Opinions de The Attic Long Beach
This place is an absolute gem. We arrived and were seated immediately. Our server was super attentive, gave us some great recommendations from the menu, and ensured that our entire dining experience was top notch. I wish I could remember his name because he really did a fantastic job. For our appetizer, we ordered the St. Louis Cut Ribs. We devoured them so fast, and forgot to take a photo. Even our superbly picky sixteen year old loved them! Absolutely delicious. Of course we had to try the Mac & Cheetos too. It was everything you could ask for when it comes to ultimate comfort food. Cheesy deliciousness! Finally was the Wild Mushroom Bolognese. The mushroom flavor really comes in pleasantly at the end of the bite. Just fantastic! I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. The staff, food, and atmosphere are all exquisite! Anytime we are in the Long Beach area, we’ll make it a point to visit!
I've been to this restaurant several times, I love their food here. There's something to be said about a restaurant's food/menu when you get a different dish every time and it's a home run. No exaggeration, I have not had a bad dish here over the years. I took some friends here (their first time), and they were impressed with the food. They actually could not decide on what to order because everything sounded great! Needless to say they want to come back to try the rest of the menu. I also liked their mocktail selection, well-crafted, and it was not just a bunch of random juices put together. Definitely get a reservation, especially on weekends. This place gets packed (for good reason). Warmer weather is coming up, so the outdoor patio is a lovely space to enjoy brunch!
This restaurant was referred to us byy nephew. We were in the Long Beach area on vacyand wanted a good brunch. The food was amazing the wait staff was professional, attentive, friendly. We talked to a couple that was sitting next to us. It was their first time visiting the restaurant as well and they raved about how good their food was as well. The Sy.Louid style ribs was full of flavor and filling. We shared the chicken and waffles also very good. If aim ever back in the area this spot is a must have.
Wow! I just had their burger for the first time after seeing the food scene article! It’s so good! I have traveled all over the country and had amazing burgers especially in Texas. But none have compared to this. My boy friend and I ordered another to share cause it was so good
For more than a few years I had been wanting to give this place a try, today we finally made it happen. Late lunch at 2:30pm, my guest ordered the reliable cheese burger with fries and I decided to go for what seemed like the most unusual dish, their Shakshuka Stew. Wow, the burger was great, but the Stew is this kind of satisfying meal where you felt like you also got a B-12 shot. Great flavor and very satisfying. I look forward to going back as soon as I have a chance. We were there in a not busy zone, so great service was expected and delivered. Thank you, and high compliments to the Chef👍
Amazing! Great service, people are really the best over there! Atmosphere is nice, I see the love that put in the place. I stopped on Saturday for mini bites party with my fam, we were pleasantly surprised that they have Happy Hour daily and tried Mac and cheese, burgers, and the best donuts (!!!) Everything is amazing! Drink menu is good, we had sparkling Californian, AC/DC, espresso martini and whiskey. I’ll be back! P.S. they saved my purse! 😂🙏
This was my second visit. Dined on the patio were the louvers moved with the change of the suns direction. Nice ambiance allowing us to take in the neighborhood good vibes of people walking and visiting the local shops after dining. The waiters and staff worked well as a team. The rice breakfast bowl is one of my favorite and didn't miss out on getting a bloody mary. Looking forward to my next visit.
This spot is such a gem! Staff is always so friendly and they go above and beyond in service. Notably, Fernando and Nathaniel have consistently provided excellent service! The food is delicious, the happy hour specials are top tier, and the menu is fun with unique offerings. Pictured is my latest visit with their “girl dinner”. On my latest trip, I was chilly and they even had the softest coziest blanket for me! Seriously, I can’t say enough good things about The Attic!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The Attic is phenomenal! The food is bursting with flavor and truly memorable. The gumbo is absolutely five-star, perfectly seasoned and comforting. The AC/DC cocktail was spot on, and the banana pudding dessert was the perfect sweet finish. Everything exceeded expectations. I’ll 100% be returning!
This place is an incredible restaurant! 🍴 The Attic serves an incredible selection of unbelievably delicious 🤤 dishes 🍽️ - definitely get the Bread 🍞 with Pimento 🌶️ Cheese 🧀, the Cornbread 🌽 with Butter 🧈 and Honey 🍯 (probably the best cornbread I ever had), Mac & Cheetos 🍝, and Spring 🌱 Pea 🫛 Salad! 🥗 The place is nicely decorated 🛋️, the ambience 🎶 is great, service is professional and quick ⏲️, and the staff 👨🍳 is super friendly and helpful! I wish I knew about this place earlier and could come here more often!
Wow today was honestly one of the best breakfasts that I’ve had all year. I drove down from West LA specifically for this location and feel it was more than worth the drive. This breakfast restaurant is a south eastern fusion and is honestly terrific. I enjoyed breakfast so much that I want to come for dinner. I would not classify it as a diner, more of an elevated breakfast restaurant. Inside is quite large and they have indoor and outdoor seating. They have a small free parking lot in the back otherwise neighborhood parking is pretty easy to find. The menu is not very large, but it has a lot of great options on it. They have some unique takes on some classic dishes and it was refreshing to try something new. Our server was really polite and everything that we ordered arrived pretty fast. To start I ordered a Tres Leche Latte and thought it was fantastic. It was the perfect level of sweetness and had a great flavor. For my meal I chose the Up Country Benedict which was extremely unique because one of them was shrimp and grits, and the other was a smoked pork croquette that tasted like a crab cake. It was the first time I’ve ever had a shrimp Benedict and I honestly loved it because the shrimp was marinated and cooked, and it just had great flavor. Finally for dessert we finished off with the Beignets and really enjoyed them. They are basically oval shaped not the traditional square shaped, but they serve it with the most amazing strawberry jam on the side. You can tell it’s homemade. We also ordered Biscuits for the table and I thought they were some of the best buttermilk biscuits that I’ve had in a very long time. I would go here specifically for those biscuits alone. Overall, a fantastic meal and I will definitely be back soon even though I don’t live in the area.
