I had an amazing time at the Outback! The food tasted incredible and came out quickly, didn’t have to wait too long. The service was excellent as well. My waitress was Megan. She was super friendly and I enjoyed the lively energy she brought to my table. Not only were her conversations so much fun, but she made sure everyone at my table was well taken care of.

We went in for date night. My favorite thing is to get a server who knows the menu and makes really good suggestions. We had, Sid, and he was amazing. My drink stayed filled, we had hot bread, and our meal was perfect. We will be coming back. And thanks for the tam tam dessert suggestion. It was amazing.

I have been going to outback steakhouse for many years. Always enjoyed the seared ahi...prime rib...ribeye...at some point they seemed to go down a notch in quality and service. My wife and I went there for a father's day meal and I found the outback steakhouse I remembered...excellent service from a server by the name of Brian at the Longview Texas location. The seared Ahi was excellent the food was great. The service was very prompt...even while the house was packed...Brian was very helpful and polite. Excellent experience, very happy with the choice we made for a father's day meal. Thank you Brian!!! To clarify the Outback venues that seemed to drop a notch were located in California.

On a tip I went and tried the bloomin fried chicken. It's coated in the bloomin onion batter, and it's delicious. Great service as always.

If you want a amazing steak, drop by Outback. They have "steak house" in their name for a reason! I am a steak Connoisseur and I'm extremely picky. Thank the Lord that they know how to cook a mean steak. I am telling you, when you don't even need steak sauce, it's a darn good steak! I've traveled all over and had very good steaks but this one e just melts in your mouth. I like my steak rare and they cooked it just right. Restaurant was extremely clean, the bathrooms were clean and wheelchair accessible. Service was quick and the wait staff was on fire. We never had to flag down our server, we dropped her a $20 tip for her kind, quick service. I think if you are craving a steak there isn't a better place to go, make a date of it. The atmosphere is perfect.

Went right at opening on Saturday Morning, 11am. Obviously ample seating. Had a very pleasant waitress, great service. Food took a while to get, ordered appetizers the fried Mac N cheese balls, and the bloomin Onion. The onion was slightly overcooked it was very dark. Balls were super rich, so I got some Sriracha on the side, was WAY better. Main course I ordered the sirloin and twisted ribs, with a baked potato, and a Ceasar salad. It was all pretty good. Next time I want to try the filet and lobster. Very solid experience.

Stephan was awesome. He literally went out and changed the oil in my car while we were waiting on our bread. Dan Hays needs to promote this guy. 10stars. Great place great people. You won’t be disappointed.

I passed through this city on my way home. outback has always been economical. The production is average. Often overcooked. This time I ordered prime rib medium rare.overcooked again. Look at the picture. But the waitress today was really nice, enthusiastic and attentive. Her name is Megan. Keep coming and asking me if I need anything. Really thoughtful. I will definitely come back next time I pass by.

I went to the outback steakhouse in Longview Texas off of loop 281, it was a wonderful experience for me and my little boy, we celebrated his 11th birthday there on Halloween. The food was absolutely amazing and the customer service was great, the waiter was very attentive and kind. ( The only con was that they didn't sing Happy Birthday 🥺..) But other than that the atmosphere was very laid back, relaxing, and very family oriented. We had a great time overall, Thanks guys!! 👍👍😎😎

