We love coming here for mexican vegan food. Tonight i picked up dinner for tonight, we ordered the chken tacos combo that comes with 3 or 4 if you like, plus rice beans and salad. My partner got the nacho fries as usual it is there favorite ♥ and two bottle cokes. On the menu there's also a lot of latin food choices like chile rellenos, enchiladas, burritos and the most goes on. I definitely recommend the ceviche as appetizer ♥
Woweeee mama this is some of the best vegan food I've ever had in my LIFE A little on the pricey side but tbh the meal was absolutely huge and I definitely don't regret paying what I did. There's a huge variety of food on offer and each dish seems to be quite customisable so you can pretty much choose what you want exactly I had the mole chimichanga and oh boy was it HEAVY AND DELICIOUS... just like my ex!
I am surprised genuinely because I am not vegan. The asada tasted like real carne asada, being an avid meat lover I thought it would've been bad. I was way wrong!! I got the wet burrito asada with the combo. It was rice and beans the combo. I would come back again! Meat lovers should give this place a chance.
First time ever finding a vegan mexican restaurant and highly recommend! 10/10 would eat again. I was overwhelmed by all the delicious options they had to choose from. The prices are fair for big portion sizes! Thank you for my first vegan yummy carne asada fry experience. I also got quesadillas for later and those were very good as well! The sour cream sauce was deliciously made.
My wife ordered the k fries and if you are into Korean flavor you MUST MUST MUST order these! BEST FRIES EVER. They are loaded fries so if that's not your thing, they also have sweet Korean chicken. Among other flavors but I recommend the Korean. Also, yes, the chicken and k fries are on the Mexican food side. Yum. Yum. Yum. You must try them.
The best vegan mexican food I have had till date!!! I visited this small and cute restaurant last month with my husband. And, both of us just loved the food here. I have been recommending everyone who is visiting LA to try the food here without fail. I remember every dish we ordered was fantastic.
Xavi’s the man! Hooked us up with the best of the best and gave legit recommendations. Cool people, cool place, worth every penny.
Walked in to order on their self service kiosk. They text you when the food is ready so we went next door to the doomies home cookin' establishment. Our food was done very fast at nextmex! And oh my goodness was the portion size huge for the price. I think we spent 15 dollars for asada nachos and we split them between the 2 of us. It was very tasty. Lots of flavor and toppings! Just the way I like my nachos :) Not to mention, we were struggling to find vegan options at 11pm til we found this place. Open late!!
Vegan and I LOVE it! Min frills dining. Delicious food.
One of our go-to spots in LA, especially for late night taco plates. Crunch wrap and flautas are pretty good, too, if you wanna mix things up.
Def underrated! This place is FIREEE! I’m a foodie, and plant based for 11 years. This is hands down THE BEST VEGAN MEXICAN I’ve ever had. The carnitas are my favorite tacos, the Crunchwrap was to die for and they also have delicious rice and beans. I’m certain everything on the menu is spectacular! 1000/10 Recommed!
Korean Sweet and Garlic herbs chicken tenders are my favorite.. I didn’t really like the burrito I tried but others might.. been a Vega for over a decade and when I tried and didn’t give what needed to give, but would could back and try the tacos and quesadillas. But the tenders were fire!! It was crisp and succulent. You should deff give it a try :)
I got the Chimi-Wet. It was so good and super filling. I love how everything is vegan and made in-house. I also love the customizable options. The red sauce definitely has a kick but is bursting with flavor🔥🔥🔥👌👌👌👌 Came back for the Nachos! You can't go wrong here. Great comfort food! 👌👌🔥🔥 Chimi-Wet all day! 🔥🔥👌👌🔥🔥👌👌 - Still fire everytime!
