Opinions de The Ramp Restaurant & Bar Burbank
I often say you can tell a lot about people by the reviews they write. I hope you can tell from mine that I *love* good food! The Ramp offers incredible food and drinks, plus attentive service. After two of our fave Italian restaurants closed, we went without for a few years. We learned about this place (on an episode of Rockford Files, no less!) and knew we had to try it. The dishes we’ve enjoyed here include Chicken Parmigiana, Garlic Cheese Bread, Side Salad, Seafood Combination, plus the Steak and Shrimp. All of the food was simply fantastic and priced appropriately. We’ve also had some desserts here and I can’t recall what they were other than delicious! The warm atmosphere and romantic music in the dining room make for a great date night. I don’t understand other reviewers’ concerns about the valet. We’ve never had an issue. The parking lot is tiny and an economy with plenty of jobs is a healthy one. People need to work in a capitalist society; calm down. Since baseball season is getting started soon, we plan to come back and watch some Dodgers games in the bar. Whether you’re looking for superb dining or a relaxed bar to watch your fave sport, you can’t go wrong at The Ramp!
Charming little spot to wait for a flight to come in at Burbank Airport. Raviolis with alfredo sauce or excellent, their garlic cheese bread is to die for and their meatball sliders are very tasty.
It’s a great dinner experience where I ended up here on two separate evenings. The first I had their beef stroganoff and the second I marvelously enjoyed their prime rib au jus. Especially here, I wish I would have taken some food photos but had family I hadn’t seen in a long time so it was mostly Peronis and laughs. Incredible food and vibe experience both evenings.
Great little "whole in the wall" Food Is delicious and service is great. I would highly recommend this place for anyone in the mood for great Italian food or hanging out at the bar, (we had a burger this time) which was delicious. They also have a really good selection of drinks.
As guests have mentioned in other reviews, the on-site valet parking is definitely suspect. I legitimately thought the scruffy-looking employee was a homeless man, as he approached me asking for $5. He gave me some excuse about how there have been "incidents" in the past, but gave up begging for change when we asked questions about his legitimacy. Why would I ever willingly pay money to park/retrieve my own vehicle in a tiny, half-empty lot? Thankfully, the food was delicious and staff was incredibly kind/welcoming. Would highly recommend the portofino pasta and a slice of the chocolate mousse.
Hands down my best dining experience I ever had shout out to Carlos whooo hoo you rock! Can't wait to come back! So delicious and the whole staff is amazing! I highly recommend The Ramp Restaurant & Bar! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Love love love the Ramp.......come check it out peeps.....2023 UPDATE This place is even better now. Surf & turf was jus friggin AWESOME. I could cut the filet mignon with my fork and it really does melt in your mouth. Lobster 🦞 was so big I could only eat half..... veggies & mashed potatoes were done perfectly..... and Chole bartender / server is the best part..... she rocks!!!!!
Our family visited The Ramp on New Years Eve. I had the chicken piccata and it was cooked to perfection. We had a great time and forgot to take pictures! I did snap a picture of the tiramisu cake which was moist and flavorful. We will definitely visit again!

We found this place by looking for the best Italian restaurants since we were passing through to get to Riverside. The place is right next to the 5 fwy on ramp so we already impressed by the name. As you walk in it full of small lit lights and rustic walls making us feel like we're in Italy by night or back in time. The tables were dressed with white tablecloths, lit lamps and silverware.🍽️ We were greeted nicely asking if we wanted to dine or enjoy happy hour in the bar which is the first thing when you walk in. We dined and the service was great the server please us graciously and he really made our experience better. The food was delicious and at a great price. I hope to dine here again.
We had dinner on Tuesday, I had the Cobb salad, absolutely delicious, the best of any restaurant I’ve ever been to! The one thing missing was our friend Jose, He actually took a well deserved night off! Fried zucchini perfect, and my husband had The beef stroganoff, so very tender, I ate a lot of😬 Thank you my friends 🥗🍝🥒❤️
Once inside you are in another world. When they offer you the cheesy garlic bread say yes! It’s the best!

Classic place. Doesn't look like much from the outside, but inside it's classic old school awesome Italian. Lots of variety, fantastic menu, great seafood BTW, and the service is always friendly, traditional and welcoming. One of my favorites.

