Been to many sushi spots around the city after I moved here a few years ago and this place takes the cake with quality and service! I can't do all you can eat often, but this is the only place I'll go.

Their lunch specials are amazing! Ten dollars gets you not only two items of the lunch special menu but soup and salad. It's more than enough too. The portions are a good size and I was full after eating everything. A friend got the three items and wasn't even able to finish it. The three items is 13 dollars but it really is a good deal. Also we sat at the sushi bar part which was neat to see him making all the sushi. Very nice place, clean and very friendly. We stumbled upon this place by mistake as well. So I'm glad we found it, I definitely recommend you to try this place out. Great food options and deals, and great food.

I've been a cook here and I cannot tell you how much care and time they put into the recipes really authentic I've tried lots of sushi but this is my favorite they really care for customers and the quality of food 10/10 all the rolls are so good

My boyfriend & I come here all the time during the day for our little sushi dates. They’re always so nice to us & the waitress knows us as regulars. Haven’t been able to go recently due to all this quarantine stuff, but once we’re able to go out again this is always my first choice, also since it is in walking distance. Absolutely love it! And the California rolls are the best :•)

Friendly service, Delicious food, and peaceful atmosphere. You really get your money's worth from this restaurant. I got the Philly Tempura Roll and a California Roll, this time. 😋 So delicious, I forgot to take a picture before I started to enjoy my lunch.

Discovered this place while doing Postmates. The names of their rolls sounded interesting! Tried and was not disappointed at all! My new favorite sushi spot! Also they have the best baked green muscles 🔥🔥🔥. Will be coming back to this spot often even though I live about 20 miles away.

Always very good, and super fresh. So far the best mid priced sushi spot I've been to. I hit this spot up pretty frequently for lunch and dinner for special events so we can indulge in sake. The unfiltered is my favorite!

Im new to Cypress & saw their happy hour sign so my husband and I went to check it out. I'm a picky eater and mostly stick to the same thing which is baked eel. I ordered the dancing eel roll which had shrimp tempura and let me tell you it was so damn good! I was definitely happy & we will be going again. I didn't get her name but our waitress was on top of things as well.

This is our local sushi go-to spot. They have all my money because my family always wants to eat there.

My boyfriend and I have made it a weekly tradition to come here. The owner is awesome and the employees are friendly and always on top of it. Let’s not forget half off sake when Dodgers play!

My all time favorite Sushi Restaurant....Always fresh ...large menu with basic rolls as well as their own unique rolls .....Before the covid regulations I ate here for lunch 2 plus times a week and dinner once a week .. Sushi chefs are amazing! Love Sean as weve known him years My other favorite chef is late 20s , local graduate from Kennedy high ...ALWAYS smiling and fun energetic personality. Big plus for this place are late hours ..even now for take out only! Can't wait until they open for dine in again!

This local fave never fails to satisfy my random craving for spicy tuna roll.. Always fresh with the perfect amount of heat. Tried the Garlic Albacore salad and was fantastic, if you like garlic.

Seriously... this place never disappoints! Our sushi tonight, even when ordering 30 minutes before closing, was superb! We ordered a Philadelphia Roll, Spicy Tuna Roll, Shrimp Tempura Roll, and Egg Rolls... all spectacular! Honestly... none of that fall apart sloppy stuff. This is high class, 5 star sushi, even late at night! So good! It's not bitter... like over powering vinegar flavor... Just natural flavor. Very fresh tasting. I'm just always pleased by their quality and taste. That's all... order from here... whenever you want!

Amazing place so inviting and welcoming the lady there that served me was so nice she was warm and gave us our order within minutes I love her all my heart. It was perfect. This is not A robot saying this, I was just there yesterday with my mom and my two little brothers.

Yellowtail sashimi -was melt in your mouth succulent. Albacore carpachio- had jalapeno and another spicy seasoning on it. Pretty tasty if you're ok w spicy. Classic combo- good, nothing special. Ordered it for a kid. Mango salmon- loved the ratio of salmon to mango and appreciated that the mango was ripe. This is tuff for me to review. Sushi that is open late in orange county versus a similar offering in Los Angeles is not the same . The quality and price for services in Orange county is difficult to compare because of what is recived in Los Angeles. Let me say it is open late Not the worst sushi nor the best sushi. I worrie about places that are not crazy busy but maybe it is usually busy I was just there when it was slow. Staff was super cool for us arriving very late in the day. Place was clean and well put together better than what is found in Los Angeles Parking is rigth out front Good for date nigth or a group of friends . Easy to notice from traffic Prices seem ok . Had an ok time here

Have been coming here for a while. It's always solid food good quality fish and large portions. However it is a very small place so we only get takeout and it can be inconsistent depending on what you order otherwise I'd give it 5 stars. Go with the Yellow Ranger roll if you like salmon.

