I discovered this gem recently on Colorado blvd. Food is excellent! I love that it’s counter service and you sit at a table for your food instead of waiters at your table. Menu is large and the salads are ORGANIC! Food is fresh and there are amazing desserts. They also have pizza for kids so there is something for everyone. Great ambiance inside and menu is reasonably priced. So worth a visit!
Great service. Very good food. We sat outside for the first time and traffic noise wasn’t an issue at all! We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner.
Erika L provided amazing service, the wine and food top notch. Don't miss this spot when visiting Glendale CA 🤙
The food was great!!! What really stood out was the service. I asked our waiter for recommendations based on our dietary restrictions, limited appetite, and wanting a good representation of Argentinean food. He recommended a couple of empanadas, a couple of sausages, and a main dish for my date and I to share. Needless to say, both my date and I were impressed. If I'm in the area again, I'll be sure to be back.
As local Argentinians, it can be difficult for friends and family to find a place in Los Angeles that is “authentic”. This place knocks it out of the water every time. Service is friendly, food is delicious, and the market selection of meats is of excellent quality. There’s a reason why we keep coming back here.
Flavor of food is delicately balanced. Atmosphere is romantic and grown-up. Service is smooth and servers are not stressed-out.
My first time here will most definitely not be my last. I had a wonderfully cooked steak that was perfect. Recommended by the server who's name I wish I had to reference because he made the experience great by being very welcoming and friendly. The lighting makes a nice atmosphere to go with their wonderful food. I'll be a regular here.
First time there and was very impressed from entering the restaurant and being greeted by a great warm smile. He recommended a filet of Sole dish to me and I'm glad I ordered it. Both my friend and I loved everything we had. From veggies to main course we're outstanding. Perfectly prepared. Not too pricey, especially for how great everything was.
Excellent authentic Argetinian food with friendly staff and great selection of wines
I went to Malbec market for lunch w my friends. It was a holiday Monday, so it wasn't too crowded. Our server was very attentive. Three of us shared a bottle of red wine, and ordered individual items for lunch. I had a beef empanada and cheese and corn empanada. They were so tasty, and just enough food for me. My friends ordered sandwiches, and they are badly w their food. Overall, we had a good time catching up. I loved that the servers are attentive, but never too much. Very comfortable and enjoyable place.
Food was incredible, I have been to other Argentinean restaurants before; but this one was one of the best 👌. It is a little on the pricey side, but totally worth it. Food was fresh, meat was perfectly cooked and tender. The chimichurri sauce was incredible. The server was good, quick refills, and Gonzalo was a superstar. Definitely recommend. Next we want to try the empanadas, I am confident they are as delicious as the parrillada.
My partner and I had an exquisite dine in experience here! The service was wonderful and the food absolutely stunning! I had the ñoqui and ate last bit of it. The empanadas are crispy and delicious!
Outstanding. Great spot for lunch, in a modern but cosy environment. The beef sandwich I had was wonderful, with excellent Ciabatta and tender, tasty beef. Chicken empanada was packed full of tender chicken and spices - great flavor too. Unexpectedly good Americano too. I am picky about my coffee, but this was good. To top it off they have a really good selection of Argentinian wine and other market items, and a deli. Very highly recommended.
I took my Abuelita out for lunch but didn't know where to go, and since she is from Argentina, we decided to go to Malbec Market (1 of 2 locations). The location is a little rough because it's on the street but the restaurant is very pretty and the staff is very friendly. The food is really good, I had the impression that everything was fresh and it seemed to me that everything was well made. I preferred some dishes over others, but everything was really good, I definitely recommend the Entranio and the Sorrentini. My Abuelita asked me what I thought, having lived in Italy so long...I answered " it tastes like Italian food with chimichurri on the side" Definitely a great place for a date, maybe a little pricey.
