Little Dynamite has super pizza. You will love it. They have all different sorts of pizza with great toppings. You can get different sauces as well. They also have great meatballs and garlic knots. We love their thin and thick crust pizzas. The place is adorable. Not huge, but super clean and cute. We love to get takeaway from them. They also deliver. The prices are fair and you will not be disappointed. The service is very nice. They take my order over the phone usually and just pick up. It is ready when promised and it is hot. We just love this place.
Truly incredible. I found out about this place from the LA food podcast, and it really delivered. It looks like a hole in the wall, but you walk in and are greeted by music and delicious smells. The staff are very attentive and nice and our pizza was warmed up quickly. It was fun being there, we got to see the pizza getting made and someone shaking bread and pesto in a bucket. The actual pizza was delicious. Even the cheese pizza was so so flavourful and had such a good texture. Definitely will be coming back!
Little Dynamite Packs a Flavorful Punch Little Dynamite lives up to its name, offering an explosive combination of classic New Jersey-style pizza and unique twists. My recent visit was a flavor adventure! Starters that Steal the Show I kicked things off with their "meaty meatballs." These weren't your average grocery store variety. They were plump, juicy, and bursting with savory goodness. The perfect way to whet your appetite for the pizza to come. Pizza Paradise Now, onto the main event: the pizzas! First up, the "Good Green" pizza. This vegetarian option surprised me with its vibrant mix of fresh toppings. It was a delightful balance of flavors and textures, with a crispy crust that held everything together beautifully. The true star of the show, however, was the May special, the "Cowabunga." This pizza was a celebration of all things meaty. Each bite was a party in your mouth, with pepperoni, sausage, and other delicious cured meats piled high. Sweet Ending: Panzookie Perfection No trip to Little Dynamite is complete without dessert. Their panzookie is a must-try. This warm, gooey calzone filled with Nutella was the perfect way to end the meal. It was decadent and delightful, with a soft, pillowy exterior and a rich, chocolatey center. A Slice of New Jersey in LA Little Dynamite is a hidden gem in LA, offering a taste of authentic New Jersey-style pizza. The combination of a thick, crispy crust, tangy tomato sauce, and generous toppings is sure to satisfy any pizza lover. Whether you're a veggie enthusiast or a dedicated carnivore, there's a pizza on their menu to tantalize your taste buds. Don't forget to end your meal on a sweet note with their incredible panzookie!
If you have a sensitive gut, this pizza is legit. Truly naturally leavened and the ingredients are fresh. Nice crisp around the edges. Thought I would eat a couple bites and save the rest for later but I couldn’t stop myself it was so good!!
Finally checked this place out when I was in the area around lunch. Was pleasantly surprised that this place is legit! I don't know if they claim to be "Detroit Style" but their pan was the best Detroit Style I have had on the west side - tastes very similar to back home. Ordered my goto square with Pep, Mushroom and Onion and everything was yummy except the shrooms, they were pretty burnt, crispy/chewy and flavorless. Definitely LA prices though, but what can you do? Service was good, pizza on time and hot. Parking was simple enough, it's a very small place. Would def try again. Pizza is like sex, when it's good, it's good and when it's bad, it's still pretty good!
This place is so gooood! Probably the best Detroit style pizza I had in a long time. The dough is naturally leavened so it's airy and crispy around the edges. The pizza sauce is to die for. It's sweet and savory and it really ties the pizza together. The pictures are deceiving, making the pizzas look small. But trust me, it's enough. I was full after 2 slices. I wish I could give this place 10 out of 5. Will be back very soon.
Best pizza in the westside. Both the thin and thick crusts never cease to amaze. Only place where I enjoy eating the crust. And I get so excited for the new flavors to drop every month!!!!!!
Great spot with great customer service! Ordered The pepp’d up and my gf got The Dad, both were incredible. A lot of street parking was available and pizzas seem to be on the small side but looks can be deceiving. Very filling pies with quality ingredients, naturally leavened dough that fluffy with a crispy crust. Cheese pull is unreal. Can’t wait to come back and try the others, would definitely recommend.

Tick, tick, tick, tick… BOOM goes the Dynamite! Little Dynamite Pizzeria absolutely delivers. These slices? Straight-up East Coast energy—crispy, foldable, and packed with flavor. The cheese slice alone had me flashing back to late nights in NYC. And don’t sleep on the Caesar salad—fresh, crunchy, and the perfect sidekick to that glorious pie. Quit your Google search. You found the spot. Little Dynamite is the BOMB
This pizza is special. Deep dish with really tasty but fluffy crust, and the sauces are excellent. Our pepperoni was nice and crispy, but the Shakedown Street had a delicious sauce with really tasty ricotta. I'll be coming back again