First off, shoutout to Sabi/Savi; he provides excellent customer service and great recommendations! Baby! Doomie’s has some of thee best, not just vegan TexMex/Mexican food, but vegan food, in general. Their plant-based proteins are spot on! I ordered the nachos(chips) and 1 chicken/pollo flauta. The nachos were a large portion, lots of toppings, lots of flavor! I added carnitas which took it to the next level! And the flauta, oh my goodness, more deliciousness. My friend was laughing at me because of my reactions while eating, so I guess it was visible and audible how much I enjoyed my food. My friend is not vegan and really enjoyed her tacos and what she had of my nachos. Doomie’s NextMex is definitely a must for whenever I visit Los Angeles! I may have to have it once more before I roll out. Amazing!
Your typical Mexican food fix. Absolutely delicious and naughty, yet healthy? Portions are giant, we've had to split a wet burrito between two people. Satisfying is the word!
The cost is pretty steep, It can easily get very expensive. The food is well worth it though. It’s difficult to find such delicious vegan food like this and anytime I’m in the area, I stop by Doomies. Costumer service is always top notch as well! Great job, keep up the excellent service.
The food is good, it’s all vegetarian and delicious, pretty filling. I ordered the corn tortilla taquitos with rice and beans which I highly recommend. The workers said because they ran out of pico de gallo salsa I wanted they wanted to make it up to me by giving me a taco. Now that’s what I call customer service!
Hands down some of the best mexican food I have had. My 5-year old and 9-month old couldn't get enough of the food. I can't wait to go back! We got tacos (try the baja artichoke. You won't regret it), chimi & wet burrito (w carnitas. If you love sauce, this one's for you) and quesadilla. Their queso was to die for!!!
Legit Mexican food. Beans are a bit salty for my liking, everything else is on point. Can remove onion if you don’t like it.
Super cool vegan place to eat great Mexican food. Portions are gigantic and prices are good. We had nachos and chimichanga chicken mole style. The nacho cheese is very creamy and delicious. Jalapeños was not hot, very good Pico de Gallo, smooth & creamy beans and of course homemade chips. Chimichanga was huge, I love that there was a lot of fresh raw lettuce aside. It's like a dish for two people, very tasty. All good!
Rice and beans are fantastic, so is the pollo mole taco. The Chile relleno was pretty good! Very tex Mex style. I love that the place is just like walking into a regular mexican joint, but its vegan! Cant wait to try the chimichangas, and the loaded fries were insane. I wish they had enchiladas!!
Fantastic food, hilarious decor, and very friendly staff. The food is competitively priced, especially for vegan eats. Everything tastes fantastic and the portions are super generous. Definitely check this out!
I really enjoyed the food & service here. I got the taco plate with carnitas, chicken & fried shrimp, everything was so good! They have a lot of options that are sure to appeal to vegans & non vegans alike. I will definitely be back to try more things!
One of my favorite restraunts! This is the best vegan Mexican food with huge portions! Being that, it's a little pricey, but it's worth it. Some of the seating inside needs attention as some chairs are alarmingly wobbly. They only take credit card here, but the sometimes mandatory valet only takes cash. So bring both! You can order on a tablet by yourself, so it's an introverts heaven.

I heart Doomie’s NexMex. Best vegan queso on the planet. I hope one day I can get the secret recipe, but it’s also fine if they want to take my money for the rest of my life because they’ve earned it. Nachos, taquitos, crunchwraps, and wet chimi are all outstanding. Delicious food in amazing portions, and the pricing is so affordable for vegan food. I order from here at least once a week, and it is always amazing, and it is a regular “comfort” food for me.
Loved this place!! I love Mexican food and whenever I’m in LA it’s the perfect treat since there’s so many vegan Mexican spots. I got the taco plate with chicken tingas, asada, & carnitas. The texture and flavors were so spot on. I haven’t had meat in years and it emulated it so well. Very vast menu and reasonable prices/portions. The guy working there was really cool and told us what other spots to check out in the area. They also hooked up us with a free burrito. I wish l lived closer so I can come all the time :(

Amazing nachos! Cool decorations and I loved the bathroom (didn’t get a pic but it’s funny so gotta go check it out) 😂 The nachos were all we ordered because it was so expensive and also there was no server or anyone at the front so we were a bit confused when we first went in until we realized that we had to order on the kiosks. So if i was rating solely on the food it would be 5 star but because of the lack of customer service and the prices being so high I had to do 4 star out of honesty.
