Excellent and delicious Tacos. Super friendly owners! Simply love it!
Absolutely delicious tacos with very good portion sizes. Would definitely recommend and also come back again.
I can't recommend this place enough. The food was delicious. I had one of their plates with asada, carnitas, and the add beans and rice. They also add tortillas. The plate was substantial, and I had food to bring back home (and I like to eat!) My son had a torta al pastor that he devoured. The service was excellent, the ladies at the counter were not only patient with me (I didn't know about some of the types of meats they had). They took their time to explain without being bothered. The place has a good influx of people, and that is a way I see the place is good! The horchata was also amazing.
This is my favorite taco place at Grand Central Market. The meat is tender and the portions are humongous! I got one carne asada and one carnitas taco for $5 each. The gentleman who served me was fast and friendly with plenty of tables to eat at nearby. Parking is currently $4 for 90 minutes in the lot.
Only a 4.1?!?! I always appreciate places that offers meats at its roots because it really shows the creativity of people that historically did not have a lot. I tried the pig-nose gordita and it was fantastic! You can learn a lot about a country's history with their food. Bravo!!
super delicious flavorful and packed with meat burrito! Would highly recommend and I would definitely come back it was so good. The guy at the counter just kept piling on more and more meat! It honestly doesn't look like much from the storefront inside of grand central market, especially next to another taco place right next door. We had originally come here for one of the iconic breakfast spots but the line was unacceptably long for a hungry girl waiting for breakfast (at around 10am lol). I saw a bunch of construction workers on line at this joint and that signaled to me that this place would have some good food , and the construction workers are always right! For $13, I got a huge burrito stuffed with more meat than I thought would be possible to stuff in a burrito. We're talking no filler here, no beans or rice or veggies which I probably could've requested but there was a bit of a language barrier.
Ana Maria's stall in the heart of the market offers a slice of authenticity that's hard to find elsewhere. Despite a slightly higher price tag, the quality and generous portions make it a worthwhile indulgence. I recently had the pleasure of trying their carne asada sope and gordita, and I must say, they did not disappoint. Ana Maria's commitment to authenticity shines through in every bite. The flavors are bold, the ingredients fresh, and the execution flawless. The carne asada sope was a delightful mix of savory and satisfying. The tender carne asada paired perfectly with the soft yet slightly crispy base of the sope. Topped with beans, crema, and guacamole, each bite offered a symphony of flavors that left me craving more. The gordita, on the other hand, was a revelation. Stuffed with generous portions of carne asada, beans, crema, and guacamole, it was a handheld feast that exceeded my expectations. The combination of textures and flavors was nothing short of divine. However, be warned: this is not a sandwich you can tackle with your hands alone. A fork is definitely required to fully enjoy this culinary masterpiece. While the prices may be a tad higher than other stalls in the market, Ana Maria more than makes up for it with the quality and quantity of their offerings. The portions are indeed killer, ensuring that you'll leave fully satisfied. In conclusion, if you're in search of authentic Mexican cuisine that doesn't compromise on flavor or quality, look no further than Ana Maria's stall. Whether you opt for the sope, gordita, or any other offering on their menu, you're in for a treat that's sure to tantalize your taste buds and leave you craving more. Don't let the price deter you; this is one culinary experience that's well worth every penny.
Visited the Grand Central Market. Family choice were tacos. We ordered Al pastor and beef taco. I had chicken and rice with tomatillo sauce. We all loved our order. The food was flavor and met all our taste buds needs.
Definitely a sharable burrito! 9$. HUGE ass burrito. Could not finish it. Should've gotten the spicey though, the mild had no flavor. Still was a good burrito.

