We had the fajitas, Birria combo, flautas, pork ribs in red sauce with home made tortillas, and an assortment of tacos. Everything was delicious. Our whole table was very happy. Their home made salsas were also freshly made. We will be returning for sure.

Birria and chicken shredded tacos juicy and full of flavor and they have homemade tortillas which are delicious . 10/10 highly recommend 😊❤️

The staff and owner of El Rey Mexican Grill were exceptionally welcoming and accommodating. Not only was the service excellent, but the food exceeded expectations as well. In particular, the quesadillas stood out as a highlight, boasting flavorful ingredients. Without a doubt, El Rey Mexican Grill is a gem among local eateries, offering an authentic taste of Mexico right in our neighborhood. Me and my boyfriend went here for an early dinner. Everyone who works there was super amazing! All the food was delicious and very fresh! The waiter said the salsa and tortillas were made from scratch and nothing comes from a can. I believe it! It tasted like heaven!

Everything is homemade, literally on the spot (im sure they do prep). Loved it if im ever back this way ill stop by again, definition of hole in the wall but dont let that fool you. The flavor was there and the lady was so nice she needs a raise. I got the birria, it wasn't goat but im assuming thats because nobody knows how damn good this place is. For reference hooked my brother up with the leftovers, fresh tortillas and sauted onions and birria (beef) kid couldnt control himself his fiance cooks him some bs and shes from Columbia. Yeah make the stop its worth it. Salsas were so good, mocajate or however you spell it was fire, raja wasn't too hot even the Verde had a kick, thank you for the good homemade meal.

It is a surprise gem in a strip mall, with a sign which has seen better days, in a neighborhood which may or may not have seen better days. The tacos (al pastor, birria, and pollo) are delicious, and juicy, with handmade tortillas. The enchiladas Verde con pollo, also, very good. Homemade salsas are varied, delicious and add intensity and flavor. I am sad they ran out of the tinga. Caveat: admittedly, I favor seedier looking places (believing them to have the harder-working, grittier food makers) and I generally do not like "fine" dining. So, my atmosphere rating may not match yours.

I drive uber and came in for some breakfast. I got the chilaquiles customized and Miguel had no problem helping me out with the order customization. Thank you Miguel I hope if I’m ever in the area to stop by once again. Wish I had a photo to share but I was so hungry I didn’t even think about it … any way great Mexican food!

I got the birria tacos, and the consume (juice) was not good. The beef was fine. The chips and salsa were good. I probably will not go back. There are no prices on the menu either. The guy was friendly.

As it shows in the video is a lie that is open or they just don't want me to be there customer even so I have always pay. I will not be returning and hopefully nobody supports this kind of business. You can see, lights on. Online it shows as open, but it's not. Not a reliable restaurant. Therefore, I'm not coming back.

Food and service are not very good and I wouldn't recommend. First, I ordered online, and when I got there, they didn't have my order. Second, they were out of the meat I had ordered for my tacos. So they made me tacos with different meat that I got to choose, but I had ordered them with no onion and they gave me the tacos with a lot of onion and tomato (which I didnt want either). Now the meat for the tacos isn't even good. The carnitas were inedible. They were so dry and hard and tasted funny. The chicken and carne asada had better texture, but were very plain. Disappointing experience.
