Great taco but seems portion is small
The food was good and they have a self serve section of veggie’s and sauce area. El taco de pastor was the best, with the strawberry agua Fresca. Fair price and portions.
Incredible al Pastor, Carne Asada, & pollo tacos! You choose your own salsas & they're all flavorful like the tacos. Highly recommend any of their trucks!
I recommend the California Burrito and at least three tacos of Al Pastor (pork off the spit). This taco truck was voted 3rd best in LA in 2025. I ordered five tacos of Al Pastor (pork off the spit) and a California Burrito. The tacos of Al Pastor had a tasty marinated flavor and had a lil piece of pineapple (pina) in my order. The California Burrito had more flavor, tastier, and better. (I don't think they do Taco Tuesday deals.) Tacos are $2.20 each. On a positive note, they offer grilled onions and jalapenos in a bag, have their own taco station where you can fill up containers of guacamole, salsa, limes, and grab your own bags of radishes, onions, etc. This taco truck is one of the best taco truck I have eaten at.
They are located on corner of la brea and venice. They also have a fee tables oitside for you to eat and walk up salsa bar for yoir fixings. Also this is cash only so just have that in mind. Great spot for some LA tacos
Maybe I'm easy to please as a west coast native currently living on the east coast and constantly wishing there were amazing tacos in my city... but whatever the reason... Leo's was bomb. I got the al pastor tacos and ate them on the hood of my rental. I know LA has no shortage of tacos, taco trucks, taco shops, and everything taco related... but Leo's Taco Truck is a real standout among its peers.
What can I say? Still showing love to Leo's Taco Truck on Venice and La Brea after so many years. Parking can be a bit difficult when it is packed. I ordered Tacos al pastor and a Sope de cabeza. It used to be cash only but you can also Zelle. I either come to this location or the one in Echo Park. Always hits the spot.
I love Leo's tacos. I have been coming here for years. They have long lines depending on what time you come. This location opens early and stays open late. The food is good. The prices are good, and they always have ample staff. They have plenty of parking and also convenient for nearby patrons and those who take the bus. There are plenty of food options in the area including other taco trucks, but Leo's is the best and is my go to.
This spot is a definite must go every time we visit. The tacos are delicious and the price is fair. We usually get about 3/4 tacos per person and end up pretty full. This year they have their topping / sauce bar on the outside, which was a nice change as it makes things easier to dress your tacos. Top recommendation would be the Al Pastor & Cabeza. Be sure to bring cash as this is a cash only truck.
We traveled out of our way just to try this place based on the reviews and the tacos did not disappoint. The Al pastor was my personal favorite. There was a self service condiment station with salad toppings and a collection of sauces. The service was swift and the taste, par excellence. The ratings do not lie in this one case.
Leo's Tacos Truck came up as one of the most recommended late night tacos spot and we decided to drive there after a wonderful day exploring Downtown LA. The truck is located on the corner of a busy avenue, next to a gas station. There were plenty of parking spots when we arrived but the place got busier pretty soon after 10pm You will be greeted with the aroma of the slow roasted pork that is setup right next to the ordering counter. How can you then not order an Al Pastor taco?! We ordered a total of 6 tacos for close to $15. They came with the usual salsa and condiments on the side. We finished the delicious tacos in under 5 minutes. Incredible! New York has got nothing over LA when it comes to Mexican food. Al Pastor is a must when you stop here for a quick bite!
The best Al Pastor taco in LA — and I will fight anyone who says otherwise! LOL They add small chunks of grilled pineapple and it adds so much depth and vibrance to the Al Pastor. I go to Leo’s at least once a week and typically order Al Pastor, Cabeza, and Assada tacos. My S/O orders random stuff like Alambres or Nachos, they’re good too. Food: great Atmosphere: super-extra casual Service: great Payment: cash-only 💵
Literally the best taco spot. The food is incredible and everyone here is so kind and welcoming--it really makes the experience. Highly recommend. 10/10

Just love their pastor and asada tacos. They don't cheat you on the meat either. Wish they would open up a spot in the SGV.

