Boba Sound: an authentic, cute, cozy coffee shop that serves boba drinks, fruity slushees, coffee drinks, and more!! They also have ice cream and taiyaki with a variety of delicious fillings🧋🍨☕️ I personally am not the biggest fan of boba, so I tried out some slushees and coffee drinks AND THEY WERE MIND-BLOWING. I tried watermelon strawberry slushee with lychee jelly, mango pineapple slushee, and passion fruit slushee. I also tried the mocha frapp slushee as well as the coffee shop special: Sound Special. And of course the red bean taiyaki!! ALL of these were so good🥰🥰Unfortunately I forgot to take pictures of them but I’ll do my best to describe them! The watermelon strawberry slushee is my favorite! It’s SO GOOD especially paired with the lychee jelly. These slushees are perfect drinks for a hot summer day! They have a fresh, fruity, tropical taste and it doesn’t have that artificial sugar taste like in other places. The mocha slushee is perfectly mixed, not too bitter and not too sweet! The sound special is a sweet coffee; I personally like this flavor because I have a sweet tooth🥰The red bean taiyaki is SO SOFTT!!!! Well-made and perfect amount of sweetness🤤

This has become a fast new favorite. My partner and I brought our pup here and the staff was so friendly and gave him treats. The flavor options are delicious. I love ordering them super sweet! They also have vegan options which is perfect.

The owners were really nice and helpful for our first time. The boba was super yummy and the food selection was delicious!

I was walking by and I saw their Coin Bread, it reminded me of Batma's Two-face character. Loved it so Kawaii, it's a bread filled with your choice of ingredients. I chose cheese and corn, it was so good crunchy and cheeseie. My drink was amazing if you like Cinnamon and Ginger too good, loved it.

Great Boba and great customer service. I brought my daughters here to try Boba for the first time and they both loved the strawberry and banana Boba smoothies. The drinks were fruity and flavorful and the Boba tasted fresh. Highly recommend.

What can be better than a nice family run business that pays attention to details? Few things really! This little boba shop is pretty cool. An anecdote: I really liked the eye makeup on the young lady that took our order. We ordered Taiyaki. You get two per order and/or two per flavor. We got Nutella, cheese and red bean. They were all very good. The cheese here is a white cream cheese and not a yellow cheese. Two minor issues are: the edges are a little too crispy sometimes and they don't remove the excess around the Taiyaki. A little less than aesthetically pleasing but yummy nevertheless! An anecdote: the chairs have tennis balls on their feet. The store is fun to be in. It's really cute and there are tons of options. Like coin bread. They have pizza Taiyaki. They have all the boba favorites too. Their menu signs are all very cute and colorful. The man behind the counter asked us if we liked the Taiyaki and even brought us cups of nice cold water. I thought that was a very nice detail! It shows pride in what you do and just plain kindness and gratitude. These are the kinds of places that deserve your money! Tons of free parking in this nice little strip mall.

AMAZING! The staff here was so kind and PRESENT! this was not just another transaction, it was an interaction!! They recommended drinks and made sure to check on us and if we liked them! The Taiyaki was amazing! We got red bean, Oreo, smores and Nutella and all I can say is 10/10!!! The boba was also amazing!!! I got a brown sugar milk tea made with coconut milk and the regular milk tea was SHEEEESH, amazing!!! Definitely recommend. My picky husband gave the boba AND the taiyaki a 10/10!!! (We’re here visiting from out of state and really enjoyed this experience)!!!!

This has been my go to boba shop everytime I am in koreatown and it never disappoints! The owners are so friendly and welcoming they make you feel right at home whenever you visit. I get their teas and milk teas which always hit the spot. I personally really like their passionfruit jasmine green tea. They are one of the few places that do taiyakis and it is my favorite place to get them! The picture is of their penny shaped taiyakis with a jalapeño pizza filling which was so good. Definitely should check out when in the area.

Sweet chewy boba with possibly any drink you could think of. Loved their brown sugar milk tea! Tried the coin bread as well and it was sooo good. If you ever want to experience the stretchy cheese, go for it 😆

Good, strong, sweet milk teas. They have taiyaki and coin bread with different fillings (just like the taiyaki). Both the Sound and jasmine milk teas were strong, and the boba were plentiful. Service was pleasant and quick.

This is fruit tea is so delicious. Just decided to branch out instead of going to my usual boba place. But this tea literally hits. I will definitely be back again. The staff are so nice! I even got a free lollipop 😍

As a korean american Ive been craving the pastry that my halmoni used to get me back in Korea and this is the most authentic and delicious one that beats the one in Korea! I was so startled by the taste that I urged my parents to try and they agreed that the batter is really well made. The drinks were great too but definitely on the sweeter side (try the zodiac drinks, thought it was a cute way to try introduce new drink combos). Parking and store: Parking lot is a decent size for it being in ktown. The store is small inside but the atmosphere is so cozy and cute. Service: Im pretty sure the man who was taking my owner was also the owner but he was super friendly. Would go out of his way to make sure customers can find the bathroom and would check in with each of his customers.

Everything about this place. The owner is THE SWEETEST and was dancing when we walked in and offered us some lolipops. The interior is so fun and vibrant and inviting and the boba was out of this world we actually ended up ordering more on Uber eats later. 10000/10 recommend and their signature boba.

First time but definitely not the last. I ordered a regular coffee milk tea with boba and tried one of their zodiac flavor drink specials. The drinks were great. I even got a lollipop while waiting. The place itself doesn't feel like a hangout spot where you can relax and read a book or hang with friends. All good tho.

We were craving some boba after our dinner and came here. I guess it's a pretty new spot. We were a bit disappointed that most drinks are made from powder and syrups instead of real juices and fruit. But it tasted pretty good. Although their brown sugar milk tea is super sweet even with 50% sugar.

My husbands an aries and they have flavors based on your astrological signs, his sign aries flavors were horchata and bannana and he added boba. He seemed to really enjoyed it cause he didnt let me try any of it but its ok i dont like boba that much anyway! The place is small and it was alittle messy but once again he liked his drink so ill end it at that.

He seemed to really enjoyed it cause he didnt let me try any of it but its ok i dont like boba that much anyway! The place is small and it was alittle messy but once again he liked his drink so ill end it at that.

I was a bit disappointed since this place has amazing reviews. I asked for my drink to be 50% sweet and it was still a bit too sugary for half sweet. All the flavors tasted a bit too chemical-ly. The best was the passion fruit/mango green tea refresher with aloe. I don’t think I would come here again. Boba time is a safer choice.