My husband, son, and I decided on Outback tonight over the local K-Pot place and the new sushi buffet because I *thought* that it was going to be better and cheaper. I have never been more wrong. I want to preface this by saying the host, our waitress Kali(?) and our expo Emma(?) were all amazingly spectacular and incredibly kind - this review is, by no means, a reflection on them (and is the ONLY reason this review received an additional star rating). Our service? Great! Our food? Not even remotely worth the $130 we spent on it. We ordered our drinks (a sweet tea for my husband, a strawberry lemonade for my son, and a strawberry Arnold Palmer for me) and they and the bread came quickly. We decided on the Sydney Shrooms for our appetizer and my husband ordered a Caesar salad with his steak, so those came next. The mushrooms BY THEMSELVES were great, however, they were over-fried, over-breaded, and over-seasoned. We corrected this by peeling the breading off of the mushrooms which then made them edible. I don’t really frequent Outback, but when I came before, adding a lobster tail to your meal was $7.99 - it is now $15.49. Our waitress literally put it in and saw that the filet mignon and lobster at $35.99 was the cheapest option to get lobster added to a steak. So that’s what I ordered: filet mignon (medium rare) and lobster, with a loaded baked potato and broccoli. My husband ordered a ribeye (medium rare) and grilled shrimp, with loaded baked potato and the Caesar salad. My son ordered a sirloin (medium) and coconut shrimp with mashed potatoes and ‘seasoned’ rice. None of our steaks came out right - mine was over and both my husband’s and son’s were under. My husband and I wound up switching because rare, bloody steaks don’t bother me. My lobster was great, but their shrimp was not - the grilled shrimp was over-seasoned. The Caesar salad was fine, but I think that there was some form of horseradish in the dressing which was surprising. However, all of the other sides were cold. Both potatoes, the butter wasn’t even melted under the sour cream and cheese. My son said (and my husband confirmed) that the rice “tasted old”. After I saw how much we were charged for our food to be so subpar, we skipped dessert. Again, our waitresses were great - I actually got two drink refills at almost the same time. This was also the first time that I have been to an Outback in seven years after a horrible experience at the Tyler location. The one caveat that I will express is that we went kinda close to closing - like two hours before. So, maybe that caused them to have an off night, but, sadly, it will probably be another long while before I try another Outback again.

NA for Atmosphere, take out. 6oz steaks, 2, were really tough. Baked potatoes were small, paid for two Asparagus sides, were not with order. For $43, probably will not return if we are ever back in Longview, Tx. >After reading this reply from the "owner"? Mixed feelings about this restaurant and our dining experience during this visit. Our waitress was pleasant but disengaged. She was unable to answer our questions & stated that she didn't know and had only been there for 3 weeks. More training for her would be beneficial for her and the customer. Our steaks were seasoned and cooked perfectly. My steak knife was dull & I had to saw through it... The pumpernickel bread was delicious. Other diet soda choices would be welcomed. The restaurant itself was inviting, no wait and very clean. The music was just a little loud to have a pleasant conversation. If my review was helpful, please "like" it.

the really good boneless chops have been replaced with just okay bone in chops and a price increase like most other menu items

ordered lunch curbside. was ready pretty quickly. pickup went well. I ordered bloomin chicken and didn't receive the sauce for it. also received 2 cubes of frozen sour cream for my potato for some reason. had to eat my chicken and potato dry. do better outback. disappointed.

Service from Stephanie & the atomsphere was amazing. The food was subpar at best. Ordered the onion blossom but had to drink water to get the taste out of my mouth it was like greasy old grease. The brussel sprouts were ok in my opinion ask for them without the mayo on top. That would have made them top tier. The Alice spring chicken which I tried several different ways. With jus the chicken before it got to my mouth had a musty aroma, then with the mushroom same thing, then with cheese then cheese bacon then lastly all components together with the honey mustard was the best thing they could have matched with this entree'. Lastly but not least the dessert is the picture you will see below. It was dense and very chocolaty comes cold top layer is like brownie dough middle layer is some form of mousse bottom layer is a cooked brownie then some kind of wafer chocolate cookie on top. My husband and I ate here this evening for Mother’s Day. Staff was looking well dressed and super friendly when we enter. But when we got to the table the booth seat was dirty, and still had the imprint from the bussing tub in it. I asked the host to clean the seat, it was wiped with a wet towel and left for us I guess to dry off with of our clothes. My husband got one of the black napkins and tried to dry off the seats. The napkin dropped to the floor so he left it. Our sever Bryan came over and I saw that the table was dirty I asked him to clean it he looks down on the floor picks up the napkin and wipes the table off. I was like what the what. I told my husband he was so upset but I just laughed it off because I didn’t want to ruin to evening. I put our menu on my seat ready to order the server comes over ask to get the menus goes to the back wall eating and on his cell phone he finally comes back to see if we wanted to order. Food was okay but my husband’s sweet potato was hard and had to be spent back. Filet minion was good, lobster tail super small. When you are spending 170.00 dollars I guess you expect Exceptional and not mediocre. Adding to my review on May 27 I email the contract a week ago about my review and haven’t heard anything back from management.

The worst thing you can do is screw up an order then bring it back when it was rejected. There is a big difference between a boomerang shaped sirloin and a barrel filet minion. I appreciate them comping the steaks but we wanted to a nice, tender steak and this sirloin was a overseasoned and tough.. it'll be a long time before we try this again if at all.