Amazing el pastor. Packed perfectly to go and drive them home 1 away and we're still warm when I got home. Definitely a must try
Great stop after a night out! We came around 11pm and there was a small line. Located by a gas station with little parking but you could find street parking on side. The menu was pretty expensive…
Leo's is a great Mexican taco truck. They have great tacos, there is no question about that, but they also have great everything. They have a good menu there. The prices are fair. There is usually …
very fresh and delicious tacos. very nice service nice people. calm people. Really recommend very good tacos.
One of the best tacos ever, and the service is Amazing highly recommended if you want to eat tacos
The food is excellent. Try it, you will like it. I will try the Nachos next visit. Pollo tacos and burritos are really good. Last visit I tried the california burrito with chicken. Simply amazing
Very friendly and very affordable. I got a burrito, 6 tacos and the asada fries and they had a ton of flavor! And they had baggies to put whatever salsitas you get and they had radishes, pepiño, li…
The meat was flavorful, tortillas were fresh, and the sauces? Next level. Quick service and friendly staff made
Good food. we parked in the parking lot and ate in the car. the al pastor is sublime.
Authentic and delicious tacos made with fresh tortillas and flavorful, well-seasoned ingredients. Simple, satisfying, and packed with real taste.

If you’re looking for an authentic taco truck in LA, Leo’s is the place! Stopped by with a friend who recommended their tacos & burritos. I wasn’t too hungry so got a plain quesadilla. Foods great, ambiance is fast casual outdoor seating & the truck parks in the parking lot of a gas station. They have a lot of sides, salsa, radish & onions you can self service. Will have to come back to try a burrito. Cheers!
This place takes cash and Zelle only! There is an ATM in the gas station right there, but just a heads up. I enjoyed the California burrito with Al pastor, but regret ordering it because I think I would have gotten more meat with a regular burrito. Flavor was there, but I would say this place is a little overrated especially for a $15 burrito. Parking was a little cramped but a long street nearby for street parking. Food filled me up and the salsa selection hit the spot. Overall 4 stars as the food was good, but definitely worse than the other reviews hyped it up to be.
Tacos Leo is solid but after a few times coming here, I increasingly think it’s overrated. The al pastor is often too dry and the carne asada lacks some flavor relative to the best I’ve had. It’s worth a stop if in LA for a long stay, but I don’t think the quality warrants icon status.
Really good food. prices are fair and service is fast. my go to is the tacos al pastor. usually able to find seating during less. busy hours. great food good folks.

The flavor at Leo’s was very good, but the execution fell a bit short. While the seasoning was spot on, the meat was dry and cut very thin, which took away from the overall experience. It’s an okay spot for a quick bite, but I’ve had more tender Al Pastor elsewhere. The salsa bar had a lot of great options 🔥
With how many reviews this place has, I expected more flavor than what I got. Customer service was decent nothing bad, but I think it felt better because I was super hungry and second in line lol. They did hook it up with the condiments though, which I appreciated. The horchata was okay. Food wise, it was mid for me. I got a mulita, an al pastor, and carne asada taco, and the flavor just wasn’t there. Portions were good, so you’re getting your money’s worth, but the meat wasn’t the best. Not terrible, just not something I’d go out of my way for again.
Tried Leo’s Taco Truck after hearing a lot of hype. The flavors were decent, but the meat was pretty dry, which took away from the overall experience. That said, it’s a solid option if you’re coming back late from a basketball or baseball game and need to satisfy those late-night munchies. Convenient and quick — just wish the meat had been a bit juicier.
The chicken tacos were okay, but the meat was a little dry. Toppings were fresh, with veggies and sauce. The place was small but clean. Staff were friendly. Nothing really stood out.
Service was bad and she was slightly rude or just so over her job, she just isnt nice. That should have been my first clue. I ordered 2 steak and 2 chicken tacos with corn tortilla. My son got the super burrito. My toast was 36 and they charge 1 dollar to use your card. My tacos were old and chewy. I was so extremely disappointed. My son liked his burrito. They used old tortillas for my taco. Unacceptable. I will not wated my money on this again. Only went to them because my original Mexican spot decided to open an hour later than advertised.
FOOD POISONING! On Sunday my husband went and picked us up some Al pastor tacos. Which included pineapple, avocado, cilantro, onion & lime. Of the 4 people who ate, 2 of us contracted food poisoning by the next morning. Let me tell you that it was a horrific experience. My stomach is still upset and it's been several days. This taco stand. Amongst others around LA, need to be more cognizant on how they are preparing food. Especially since they leave the cut veggies & sauce outside in open air for hours at a time. Unfortunately, I will never eat here again.
