I have been living at water village for about 6 years now and this is my first time coming to this restaurant!! I truly do not know how I have gone 6 years without coming here!! I started off with the calamari, super good, crunchy and fresh! The sauce adds to the flavor that it already has (no needed in my opinion) The gnocchi's plate was super delicious, creamy and tomatoey! Can never go wrong with steak and fries, but their seasoning on the fries are so delicious, as simple as it is, you don't want to miss this!!! I forgot the name of this dessert, I think it's a lava cake with ice cream top but I only got this because the service here was excellent!! I will definitely be back very soon! Great service, great atmosphere and amazing food! Enjoy!
A local friend recommended it and it did not disappoint. Food was good, people actually better. A bright spot for sure.
Reservations definition recommended. Parking is tight and the restaurant is not big. Because the food is VERY GOOD, it's busy. We did have reservations for party of 10. Ordered pizzas, pasta, salads, shared so got a taste of everything . And everything was fantastic. Service excellent. They accommodate a baby with us, didn't need a high chair so don't know if they offer, the parents had a seat/ tray that attached to the table. The restaurant itself is just like the picture , simple, nothing fancy but comfy.
Came for Labor Day lunch. We each had the lunch special that includes soup/salad, a main, and ice cream for dessert. I had the Mushroom lasagna which was very good. I really liked their marinara sauce. My wife had the Spaghetti Nero with Dungeness crab. She loved it. We also really enjoyed our appetizers, the Calamari and the Cauliflower. The calamari was battered and cooked perfectly. The cauliflower was also great. I especially appreciated the addition of capers and golden raisins to the cauliflower that added a touch of sweet and tart. The server was excellent too. The atmosphere was welcoming and comfortable. All-in-all, an excellent experience.
I am not the biggest fan of Italian food but wow the food here was top notch! You’re going heavy on carbs when you eat Italian food but there were definitely some opportunities to finesse your way to a low carb meal if that is your preference. Everything tasted so good and I will definitely be back there! Service was good but I’d love it if it was a bit faster HOWEVER the place was full so I can see why it felt like we were waiting to get the waiters attention at times. Still, no major issues with service. Atmosphere was definitely lively, the place was full of people, it was a little too crammed indoors for my taste, not a major issue though. There is a small parking lot but it was full while we were there so some of us had to find street parking. We were there for peak hours.
Amazing food, great experience, great location. Valet service made parking easy. Our server was very helpful and gave us great recommendations. I think it might have been better for lunch, but I would still highly recommend.
The weekday lunch special at $20 is one of the best value for price lunches. It comes with 3 courses - a choice of salad or soup to start, a regular size entree portion of an array of choices from paninis, pizzas, pastas and a scoop of vanilla gelato for dessert. The food is delicious, the portions are ample, the parking is easy, the ambience is lovely, the service staff are friendly and courteous. I saw on the board they also have nightly and daily specials. I can’t wait to go back and try those as well. One of LA’s best kept secrets!
Nice neighborhood Italian spot. Food was delicious. My daughter had the Penne alla Vodka and I had the Corn Agnolotti. Highly recommend adding the garlic bread to soak up the left over sauce! Only let down was the Spiced Boo-Levardier Sour. Granted I asked for something more adventurous than the Old Fashioned but this just tasted like a mistake. But between the delicious pasta and the attentive staff - it doesn’t deserve taking off a star for that.
This was my first time here and it definitely won't be my last. Loved the decor and service was excellent but the winner was the food. Everything tasted fresh and better than I expected. The Funghi mushroom was an 8th wonder of the world. Perfect!
The spinach lasagna was relatively light but still very yummy. Pizza and the octopus salad were good just as expected. They converted their big parking lot for outdoor dining. Hopefully more plants and decorations will be added to the patio.
The best Italian food I’ve had in America. The appetizers, the main courses, everyone loved everything. We were a group of 16 people and they accommodated every request. Service is awesome, the food is awesome… now I have to go back to LA/Glendale just to visit this place again.