Really cool low key place directly next to the 5 freeway. Steak was pretty good, linguine & clams was also great! Service was good, prices reasonable, and the atmosphere was just the vibe we needed after a hectic drive out of Burbank Airport. Definitely recommend!
Dine LA week. Got some good food and enjoy this location that's been open since 1963.
Decent steak and pasta joint. Cheesy garlic bread is fab! Decent steak. Pasta is ok. Service is great.

Interesting little place stuck between an off-ramp and the 5 fwy. It took a while for us to visit as this did not feel that inviting because of the location. However once you get in you have no idea what the location is. Small bar and small dining room but very good Italian food. They have live music at times but I have always missed it. It you want to try something that only locals are aware of, go for it.
Great little bar restaurant, I've had three or four dishes there that have been excellent and it is very convenient to/ for Burbank airport

Nice hidden spot near the freeway. We were trying to look for a good happy hour so decided to try this place. We ordered three items on the happy hour menu. We got the Cheese Ravioli , Wings & the Garlic Cheese Bread. Portions were really small even for two people, like kid portion size so beware of that. We only got about 2 small wings each, 2 raviolis each and split the garlic bread. And we also split the pesto pasta. The pasta was ok. We still felt hungry after that so we had to eat somewhere else after. I have been to a lot of many different happy hours , I have never seen portions so small before . I think the prices should be lower for how much little food you get. However our server was very nice and attentive and the drinks were made beautifully and they were strong. I don't think I would come back for the food though just for the deal on the happy hour drinks.
So it's been years since we've been here. We decided to give it another shot. It was a little rough. This time, we could tell they did a little face-lift, and the atmosphere had definitely improved. We had Ribeye and Halibut. It was good, not great but good. I also had the clam chowder, which was very good. The atmosphere is definitely a bit dated feeling, and you have to pay for valet parking, which doesn't make any sense. It's easy to just park myself. I get it in Hollywood where there's no parking. It just didn't make sense here. The service was wonderful. They are very attentive to our needs without overdoing it. I did appreciate that. So, overall, it was a good meal.

I ordered the sole lunch special which according to the menu is accompanied by vegetables and a soft drink. The texture of the fish suggested it had been frozen and possibly defrosted too quickly. The sauce covering the fish was too salty. The vegetables were bland and unsalted. However, the small scoop of rice that accompanied the fish was quite delicious. The waiter also never brought the drink included with the meal. It is unlikely I will return here. The prices are too high for what the offer. Based on the quality and flavor of what I ate, their prices are not justified. Unlike another person who posted an earlier review, I don’t mind the dated decor but the interior was extremely dark when first entering from outside.
Ordered takeout from The Ramp, and wow – what a culinary nightmare. They gave me the wrong pizza, then told me to bring it back for a swap. Great, I thought… until the “replacement” flatbread pepperoni arrived looking like someone threw it in a blender, stomped on it, and then set it on fire just for good measure. The burgers and chicken sandwich? Undercooked, soggy disasters. I’ve seen more appetizing meals in a middle school cafeteria trash can. I love giving local spots a chance, but this was overpriced garbage that made me question every life choice leading up to this meal. Save yourself the time, money, and digestive trauma – stay far, far away from The Ramp!

Made reservations for sons bday , got there and the place was empty … we were sat in a tiny corner table which was ok but a bit cramped for 6 people.. then we were asked if we wanted to try the cheese bread appetizer, sure .. they brought it to us burnt!! I wanted to send it back but feared what they would do to our meals so I said nothing.. Shortly after ordering they began to move the tables around making one huge table right next to us ! Sure enough within a few minutes a huge party arrived and they were seated so close it was like we were all together !! They were so loud, and the music was so loud! I just wanted out of there… My halibut dinner was 33 dollars for a disgusting piece of halibut covered in a gross artichoke sauce I had to scrape off the sauce to eat the halibut which had no flavor The mashed potatoes were boxed and gross, the steamed broccoli and cauliflower was tasteless .. my husband ordered lasagna and it was a small rectangle in a small dish served on a huge plate! No salad nothing just this hunk of lasagna! I could go on but for 145.00 I would have rather had McDonald’s , worst experience ever!!
The food was terrible , we ordered two 12oz prime rib dinners and both of them were so trimmed and dry . The Salad was not good, the steamed mussels were tasteless . The only thing good was the garlic toast . I want a refund from the owner. This was terrible .
