This place is a beautiful restaurant. Highly recommend going in the evening to get the full ambience. It’s beautiful outside even on cold days because they have heaters and lamps to keep you warm. The drinks are fantastic and the food is all tapas style so perfect for small yummy bites while enjoying good drinks. The charred broccoli was to die for! Also, the rose water custard and the vegan chocolate cake are some of the most decadent desserts out there. Come here for date night, with friends, or even to anchor your evening plans.

The patio dining is extensive and beautiful; one of the prettiest outdoor spaces I’ve ever dined in. Eating under large trees and surrounded by bamboo and lights. Photos don’t do this place justice. The food comes in small bites. We had the scallops, octopus, gem salad and broccoli. All was delicious.

This was amazing. Something for everyone! For allergies, they all up front of there any. They have all kinds of options including vegan and gluten free. We had brunch with delicious French Toast, Egg pizza, Shashuka, Egg fries and the Best Cake. Not to mention it drinks, a Scarlett Odyssey, Bacari beer and sparkling rose. All delicious and much appreciated. Everyone cleaned their plates! And to top it off, it's affordable! Shout out to Rob our server, he was helpful, attentive and warm. I felt taken care of. 😀

I enjoyed the food. It was super yummy and flavorful but I personally didn’t like the margarita pizza that much. It’s just personal preference though. The atmosphere was nice and it was a little loud but i didn’t mind. I loved the lighting atmosphere. Waiter was super nice and kept checking on us. I LOVED THE FRIES i recommend that.

Perfect for date or cute evening out. The food is amazing. Upon sitting down, our waitress, Paige was very enthusiastic and gave us a good overview of the menu. The restaurant is tapas style and we had a wide range of dishes and every single one of them was well flavored and prepared excellently. Our personal favorites were the bass, which the fish was tender and the skin was perfectly crispy. I am a personal fan of the pork belly and we loved the lamb hummus too. There’s a 90 minute unlimited drinks, which just includes wines and basic drinks but it was a great time. There isn’t any dish you can go wrong with. There was live music in the evening and the venue is beautiful, decorated with beautiful lights in a dim setting. A cherry on top of the already wonderful evening was the excellent service. Paige was very attentive, efficient, and funny, which made our night.

This restaurant is very eclectic from the decoration to the furniture and the atmosphere. It reminded me of Berkeley in Northern California. The Chi Achilles were really good but on the spicy side. The Shuka was not good and it appeared that there was too much oregano in the mix as well as cumin. The tomatoes were definitely not fresh and straight out of a can. The coffee (latte) was good.

The restaurant is soooo beautiful. They have some amazing outdoor seating. Their drinks are pretty good. Most of their dishes were amazing. But some are just okay. Which is crazy because for the price, I should be in awe with everything. Overall the service was okay. Our og server was great! Halfway through the meal we got a new server and she lowkey just didn’t care as much. Overall this place was fun to try out and it was fun to go with a group.

We went here for our office holiday dinner a few weeks ago so we had a large party, approximately 16 people. The food was excellent. The shawarma tacos, lamb hummus and steak were the favorites. The service was terrible though! Our main server was so rude. She had an attitude and would respond to people with with rude comments like "I only have two arms" and "I'm only one person" if they asked about something they ordered. Which is odd because other servers were bringing stuff to the table. She was just a miserable person and shouldn't have shown up for work that day. We would have given a smaller tip if we could but the gratuity was automatically included because of the size of the party. The atmosphere was pretty cool and had a chill vibe.

Bacari Silverlake is such a cute spot — we sat on the upstairs patio surrounded by trees, which gives the space a tucked-away, almost secret garden feel. Ambiance is calm and quiet, perfect for an easy weeknight dinner and lingering conversation. Food-wise, we ordered a little of everything, and each dish had its own personality: The Little Gem Salad was crisp and bright, the Octopus had an amazing yuzu kick, the Lamb Hummus was creamy and hearty with warm pillowy soft pita on the side. The Sea Bass was pan-seared and buttery with a tangy balance of charred shishitos and a pop of pomegranate molasses. The Glazed Pork Belly was sticky and rich, and the Stuffed Mushrooms came loaded with melty cheese and delicious pesto. Portions are small, so plan on 2–3 plates per person, which is really the fun of it — more variety, more to taste. Service started strong but slipped halfway through — our server kept passing us to help other tables, and my husband had to wave her down several times. Odd, considering it wasn’t even busy on a Tuesday night. Drinks were a mixed bag too: my husband’s Strawberry Fizz Cocktail was refreshing and fruity, while I’m fairly certain my “Spirit Free” SoCal Staple seemed to come with actual spirits. If I were an alcoholic, let’s just say Bacari might be getting a strongly worded letter from my lawyer (kidding… mostly). Still, Bacari Silverlake is one of those neighborhood gems we keep coming back to — shareable small plates, laid-back vibes, and that dreamy patio make it worth it, even if service can be a little hit-or-miss.

I made a reservation here for my birthday and noted it in the reservation. We arrived a few minutes early, used valet, and checked in with the hostess. After waiting about 20 minutes, my boyfriend followed up and was told it would be another 5 minutes. We were starving but still hopeful that, since it was my birthday, we’d be seated at a nice table. When we were finally seated, it was in the walkway right at the entrance. To our left, someone was standing directly behind a chair, so we were basically eye-level with the back of a strangers toosh. The only other view was of people walking in and out, which made me feel like I was missing out on the ambiance of the restaurant. I noticed a small table just above ours and politely asked if we could move, explaining it was my birthday and I was hoping for the full experience and they were so kind and moved us. Our server was wonderful, and we really enjoyed her recommendations. Still, it seemed the restaurant forgot about my birthday which isn’t the biggest deal on its own, but after the wait, the initial seating, and everything else, it was a little disappointing. I was grateful they moved us to a better table, and that definitely helped the experience. I don’t think I’d celebrate another special occasion here, but I would definitely come back next time with a little food in my belly and ready to wait. All in all I enjoyed my time here.