You'll get more meat from tacos than burritos here! Wonderful, quick service. Food is hot and ready.
Definitely the best taco spot at Grand Central Market. The hack is to order two tacos cuz they load tf out of them, and they give you an extra tortilla, so whatever falls off the first two turns into a 3rd taco. $10 and you’re full. Love this place.
Great tacos! Really authentic and the service was great :) Loved my experience there

Jesus the tacos are huge!!! We ordered 3 tacos each thinking they were street sized ones, but not really. They are quite big and super tasty. The only one I didn't like was the asada one. It just tasted weird. Also, the place is located in the glorious Central market, good people watching and decent amount of options to eat and sit. (All pictures taken with Pixel 3 XL)
I needed some comfort food and ordered the carne asada fries. They made the french fries fresh to order and piled it high with carne asada, cheese, cilantro, refried beans, spicy salsa (can choose other options) and some sour cream. The overall taste was good but the carne asada meat was dry. The tamarindo drink was super tasty and refreshing.
The food was good. Quick service. Hard to find a place to sit

Listen, i bought one beef taco and somehow it turned into 3. As in one taco was so loaded with meat that i could make 3 tacos out of it. The guy gave me a total of three tortillas. The carne asada meat looked weird though. It looked less like carne asada more like shredded meat. Best resembled ground beef. The tacos were good. They wernt over the top greasy, but instead tasty. Very simple too, onky meat salsa of your choice and some cilantro and onion. The tortillas they used were the white corn ones that have a bitter after taste. I prefere the yellow corn. I dont think anyone should use the white ones as they taste bland and have that bitter aftertaste. My order was 5 dollars. Not bad. I dont usually buy mexican food because it falls short but this place was good. Exactly how a taco should taste(minus points for the tortilla).

The best deal - $4 for HUGE portions. 1 taco could be a good snack for 2 people or be used for 2 meals/snacks for 1 person especially since they give you an extra tortilla The service is quick and meat is pretty tender. I asked the server what the best meat options were and he suggested beef or pork - I opted for the latter. Unfortunately, I found my Al pastor to be a bit salty which can happen when meat sit under heat lamps - but for the price and quantity, I'd be willing to go back and try his other protein suggestion.
This stall is one of the few in Grand Central Market that opens as early as 8am for the breakfast crowd. Typical Mexican food, reasonable priced, the taco portion was big enough to share between two persons, the pulled pork was nicely cooked and flavorful. The stall is located in the centre, you can't miss it.

With so many different Mexican options in Grand Central Market, it is difficult to choose which one to go to. Ana Maria's is a solid choice. A good option if you are in a hurry since the line moves quickly and the folks behind the counter are helpful if you are unsure what to get. The portions, like most of the other taco stands in GCM, are large and can easily be used for multiple meals or shared among friends. They even give you extra tortillas! I found the al pastor to be a bit dry but I went later in the day post the lunchtime rush. I may go again but with so many other places to try, it might be a while till I'm able to circle back.

My dad ate tacos from here and they were so bad. He was nauseous and the aftermath was terrible.

Worse Tacos I've had in my life! Came here with my son's on Monday, April 15th, we ordered 4 Tacos al pastor and one chile relleno taco, cost $25, I took two bites of the al pastor taco and it tasted funny, like the meat was old, it tasted nothing like al pastor. To be honest idk what kind of meat it was it appeared to have the texture of ground beef, I couldn't eat it so I threw it out, maybe it was leftover meat from the weekend? My boys reviews ...meat is dry and has a weird taste, they didn't feel comfortable eating the taco. The salsas weren't spicy at all we had the green and red, Pace salsa tastes better that says a lot because I'm not a fan of Paste. Taco Bell is better than this. I guess being that I am Mexican I am picky when it comes to Mexican food. Everyone knows if you're going to be selling tacos the secret to good tacos is your salsas, they have to be spicy. Pinches tacos más malos qué me he comido en mi vida. La comida no tiene sazón. Quien sabe qué tipo de carne me dieron, carne vieja. Disappointed! Did not meet my expectations. Portions...they serve you a lot meat, with 3 extra tortillas on the side and the taco had two tortillas but no thank you! They didn't provide napkins so I went up to the stand and I asked the woman if I could please have some napkins, she rolled her eyes at me, your attitude is not needed. Do not recommend. You have so many other options to choose from for good tasting tacos.