Food was delicious 😋 and the service was superb. It was my first time visiting 👍Everyone was so attentive to our needs. The food was tasty, warm and just right. We had full course meal. Thank you.

Boar fettuccine was the most wonderful dish I have had in a long time. It did not taste gamey and is truly an item I could not recreate at home. The next best dish was the eggplant parm which had a wonderful red sauce and melted cheese. The pizzas were Napolitano style and had a perfect balance in flavors. The sauce was not too acidic nor sweet. The cheese was the right consistency. The crust was thin and soft. I will come back again for the great food. The atmosphere is close to perfect but I would change the music selection. I knew all the songs and didnt match the atmosphere. Wait staff is fine.
We had a couple of different pizzas a d a couple different pastas. All were amazing. Was expensive for Michigan people, but its L.A... service was great. Ate on the patio, but the dining room looked very nice. Spent $325.00 for 4 people and a child.
One of our favorite spots in the city. Everything is great across the board: food, drinks, service. It’s a really solid neighborhood spot that we go to frequently not just because of the food but because of the staff. Everyone is friendly and personable and cares about your experience. Jordan and Jose specifically are always so welcoming and considerate of our family.
This is one of our favorite local restaurants. We eat here at least twice a month. Service is always stellar, friendly, and quick. We never have to wait long for a table without a reservation. And the food, is so consistently excellent it’s our go-to, no hassle dinner spot. You know how sometimes you go to a restaurant often and the quality just varies periodically. Al’Acqua does not have that problem. Consistently excellent menú options, delicious food that is well priced with friendly, professional servers.

I like that they have a spacious patio area and parking. Food came out quickly and service was good. Their pizza and lava cake was delicious.
It was our first experience in an Italian restaurant in LA. The recipe was really original. The pasta was so delicious with a great sauce but a little bit hotter than what I expected. The Lasagna was really tasty too. The cheese balls were a great start with delicious cheese inside. Also, the dessert was really pleasing with pistachios and cream inside. The only downside of this place was its waiters in my opinion. They were a little bit rude and careless for a place like this. That's the reason I gave them 4 stars.
Upon entering All'Acqua, we were warmly greeted by the owner, setting a pleasant tone for the evening. The ambiance was inviting, and we settled in to peruse the menu, ultimately deciding to let the waitress course out our meal. Our culinary journey began with a classic Caesar salad priced at $17.00, setting the stage for what was to come. The Calamari Fritti at $22.00 was a delightful second course, perfectly crispy and flavorful. The highlight of the evening was the third course, the Rigatoni Bolognese featuring a 6-hour simmered beef and pork ragù, topped with Grana Padano cheese, priced at $27.00. The flavors were rich and comforting, a true taste of Italy. For the fourth course, we indulged in the Grilled Prime Skirt Steak, marinated in rosemary and garlic, accompanied by French fries and salsa verde, priced at $44.00. The steak was cooked to perfection, and the accompaniments complemented it beautifully. The Funghi Pizza, featuring a medley of mushrooms, thyme, Fontina, and Scottocenere cheese, priced at $27.00, was a savory delight that pleased the palate. To round off our meal, we enjoyed a decadent Cannoli filled with chocolate chips, crushed pistachios, Nutella, and ricotta cream scented with orange, a sweet ending to a fantastic dining experience. Service at All'Acqua was impeccable, with attentive staff ensuring that our needs were met throughout the evening. The wood-fired pizza added a delightful smoky flavor to the dishes, enhancing our dining experience. However, the restaurant did get quite warm, prompting us to move to the outside patio for a more comfortable dining environment. All'Acqua boasts a full bar and an impressive wine selection, allowing guests to pair their meal with the perfect libation. While the music choice was a bit unexpected with hip tunes playing in the background, it added a modern touch to the traditional setting. In conclusion, All'Acqua offers a warm and inviting atmosphere, delicious Italian cuisine, attentive service, and a diverse selection of beverages. Despite a minor issue with temperature control, the overall dining experience was delightful, making it a place worth visiting for an authentic taste of Italy.

