Nice place with flavorful coffee. They offer a choice of espresso beans, including Ethiopia and Guatemala. The espresso shot comes with water, which is the right way to serve it, though many coffee shops here tend to overlook this. They also have Turkish coffee, which I highly recommend.

Quick service, great coffee! I had the matcha latte. Relaxing environment to just hang out and read or chat with buddies. Easy to get to.

I came to this place through google Maps searching. I usually trust coffee shops that roast themselves. That was the main reason I went here. I like bitter coffee than sour coffee, but the sour pour-over coffee I had here was pretty good. The chocolate croissant served with coffee doesn't disappoint me anywhere. I did not have to worry about parking because I could do street parking for a long time on the street in front of the coffee shop. I saw the Turkish coffee kit for the first time here, and I will try it the next time I visit again.

My new favorite coffee roasters in the Arts District. Highly recommend this over blue bottle and verve. Please give this place a shot and you will not regret it.

The best cafe shop ever! I like to do a cafe shop hunting when traveling. Boxx is the top of top!!! Look at the latte art! How beautiful it is!!! Literally the best!!! I’m taking tasty coffee beans and good memory back to the east coast. I will definitely recommend to others and come back to visit again.

I stopped by this place while exploring the Arts District, and it was such a great choice. The coffee had just the right amount of acidity without feeling too light, and even iced, it was perfectly balanced. Honestly, it’s the first time I’ve had coffee that stayed so flavorful and consistent all the way through. I enjoyed every sip and will definitely be back. Highly recommend!

Very cute and clean cafe at the arts district. Many people come here and work. I see 4 people play mahjong too, which is a bit hilarious. They have flat white which is so rare in USA. And the coffee art meets my standard lol. Will come back again.

First time here, weekday, parking was surprisingly easy, friendly helpful staff, great menu, coffee was full of flavor and fresh, tons of seating inside and out, very clean and inviting, great vibe, would highly recommend and return.

The chocolate croissant was delicious and the cafe latte is smooth and served lid free so you can enjoy the latte art before sipping this quality coffee. The beautiful spacious seating area has a good mix options to choose from and there is outside seating as well. Lots to love about this place!

A Life without coffee is like a broken pencil – pointless. :D With that said let’s begin this sweet review. BOXX COFFEE (est 2021) is an exquisite modern Turkish cafe shop in the art district of LA. They’re located in Aliso luxury apartment building on E. 3rd street. We came on a rainy weekend to grab some coffee. I was mesmerized with the modernity and exquisite layout design of this cafe. Clearly, no money was spared here. That I can tell you. Moreover, the cafe’s atmosphere has a positive energy and peaceful tranquility. Their coffee menu list was modest as well as their pastries. I had a Croissant and hot Turkey Coffee, a strong traditionally prepared enjoyed in small cups. It is served with a small cup of water to cleanse thy palate. Drinking this coffee is traditionally not meant to be rushed as culture dictates it. The best way to complement this coffee is with a warmed butter Croissant to assuage the robust flavor of the coffee. Staff were cordial and professional. Prices were relatively fair and affordable. Parking in the art district can be challenging, so it’s best to come early in the morning. Overall, one can posit that this is a lovely modern cafe. I highly recommend it.🤩

Incredible experience - baristas (Manny and Khoa) were not only knowledgeable but passionate about their work. They serve 3 single origin espressos of unique flavor profiles - I particularly liked the Honduras Finca Unica in a flat white and the Mexico Esperanza in a cappucino. Manny walked me through each coffee and made sure i was taken care of. Shops ambiance was top knotch too

Wow … this coffee shop not only looks good but they really know how to make coffee .. the beans are roasted perfectly with no bitterness at all ! Just absolutely perfect .. we just got a flat white .. but I definitely want to come back and try it all ! Service was great and the place has plenty of seating .

Lovely atmosphere, clearly experienced barista, incredible cortado. The chairs were funky to sit in at the bar, but there were other chairs and I chose to sit where I did so that’s on me. Highly recommend. Just a 15 min (or so) walk from Union Station. Love the wooden saucer for the cup

Amazing spot for black coffee lovers :) I'm personally an espresso with milk girl but the coffee here is amazing. I ordered a flat white but I sampled a few of their other coffee. It's smooth, rich, and even though I don't like my coffee black, you know it's good coffee when you taste it. The community here is also intimate. They take the time to get to know their customers & I love their passion for high quality coffee. There is a window you can look through that shows how their coffee is made in the roaster. There is seating with beautiful decor. Thank you bryan and ben for your hospitality :)

The coffee is legit, roasted in house. No milk, no sweetener no additives of any kind are required. The espresso had a velvety texture, smooth and complex, drip is full, sweet and flavorful. The savory cheese danish was flaky and a bit spicy. Great place!

The café is laptop-friendly with free Wi-Fi and a few outlets, which I really appreciate. The relaxed, comfortable vibe keeps me coming back again and again.