The experience would have been a lot better of the staff would have at least acted like they enjoyed their jobs. We reserved a table that was not ready when we arrived. As soon as we sat down, our waitress was already irritated and did not even try to hide her faces. I honestly didn't think we were that difficult but she acted irritated every time someone asked for anything. We didn't even feel comfortable asking for anyone to sing happy birthday with us. She seen that we started to get irritated by the end of the visit and tried to redeem herself but.🫡

We placed a togo order, waited 37 minutes when staff came out to say “you are the luckiest person because you are getting the last order of ribs”. He said he was giving me an update it’s about to come out. 31 minutes later the order came out. Over an hour and this is the ribs. It wasn’t enough for a full rack.. looks like something left on a dine in order. It’s sick to wonder what really happened.

First of all the host (the older lady) was absolutely sweet. She sat me down but asked the waitress in the area she was taking me to if the waitress was still there. She had already left so she sat me on the side she originally asked the waitress if the other one had already left. Another person got seated after me as I waited for service. The same waitress was sitting with an older lady right before she left. She passed me by a couple of times so I assumed she wasn't my waitress. She went to the person that got seated after me. The host was passing by and I asked her if I had a waitress. Low and behold it was the one that passed me up a couple of times and never even spoke to me. The host was very kind and took my drink and order. Food was brought out, the host checked in again and still no waitress. As I was eating the waitress brought my to go dessert and finally asked if I was good. As I was finishing up and paying my bill, the waitress comes over and starts trying to chit chat, excuse me, I'm leaving what was the point. Oh wait I'm sure for the tip right. The food was good, the host was great but the waitress ruined it all. I won't be returning to this location. I'm not even from here but I figured I would grab a bite before checking into the hotel. I would have ordered a to go meal but the waitress was so horrible, I didn't want to bother her.

This is the worst steakhouse I have ever stepped in. I would never recommend this restaurant even if I had to use the restroom I wouldn't recommend this Outback. Customer Service was horrible. Went to have drinks here with some coworkers. I ordered blossom shrimp, was salty. The waiter brought one small loaf of bread for 3 people. The cook brought our food & I tipped him he was nice & brought a take out plate, extra sauce in which the waiter forgot our request. The waiter was expecting a tip after being tipped by one of my coworkers, I had already tipped the cook that brought our food. I would NOT recommend this Outback.

Absolutely worst service I have ever experienced somewhere. They need a new manager. We were sat by employees who were sitting and eating. They weren’t on the clock or anything but we got ignored most of the night while we watched them get top notch service. Our waiter ignored us to chit chat with them most of the night. I really had trouble tipping her but I didn’t want to be rude. The manager who you’d expect would check on tables came by to say hi.. to the employees.. completely ignoring all other tables. So we couldn’t even complain about the food or service. The food tasted old and dirty. Overall, I think we would have had a better time at McDonald’s. I’d recommend saving your money and going somewhere else.

First of all the pasta sat under the heat lamp too long, crunchy top and rubbery texture. No refills on drinks and bread was a little stale. Definitely won't go back, especially for the amount of money we paid for!!!!

We (me, my husband, and my MIL) came here to celebrate my mother-in-law's birthday tonight. When we were seated, the hostess brought us to the first booth (which had trash and food all underneath the table and stretched out into the walkway), we asked to be seated at a different booth that wasn't dirty, which she did, so that was good. It took probably 5min for bread to be brought out; however, we had no plates, no napkins, and no silverware, so we sat and waited for the waitress to come by to take our drink and appetizer order (probably another 5min or so). It took about 5-10min more before we got our drinks and another 20min before we got our appetizer. After about a total of 15min, we got to order our main meal. We talked and snacked on our appetizer and had a good time, but our teas/sodas ran low and our food was nowhere to be seen (neither was our waitress). After waiting roughly 45min for our order, they brought it out.... INCORRECTLY. My husband's steak was half raw (it was a "medium" steak that ended up being cooked half rare and half blue....) and my MIL got a completely different ordef than what she had asked for. And, though frustrating, there was no one to tell! Our waitress was nowhere in sight and there was no other staff around. We ate what we could of our meal before our waitress finally appeared. We told her that my MIL was missing half of her order and instead of apologizing or trying to make it right in any sort of way, she just turned around without a word and came back several minutes later with a smirk and a sarcastic "sorry," stating that she removed the part of the bill that my MIL never recieved. It was very disappointing. The entire experience. A different birthday supper destination will be picked next year, for sure.