However, I was a bit disappointed by one aspect. When I made the reservation, I noted that we were coming to celebrate my partner’s birthday. I noticed that another table nearby received a small birthday treat and some kind words from the staff. Unfortunately, despite my note, we didn’t receive any kind of acknowledgment — not even a simple “happy birthday” — throughout the entire evening, even after we paid the bill. It was a bit disheartening given the occasion.

We went in 10/18/2025. The food was amazing. However, the service was not so much. The server was nice; however, she seemed to pay more attention to the neighboring 2 tables while kind of avoiding our table (party of 2). We ordered all food and drinks at the second time she came to the table. Before the food arrived at 11:50pm. The server asked if we wanted to order anything else since the kitchen was closing. We declined. Afterwards, they proceeded to seat more customers at the table behind us. (Which was odd, since the kitchen is closing..) A couple of minutes later, the runners brought out 2 of our 3 food items we ordered. We did not see our server for another 15 minutes. She never checked in to see if everything was correct or missing. We had to wave her down to get her attention. We notified her of the missing food item missing. Which were Jidori chicken wings (hence why we gave it more time, in case they needed longer to cook). The server showed us where it was ordered on her device and stated it was delivered. However, she saw from looking at the table that it was never delivered. She offered to have them remade. I just asked for it to be removed from the bill and to receive the check since we were already there for almost 2 hours. In exchange, the server offered a free dessert, which I declined. However, the place was nice. I just wish we had a better first experience. 🥲 I’ll still come back to try again. The Lamb Hummus & Bacari Burger my husband had was great though.

Extremely packed. Small tables , service slow or need more servers. Also there is a cat that live on premises, we didn’t know since it says dog friendly. But our table rolled over because our dog saw the cat roaming around freely! Thankfully nothing fell off. Because of that we rushed our dinner and had to hold our 70lb dog tightly from the cat the ENTIRE time while dog was going nuts because of the cat. We wrapped up in less than an hour. The food was bland. The location and decor is great. Overall just don’t bring your dogs I don’t recommend we spent a terrible evening. NB: do not get rid of the cat, it is sweet that there is one, but you should mention it so people don’t bring their dogs if they will chase them all night. Also it’s very overpriced . 4 mini plates and 2wine: $130 I’d come back but only for drinks tbh

This was the most disappointing meal I’ve had in a long time, which is something. Let me start by saying that the staff is nice and the atmosphere is wonderful, especially for a date night. Only note about the service is that the servers will try to upcharge you with every other sentence that they speak. It’s such a cute restaurant though, especially at night. But ultimately food is what makes a restaurant and the food fell flat in every aspect. We started with the bread and garlic oil. The bread had a decent crust but the oil tasted like absolutely nothing. I actually dipped my finger in there and tasted it by itself to see if the clear liquid in the saucer was water because it was so tasteless. It wasn’t. The oil that comes out of making a simple garlic confit is more flavorful. We got a few plates after this, the salatim which had 3 multi-colored dips that only had the faintest whisper of flavor. The pita was nice and fluffy though, so that’s a plus. Ultimately the salatim was my favorite out of our meal, though try as I might to detect flavor, it didn’t taste like anything at all. Next we got the scallop medallions. It was a decent scallop in terms of size and texture but ultimately had nothing going for it and the carrot parsnip purée that surrounded it really didn’t help. I actually found myself scraping the puree off because I’d rather have the bland scallop by itself without all of the tasteless fuss around it. Lastly we got the ricotta and beet gnocchi. By this point, my partner and I were not expecting anything in the flavor department. This was also bland but had the faintest hint of ricotta taste so my partner liked this best. But again, it tasted very very bland. I didn’t mind my drink, it definitely wasn’t anything special for $18 each. I got the scarlet odyssey. And my partner didn’t like their drink, the Tokyo sunset at all. At the end of our meal, we were mainly just happy that we didn’t order more when we first sat down cause everything was a letdown. I left more impressed that they made everything taste like nothing because that in itself was a major feat. Highly disappointed with this experience. Which is unfortunate because the environment is beautiful.

I definitely expected to be writing a 5 star review. Unfortunately that’s not the case. I will definitely give credit where credit is due. The restaurant is absolutely beautiful! The outdoor garden area was one of the prettiest patios sections I’ve ever dined in. Also the drinks were delicious. Great wine selection, and handcrafted cocktails. My issue is with the service and the food. I had a reservation for 8:30. We didn’t get seated until 9. I asked for a table by one of the many heaters. They said no and gave us blankets. (Lol) I will be blunt and say the food was nothing more than over rated, overpriced- glorified bar food; branded to be high end tapas style dining. Every single dish I ordered minus the charred broccoli completely missed the mark. The lettuce cups were extremely bland- something as simple as lemon juice would’ve made that so much better. Sea bass. Ok but again.. bland. Bacari fries were obviously frozen cheap shoestring fries with the skimpiest amount of sauce and a fried egg thrown on top. They were drier than the Sahara. Bacari burger(what even was that) open faced flavorless and over cooked. I didn’t know ciabatta buns were used for burgers. The Chicken Slider was passable because it was fried chicken on bread… Salmon was cooked great but again.. why so mid?? I really was expecting to be blown away. Nothing stood out. The server was to busy to refill our drinks, the lady I asked for an extra plate scoffed and said “well I was going to the kitchen but I guess now I have to stop and get you a plate”. To which I replied with an awkward silence.. this is just not the place to celebrate someone. This is a place you come to drink and take pretty pictures…
