The vegan dishes here are beyond belief when it comes to being delicious!!! I have to recommend the wings and definitely the inferno chicken. Service is grade A along with the atmosphere. The owner is very humble and nice. I cant believe this food is vegan..its that close to the real thing!!!

The food is phenomenal! The Drunken Noodles and Mango Sticky Rice is sooo good. The people working there are really nice. The ONLY downfall is the the parking, it's hard to find. Other than that this place is great.

Don’t walk, run!!! I went there last night and I couldn’t believe how delicious the food was. I literally was blown away. The chicken wings were amazing. The golden tofu was amazing. The green curry was amazing. The Thai pancakes were amazing. I can’t wait to come back and take every person who ever visits me to this amazing place. Prices were SO reasonable and food was next level. Wow.

This is a great food spot for vegans, vegetarians and people who just love Thai food. My sister is a vegetarian and I chose this place place for her but I think I liked it just as much as she did. The waitress was great, giving us all our options and answering questions. We were greeted immediately and the food came out quick and hot. The only negative is the parking but it's no worse than any other parking situation in that area or LA in general. There wasn't anything special about the decor that I remember but there was plenty of people watching from the large window we sat by. I will definitely be back.

The BEST vegan Thai I've ever had. I have been here a few times and drive across L.A. for this place. Each time I order something new and NOTHING has disappointed me. I order off the entree or chef's special menu and my partner orders noodles and fried rice dishes plus appetizers. Everything is bursting with flavor and I will be back for more. Plus service is nice and place is cozy. I love it!

We had best Thai food in the area! It is a gem of a place :) We’d ordered Corn Fritters and Panang curry. The taste and quality of food was very good! Loved the ambiance and the service too! Would definitely recommend this place 🤩

This place is great; the only slight downside is you have to be prepared for potentially annoying parking. Read the signs! I got good parking anyway, so I can’t complain. Staff is very nice, and the hot wings are delicious.

OMG the chicken wings!! You have to try it. We had the fried dumplings, tom yum soup and the inferno chicken. The most unbelievably good food you can't even know that it's vegan!

Everything I've tried here is delicious, both dining in and taking out. Service is fantastic. Everything is vegetarian. Highly recommend the hot wings if you're a vegetarian that's been missing out on wings. Inferno Chicken was also delicious.

I’ve been going to Bulan Thai for years and it’s always delicious. My favorite are the hot wings, the fish and green apple entree and the yellow curry. There’s some seating indoors and regular street parking. Staff is always super friendly.

This is my new favorite place. Came here on a friend’s recommendation when I was craving wings and Bulan blew me away. The place itself was really nice and centrally located. I found free street parking nearby. The staff was so kind and attentive. I can see regular customers come in with a smile, proving that people love to come back. I ordered the wings, mild. Fried dumplings. And orange chicken. The food was hot and delicious. I definitely ordered more than I could eat, so took some home. As a vegetarian, this place is a dream. I can’t wait to try everything on their menu!!

Very nice restaurant. Very delicious food. I came here with my wife and friends for a total of 6 people. My wife and I aren’t vegetarians but our friends are so they recommended this spot. I’m not a huge fan of soy or tofu but this place does a really great job and replicating Thai food without the animal products. They ask if you would like your food with or without egg. I ordered pad thai with tofu and it was amazing. The portion was great, the flavor was great, the price was great. The staff is very friendly and inviting. The restaurant itself is cozy and warm.

I don’t even want to review this place as a vegan place (which it is) because it is just so delicious. The summer rolls were fresh and crunchy with a legendary peanut sauce. I couldn’t believe the fried chicken was vegan, it had perfect texture and a delicious sweet vinegar sauce. Most importantly the Khao soi was top tier and one of the best I’ve ever had even comparing it with meat versions and eating it in Thailand. Wow, this place is an easy 5 star. Also the coconut water was just better than average so don’t skip on that!! If I had any complaints it would be I’m not sure where you would park during busier times as even during lunch we had to park on a residential street. Also the broth that came with the chicken was a little bland. Overall if I was driving to LA to go to the Greek theater again I would very much like to come back!