NY transplant always looking for great pizza in LA and I don’t know why there isn’t a line out the door here. Different from NY pizza due to the chewy sourdough crust but the square pie is unlike any pizza I ever tasted. Round pie is excellent too. Super friendly service too. People who really care about their product.
Well, there goes my 2026 pledge about carbs. I wowed to go (mostly) gluten free this year. And I gave myself the month of January to try all the places on my dining list, which break that rule. So today, instead of church, I chose crust. And WOW that’s a good slice! I meant to order one square of pep, and one square of white. When I opened the box, I discovered there was a n extra pep slice. And I thought, I don’t have to eat all of it. I went outside, took a couple bites… And then proceeded to devour a whole peo slice and half of the white, in two minutes. I wasn’t planning to revisit this one, but that crust?!! There are a couple pies on the menu with spicy sausage, which I can’t resist. And the Snookie sounds amazing. How many days are left in January?
Best pizza on the west side — hands down. The thin crust is perfect without that soggy feeling that too many thin crusts have. They are super generous with the toppings and the size of a slice is very large. 10/10.
What a great surprise. Thank you for doing the pizza right. We tried the Mama Mia in the square pie. The sourdough crust was just perfectly crispy. The best deep dish so far.
this place is SO good. i prefer the hand tossed pizzas personally but i have yet to eat something here that i don’t like. this ranks one of the top pizzas in LA for me- specifically the shakedown street and mamma mia.

This Detroit style pizza is incredible. Got the Shakedown Street (mozzarella, provolone, ricotta, crushed tomato sauce, pistachio pesto, vodka sauce) and the Cheese Louise, both were outstanding

This is a small hole in the wall restaurant that's easy to miss. The pizzas are deceiving, they're a lot bigger than the pictures show. 1 is enough for 2 people since it's deep dish. We got 2 different pizzas. Both were delicious. The crust is crispy on the edges and soft and fluffy in the middle. The pizza sauces are good and toppings are fresh. We got to try the tomato sauce and a white sauce on our pizzas. Overall, good deep dish pizza. I do wish there was more sauce as it was really spotty and lacking in some areas. Pricing is a bit on the high side. Almost $30 per pie and some over $30. I'd give it a try if you're ever in the area.
My girlfriend and I dropped by this pizza establishment to feed our appetite. We were hungry after a day of running errands. First impressions, fairly low key. A couple of tables outside and a bar counter inside, ambience - nothing to mention. You make your order at the counter, view the menu by scanner the QR code. We ordered the Jimmy pizza, pepperoni knots and Cesar salad. Order came out in about 20 minutes. The salad was very plain, just some lettuce and a very low fidelity dressing. The knots were good - balls of dough stuffed with cheese and generously topped with pepperoni, this was when things started to shine - that sourdough! Perfectly balanced with a pleasing texture, dipped in the side marinade - gotta say, we really enjoyed those bites. The pizza? Yeah that was realz good, thin or deep dish are my favorite, this was an uber THICK crust pizza. Again, the dough and crust were real good, topping / sauce 🔥 - no doubt that dynamite have an awesome recipe for sourdough deliciousness. Great experience - however may not be back until they have thin crust options
Update: They promptly refunded my order which is very much appreciated because this is my favorite pizza on the west side. Original issue: "They are usually very good, but I guess I made a mistake by ordering when it’s busy on a Saturday evening because quality control seems to go out the window then. Paid for sausage on the whole pizza but they only put it on half. The pizza was dry as a bone, burnt, and had barely any cheese on it. At over $42 to get it delivered, you just can’t let the quality slip this bad even if you’re busy. It's a bummer because I know they are SO much better than this."
Whole in a wall place. Airtime they have four stools inside and two tables outside with two chairs each. The two guys inside are super friendly. Ordered a 1/2 sick one and 1/2 pep’d up. Great pizza. Deep dish style. The pep’d up had great quality pepperoni. They had a side of sauce they called ranch but reminded me more of tzatziki. Also ordered the stinky uglies , basically they are garlic knots but with a bit extra garlic.
Very good pizza! They do the Chicago deep dish especially well; it tastes almost like real authentic pizza from Chicago. They make a great pizza called the Shakedown Street, which combines pesto, mozzarella, and the classic Chicago feel.

Great pizza spot with a lot of options. I like detroit style pizza and this is one of the better ones I have had especially in LA. A bit on the expensive end and I wouldn't really recommend it for great ambience when dining in though.
The pizza here is very, very good for LA (though the general level has improved vastly in 40+ years of living here). The dough is flavorful, and you can tell that the sauce and cheese are made from quality ingredients. Just keep in mind that this is a very small place, and on weekends they get super overwhelmed. That’s understandable, but it would be great if the pick up time they give you when you order a pizza reflected the actual time the pizza will be ready. I’ve ordered here many times, and it’s often a extra 20-30 minute wait after the listed pickup time. Will it stop me from ordering there again? So far no. But it’s super annoying.
Update: Spoke with co-owner Courtney via email regarding a refund. Appreciate the good customer service. Will give them another try at a later date. :) Original review: First 2 times food was good and quality. Nice and crispy Detroit pizza, but not straight up burnt. This time I ordered delivery through uber eats. Pizza was straight burnt. And was no where near the amount of pepperoni cups they usually put. Would they have remade it if I picked it up myself? Don’t know. But even if I wasn’t there to check it before I leave, still should’ve been remade. Paid almost 40 bucks. Couldn’t eat the food. Uber won’t refund. Went to bed hungry.

I saw them online claiming there's nothing special about NY pizza and they are able to make it just as good. These people must have never been to NY. Your pizza is ok but way over priced and not comparable to good NY shops. In NY you get 2 better slices and a soda for $6. Here you get 2 slices and a soda for $20. You don't compare in any way you are delusional....