I am so sad they took away their Candy Roll and Spicy Tuna Tempura; those were our favorite rolls and we bought a TON from them during the lockdown. The staff don't even know why they're gone. If they bring them back, I'll provide 5 stars. ☹😭💔

The only problem is they have lights above the ceiling fans that get very annoying after 2 mins. Other than that the food was great and quick during late lunch early dinner time.

We ordered nearly every single thing the server recommended on the menu, and it was all regular. Service was good not exceptional, atmosphere was ok. I can't give more than the three stars because they didn't give me a reason to. Maybe the locals like it or something, I don't get it. Seared ahi tuna salad, was alright.

So normally I would have given a 4 or 5 out of 5. But having spent $60 to have one of my sashimi orders (salmon) partially frozen and found a couple of bones in it. And the bones I can understand, but the partially frozen part gets me, and when I called to inform them of the situation I was met with a bland "okay..." Not an "I'm sorry for any inconvenience" or "we apologize".....seems like courtesy is only applicable to dine in situations.

Their food is just okay, normally. However, the other day I got two orders of masago in a to go order. When I got it home and opened it, (about 4 or 5 minutes later) it smelled so fishy and gross that I had to throw it out. Sushi should not smell like that! What a waste of $14.00. 😔

***WATCH OUT!! This restaurant is and it’s manager JAY are a bunch of thieves! I placed a order on Uber eats and forgot something to add. I called the restaurant literally within a min and the employee told me to cancel and reorder since the order has not been made. I contacted the restaurant a few days later and Jay said no problem and contact Uber. I did and they reached out to JAY and he told them the food was already made! JAY flat out lied to me saying he was gonna refund and then lied to Uber that food was made! HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE WHEN I REORDERED WITHIN 3 MIN of first canceled order? TALK ABOUT MONEY HUNGRY!

We ordered about $75 worth of food last night for a family dinner. We got it to go. Ordered two separate orders of California roll. When I got there to pick it up, there was a menu at the front desk. They were not allowing people to dine in, so there was a table right at the entrance where you had to stand. The very young girl told me they were still preparing my sushi and it would be another 5 to 10 minutes. At the bottom of the menu in very bold print it said "2021 SPECIAL. BUY 2 GET ONE FREE SUSHI" So of course, I asked if I could get a free order of sushi for the 2021 Special. I swear.. this is how the exchange pretty much went. She said Oh, no you can't do that. I stared at her. I said Why not? She said Oh, well we can't do that because you already ordered. I said, How many orders did I place over the phone? She said two. So I pointed to the printing and said but it says Buy two get one free, so can I get the free one? She said, Oh, no you can't do that now. I said Why not? She said because you already ordered. I said, Yes but that's the special. She said I know but you had to order it all at the same time. I said, why? She said, Because that's the only way you can get the special. I said, what does it matter? You're still making the sushi. She said I know but you had to order it all at the same time. I said, But why does it matter? She said, Well you just can't do that. I stopped conversing with her because of the frustration of the conversation. I took some stuff out to the car, came back to pick up the rest of it, and then asked her Well, why did you not tell me about the special over the phone when I ordered? You were the person I talked to right? She said Yes. I said Well how come you did not tell me about the special? And she said, Well I thought everybody knew about it already. I'm thinking, why the heck would she think that somebody who is ordering dinneri over the phone think that we would already know about the special? There are about a dozen sushi places within a 5-mile radius of Los alamitos, and there is about 100,000 people that live in that area. I was about to explode, so I did not continue the conversation any further.

My shrimp Tempura roll was falling apart and the shrimp was mushy with no flavor really disappointed spent $27 and I didn’t even want to eat half of it😥

I ordered from this place a few times through postmates. The first time my order was completely wrong. Today, I ordered and they cancelled my order!! WITHOUT MY PERMISSION! I called to ask why, she stated that they charge 0.50 for extra eel sauce. I asked why when I have ordered from there before and was NEVER charged. She had an attitude so I just hung up and decided to leave a review here for everyone to see instead since I the customer service at this place is horrible. I love sushi but I will NEVER order from here again!

She said sure I will do that, she brings the 2 checks then rudely says “owe your paying for hers to”… like no obviously not if I asked for 2 checks. And she put me in a tight spot and I said no just mine and she walked away like she didnt hear and ran both large checks on my card. So unprofessional and malicious the way she did it. The sushi is not great and spend your money somewhere else where they are more polite. She didn’t refill my drink at all until I went out of my way to ask her. Will not come here again and if I’m a paying customer that tips well you should do as the customer wants. Terrible service and can’t believe they have a girl like this working. I’m still mind boggled on this, will be talking to my bank about running the one charge as I clearly asked her. Rude girl and can’t believe she would do that.