We eat at the restaurant 3-5 times a month, the service is normally great, food is good EXCEPT LAST NIGHT 11/16/2025. My family, 6 adults (40-75 years of age), had reservations for 7PM. Sat on time. 5 ordered the 6 ounce Filet Mignon. Coffee, water, sodas for drinks, just so you know we weren’t drinking. The filets for 4 of us were either overcooked or undercooked depending upon who had what. The filets were SMALLER than a quarter pound hamburger except for 1. My brother ordered the chicken pasta dish, chicken was old and hard as a brick like it had been cooked earlier and sat around, pasta was day old from what he said. My family worked in restaurants thru the years so understand the difference between raw meat and cooked in size BUT no way were these 6 ounce. The service was fairly decent UNTIL it came time to pay. We all prefer to pay for our own meals, EXCEPT this waitress said she couldn’t accept cash and adjust the bill since 4 wanted to pay cash for their meals. She said the only way they accept payment is credit card on that stupid pay machine on the table. We have credit cards but again like to pay our own, since she refused the cash we let my brother pay credit. We are not a cashless society yet that I know of. They weren’t busy so that’s not an excuse for them, maybe 6-8 tables in the restaurant had customers. Didn’t see manager around to discuss this so here it is.

I moved to Longview this year and have not been to the Longview location yet. Today was November 10th. The news said the Outback Steakhouse was offering Veterans meals on the 10th and 11th so I decided to go take my wife and try it out. From the local news: This Veterans Day, several national chains with locations in and near Longview, TX, are offering free meals and discounts to veterans and active-duty military personnel. "Outback Steakhouse provides a free Aussie 3-Course Meal on November 10 and 11" Not so said the staff. Said they can give Vets a 10% discount. Not sure who got it wrong...

I have been wondering if this restaurant had gotten better because it was still in business. So the answer is not it hasn't got any better. I ordered the big ribeye steak. I ordered it cooked medium it came out visually burned! It was white inside not a drop a juice inside. If it was seasoned it must have been burned off. Absolutely no flavor. Waiter would fly by and failed to keep my drink full and the place wasn't very busy. The dining area was clean but everything thing else was not good.

Feathers AND hair?! GROSS!! Ordered via Uber Eats. How does this go unnoticed?! You’re preparing and packaging the food and DONT see this and think it’s ok to sell. To make matters worse, I have to either come pick up a remake or wait for UE to reach out with a resolution.THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE!!

We ate here for a birthday dinner and we were sat by a family of 4 and they were so loud I couldn’t hear my self think. The kids kept talking about poop and nasty things that were so disturbing. Our waitress Ashley was very dull and had zero personality. Will definitely not eat here again. We spent close to 100$ and although the food was alright, the culture of this place was terrible. I’d rather eat anywhere else. I get better service and culture from fast food chicken places.

I’m incredibly disappointed with the lack of accountability and poor management at Outback in Longview. I’ve been a loyal customer and occasionally order the Kookaburra Wings, which I know from experience always come with a reasonable mix of drumsticks and flats, as expected with any standard wing order. This time, however, my entire order consisted of drumsticks only. Rather than call in immediately to complain, I chose to approach it respectfully by asking to speak with a manager to see if, perhaps, they were simply out of flats. The manager assured me they were not, which led me to ask for clarification as to why I received such an unbalanced order. The manager placed me on hold to consult with the cook and returned only to double down and essentially accuse me of lying, stating that “all wings are evenly distributed.” Meanwhile, I have a clear supporting video showing otherwise. As a loyal customer who has supported this location many times, it’s frustrating; especially when an automatic tip is added, to be treated as though my concern wasn’t valid or worth addressing properly. I was willing to show grace, but being blatantly called a liar is where I draw the line. Mistakes happen, but how they are handled matters. This was handled poorly. On a positive note, I want to acknowledge the young lady who brought the order out to curbside. The young lady was kind, professional, and prompt. Unfortunately, that courtesy wasn’t carried through when I spoke with management. Regretfully, Outback Longview has lost my business. I hope they take this feedback as a chance to reflect and improve how they respond to loyal customers with valid concerns.