This restaurant is a nice and cozy restaurant. Everyone that works there was so nice so sweet. Even though it’s a restaurant it still gives a home vibe and very relaxing. The Food was delicious. Everyone at the table enjoyed each dish. The chicken was juicy and easy to cut. The sangria could’ve been a little stronger, but it did taste good. I will return.
We found The Attic while searching for the best breakfast spots in Long Beach. It wasn’t at the very top of the list, but with thousands of positive reviews, we decided to give it a shot—and we’re so glad we did. Located in a charming neighborhood with local shops and a great dive bar (Reno Room—definitely worth a visit after brunch), The Attic has a modern, welcoming vibe. There’s plenty of outdoor seating, a large open-air bar area, and indoor dining as well. The menu is packed with tempting options. We ordered the Chicken and Waffles and the BEC—both were absolutely delicious. The real standout, though, was the biscuits with jam and butter. Honestly, they might be the best biscuits I’ve ever had—crispy on the outside, flaky on the inside, full of flavor, and not at all dry. To top it off, the mimosas were only $4 each and poured generously with champagne. Service was excellent: attentive, friendly, and fast. I’ll definitely be back the next time I’m in Long Beach.
The cuisine was fantastic. This banana bread treat that my wife got was delicious. I took three sixteen-year-old males who placed a large meal order. They order macaroni, which is topped with Cheetos and contains shredded ribs. Along with these fantastic garlic fries, the boys also ordered a large bacon burger, which was wonderful. I also order rice and gumbo there. It was also tasteful. The manager gave me a free cap and my family some free shirts when we had the opportunity to meet him. Since it was our first time at the restaurant, our server was excellent and patient while going over the entire menu. Whenever we come back to Long Beach, we will eat here again.
This is one of Long Beach favorites and I have not tried it for the longest... I finally went to one of their Happy Hours! The great thing is that they have Happy Hour every day, even on the weekend. Their drinks especially the Espresso Martini are great and even better with happy hour prices! We tried the fries which are thin and crispy. They got spacious bar, indoor, and outdoor seating.

Pretty good overall but the “chef sauce” on the chicken sandwich turned out to be ketchup. The espresso martinis were good. The mac and cheese was well made, but a bit too heavy.
Really great place! The service was top notch and great happy hour menu! The have a range of very high quality liquor and my friend got this special bourbon too celebrate his bday. Awesome ambiance too - relaxing, slightly upscale, slightly sporty, slightly good for 1:1s! Definitely would go back!!
My friend brought me here during a gap between our classes and told me it was a fan favorite here in LB. Truth be told, I had never heard of this place but I'm glad he brought me. We were able to be seated almost immediately. After a few recommendations, I settled for the chicken and waffles. I wanted to try the Reuben, as the waiter mentioned it is a more popular option but also limited. They had ran out of them by the time we got there. I was disappointed but it just means I will have to come back to try it another day! The chicken and waffles were pretty good though. It was a fair portion too, not too much and not too little. One giant piece of chicken and one medium sized waffle with a side of gravy and hot honey Tabasco. It all tasted really good and the chicken was super tender and crispy. I can't say I was left disappointed with my choice. Our server constantly checked up on us to see how we were doing and constantly brought us glasses of water. I liked this detail. Also the patio seating outside was lovely on a sunny afternoon in Long Beach. Thankfully it was not too hot or cold outside.
Great spot for a weekend brunch. The cheetos mac-and-cheese was amazing get it with the short rib! The restaurant made pasta was very good. My wife and I had split the Benedict with the Grit cake was a really interesting idea and we really liked the shrimp, the pork was a little all over the place taste wise. French toast was huge! We took over half of it. Service was on point. Recommendations were good. Flies. There were lots of flies. They have little fans but you have to ask for them. Overall we loved this place and my wife looks forward to having brunch with her friends soon.

We went on a Sunday around noon. It was very busy but the wait wasn't that long. The staff was friendly and attentive. We started with the mac and cheese with flaming cheetos, which was really good and the best part of the meal! I had biscuits and gravy + 2 eggs. I ordered the eggs over medium/jammy. They came very over easy so I didn't appreciate that. The biscuits were slathered in gravy but still on the drier side. I wish I would've ordered the gravy on the side as it was too much. My husband ordered the burger and enjoyed it.
Good location (love The Library & Cocorenos across the street); street parking is a challenge. Lunch date with my gal. We've had shrimp 'n grits in Nawlins, and love the cheesy grits at The Hangout in Seal Beach. THIS version was unexpectedly creamy, sweet. The highly recommended (by the waiter/server) sizzling rice bowl had a flavorful sauce, 2 eggs on top--wished we had tried the gumbo instead as we don't like rice & eggs that much. Overall, fun fusion food adventure. Well appointed interior & staff.