Malbec exceeded my expectations! The server was superior! They were right on top of every need without hovering or coming to the table unnecessarily. The food was prepared to perfection, both in taste and appearance. The interior was very warm and inviting and gave a sense of both a relaxed welcome as well as a rustic elegance. The prices were fair for the quality of the food and drinks and incredible service by Denise. We will be back soon!
I went for dinner with my cousin during DineLA. The service was great, their patio in front was cute, clean and spacious, and they’re dog friendly. My favorite dishes were the short rib with bone marrow and their elevated ice cream sundae. I am definitely coming back
We are so happy to find a quality restaurant near us! Malbec Market's food is so flavorful! I had the Chicken a la Mostaza. It is a half grilled chicken with herbs. Probably one of the tastiest chicken dishes I've had in years. My wife had the Entrana Al Malbec. Very good skirt steak in a rich wine reduction. Both dishes come with delicious sides. We really enjoyed everything. The staff were really helpful.
Argentinean food is amazing. If you haven’t tried it yet, this place is the one. The food is fresh, the quality is great and service is their credo. Go give them a visit. They have plenty of seatings, outdoor heater and a beautiful Mountain View.
Absolutely authentic and fantastic as it gets! I studied abroad in Argentina for 8 months and had a lot of home cooked as well as restaurant asado, with an o not a, and empanadas there. Malbec Market brought back great old memories of the cuisine I had in Buenos Aires. We had the skirt steak which was cooked to precise, which is medium rare for me. The steak was a very rich in flavor cut of meat. Calamari or Rabas was crisp and juicy, the two sauces were amazing. The empanadas are exactly as I remember having in BA. Hot, flavorful, and perfect. The word I would describe their empanadas is Perfect, Reminiscant, Savory. The mash potatoe that comes with the steak just melts in your mouth like butter. Service was awesome. They were very considerate of our water, we had a long day today and were very thirsty. Food came out pretty quick. There's no private lot but there is plenty of street parking around the block. Overall great taste, service, parking. A little pricey but not even for the quality of food. Great deal actually for an Argentinian restaurant that serves great dishes. ✅ Great food ✅ Good price ✅ Great service ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Simchelin Stars
Accidentally ran into this gem in Eagle Rock, food is amazing and the ambiance makes you want to stay. We had the homemade meatball sandwich with a marinara sauce, melted cheese and really fresh bread! The chorizo sandwich was also a flavor filled party but my friend wouldn’t share, both were spectacular .
This place is a gem of a spot! The serving size is really generous and the food is really yummy! My friend and I were out in the area and decided to get dinner before heading back down to San Diego and we wanted to try a restaurant that was in the area. That's when we came across Malbec Market. Not only were they opened later in the evening than the other shops but there was a good mix of dishes to choose from. I opted for the Suprema - a lightly fried breaded chicken breast, sauteed veggies, and fries (because why not?). The chicken was perfectly crispy on the outside, yet still juicy on the inside, and it was perfectly seasoned. The crispiness was perfect. The sauteed veggies were cooked just right. The real star of my order were the fries. They remained perfectly crispy down to the last French fry. I really enjoyed my meal (and so did my friend whom I had given a portion of my order to). I will definitely have to drop by the next time we're out in Eagle Rock. Thanks for the great meal, MM!
This is so far the best place to get a steak in the area. The service is always great. The staff is very friendly. The food is good for the value.
I wanted a pizza but the pizza shop down the road had a half hour wait..i stumbled upon this and they make Argentinan food which ive never eaten or know anything about. The staff was lovely. Answered all my questions about the cuisine and told me what the American equivalent was. I got a delicious pizza there! Very happy!
Best Argentinean Restaurant in L.A. Food was delightful and delicious. Appetizer are the best like Tapas and I highly recommend the skirt steak with an Argentinean Malbec wine. Just simple and perfect ...we will back! Gracias!