Everything was fine, hospitality was friendly, setting was nice. Easy to grab a seat at 9pm on a Friday. Unfortunately the food didn’t seem the freshest. The Milanese chicken seemed to be out of the bag and fried vs made in house. Side dishes were fine. Bolognese was fine but came out a little cold. Roasted carrots had definitely been sitting around for a while they were very mushy. All of the food came out in 5-10 minutes from ordering, so unlikely anything was made to order. All of this would be fine but the prices are too high for this type of experience.

After coming here several times for years for dinners and lately lunches, my wife brought her friend last week and was so disappointed: both found the dishes very over-salted and the pasta was mushy. Now I hesitate to return.
I want to preface my review with this: if you want to come here for a date night, I would highly recommend. The food is great. The ambiance is charming. The following review is for my birthday celebration I had in March. There is a serious disconnect between their online booking system, whoever manages their social media, and management. I specifically wanted to be seated inside (their outside seating has been converted from their parking lot- not bad but does not match the ambiance and charm of inside) I wanted to book for 6 pm but their online system would only permit me to have a party of 25 inside if the dinner was earlier 5pm so I edited my reservation accordingly. I had been in touch on and off with the person who manages their Instagram and I specifically asked them if they could handle large parties of 20 or more. They said Yes, and I let them know I booked a party of 25 at 5pm so I could have the party inside which their online system let me do to which they replied "Great! See you then!" 3 days before my birthday celebration, I received a call from the Manager and asked me to give him a call back regarding my event. It was here that things took a downward turn. He started by telling my party had to be outdoors because there was no way they could accommodate a party of 25 inside. This was disappointing because I specifically booked my party earlier to have it inside, which their reservation app let me do, which I also confirmed with their Instagram account via DM's. He then asked me if we were ordering a la carte or family style. I replied 'Likely a la carte' to which he replied. 'No, we cannot do à la carte with a party that big. My kitchen would not be able to handle and that it must be family style, like a 'few pizzas and salads' Okay... But if I do not have the option of à la carte... WHY IN THE WORLD DID YOU NOT JUST STATE THAT TO BEGIN WITH?! He also said only ONE check for the entire party. He offered to meet me the Friday before the party to go over the menu options, to which I agreed. I meet this Manager on Friday afternoon before their dinner open. I am thinking he will have some sort of set menu for me for my party or specific suggestions, but he does not. Instead, he hands me the menu to look over (I could have done this online...) I ask how do I order family style when the restaurant isn't optimized for that (except for their pizzas) and was then advised to order multiples of things (was not given recommendation or options for these multiple menu items’ ... and to have that makeshift set menu ready at the start of the party so he could prepare the kitchen. I reiterated there was a disconnect between their online reservations and social media Manager, as I communicated and confirmed to both indoor seating, to which he responded unapologetically that he could not have a party 'that big' inside. I left very sad. Instead of trying to make this a lovely birthday celebration, these conversations were centered around how I needed to make the dinner party as easy as possible for the staff and impressed upon me that my party of 25 was more of a burden to the restaurant and it was on ME to make things easy for them. I would have changed venues, but it was the day before the event and everyone notified, it was too late to change venues. I wanted to cry after I left. I had been so sick for my last two birthdays, so this year I wanted to do something special. I want to be fair, and will state the actual dinner party itself was lovely. The Manager whom I had dealt with was out unexpectedly that night. I was relieved he wasn't there. The Manager who took charge of my birthday was friendly, professional and kind, which I very much appreciated. My Server was great, and so was the staff assisting with the party. I am just sad and disappointed as to how I was treated beforehand, and to come into the restaurant thinking we were a burden. That’s a terrible way to start a celebration, and I hope they reconsider how they handle large parties.
