we had already eaten everything!

This place was great. I had a few drinks and a ribeye sandwich wish was fantastic. The ambience was nice and quiet. I'm definitely coming back

This place was so delicious. The food here was so good. The bourbon pecan pie, the bread pudding, the lamb chops. The sides this place was so good. It's has a very old feel to it. And yes it's pricey but it's worth it. In the end you will leave there full. You will leave there. Having enjoyed your meal and you would want to go back

The service was prompt so we started ordering our appetizers and entre. My girlfriend and I ordered an amazing burrata salad and split the halibut dish. Both were delicious and presented beautifully. Just a great restaurant for a date with a cozy, elegant feel to this restaurant. It's a bit on the pricier side, but makes up for it with the quality and service. Highly recommend!

Delicious demi glaze but you can still taste the meat. Just like butter!! Service and atmosphere was friendly and on point. My new favorite place to wine and fine dine!!

Such a great spot to visit on Naples Island. The food here is tasty & fantastic! Prices are low for the quality of food you are served here. Love the staff. The steaks & Bolognese pasta dishes are my favorite. You have to try the lamb lollipops & pork chop. The bar is lively and the drinks are delicious. Great selection of tequilas. The service was great. Loved the knowledge our server has doe us on drinks and food. The atmosphere is very romantic if you go before 9pm. After that music get loud and it becomes very loungey. Which is not a bad thing. Loved their selection of wines

Nice neighborhood place, intimate. Sliders were just ok. The Brussels sprouts were very good. I also liked the blood orange margarita.

The mashed potatoes felt silky with a right hint of garlic and veggies were delicious. The lobster tail with butter was excellent. Finished it with a crème brûlée and a cappuccino 😋👌

Ok I finally tried this place out and WOW. The food is amazing. The chef cooked everything perfectly. The only thing I would say they should improve on is the floor staff. The waitress was socially awkward, we rarely saw her as our cups sat empty, we had more interaction with the food runners than our own waitress. Other than that the food is BOMB

Our Tomahawk Steak Club went here to try their $98 tomahawk. It was very good with a somewhat heavy sauce, which was different than our top rated Tomahawk at LKSD. Price wise, this is a value, but I think we were all in agreement that it was worth paying the premium for the LKSD Tomahawk

Food was great. But really hard to find parking.

Nico’s was one of the few places open, so we decided to give it a try. We ordered the chicken and found it to be mediocre, especially considering the high price. The mussels were also just average. However, the bread pudding for dessert was truly incredible. The establishment has an above casual ambiance, and the service provided was impeccable. Despite that, considering the the food and its pricing, I don’t think I would return. I’ve had much better food for a lower price elsewhere. Overall, while the service was commendable, the lackluster dishes and high prices leave much to be desired.

Two of my friends and I had dinner there last night and was very disappointed in the entre which was the Tomahawk Prime Rib. The meat was fatty, chewy and had no flavor for an expensive item on their menu. The vegetables that came with it were cold, especially the mashed potatoes! The salads were ok. We complain to the waitress, not her fault, and was sent a dessert! Did enjoy our nice bottle of wine but that was the highlight of the dinning experience. I don't mind paying for expensive food if it is good but not this time.

In summary, overcooked and under seasoned. We came for dinner. Steak tartar was fine but under seasoned. Entrees were the real disappointment though. Seafood risotto was just saffron rice with fish broth. Very fishy. Shrimp and scallops were severely overcooked and rubbery. The special pasta was carbonara but there was no pepper. The prawns were overcooked so consistent with the risotto. Dessert was their specialty house made cinnamon bun bread pudding. It was very taste but dense. It's clear the bread pudding had sat and collapsed. If all of that plus drinks had not cost over $200, this might be a 3*. But seeing these quality ingredients handled so poorly is a real disappointment.

Food & drinks were decent, ambience: dark restaurant with dim lights. The one star review is due to the owner and the the bartender, Jaden R. (tall, goofy-looking white boy), who felt so entitled to my money that after I left, decided to commit credit card fraud and add a $20 tip for himself. A few days after I’d been there, I was looking at my credit card statement & noticed this discrepancy. I called the restaurant, explained that I wanted to speak to the owner/manager about apparent fraud on my credit card. The hostess, Fiona put me on hold only to come back to say that the owner, George, had “stepped out.” She took my contact info & I gave her the info from the receipt. She said she’d “look into it” & look through their receipts and George would call me back ASAP. Well, never heard back from George or Fiona so I guess the owner doesn’t care about his employees stealing from customers. The food and drinks are pricey for the quality and service. Don’t go here. But if you do, pay cash or take a pic of your receipt after you’ve signed but before you leave. I already contacted my credit card to report this fraud. Hope this business sinks ❤️