Erika L took amazing care of us! The food matched the excellent service. We ordered the charcuterie board and the flank steak. It was mouth watering. So glad we ventured out and ended up here. Thank you for the wonderful experience!
Unpretentious. Food was delicious. I had chicken breast with mushrooms and sweet potato fries.
Everything we've had at this place has been AMAZING: the salad, the Milanesa, the empanadas (I'm not a big empanada-head but these empanadas are a must! Try spicy beef). It's heartbreaking to see the place not as busy as it truly deserves to be! If you're in the area, I really highly recommend trying this place!

The food is very good. I went with a friend. He had a half chicken with vegetables and I liked the way they cook that. It had a nice crispy skin and looked delicious. I had pasta with seafood which was also very good. Be prepared to pay a little more. Anyway it's still reasonable. I would go back but this one small problem. Here in LA with some of the restaurants I haven't tried I probably won't get back for a while. But it's in my come again list.
If you enjoy pasta, meat, cheese and wine this is the place for you. I strongly recommend all their empanadas, their wines by the glass are excellent. All the pastas are super decadent and there is a splitting the plate fee, but it’s worth it to sample a few things from each part of their menu. The only downside is they close a bit early and I am a night owl.
Malbec Market is my go-to for a taste of Argentina without leaving home. Their empanadas are a flavorful delight, the pasta dishes are hearty and comforting, but it's the heavenly flan de caramelo that truly steals the show.
Excellent service, very comfortable ambience even though it's on the main road, fresh vegetables, delicious sausage, uniquely cooked pizza bread with a good amount of sauce which I like, the peppers were not overcooked and the seasoning was perfect. I would recommend this restaurant for anyone who wants to relax and enjoy a good meal at a good price with great service!
Located on the south side of Colorado Blvd in Eagle Rock between Townsend and Vincent. Street parking only, no parking lot. The food was fantastic and I’ll definitely be going back to try other things on their menu. Took a while to get our order in when there were only one or two other tables occupied. On the flip side, the food came out pretty quickly.
Grade B- (82) This place is awesome and had great steaks, but this time the entrana (skirt steak) and the Short Ribs were very chewy, disappointing. We were here again yesterday and got the fish and pasta, those were great, I guess I'll stick to those from now on. The service is great, they are all kind and helpful.
Our second time here with my partner, the food was totally great. And the services is perfect with a smile and respect. I salute the good food and nice accomodating services. Thanks and keep up the good job!
Fantastic food… customer service wasn’t great. We ordered the parrilla and gnocchi; however, they forgot the gnocchi, the forgot multiple drinks and we had to go inside to get the attention of the waiters.

We grabbed lunch here. I had the chorizo sandwich which was a little too much of everything. It was my own fault because I forgot to ask to leave off the cheese which made the sandwich overly greasy and frankly, I don't think the cheese really went well with it. My daughter had the steak with peppercorn sauce and it was very good. The empanadas to start were ok. We would go back and try other items. It was super quiet for lunch so not a lot of atmosphere. still, cute place
A market and a restaurant.. my daughter took dad for 71 birthday. We got 2 parrilladas. I will say is good for 2 people at a $76 dollars tag. A little stip , because meat was overcooked i understand some people will like it non bloody at all. But since i like it mooing ... service was wonderful, our waitress was delightful, and the place was very casual. Been in Argentina 2 times, my husband many many times, so was familiar.. i could say a few tangos sounding in the background would have been perfect.
Service was excellent. Food can be improved. Mostly the cooking of the meat, I ordered rare but it came medium well.

Really wanted to give a 5-star review, but this is really no excuse. Came here during the Dine LA week. Ordered from the Dine LA menu, which clearly stated $25 for a 3-course lunch. However, when the bill arrived, I was told the dessert cost extra $7!!! The menu was printed in black and white. Plus the server never mentioned anything about charging extra for dessert. Safe to say, would not come back in the future.
Nice area, the Sorrentinos in truffle sauce were amazing. We also order a parrillada for two and it was a complete disappointment. It lack taste and quality. The chimichurri and sauce they brought also lacked taste and quality. The provoletta was decent but not great. The Quilmes beer was very cold and great tasting. Service was good.

Beware stay away this is a very horribly managed and run restaurant I saw the chef today in the restroom and while he was leaving he did not wash his hands they do not care about customer service I've been there various times and it's been nothing but a disappointment service and environment the chef will actually come out visually take a look at you and then go back and cook your food accordingly upon his judgment of whether you should get a bigger plate a better plate or etc...they're very oblivious to there employees behavior I would think twice and then think one more time about coming back to this location and dealing with that weird chef... the Pasadena location is much more efficient and clean with with much better service... And better sizes...only a few miles away...