This was my first time here. I ordered the wet burrito with carne asada. To make it a combo you add beans and rice so I did. I got a side of chips too, no drink. My total was 17. There was no wait to seat in that was nice. Got the chips in a little paper bag. (Chips were great!) They had chile but not really one for chips and salsa so that was odd. When the food came the burrito was big. I cut it open and didn't see any meat at first. Had to really dig in. I wish it was filled more. The sides of rice and beans wasn't worth adding, the portions were small. Idk about you but I'm a hungry vegetarian! I will definitely be going back to try more food but only as a once in a while type of place. When you wanna spoil yourself
I love doomies food so I knew I had to try their Mexican shop next door. Prices were fair and I like that they have the same ordering screen. It's very quick and food is hot and fresh. The inside of this location is a little bit nicer than the other one. I got a smothered burrito and I felt like the portion size was good. It was tasty but felt a bit soggy from all the sauce they put on it. And maybe could have used a bit more seasoning? I'm not sure, maybe salt or something with a bit of spice. Either way it was very filling and good but I'd probably choose the regular doomies over their Mexican food.
Food was god but maybe let’s not set fried foods on lettuce so it’s soggy by time the food arrives
Next Mex is surprisingly good! Feel obligated to say that I don’t love regular Doomie’s. Back when they were in the night club in Chinatown in the 00’s they nailed fried chicken like no one else, and the Big Mac at the current location was all that in like 2015, but otherwise I don’t eat there often. The Mexican food though is done really well. Not at El Cocinero or Vegatinos level but dare I say as good or better than Cena? Not overly dependent on vegan meat, ie the burrito is the full package with tasty beans and rice, with a good tortilla that’s grilled well. Tip: it’s free to add cheeze! The chile relleno is delicious. Not overly fried tasting and filled with plenty of vegan cheese but not too much. The salsas are also good and I appreciate the range of vegan meats. The carnitas are my favorite and they are also the only gluten free option. Occasionally it does come a bit too salty and that’s relative to the saltiness you would expect from Doomie’s food.

Food is great, employee acted like he didnt want to work there anymore. Went there to pick up some food for my girlfriend since she just got home late and they're one of the only vegan places open late night. After I came in to to pick up, I headed to the order pick up counter (btw not as visible as the order pos) , saw one of the employees in the back with his back turned towards the front looking at the kitchen, I figured he was busy and waited with my order details in hand. He noticed me after a minute and the first thing he did was walk up to me, pointed on the counter and looked away. There's a button on the counter that says 'ring for service'. I rang the button, showed him the details I had ready coming into the store and left. I know someone that worked here years ago and said the environment is toxic, but that is also reflected in the workers.
Everything but the food was good. I got nachos and they were mid. The beans tasted oddly sweet and the sour cream was not it. I feel like it lacked flavor and needed more toppings/ flavor. I have heard good things about this place so maybe I got the wrong thing? I think I will come back because it wasn’t awful but definitely wasn’t good.

I used to love coming to this place, but I’m really disappointed with how much it’s gone downhill. I ordered the carnitas tacos plate, which came with beans and rice. The rice was good, but the beans had an odd, unpleasant taste that I can’t quite describe. As for the tacos, they were a letdown the carnitas were mushy and lacked flavor, the tortillas were falling apart, and all I could really taste was raw onion. I understand wanting to save on air conditioning, but it was uncomfortably hot inside, which made the dining experience pretty unpleasant. On top of that, the dining area felt dirty and dusty.
What even is this? I order the 3 taco plate and this is what I got when I opened it. Did you guys just take all the ingredients and just throw it in the box? Not to mention the meat was hard and stale. The quality of this place seriously isn’t good anymore.
