Great music! Plenty of seating. Drinks are a decent price. Bathrooms are clean. Definitely some place I'd go to again if i were in town.

This is described as a cocktail bar, maybe more correctly this is a dive bar (and proud of it). Good music, drinks and nice staff.

Staff is incredible! Had a rough night after a rock concert involving a little too much to drink followed by a lost cell phone and everyone here came through for us like family. Totally RAD people! Thank you guys so much!

I’ve been living in echo park for 5 years and the drawing room is the best dive bar in America. Dare to give me your word of your favorite dive, Either way, You’ll end up drinking at mine cuz it has Fernet, a dartboard and a juke box. Too bad harmontown is over, cuz those people We’re the best people to get drunk with. Thankful they inspired

It is a dive bar that's cash only. No judgement for morning or midday drinking. You can disappear for an hour or two before you face the world. Not a family place and not a restaurant. Dimly lit and cozy. Id definantly go back again if I get down this way.

Five with the caveat that it’s a five for what it is which is a really divey dive in a neighborhood that has no other dive bars. The pros: good seating, incredibly strong drinks, weird jukebox, weird vibes (in a good way) The cons: cash only, the drinks are incredibly strong, the regulars can be creepy if you go before 8pm or on any major holiday

Cheapest drinks in the area. The perfect dive bar, as it has all the dive without the dirt or the seediness. It's dark, it's quirky, it's pleasant. The bartenders are personable, and the seating is interesting and plentiful. A great staple place to hang out multiple times a week. Good music all the time, ensured by the jukebox. A true "haunt."

They also do Karaoke on Sunday nights, it's busy, but great singers and a fun atmosphere. Highly recommend if you need a great dive bar. Parking is usually available in the parking lot or on the street nearby. Just watch out for street cleaning signs if you leave your car.

This is the best place in los Angeles to get roofied. My friends went there last night and we all got roofied it was sooooo fun. It’s a nice small bar where the bartenders serve you drinks with roofies so you get to go home and be like “yay! We went to the drawing room AND got roofied I love this place”

This is the best place in los Angeles to get roofied. My friends went there last night and we all got roofied it was sooooo fun. It’s a nice small bar where the bartenders serve you drinks with roofies so you get to go home and be like “yay! We went to the drawing room AND got roofied I love this place”

The Drawing Room is a dive bar. A true dive bar with its regulars and sometimes grumpy staff, it's okay it's part of the experience. The best way to make friends is to overtip on your first drink. It's dark and it has the scent of dry hops, must, lust and disappointment. Sometimes if I'm there like DOWNEY AMBER FABRIC SOFTENER. The Drawing Room has been a Silver Lake / Los Feliz institution for years, You can almost smell Charles Bukoskis breath on the cups. The Good: The bar sits next to The Laundry Room and they are very accommodating when you are doing your laundry. Love this feature lots of lots. It opens at 6:00 am and closes at 2:00 am Walking distance from most of Los Feliz Celebrity Sightings at 6:30 am lolz The Bad: There really is none. It's a dive bar, and it lives up the it's name.

Definitely a dive but charming enough to overcome the lack of draft beer and cash only experience. Darts and Karaoke Sundays are usually a big hit here.

Cool spot in Los Angeles with delicious cocktails. I haven't actually sat through a show here before so I can't speak to that, but the bartenders have been helpful and the back patio is nice to chill at.

Bartender was friendly and the atmosphere was super chill. Would make a great spot to grab a drink or two in if you had to kill time.

With a "though they are cheap, they are also mighty" warning as we set off for the Drawing Room, I was surprised to find the bar both clean and friendly. The rumors proved to be true as we watched them fill our glass with 80% vodka and 20% soda water, with an asking price of pocket change compared to their pricey counterparts. We whisked our cocktails to a quiet room in the back with open seating and a pool table. After the 8 ball fell in and our glasses emptied we ventured back to the bar for round two. The bartenders were friendly and patient, even after the liquor began to set in. With friendly patrons, competent staff, stiff drinks, and cheap prices- The Drawing Room is the perfect place to start the festivities or bring the evening to a close.

Bring a jacket because the air conditioning is on high. It’s a cash only establishment and there’s no beer on draft.

Bartenders seem to hate their job and look at everyone that's new as though they don't belong. Music was good though thanks to the kid manning the jukebox.

Not as cool since they remodeled and got rid of the opportunity den motif. Cash only. Cheapest place to get a drink in that area for probably two miles.

Make sure to bring your vaccine cards. I went with my friends for one if their birthdays and I didn't have mine with me because I didn't know I'd need it. They weren't jerks about it at all. They let me stand there and try to figure out how to access it through my patient portal on my phone. I had no luck and left of my own accord. So this isn't a complaint, just a heads up to make sure you bring it.

small dive bar with somewhat of a neighborhood vibe. loud satirical music is the price you pay for cheap drinks. don’t ask for anything too special, they would be happiest just opening PBR after PBR. i often see couples or what could be first dates at this spot and can’t imagine how bad it’s going... this is not the spot for that. come with a bunch of friends, drink a bunch of cheap beer, yell at each other over the loud music. finally leave and ask yourself why you keep coming back.

Bar opens at 6am, but the bartender on duty this day seemed very displeased about this fact. No music is allowed to be played on the jutebox until 8am, so it was a very quiet, cash only after party spot that was all sorts of awkward and bright.

Nothing special about this place... I made a mistake of just bringing a credit card... Wanted to open a tab... The bad vibe bartender said "cash only" and pointed to the atm... So I can get charged... and they can make profits off the atm transaction(s)... Lucky I had cash to buy a beer... I tried to enjoy the atmosphere... But ended up leaving after 1 beer and went across the street to the Rustic Inn... and had a far more enjoyable time.

So unpleasant, disgusting bathroom, rude bartender.

High drink prices, cash only bar, and when I gave her exact change for my bill, she tipped herself right in front of me (she looked back to see if I was paying attention, was on my phone but very observant) and then turned around and said I was short. Would of ordered more and tip well like I usually do because the atmosphere is great but she really wanted that $1.

Got severely sick a few years back after drinking here. Was sick to my stomach for weeks. Probably served me rancid juice and alcohol with dirty cups. The place is a total dump and takes no responsibility for their actions. The owners kept trying to take my report down from Yelp repeatedly.