This was some of the best Thai food I have ever eaten! The restaurant is very small and unassuming, but the flavors pack with the punch!!! First, it’s all vegetarian with lots and lots of vegan options! The service was extremely speedy. And the food hit all the high notes! Highly recommend this place. The only downside is that the dining room is kind of small. We were lucky to get a table. But boy oh boy this was one of the best places we ate at during our stay in Los Angeles!! They had an option for mango sticky rice with forbidden rice, which has more fiber and antioxidant content than the usual white rice. Prices were very reasonable, especially in contrast to the popular place across the street. Service was so friendly. Highly recommend! I would love to return whenever we are in the area so we can try more of their food.

Omg, everything was good! One of the best vegan orange chicken and pineapple fried rice, delicious dumplings and veggie broth soup. The unsweetened Arnold Palmer drink was so refreshing. Good prices and nice area, I will come back.

I had steamed dumplings (fantastic!) and vegan pad see ew with tofu (yummy!). My server was absolutely friendly and even offered to give me extra ice tea to go for the road. Class act. Thanks!

We stopped by this place on our long drive. Had to wait to get a table, but it was worth the wait. Service was very fast and good was delicious. It’s a great place for vegetarians as there are many options. I’ll plan to eat here again if we travel to LA anytime in future.

Every time I come here the service so great and good is tasty. This time the ice cream was still frozen 🥶 instead of creamy but otherwise everything was excellent as usual. I ordered spicy and still used hot sauce they are very clear that they prepare mild on purpose so as not to overwhelm if you want it spicy ask!

Beyond impressive! I’ve had this restaurant on my “want to go list” for a long time. Glad to be in LA and able to eat here. Sitting on the porch, we instantly felt comfortable. Nat the owner was very warm and helpful. She suggested a few dishes that were great! We will return.

This was some of the best Thai food I have ever eaten! The restaurant is very small and unassuming, but the flavors pack with the punch!!! We came for a trip from Seattle to LA and we were all very hungry. As we were browsing through some restaurants to eat at we stumbled on Bulan Thai Vegetarian Kitchen. It was very good and the service was fast. Definitely recommend if you are in LA and looking for vegetarian options.

The restaurant was good for a large party (9 people) with lots of pretty lighting and Christmas decor. Would definitely come back again. We ordered a wide assortment of dishes including the corn fritters, golden tofu, pad Thai, pad kee mao, pad see ew, prig khing fried rice, pineapple fried rice, yellow curry, panang curry, and wonton soup. Everything was the perfect level of spice and we loved the prig khing so much we ordered it a second time!

This place is something else! The way the staff serve you, you feel like home! I have tried so many dishes and everything taste delicious. My kids have their fav - Garlic noodles and my mom’s fav is Khao Man Ghai!

During the shelter at home mandate, we decided it would be nice to try doing takeout once a week (lets us try new places despite being stuck at home while supporting small business through such a rough time). We were super excited to try Bulan Thai Vegetarian out - we especially loved khao soi when we traveled in Vietnam and immediately knew we were going to order that. We also ordered hot wings & Spicy Coconut Noodles Soup. The delivery was quick and we appreciated the reusable and recyclable materials. We didn't quite gather that they put all of the noodles in one container, though, so we ended up putting the khao soi sauce over all of the noodles before realizing we were meant to split them with the coconut soup... we spent a fair amount of time straining and reorganizing and plating it all so it was just right. While I get why they packaged them together, it would've been nice if they labeled the box so it was clear what each piece was for. The food itself was tasty. We wish we had ordered a higher spice level (we went for spicy) but were able to kick things up with our own hot sauce. Would order from here again sometime or, better yet, try to dine in once we can do so again!

BULAN THAI V.K. is a nice little corner Thai restaurant that serve tasty food. It is located on Santa Monica blvd and Manzanita St in Silver Lake neighborhood of LA. Indoor vibe and design were relaxing and contemporaneously infused with Thai culture. Their menu has a modest food/drink items and competitively priced. Moreover, the entree food portion (e.g., noodles) match the price. We came here to grab lunch and had a Pad Woon Sen (VG), a glass noodle with vegetables and egg; and Spring rolls. Both food items were good. Service was on point. Staff were amiable and professional. Finding parking in the area can be challenging. Overall, this we had a delightful dine-in experience and enjoyed our healthy meal. I recommend this Thai spot.

I was very excited to find this place but was truly deeply disappointed with the food ... Wings were exceptionally dry, they had no sauce on them, and came with no sauce on the side ... Ordered the drunken noodles and the box wasn't even filled 1/3 of the way .... in that 1/3 portion there were hardly ANY noodles at all. Dumplings were okay. Spent over $30 on a huge let down.
